    1. Snake bite

by , 06-16-2011 at 07:59 PM (Nude Pictures of Myself)
I was in the kitchen putting away groceries and I a large green snake. I told my Mom that I was going to go release it somewhere outside and she told me to be careful. When I picked it up, I realized it would have been safer to grab it by the head rather than the middle of it's body. As soon as I tried change the position of left hand, it lunged at my right and bit.

I felt a burning sensation in my hand that quickly spread up up my arm and through my body and then I went numb. I put the snake in a bag and then went over to the sink to wash the blood of my hand. I told my Mom that I was bit and she said something along the lines of "I told you so" and then she asked if it was poisonous. My vision soon went blurry and then I eventually went blind. I became disoriented for a few seconds and then I started having heat flashes. I also started cycling through emotions, one second I was furious and the next I felt terrified. After a few second of that, I was hit with the strongest high I've ever experienced and had to sit down to keep from passing out.

It felt like it had lasted hours but my Mom said it was a minute or two at most. My vision came back so I went to my computer to search up a bit of info on the snake to see if it was deadly. I read that the effects of it's poison were only temporary and that it wasn't lethal so I relaxed and went back to the kitchen, wondering what I should do with the snake.

      I woke up soon after.

    2. Devon - The Walking Dead

by , 06-14-2011 at 02:22 PM (Nude Pictures of Myself)
The only thing I can remember from last night is a small fragment. It was a really hot day and I was sweating so I took my shirt off to try and cool myself down. I was walking through an unfamiliar neighborhood and I decided to go to find a corner store or gas station where I could buy a slushy from. I heard someone call my name from behind and saw Devon on his bike. At first I was confused when I saw him and thought about doing a reality check. It was unlikely that he'd be talking to me in real life since he had been stabbed to death about a month ago in the parking lot of the high school we graduated from. He told me he had just picked up a sack, asked if I wanted to share a blunt, and was saying a couple of us should get together later that night so by this point I decided I'd rather not do a reality check. He then asked me a question but I didn't hear him clearly so I asked him to repeat it. Before he could do so, the dream had destabilized and I was awake.

    3. The Classroom

by , 05-14-2011 at 12:48 AM (Nude Pictures of Myself)
I'm sitting in class across from Milan and we're playing paper football, ignoring a nonsensical and hypocritical rant from Ms. Kaminiarz. I hear her ask Dennis to go write something on the board and whilst he's up there, he tells a joke. Everyone finds it hilarious, I hardly laugh. Some girl starts up a conversation with me about school and I notice Tawnya glancing over with an annoyed look. I get the impression that she think I`m interested in this girl but I'm not. A little while later, I notice someone rubbing/massaging my back. It strikes me as odd and I'm not sure who it is; I have a feeling it's the girl to my right (the DC named Courtney from a few previous dreams) but then I go "it couldn't be, what would she want with me?"I decide that it's probably Courtney (from Caf class) who's sitting behind. I can't remember what happened next but I know I had a false awakening after.

I'm not sure but I think this was my subconscious trying to tell me to stop settling for less.
    4. Suicide

by , 05-05-2011 at 12:14 PM (Nude Pictures of Myself)
I took a nap this evening and had a dream that was grotesquely gory (yet strangely beautiful [in a sense]). I was pretty much watching myself tear through my flesh with a gun (a MAC-10 I beleive? Idk, something automatic) and then eventually dying once I was nothing more than a mound of sopping flesh. Not nearly as pretty a sight as it sounds, I assure you. The dream then went on and kind of showed me a "what if" and gave me a rundown of various things I was missing out on now that I was dead. The dream ended with me and this girl that I'm almost, kinda, sorta, not really but in a sense I am with in real life. I think. Yeah... I don't get it either. I get the feeling like I'm "just a friend" but then there are times where it seems like it's more than that. As if she wasn't hard enough to read already, now there's this other guy that she kind of seems to have a thing for as well. Oh god, what if I'm one of those pathetic saps that don't realize they're being strung along... Does this mean I have to start laughing at myself now? D: It's complicated and you probably don't even care so I'm not going to go into it any further. Anyways, the dream replayed my first kiss which was with her a while back.

Not the most pleasant dream I've had, rather disturbing actually, but I enjoyed it nonetheless because of the rush of relief that followed when I woke up.

    5. A DC Named Courtney

by , 04-21-2011 at 10:54 AM (Nude Pictures of Myself)
Very clear, detailed dream - hence the long journal entry.

This dream began with me talking to a friend on the the phone. She mentioned something that caught me by surprise because I didn't remember telling her anything about it. I did an RC by checking my hands and noticed one didn't have as many lines on the palm as it should. I became lucid and took the time to anchor myself to the dream by chewing some gum (Trident Spearmint <3).

I decided to try and find Catie (a DC that represents my subconscious/dream guide/whatever you wish to call it). I didn't want to walk all the way over to the front door so I opened a window and decided to jump out of it instead. The moment the window was opened, a crow flew in my room and told me I should look for Courtney (an irl friend) instead. I wasn't sure why it wanted me to search for Courtney but I thought I may as well since it was the first time a crow had spoken to me without being asked a question first.

For some reason I went downstairs and went out the backdoor of the basement suite instead of the window. Once I opened the door, the fox (I really should name it soon) appeared and followed me out. It didn't do anything to attract my attention so I just ignored, I've grown used to it showing up randomly and following me around. I'm even starting to like it's company, except when it makes me lose focus by yipping, yelping, barking, or whatever you call that sound. Anyways, instead of being in my backyard, we were in the street of some residential area that seemed strangely familiar.

We went down a couple houses and stopped at one that I somehow identified as Courtney's (although it didn't look like her's). I knocked on the door and, through the window, saw someone making their way over to answer. A girl opened the door (or woman I should say, she seemed to be slightly older than me) but it wasn't the Courtney that I'm friends with, just some DC. An adorably cute one, mind you, but a random DC nonetheless. Her face did seem familiar however but I'm not sure why. I've probably seen her in another dream or maybe seen someone who looks similar at the mall or something.

I was happy to see her and I soon got the impression that she was supposed to be my girlfriend in this dream. She was even happier to see me and greeted me with a hug that literally seemed to last hours. I noticed the faint scent of black jellybeans (which are awesome) so I guess she was wearing perfume or something. Do they even sell perfume/cologne that makes you smell like jellybeans btw? I should Google that. I managed to do a couple reality checks and a few stabilization techniques before she finally let go. It was at this point that I realized the fox had left to do something. She then kissed me, which also seemed to last for hours. I didn't need to do anything to stabilize the dream during those ''hours'' though, she had (spearmint flavored <3) gum or something in her mouth so the taste was enough to keep the dream from falling apart. We eventually made our way to her bed and did the grown-folk. =P While we were lying in bed, she started telling me something that she felt was important but I couldn't pay attention because the dream was destabilizing. I "woke up" soon after.

I was back in bed and checked the clock to see how late I had slept in. When I saw it had odd symbols on it, I realized it was only a false awakening. I did several reality checks to make sure I was dreaming, then I went back out the basement suite's backdoor (the fox didn't show up this time), and headed towards Courtney's place again. This time she was wearing a blue slip dress. Normally I don't remember what DC were wearing in my dreams but this time I did so I guess my recall's improving. Hurray for progress. We sat down on her couch and started talking about something but I can't remember what was said. The dialogue seemed to have been significant to the dream but I've never been very good at remembering conversations, I'll have to focus on improving that. The dream fell apart soon after.

I woke up and checked the clock, this time I really was awake. Turns out I had only been asleep for just under two hours but the dream felt like it lasted much longer than that.

I don't know if this dream means anything but if it does, maybe I still have feelings for Courtney (my friend, not the DC). We never really had a full-on relationship but we had something going on between us; for a short while at least.
      -----
I need to remember to ask that fox a couple questions next time I see it, like why it's been following me around lately. I've got to come up with a name for it too since simply addressing it by ''the fox'' sounds weird. Also, I just had the strangest feeling of déjà vu déjà rêve (since it feels like I've dreamt of this before) while typing this out. ._.

    6. Stalked By A Fox

by , 04-20-2011 at 04:41 AM (Nude Pictures of Myself)
      *Originally posted here*

Lately I've been seeing a fox (or maybe multiple foxes, they all look the same to me ) a lot in my dreams. It's a bit of a long read so bear with me.

When I become lucid, while doing whatever it is I do in my LDs, I tend to keep an eye out for crows. I can always ask them a question and they'll answer it, or at least lead me to someone who can.

A few weeks ago (the beginning of March maybe?), I saw one and asked it to show me where Catie (my subconscious/dream-guide/whatever you wish to call it) was since I hadn't seen her in months. It led me to a sparsely wooded area and I thought I saw her walking down a trail. I called her name and followed her for a little while until I saw something orange streak passed. I remembered seeing something similar happen in a few earlier dreams but I had always ignored it. This time, I focused my attention on finding it and after I few seconds I noticed a fox sitting atop a rock.

At first glance it looked more like a wolf with fox-like characteristics (like fur pattern) but after a bit of focusing, it started to look like a normal fox. I realized I was wasting time with the fox so I went back to where I last Catie, hoping she'd still be there. She wasn't so I sat down and tried to call another crow to help me find her. While doing so, I herd a noise behind a few trees and got a mental image (I didn't actually see it with my eyes, just had the thought pop into my mind) of a bear walking in direction. I woke up after that.

That was the first time I really noticed the fox. Ever since then, it's been showing up in many of my non-lucid dreams and every lucid one. Usually I'll see it in the corner of my eye hanging around where ever I am, sometimes when I'm watching tv, sometimes in a picture, and once in a while it'll just walk up to me and try to get my attention.

A few nights ago I had a lucid dream where I noticed the fox and tried to run away from it. It isn't threatening in the slightest, it's actually pretty friendly, I just wanted to see what would happen. It tried to follow me but I noticed it was limping so I went back to check on it. I scooped it up and began carrying it before waking up. I'm not sure where I intended to go, I just picked it up and started walking. It seemed to be happy about that and it started fidgeting. The more it moved, the hotter it got until I eventually woke up with this burning sensation all across my arms and chest.

Those are the only two times I can recall where the fox played a significant role in the dream, every other time it's just been a random dream character that's just there. Had been keeping my dream journal up to date, I could have gone into more detail about each instance but, unfortunately, I haven't jotted anything down in it for a while.

I'm not particularly interested in foxes nor have I ever seen one in real life. I haven't even come across anything as of late that would get my mind to focus on foxes either. These dreams just feel... significant or important for some reason and it can't be shear coincidence that I keep seeing this fox, can it? Is this my subconscious trying to tell me something? Any help is appreciated it. If you take the time to read this post - or at least skim it - and try interpret it, I'll give you the most amazing thing you could ever imagine. It'll even come gift-wrapped with a shiny ribbon.
    7. My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic =D

by , 03-18-2011 at 04:59 AM (Nude Pictures of Myself)
I went to bed last night after watching an episode of MLP: FiM (don't judge me, it's a good show [ask Marvo *here* and he'll show you the error of your pony-less ways]) and drinking a glass of apple juice (which can cause vivid, albeit weird, dreams) so that probably had a hand in last night's dream.

I was taking a walk in the park like I usually do when I saw a horse walk by. It was white, had a blue mane with cyan streaks, and was wearing sunglasses like the one in Blackberryfox's avatar. I did a couple reality checks but they failed, I got annoyed at that because I knew it couldn't possibly have been a real horse. I must have said it out loud because the thing called me a "neighsayer" and left with a snort. I instantly became lucid and began stabilizing/anchoring myself to the dream by eating an apple I found on the ground. Everything became so damn vivid and life-like at that point that I started to think it was real.

I reassured myself that it was just a dream and headed home so I could get to my computer - which is what I usually use when I want to be transported to some far off place (woo for Google Maps). When I got there, Firefox was already running and open to a Youtube video - episode 20 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (fuck yeah!) I clicked play and eventually lost lucidity. By this point the dreamscape had changed from my bedroom to Equestria and everything became all cartoon-ish. I was in Applejack's orchard and saw her and Twilight talking. Applejack noticed me, got all excited, and called me over but when I finally got close enough to greet her, Rainbow Dash came in flying and crashed into me. The dream started destabilizing and I heard Applejack say something like "remember to email (or maybe it was just mail?) me when you get home." Then I woke up and my chest felt sore for a minute or two.

Confound these ponies, they drive me out of lucidity. D:

      More notes for myself:

      - Attempted a WILD by visualizing a landscape (a forest) then I visualized myself looking down at my feet as I walked and recreated the sound of footsteps.
      - A minutes or so into it I was dreaming but I had no control of the dream or even a body, it was like watching a movie.
      - I had to follow two girls, I couldn't turn away when I tried.
      - I could read the mind of one (who turned out to be my dream guide, Catie) but not the other (her name was never mentioned so I'll call her DC2).
      - Catie seemed to know this was a dream, which struck me as odd since most other DCs never seem to. DC2 didn't.
      - Catie was like the "main character" of the dream, DC2 was just there to tag along.
      - Catie did several reality checks and then start looking for someone.
      - DC2 pointed at something and Catie turned to look.
      - It was me, or at least a projection of me. Since I had no body and was simply observing the dream, I had no conscious connection with this "other me."
      - They tried to get the attention of the "other me" but it didn't see them. It looked like it was looking for something.
      - I tried to project myself into the "other me" but it didn't work.
      - The "other me" teleported away (several teleportations a few feet apart, the way I usually travel in dreams).
      - DC2 swore and said something about "him fading away again."
      - I woke up.

Don't exactly beleive in "shared dreaming" but given the experience, this might be as close to one as I've gotten. Maybe. Idk. Probably not.

Brief notes for myself. The dream was unusually vivid and it helped me figure something out irl so I may as well record it.

      - Saw Catie, the DC that acts as my subconscious/dream guide.
      - Followed her to ask her something.
      - Ran into my friend Selina, lost track of Catie.
      - Talked to Selina for a bit, Catie came back to ask something. She looked annoyed.
      - I couldn't remember the way back, Selina showed me.
      - Was getting dark so we opted to go to Catie's house (was close to where we were standing) and call for a ride rather than walk.
      - Lost track of Catie again, pulled out a flashlight and found her.
      - Walked through a "neighborhood" of rundown, abandoned houses.
      - Needed to walk up a mound to get to where we were headed. Selina and Catie made it over, I fell into a trench of some sort.
      - After falling into the trench, I somehow ended up in the street. Had to find my way back by going through a couple dark, empty, rundown houses/buildings. Found my way to a window and tried to climb out but the building began to grow the closer I got the window.
      - I noticed squad cars in front of Catie's house (which I could see from where I was). I then saw two cars in front of the building I was in, was glad Catie and Selina had called for help.
      - An officer helped me out and sent me on my way.
      - Can't remember what happened next.
      - I was walking down the street with a friend, not sure if it was Selina or someone else. We went to the front door of another rundown house for some reason. We were invited in. The son and father started yelling/fighting. The mother just sat there watching tv and raising the volume to drown out the noise. That just made things worse.
      - I got her to do the volume down then separated the father and son. Helped mediate.
      - Me and my friend left and and eventually met a little girl that I apparently knew (in the dream at least). She led us to another house, when we stepped inside we saw a couple other irl friends.
      - I started baking cupcakes for some reason. =/
