NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! Last day of the competition and I get lucid twice! The first dream sucked, but I managed to enter the same scene by the DEILD technique. It worked like a charm and the LD lasted around ten minutes or so.

00.00: Sleep

06.00: Shorty DILD
I'm standing on a balcony overlooking the city. It's an amazing view and the houses are mixed with trees. I look closely at the horizon and my vision suddenly improves tenfold. It's like I'm looking through binoculars. "Oh cool I'm dreaming" I say and enjoy the scene for a while longer. I get up on the railing and jump off and start to fly. As always I fly for a few seconds before the dream collapses.

I can feel my body sleeping in bed. I lie perfectly still and intend to go back to the dream and do it right. SP quickly sets in and my neck and arms begin twitching. I start visualizing holding onto the back rest of a chair and moving my feet on the floor. I imagine the floor being tiles with sharp edges between them just like I have in my bathroom.

06.00: Nito?! DEILD
The scene I'm imagining starts to appear infront of my eyes and I keep on rubbing my feet on the floor and shifting my hands on the chair. "Matte, what are you doing?" my friend Felix's friend asks me. "Hold on" I tell her and make sure I've stabilized the dream enough. "Cool" I say and she looks confused. Felix is in the room aswell and he's eating cake. "Oh! Can I have some cake?" I ask. "Yeah sure it's behind you" he says. I grab a big piece. "There's vanilla custard inside of it right?" I ask. "Yes" they both reply. I take a big bite and it's delicious. I walk out onto the balcony I was in the dream before. It looks exactly the same.

I sit down on the railing, dingling with my legs over the edge. 'Hmm, what should I do? Have sex? No... I know! Summon Nito!' I finish the cake and shout out his name. "Nito?!" 'Hmm, that sounded too Swedish...' "Nito?!" I yell again. "Yeah?" someone replies from the street below. I look out and can see a few kids playing down below aswell as a black haired guy. I throw myself off the balcony and fall twenty meters and smack down into the pavement. "Hey man!" I say man and grab Nito's head. He's taller than he should be. "You're too tall" I say and we laugh. "How are you then?" "I'm good mate, you?" he says and we start walking down the street. After a few yards I realise we have to train.

Two guys show up. "Fight them!" I tell Nito and we take on one each. I leg sweep one of them and slam him down into the ground with my fist while he's in the air. I look around and Nito's standing above his foe. 'Wow that was quick.' "Alright, we need to find some weapons" I tell him. We've been fighting outside of a big wooden villa and I figure there must be weapons in there. I enter the door and the hallway is pretty dark. "I'm not going in there until someone turns on the light, don't want to lose this dream" I say and Nito hits the switch. Satisified with the lighting I enter and head for the refrigerator. 'Should get something to eat to stabilize...' "Check for weapons in the freezer" I say and don't believe for a second there are any in there. After a little searching my friend Felix (who must have appeared out of nowhere) tells me he can't find any.

I grab a huge ice cream cone instead and nibble on it for a while, it tastes great. All of a sudden I spot an old man in a bathrobe running up the stairs. I run after him and rub my hands to make sure I stabilize the dream. I follow him through doors and narrow corridors until he stops in a closet. I grab his arm from behind the door and take the shotgun from his hands. I lose lucidity. "Go ahead and kill me then!" the old man tells me. My sister shows up. "Those shells are weak, the more expensive ones costs twenty crowns" he tells me. I blast the shotgun next to his ear. He hands me another shell and opens his mouth. "Do it!" he yells at me. I shoot him in the face and almost nothing happens. He gets a bit black here and there.

06.00: WBTB 10 minutes.

09.00: Wake up
