    Beginning

I have only just begun and have not had any lucid dreams yet. After about 4 nights of remembering a dream a night (and being aware that there were others I couldn't remember) I couldn't remember anything from last night. And I know I dreamt, several times. I am so disappointed. Will it just take more practice?

I had taken a sleeping pill, which I do occasionally if I have had a few nights of too little sleep. If anyone reads this, have you found that sleeping pills influence your dreaming or your recall? If they will get in the way, then I won't take them.

      Hello fellow moonie
Sleeping pills aren't likely to help with recall!
If you are having trouble falling asleep, you should try some herbal tea before bed, using plants like skullcap, passionflower and valerian, as these can increase the vividness of your dreams.

Thanks for the comment Moonmoth. (I wanted my usual forum name Luna, but it was taken here. Have you ever seen a luna moth? They are exquisite.)

I think I will try and get hold of some of the tea that you mentioned.
