    task of the month dreams

    1. Completing all but 2 beginner tasks for April TOTM

Long lucid dream WILD, that got more stable over time. I counted my fingers at different points when I doubted myself. I felt it was a pretty long, detailed lucid dream, and was a bit worried I would forget parts, especially as I slept between having the lucid dream and recording it.

In our apartment I looked around the room, and everything seemed in place. I put my hands to the light and looked at my palm, which looked normal. I looked at pictures on the black closet. There were lots of tiny pictures. I looked closely at them, trying to take in detail.

Tried to remember more dream tasks. I was in my parent's garden. I was wearing my blue top and black tracksuit bottoms. I tried to pull something out of my pockets but there was only fluff from the trousers. I felt the grass with my hands and my face, and I felt the texture and the temperature (it was not cold). I looked at the sky, it wasn’t too detailed and colours blended into each other. I tried jumping and gravity was a bit off, but I didn’t jump too high. I attempted to read ingredient labels, which was funny because they looked roughly convincing at a glance, but when read closely, they looked like made up ingredients.

I wanted to eat chocolate cake, so I opened the fridge with the intention that I would find one, but the fridge was full of other stuff, so I didn’t eat anything.

    2. Short transformation & look at sky

Amazing lucid dream where at first the dream kept fading out but then I would stabilize and it would come back. I popped in and out of the dream in this way. I noticed a mirror at one point so I transformed into a rat for a tiny bit. The environment was beautiful and I did more things, but I should have woken up sooner as I have forgotten many details. I kept having FAs in a house where I dreamt someone else potentially lived in the same bedroom too so that was uncertain. I tried aeroplane hands and the success was not great. When the dreamscape was not very realistic, I shouted ‘increase realness’ twice and it turned more life-like. I tried to remember some of the dream tasks I had, and I looked at the sky. It was absolutely beautiful. It was like a painting though, with big stars.

When I woke up I counted my fingers, and at first I realized I was dreaming, but then got caught up in the dream as my partner was telling me off for using playing cards and mixing other things up in the playing card deck.

The dream felt really long, but I have forgotten many details as I started dreaming non-lucidly after that!
    3. Amazingly vivid lucid dream

I did a finger RC and I counted 6 or 7 fingers! I looked around to look at my surroundings and soak in the detail. I looked down at my body and saw I was wearing black school uniform (as that was what I was wearing in the dream before becoming lucid. I felt my body with my hands and realised I could feel my hands with my body too. I did a bit of awareness/dream yoga stuff to try and sense as much as possible in the dream. I felt the ground and it was grass with big clovers on it. It was interesting to bend down, as I could feel the orientation of my dream body change as if it were my real body. I transported to a pool in which I could feel the water on my body. I said ‘raise temperature by 2°’ out loud and the water temperature increased. I wanted to transport to a desert so I knelt down on the sand coloured tile floor and tried to imagine my finger was drawing a door. At first it looked like nothing was happening, but then I saw a bit of the invisible door I had drawn had a crack. I hit the floor and the door gradually opened, revealing a desert scene.

I had a false awakening and immediately wanted to write the lucid dream in my dream journal. I was in a student house with some people I knew at uni and they kept distracting me from writing down my lucid dream! Eventually I did wake up in reality and I wrote down my lucid dream.
