    1. Strangest Dream Yet: The Twins.

      by , 02-15-2011 at 04:39 AM
      Last night's dream was... Weird.

I know that's a silly thing to say about a dream, since they're all weird in their own right, but I find something about this dream unsettling.

The dream was processed over the course of an hour from 6:30 to 7:30. I remember playing a pokemon game. It was like a cross between Mystery Dungeon and one of the regular games... For some reason there were conflicts about it, but I can't remember over what specifically.

At some point, the antagonist came to play. There was no name for him. He was a hulking creature that wore a ski mask and overalls, but the rest of his body was pretty much black as the night sky.

Then I met up with my significant other. Or maybe he had been with me all along. We argue about pokemon a lot so the conflict could've been there...

But then we reached a place that looked like a combination of Walmart and an abandoned house I had explored the night prior (in real life).... And the antagonist was hanging out of the entrance to the attic... Which really wasn't attached to the building.

Standing at the registers of this place were two strange little people. I believe both were female and part bear, yet so short. They wore miners caps and overalls much like the generic looming figure.

Here's where it gets strange. I claim to recognize them from a paranormal magazine or video of some sort, where they had claimed they could enter anyone's dream from any place in the world. In a way, I realized I was dreaming... But didn't at the same time. In the dream, I was aware that it was a dream, yet I wasn't conscious of the fact.

Anyways, my significant other immediately interrupts and says something to the effect that should such a thing be fact it would falsify the existence of humanity or some such nonsense. It sounded like something he would say.

When he finally shuts up, the two start explaining that they're in my dream for a reason. To help me conquer the antagonist in the background who scares the shit out of me. Eventually it leads us up to the attic. At first, we see nothing... But then roaches start coming out of every crevice. Collapsing on the floor, I take hold of my boyfriend and hold him tightly. The bugs start to whirl around us in a twister-like manner, while a few of them hit us across the face. I remember feeling his warmth... Which is strange since I slept alone. The two yell at me, tell me that this is it. I needed to survive this and then everything would be okay.

I screamed... And my scream turned into my alarm. At that point, I woke up... Feeling cheated.
    2. Hummingbird.

      by , 12-09-2010 at 12:48 PM
The dream started off in a dark place. Like some kind of tent. A lot of the details are blurry.

I'd somehow managed to catch a hummingbird, putting the little guy in a small cage and, for whatever reason, trying to feed him bugs. I realized the next day that I'd been wrong about what it ate, and let it loose in the house, making up some nectar (well, sugar water) for the little guy. He seemed okay after that.

It seemed half of the dream was in my house and the other half in this mansion-like building. I remember there was this HUGE shower (because I was all up in that) and... Professor Oak from Pokemon?

Guess it was his mansion. There were a few other anime/cartoon characters, and then there was a basketball team. And... A waterfall somewhere. But all those details are just fragments.

    3. Twisters and Murderers.

      by , 12-08-2010 at 05:59 PM
Here's what I do remember from last night's imaginary ventures:

      1. There were twisters... In a house. Apparently they were lethal enough to kill since everybody hid from them. Surprisingly it reminds me of one of the earliest memories I have. I saw little twisters flying all over my room and one of them had glasses and big bulging eyes. He spoke like the guy from unsolved mysteries and it made me scream (I believe this was from around age 2 or earlier, considering I was in a crib).

      2. Some of the people from my public speaking class were there, though I can't quite remember what they were doing.

      3. I met this mean woman. I believe she was my friend at first, but she ended up killing somebody and basically taking me as a secret hostage in her SUV. I remember this woman was distinctly African American, which is probably the first I imagined up. Either way, the police pulled us over and I discreetly managed to tell the elderly cop (also made up) that she had killed somebody and would probably kill me. He managed to arrest her and I was able to drive the vehicle... Somewhere. I guess it was home in my dream.

      4. And then I remember pink stuffed animals. No idea what significance they held or why they were there...

And that's it. Last time I had a hard time remembering the last part of my dream, and this time I can't recall how it started out. But at least I'm remembering them.

    4. The Scientist's Junk Yard.

      by , 12-04-2010 at 05:54 PM
It started out in a school. I was one of those loner types without many friends. The city was as usual for my dreams: Distorted and small. As I recall I only had two companions. One that was from reality (sorta: internet), another was completely fabricated. He was a scrawny boy with short black hair and a meek demeanor, a carbon image of what you'd imagine the token bullied kid to look like. There was a junk yard with RV's and old cars and stuff (even an airplane, as I recall). One of my only friends (reality guy) said that there was a scientist who lived there and he was up to something. I saw him break into what appeared to be a sophisticated lock on an RV and go in. The inside was... Creepy. Like some kind of hospital-esque labyrinth. Then he disappears. No idea what happens to him...

I happen to meet this scientist on another day and I don't remember what he did to get me back in that junk yard (might've used the 'I've got your friend so come with me' trick or simply lured me into a false sense of security), but somehow he did. He sat me in an abandoned car on the passenger side. The foot space was open and led to somewhere very dark. I watched him put his cheap plastic disposable gloves on, like the kind they put on you while going through a mirror maze so you don't smudge the glass, as he told me there are parts in there where I would not be able to turn around. But he did so with a smile. Nervously, I entered. I didn't want to... But I also didn't want to stay with him. The place was very macabre, almost like one of those haunted houses you walk through. Bloody sheets hanging from the ceiling, rusty gurneys taking up space, flooded floors with murky waters. I came upon a room where I met the black haired meek boy. That was when I recalled we'd both been here before. I'd previously been attracted to him and perhaps taken advantage of his insecurities, then showed him something horrible the previous time in the labyrinth. I think I might've almost killed him... Either way, I tried to lead him out. Tried to help him.

We walked into an open room where a man with thousands of stuffed animals resided. He was pudgy with curly black hair and a beard, clothes obviously dirty and old. He started ripping up the stuffed animals that surrounded him saying "I'm so mad I could kill everything!" I tried to take my friend out, but he fell to the ground, taking me with him. I begged him to come with me, but he was distraught because he didn't want anything to do with me anymore So I left him there, hurt and angry at his words, continuing through the maze. I came upon what looked like a diner. Everybody had crooked teeth, much what you'd imagine a southern truck stop to be. One of the women (fat and ugly with one of those moles on her face, blonde hair tied back in a pony tail) worked for the scientist. The rest of them ignored me completely, even when I tried to say something. She bought me food and other things I'd need to live, since apparently I wasn't going home. There was a city outside of the windows. A large one... That looked as if it was made of trash. Apparently we were a few stories up (don't ask me how that happened). Then she took me somewhere...

And I can't remember the rest. There are bits and pieces I recall, but I have no idea what order they happened. There was more than just a scientist living in the junkyard. A couple of nuclear happy families with no problems whatsoever, even though they lived in abandoned cars and airplanes... And I recall the diner lady giving me paint brushes of different sizes and shapes. I believe that was towards the end of my dream when I was about to wake up.
