    1. Rocket Out of Water Dream - Mixed Feelings

So this is my first dream post, and it happened naturally last night without any attempt to dream lucidly.

I felt like I was on a vacation, passing through a series of futuristic-looking airports en route to what I believed to be one of the lesser-known Hawaiian Islands (think Molokai, but this one was distinct and I remember it NOT being Molokai, because I've been to Molokai in real life). I arrive and am marveled by the beauty of the island. I'm taking everything in, and suddenly, I notice a cloud forming a funnel, and it takes form really fast and gains speed quickly, touching down to the water. There's a panic feeling, but also a tremendous feeling of awe. I continue observing from the land by the water, and suddenly fire bursts out of the water and flows up the funnel cloud. The funnel cloud is absolutely massive, and being not too far off from it on shore, the heat from the flame was palpable. It gave me a slight feeling of doom, but I also felt a calmness in that this may just be my time to die, and I was okay with that, although I wasn't too excited at the possibility of burning alive from the flames. As the heat gets more intense, I feel a neutrality come over me about the whole thing, as if I'm observing from a neutral perspective an event so awesome, instead of feeling the panic of doom one would expect.

Suddenly the fire starts to break, and what reveals itself blows me away: a HUGE rocket launching out of the water and fire cloud. I mean HUGE, like larger than any NASA rocket I've seen photos of. It was a single rocket with a needle on top, like some of the ones you see being launched by SpaceEx now, but it was distinctly military (did I mention it was HUGE?). I see the rocket launching out into space where it seems to be arriving to another space object -- I remember thinking it was a russian missile or satellite of some kind, thinking this rocket out of the water was being shot up to stop it from attacking the US. That was just my perception, and I don't recall a lot of detail of the other object other than I remember feeling in awe as I saw the rocket from the water shoot up to what appeared to be an epic battle between these two forces in the sky.

I woke up feeling mixed feelings. I felt a sense of fright about the rocket and the fire experience, thinking I was going to die. I also felt extremely perplexed as to what this means for me.

As for real life details that may be pertinent: I've been on a spiritual journey the last 4 years and have grown tremendously. I'm in my mid twenties and have gone through many changes over the last couple of years, to the point where I don't have many friends any more, and I feel like I've outgrown everyone I know. I feel as thought I'm in-between major life cycles, with a new one to begin shortly. I'm living with my dad and have been for a couple of years. I had a growing business that fell apart totally in the last 2 years, to where I'm making enough money every month (from the remains of that old business) to basically pay my bills and nothing more. Every time I think of actions to take or try to make plans about my future, I get a strong red light (STOP) in my gut. My intuition is telling me to be patient, and that's been the message for about a year now. I don't know what's ahead of me, but with the transformation I've undergone over the past couple of years being in the limbo-state, I feel like I may be onto something big. I often feel like my big break is coming, I just don't know what it will look like at all. So I feel as though I'm passing the time, making the best of things, while things take shape. Overall I feel really good every day and better all of the time. I'm making progress, spiritually and developmentally, at what seem to be incredibly fast rates. The uncertainty of my future is really what gets me out of alignment from time to time, but overall I basically am happier than anyone I know.

So that's what I've got….would love to hear anyone's thoughts. Feel free to ask if you have a specific question of more detail.

      Thanks!
