Me and my friend decided we were going to go on a road trip. So, we were driving down the highway, and my friend was driving. When I looked over at her, I realized that she was asleep. I panicked, and grabbed the steering wheel. I tried my best to keep the car in the right lane, but I was also trying to find some way to get the break, and she wasn't waking up. So, eventually, I lost focus of steering, and when I looked up, there was a red transport coming for us. I was too shocked to try to steer out of the way, so it hit us head on. Somehow, I wasn't injured, but I noticed the car was on fire, so I got out. I wanted to try to get my friend out, but I didn't know if she was okay, and if she was, she was still asleep. So, I ran away from the car. Once I was at a safe distance, I heard a loud boom, and turned around to see that the car had exploded.


Right when I thought my dreams were getting normal again, this happened xD I guess that's what happens

once again, I've had a random nightmare that somehow ended up as one of Cassandra Clare's books -_-

I was in the perspective of some little girl, probably 8 or 9 years old. She went to the basement and to her room that she shared with her older sister (who was probably 13) her older sister was jumping on her bed, and on the bed of the younger girl I could see the impression as if there was someone jumping on that bed, too. I asked what she was doing, and she said, "Jumping on my bed with my best friend." There was a scene change and I was in the perspective of the older girl. It was the middle of the night, and she opened her closet door. The closet was empty of clothing, but at the back of it I saw a girl standing, her hair was about waist length and black, and her eyes were glowing green. I closed the closet, and when I went to go back to the bed I had a false awakening. In this false awakening I drew a picture of the girl I'd seen, and then another picture of how her eyes looked in the darkness. Then it seemed to kind of melt back into that original dream, and i was staring at that girl. I could hear a voice in my head, but i didn't pay attention to the words it said. I thought it was the girl at first, but then I realized it was Jem as a silent brother (lolz) and apparently there were a whole bunch of shadowhunters there to kill the demon that was there.

Indeed this was one of the weirder dreams I've had, but its the first dream I remembered in about a month since I haven't been keeping my dj up to date e-e anyways, yeah. Thats about it.

Well, it started out fairly normal, but I can't remember that part very well. I remember being tweeted by someone important, but it was like a pin, and not even on my phone xD But eventually, my family and I were going to this restaurant. When we were walking in, everyone was staring at us and making rude comments about me. My family seemed totally oblivious to this fact, and continued on. We got to a table, and there was only enough chairs for three people, and I didn't have one. Everyone was still making fun of me, so I ran out of the restaurant crying, and went into the car. I was sitting there for a while crying before my dad came out. I had my window open, and he was talking to me. Meanwhile, I was looking at posters on the wall in front of the car. There was some weird comic strip that was creepy and demonic, it scared me, but I told myself it wasn't real, and continued looking at it. then there was a picture of a bunch of dead people behind a curtain, and on a picture next to it, there was no one there, and under both pictures it said "Was this HI?" I don't know why, but that kinda scared me, too. So, once again I told myself it wasn't real, and it changed. This time, it had a picture of a man wearing a light greenish-brown trench coat, and said "Have you seen this man?" and went on to say how he was a serial killer. I looked over at my dad, and the man was walking up behind him, I yelled "Dad" trying to make him turn around, but not in time. The man came up behind him and stabbed him in the back, and left, so i was in the car, with my dad dead, leaning against it. I was horrified, and told myself that it wasn't real. I could have undid that, and had my dad back alive, but I couldn't shake the feeling of shock and horror that I was feeling so I kept saying to myself "I have to wake up. I have to wake up." eventually I saw my room, but I knew it was a false awakening (idk how i knew, I just always seem to know xD) So, I closed my eyes as if i were trying to go back to sleep, and when everything went black, i woke up for real.

and once again this was one of those dreams that I've had before (minus the random part at the beginning) ...whatever goes on in my head, I don't know.

I've heard of this half asleep thing happening to a lot of people, but this is the first time it happened to me, so it was quite interesting.

Before going to bed, I was reading City of Glass, and my dream somewhat matched that xD

I was with my best friend, and we were in this dark house. It was night, and I don't know why there were no lights on, but something happened to my friend and she was badly hurt. I had a stele in my pocket, and quickly drew a healing rune on her arm, but it didn't seem to be working. I was really frustrated, and just wanted it to end, because the dark was starting to scare me (if you read any of my older entries you'd know that i have a weird fear of darkness in dreams, for some odd reason) and eventually, I woke up. kind of.

I had my right eye fully open, and my left eye was half open, but i couldn't move. My lamp was on, but my room seemed dark. I was still thinking of the dream in my head, playing it out without seeing anything. I kept telling myself to wake up, that I was already half awake, then thought, wait. I can turn this into a lucid.. all i have to do is shut my eyes... but then i decided i didn't want to because i knew that i wouldn't be able to banish the darkness around me, and that it would only be worse for me, so i stayed in that state for a few more minutes before i finally forced my eye open the rest of the way, and the room came into focus properly. When i sat up, my body still felt weird, like it was still partially asleep. I looked around for a minute before deciding to go back to sleep (lol) but yeah. very weird xD

Well, since I don't have many nightmares I figure I should post every one I have xD this is actually the first nightmare I've had in... about 4 years.

I was in this place that reminded me of a spa or a salon, but for some reason, they said they needed an x-ray of my feet. So I let them take their x-ray, and they say it didn't turn out. They say I have to put on this belt for it to work. I take the belt, and try to fasten it around my waist, but it is too short by an inch.

"I'm too fat," I say, and they give me a new one. I put on the belt, and they take another x-ray.

I am then talking to the woman who was doing the x-ray, and she is trying to explain to me how to keep your memory strong, but I'm not listening. Somehow, my mom is behind me, holding two lighters and the reflection is making the woman's eyes look creepy and demonic.

"Really, Mom?" I ask, and then the woman finally realizes what's going on.

"Oh, I see what you're doing," she says, then continues with her speech.

*Scene Change*

I'm standing in the same place, only I'm with two of my friends (they look different than in wl, but i know that one is my friend Abi, and the other is my friend Shale) we aren't talking, but Shale keeps disappearing and then reappearing to show off, and after about the 10th time, Abi gets angry, and decides to disappear just to prove that she can do it too. So I'm there alone for a moment, then Abi comes back. When Shale comes back, her eyes are red, and she is covered in blood, mostly around the neck area. She jumps at Abi and attacks her until it's pretty clear that she'd die soon. Shale ran out of the room, leaving me sitting there, and Abi gets up and runs. I see her running into a room, and telling everyone in it what happened, right before she falls and dies.

*Random Time Change*

I'm with my friends again, the same thing is happening, with Shale disappearing, and Abi getting mad and disappearing, except this time Shale comes back normal before Abi gets back.

"Hey, she actually did it!" Shale says before disappearing again.

Then she comes back again in the same way, red eyes, and covered with blood. This time, I was the only one there, so she jumps at me, and is tearing at my throat, but I only feel a weird tickling sensation (like I always do when I'm supposed to feel pain in a dream) when she continued to run out the door, I somehow keep my voice calm and ask her if I'm going to turn into whatever she was, too, and she said "No, I did something different" so I get up and run just as Abi had done before, and I wake up before getting to the room.

This LD was during an hour nap, which kinda surprised me, since i wasnt even trying to sleep.

So, in the dream, I was laying in my bed. I had one eye open, and i was eating turnips, but when i put them in my mouth, I realized how much I hated them, and I said "ew, i dont like those," and held the fork up to look at them, only I couldn't see the fork. or my hand. I instantly realized i was in a dream, so i tried to slowly open up my other eye without waking up. It worked after a few minutes. i kept waving the invisible fork in front of my face as a reminder, and i tried to sit up. i was going to get out of my bed (i have a bunk bed and i was on the top, so i had to try to find the ladder) but i realized how dreamlike it was. I remembered to shout "Clarity now" and by doing so i woke myself up.

Though i woke up, this is a huge upgrade from my previous LDs, and I think that eventually i will be able to get it right without waking myself up. My awareness is way better than my first 2 and better yet than my 3rd.

So, I've finally had another lucid dream again, after my first two that were probably months ago... but this one was really different.

It started off, that everything was black, and I couldn't see anything, but after a while I realized I could hear this sound like wind, or rushing waves, and I thought "oh hey I'm dreaming" and I got scared. (I remember seeing people post threads about that when i first started, but i cant remember so i'll have to go check em out again -- or post one myself ^ ^) so, anyway, I was feaking out basically because it was dark (if you've read my thread about my 'false lucid' so to say, you would know that i'm scared of dark in my dreams...) so i decided to try something, I told myself that when I turn around, it will be sunny, but I guess i didnt believe it enough, so it was still dark. then i decided to let my thoughts wander for just a second, and i could see my moms face. of course, i decided to stick with that, and started to focus on her. Surprisingly the results were pretty accurate, but shortly after, I was in my bed, though even as I was there, I was almost positive it was a false awakening, but I didn't want to continue, because in my room, I always think of the worst things, so i figured Id end up creating a nightmare and scaring myself to death, so i closed my eyes and went to sleep in the dream, and so, I woke up.

Though it was not really interesting at all, I'm excited about having this LD since my other two were not controllable at all, and i was hardly aware in. I hope that I will continue to have more LDs in the future, hopefully more interesting, longer, and more controllable, but I'm actually surprised about this one because I actually haven't really been trying for a LD lately...

That's right. My 2nd LD... which happened a loong time ago, but yeah. This was on the night of July 28th, I think... but anyways.

I was standing in a meadow. I was looking around at the beauty of it. The grass was so green, and there were so many flowers. Everything was extremely beautiful. Then, after a while, I turned around, and there was a woman standing there. For some reason she kept changing forms. First she was my grandmother, then she changed and changed until I couldn't recognize her. Then I was lucid. I know now that i was on a poor level of lucidity, because I began spinning --i suppose to stabilize the dream-- but i wasn't really aware of it. I was also asking myself 'am I aware? are we both aware?' and in my head I could hear a response saying 'we are both aware.' but I kept spinning and asking. Until eventually I stopped and said aloud "We are both aware." --btw I'm not sure who i meant by "both" because i didnt mean that woman... and I wasn't telling myself we were aware... it was weird..-- then I turned back to the woman --I'm still trying to remember what she looked like-- I think she had dark brown hair, but thats about all i can remember. And I asked "What's your name?" --more proof I wasn't very lucid since any DC would only have a name if i wanted them to-- and she smiled and told me her name was Martha. Then I woke up :/

I'm still confused on the fact that I was talking to myself.. but not actually talking to.. me.. ? I don't even know how to put it.. it was just weird XD also, I'm not sure why her name was Martha, since I don't personally know anyone with that name, and it definately hasn't been a name I'd much thought about.. but I guess thats just how it works XD I havent had any more LDs since this one hopefully I will soon though!

I am standing in a room that is empty of anything but myself, and kitchen cabinets. Everything is painted pale grey. I realized that the room made no sense, and I had no idea where it was, as I had never been there before. I decided to do an RC to see if I was awake, so I plugged my nose, and breathed in. I could feel the air going into my lungs. For a moment I thought I hadn't even done it, so I tried again. This time I made it a point to pay all of my attention to what I was doing. I still felt the air rushing into my lungs when I breathed. I became excited, and was thinking [I]oh my God I did it![I] Then as I was going to try to change the scene around me, I woke up.

It kinda sucked, waking up from the first time I had an LD and knew what it was. But I suppose since I didn't get to do anything in my first, it will just get me excited for the next ones.
