Dream No. 556 - House For Lunch

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, I was at my house. There was known to be this entire plague of weird creatures that looked half way between worms and caterpillars, I recall calling them caterpillars. Whichever room they were in and whatever they would touch, they would decay the object, basically eating away at it and replacing the surface area with empty matter. There were heaps of caterpillars in my bedroom and I was actually freaked out to see that the floor was eaten away at and there was revealed to actually be another floor about half a metre underneath.

Before everything would get eaten up, I went in a frantic search for my four 18-Volt paper figures. Sadly, three of them had already been eaten away at and so I had to make a really mad dash to save the last one. The kitchen seemed to be the only place at the moment that didn't seem to be infested with caterpillars and so I thought I was safe. There was my grandma though, she went into another room and got a handful of caterpillars. She then brought them and forcefully released them onto the 18-Volts. The last paper 18-Volt was eaten out of and now I was upset.

I proceeded to the bathroom and I saw another version of me there! She was standing and looking at herself in the mirror. Her features were sort of blurred and she had a slightly different hairstyle to me; shorter and more twig like. She was also wearing a hot pink long sleeved t-shirt under a white short sleeved t-shirt as well as a denim skirt with a black belt and light blue ballet flats. As soon as I was about to talk to her, she began to walk off in a brisk manner.

Though she was walking away, I was desperate to pursue her and tell her who I was. She must have realised when I told her “If we can go and see the real 18-Volt and tell him what’s wrong”. She and I then ended up walking out of the house together. In the last scene though, I am by myself on a park track and the dream ends before I can find 18-Volt.
