    Sand and Waves

I'm approaching a wooden railway that's on the edge of a raised platform. As I approach, I become aware of the dream feeling, and become lucid. I say "I'm lucid" and my overall awareness raises. I continue to jump and fly over the railing, and enter the scene beyond. It's a very vivid beach with rolling, light blue waves and a long stretch of light tan sand. I descend onto the sand which appears to be behind a resort-style area. Many children are playing in the rolling waves, and I can't believe how vivid they are; I note that they're indistinguishable from waking life. I think that I should probably get to some dream goals, but feel that I've ended up in such a cool environment that I should take the opportunity to just enjoy it and explore. I consider surfing on the waves as this has been a prominent dream sign in the past, but I realize I've never actually surfed in a lucid. My body feels encumbered as I begin to walk across the sand, and I remind myself "Eric, this is a dream - you can just stand up and fly".My mobility raises, and I feel that sand beneath my feet as I walk. I stop and simply ground myself, looking around at the people gathered under scattered tents erected in the sand. I focus on raising my awareness and continue to tell myself I'm inside of a dream, and appreciate how life-like everything feels. I wonder if I should focus more on stabilizing, but decide to keep going. I look back at the waves, then fly low to my left. I feel the dream is getting close to fading so I land and decide to trying spinning slowly and rub hands. It becomes fuzzy quickly, so I lay down on the sand and go for a LDEILD. I continuously tell myself 'I'm lucid'. As I close my eyes and focus.. I end up losing lucidity, and enter a dream in which I'm earning points online in my dream yoga class for the lucid dream I just had.
