    Lucid Dreams

    1. Cute Terrors

      by , 08-03-2011 at 04:38 AM
First Dream I'm in a baseball stadium, sitting high up in the nosebleeds. I'm not watching the game and I'm not even aware if there's anything going on in the arena. My attention is on the rowdy fans around me. Some are yelling and arguing. Eventually, fights start to break out. I've had enough of the pushy natures and left.

Second Dream I feel like I'm outside of the parking lot of the baseball stadium. But it's nightfall whereas the first dream took place during the day. There is a man, presumably my manager. There are other coworkers around me and our manager is busting a vein, completely chewing us out and telling us that we're worthless and threatens to fire us (for whatever job, I don't know). One woman in particular is an anime character, Celty from Durarara. He's picking on her the most. She begins to cry and I won’t stand for that.

I take her by the hand and lead her away from the scene. She's still very upset, so I suggest that we should drive off someplace where we can gather ourselves and feel better. We do. I'm riding on a motorcycle opposite to hers, and she texts me "Thank you, that was very nice of you." (she communicates via text) I laugh and tell her with my thoughts that it was okay. She's surprised and amazed by this. Celty asks how I can communicate with her through our thoughts, I reply that I'm lucid dreaming and I can do anything. When I think this, I ride faster and faster until I cannot see her beside me.

Third Dream I'm revisiting a haunted house I used to work at. The owners greeted me and showed me to the entrance so I could have a peek at this year’s new look. I'm appalled to see that the price of entry was $26! I refused to pay and the new workers are offended by this. The owners kindly show me in anyway without me spending a dime and I'm suddenly with an old friend that I used to have romantic feelings for. She's scared and clings to me, holding my hand while walking through the maze. One actor wearing a wolf mask greets me from behind and presses the muzzle of the snout against the back of my neck. It wasn’t a scary gesture at all. I shivered so violently and pleasantly that it almost wakes me. I shake that feeling of waking off and continue to walk with my friend.

There is a fork in the road of the maze. We chose the left side and it becomes a scavenger hunt. We have to find a ruby in each room we enter. It isn't very scary. The rooms are relatively normal and even cute. But my friend is more frightened than ever and that made me nervous. We were careful in the first two rooms, checking to see if there were monsters or anything of the sort that would hurt us, but there weren't any. I was relieved when we reached the last room. It looked like a fifteen year old girl's bedroom. It was painted red and white and pink. There were stuffed animals and heart plush toys everywhere.

My friend found the last ruby beneath the bed in the room and she silenced a scream when she looked back in the last room we came from. Inside there was a sleeping giant. It was so enormous I could only see its legs. When I told her that we had to creep out quietly, I felt a very sharp bristly gnawing sensation cuffed around my left ankle. Beneath the bed where my friend took the ruby, something was trying to pull me under with it. We both screamed and I woke.

Thoughts and Stuff When I woke up, I realized that my left ankle was scratching against the edge of my bed. It really freaked me out. It felt like the dream was still happening. And as calm as I was at first in the last dream, it really felt nightmarish. I'm not sure why. If you would like to share some insight, feel free.
    2. Blue Orchid

These dreams come in different segments but they're all connected. Also, I've had these dreams before on several different occasions. This time I had more lucid control over them, they were much more vivid, and I have little trouble recalling them.

The start of the first dream took place in a ravine, some dark rocky trench flanked between two buildings, like an alley. I was with a friend and we both came across a mannequin at the bottom of the trench. The mannequin was alive and she told us to retrieve the key inside her in order to continue to the next half of my dream. There was a hole in her thigh, so I ripped off the plastic skin there and found a series of plastic tuppaware containers that were filled with food. We opened each container and emptied the contents to find the key. The hole in her leg that held the tuppaware got deeper and the small plastic containers got bigger. The more bins we opened, the more rotten and bug infested the food became. My friend was disgusted and didn't want to continue looking. But I finished on my own because I wanted to continue the dream. I found the key in the last largest maggot inhabited container.

The dream continued without my friend but I was accompanied by Vin Diesel (the actor) and Optimus Prime (a Transformer). We had a mission to stop a latex fetish woman who tortured and killed people. While we staked out the factory she used as a hideout, Optimus and Vin were perched on a nearby warehouse roof. Optimus was in his truck form and I suddenly realized that he was stuck in this fashion and he couldn't transform. Vin said he knew a way to unlock this, so he jumped off the roof and wandered into the latex lady's factory. I've had this dream before, and I consciously remembered that Vin gets tortured and killed inside the factory, so I jump off the roof and pursue him in order to prevent the same outcome as it would usually happen.

I entered the building and it was lit by red lamps, like a dark room. Vin Diesel was floating in a pool of blood and tied by the wrists and ankles so he was immobile and couldn't escape. The woman was beginning to saw into his skull and I fought her off. At first, I thought it was somebody else fighting her, but it was me, just in a different body. I have brown eyes and black shoulder length hair in waking life, but here I had long blond hair and white eyes. I also had gloves with the imprint of skeleton hands on them, but when I fought with them, they became real bones and claws. The woman continued to struggle against me and eventually pinned me down and cut my face into a very intricate pattern that resembled tiger stripes on my cheeks and a thorned crown on my forehead that had the word "condemned" inscribed in the middle. They looked like a henna tattoo rather than scars or fresh wounds. She laughed at me and said I was worthy of making a movie out of. That upset me, I felt mocked and belittled. So I smiled and fought her back more viciously, saying that movies are fake and nothing like real life. The real world is full of pain and suffering and confusion and the cinema world is something that takes us away from fake synthetic things like her. I could clearly hear the song "Blue Orchid" by The White Stripes as I continued to scold her and beat her.

Thoughts and Stuff There were other small segments that involved stuffing hundred dollar bills into my bra, more tuppaware incidents that had nesting doll qualities, and screwing a girl that I used to have a thing for (still have a thing for? lol). Most of my dreams have been very nostalgic and exhausting to recall lately but this one made me wake up refreshed and curious. If you would like to share some insight, feel free.

    3. Let's Have a War

First Dream I'm a character in a book that I've recently re-read; Vivian from Blood and Chocolate. She's a werewolf, or, I am in the dream. I'm with a group of people in some kind of wild refugee, in human form. I cross a small creek where wolves reside on the other side. I am affectionate with them shortly before returning to the side of the creek where the people are. One girl approaches me and spits at my feet, she calls me a dirty dog. Enraged, I push her and call her a piece of meat. I hit her and claw at her until she falls into the creek. My girlskin is shed and I am a werewolf at this point.

Second Dream I am in a lavish vintage manor, it is night, and there are armies of all time periods gathering about. I'm one of them, but I cannot tell who I represent. A general asks for me to be seen by somebody, and it is a very urgent matter. I know who I am about to see, which is Adolf Hitler, and I can feel myself conscious now. I telepathically tell my allies to follow me, so we can kill him. (Valkyrie much? lol)

When we get into the room where I'm supposed to meet him, I find a long table with food covering it completely. Hitler is seated at the end of the table and he laughs at me gently, like he knows me, and tells me to be proper. I only salute him and sit at the opposite end of the table. Two men sit beside me, and we quietly discuss our strategy of taking him out. A butler serves us coffee in pretty china, but the coffee looks like melted chocolate ice-cream. I know it's poisoned, so I silently tell my friends with my thoughts to not drink or eat anything. One of them does not heed my warning and dies from eating and drinking. Nobody seems to notice that he's dead.

When Hitler proposes a toast in my name, I stand to make my move. Suddenly, he isn't in the room anymore. The walls disappear and arrows are flying at us slowly. I slow them down more, almost completely and then I wake.

Thoughts & Stuff For the most part, I'm a very conservative person. So I tend to bottle up the wild side of me, especially my anger. If I can't express it in life, I've noticed that I do express it very often in my dreams. The first dream was not lucid, where the second, was. And if it makes any difference, I will admit that I used to be a very violent-intrigued person, like many other typical Americans lol. But I'm somewhat of a pacifist now, or at least, I aim to be. If you would like to share some insight, feel free.
