    Accidental WILD.

I am dozing in bed and having trouble falling asleep because I slept a lot during the day. Out of no where I am struck by fear and I feel sleep paralysis. The fear quickly subsides as I realize what it happening, I let it continue. I open my dream eyes and with effort gain movement of my dream body to crawl out of bed (in the dream).

I feel around the room to stabilize. I go downstairs and pickup my phone to try and call Brandon Flowers to arrange to meet up with him. I can't hear what is on the phone because my music in the external world was tapping into the dream. I think it went to voicemail so I just say, "Hey meet me at *random location I don't remember*." I throw the phone down and walk out the door of my house. The door doesn't close all they way (an often waking occurrence) so I turn around to close it all the way, even though I know it's not necessary. I think it's strange that I did that.

I decide not to try and find Brandon Flowers, but rather just be on the lookout. I fly out over my street, I see my neighbors house and think about flying into it, but think of how awkward it would be if I wasn't actually sleeping, or sleepwalked there. I look up (while flying) and on the side of the sky I see the moon. In the center of the sky I see a large circle of vibrant, colorful stars and galaxies. I attempt to fly to them, but sort of just stop and drift back down toward the ground. At this point I notice I had been flying on an old dried up tree branch (like a broomstick).

Somehow I end up at an oddly shaped cement structure. as Approaching the structure, I try to make a salamander appear (to practice dream control skills) by placing my hand on the ground and imagining it being there when I lift my hand up. I failed. I notice one person I know from Boy Scouts and then a bunch of people from scouts appear. I walk up to my friend and tell him, "You know you're just part of my subconscious?" He responded with, "Yeah no shit, everyone does!" (this is a typical response by him). I walk up to a younger kid (a DC) and ask him what the meaning of his presence in the dream was. He responded with, "I don't want to be weird or anything, but... You have nice hands." I walked away thinking, whatever, weird DCs...

Now I am floating over an island and watching the waves crashing. I am getting an indescribable feeling that the dream is now coming to end. It was kind of a euphoric feeling. I don't remember anything after that, but I don't think I immediately woke up.

      Congrats on the WILD!

I get that in lucids a lot. It's like, the action is too programmed in to resist it, the dream feels real enough on some level that muscle memory still takes its role.

      That sounds cool.
