    4/21/12 No Dream Recall

    by , 04-21-2012 at 04:37 PM (549 Views)
I don't remember anything, but if I do, I'll make another entry and delete this one.

Don't really think it's important to dream right now, since I'm not finding anything worthwhile anymore (excluding the shared dreaming searches).

Looking for my dream guide now seems kind of worthless, especially if no one is going to show up as yet, which obviously means I'm not ready for one.

I know some people have a hard time finding their dream guides, but I'm getting tired when people use others' stories like that to convince you that it's going to be hard, kind of like how people keep proclaiming WILD is so hard....it is at times, but just they make it seem it's impossible if you can't balance certain aspects of it.

Maybe you could go back to the basics and just freshen up and take it slow, without having to put too much effort into it for now?

Just a thought.... I'm thinking about taking Ophelia's DVA class.

I said those things because of final exams coming up, I can't worry too much about dreams.

Maybe when I get back to college during periods where there aren't any exams to worry about the first semester as a sophomore, yes, but for now, unless I get lucid by accident, I shouldn't really kill myself to do anything serious.

I mean, it's not like I go through a 56 step killer process or anything, it's just waking up, and convincing myself to stay up for like 15-20 minutes or so, and then fall asleep, that's it, lol.

And the recall isn't a big issue since I'm used to typing out things quickly, and then extending them later on when I have time.

It's just final exams and practicals for the next few weeks to worry about.

Take care of waking life first.. you know you can always come back to dreaming when things are less stressful.

I wouldn't worry too much about finding a DG. They tend to show up on their own schedule and unless you know how to through an insanely huge tantrum and track them down, it's sort of a waste of time.

When the timing is a bit better for you to put more energy into dreaming, why not pursue something fun that doesn't involved judgement or progress? Keeping a narrowed focus means you might not notice everything else. That and the real joys are what's drawn between the lines...

Thanks, Kaomea, I'm taking one of the DVA courses from Ophelia and fOrceez to help me not be too crazy about finding my DG.
