    Greatest Joy; Dream Zooming

    1. I'm in the living room on M street, and sit down on the couch. I think that I haven't had an LD in a while, so I decide to close my eyes and fall aleep as a family member is working on a computer across the room. I begin drifting to sleep in the dream thinking about lucid dreaming. I find myself in another building walking down a corridor and through a door. As I pass through the doorway, my awareness raises and I realize I'm in a dream. I begin flying at rapid speed speed down various corridors and into different rooms. I finally enter a slightly larger room with a stage and some people sitting on stools at tables eating dinner. It resmebles some type of lounge with a live band. I remember back to a dream goal I had wanted to test out, and decide to call out to the dream: "What is my greatest joy?". I await a response, but nothing comes for quite a bit. I decide to wait it out. I'm really interested in a response, but feeling let down by the dream narration when a sudden answer comes. In a ridiculous voice sounding like Kermit The Frog, the awareness behind the dream call out to me in a rapid, sarcastic tone: "...Mac and Cheese...". my lucidty breaks for a short period.
*Later on I ended up waking up for a WBTB and was laughing my ass off from this

I end up back in the living room in M street by the couch. I tell myself that instead of getting up I'm going to sit and go to sleep to have more lucid dreams. I think - without lucidity - that the previous experience was awesome. I sit and close my eyes.

    2. I find myself walking down a corridor once again and suddenly realize I'm in a dream. I begin moving through the corridors at a incredibly fast pace in increments, like 'zooming' through all the scenes. I think back to a post in which Zoth posted a video describing this tech. I have good control over the super quick movements, and am blasting my way through all the corridors in the dreamscape. I notice that I can start a mental command similar to a woosh which reverberates into the scene which helps with the zooming. I combine this with quick intermittent movement of my legs and arms, as though sprinting in very short intervals. I once again enter the room from the previous lucid and appraoch the people eating dinner from their high circular tables by the stage. I see that they're eating chicken legs. I'm feeling super hungry, and decide to eat some. I begin eating one quickly and it tastes and feels incredibly vivid; the texture and taste are about 90% similar to waking life. I gnaw on the end of the bone and actually feel the end of the bone crunch and taste it. My front two teeth become very sensitive, and I actually feel discomfort on my teet from it. I decide to stop using dream time in this area, and leave the couples after the second table. I head out of the room and zip down another corridor practicing the dream zooming tech. After a couple corridors,
I wake up - in a non-lucid dream - in M street on the couch. I decide to get to writing the dreams down right away in order to not forget them; I feel that they were awesome. I head into the next room and begin to tell family members that I just had a few lucid dreams.

*First LD of night forgotten upon waking.

      haha, "mac and cheese".

And interesting, how we remember in a lucid what we have read on the forums, that can help us at the moment. Nice experience : D

Haha Thanks! I was hoping for some epic response, and had this dream goal in the back of my mind for some time. I was really pumped about the response while in the dream waiting for it. It's funny how we can have so many expectations/hopes about what our mind will present to us, yet our subconscious can really have a mind and sense of humor of its own.
