    1. Witch's House (February 6, 2013)

by , 02-11-2013 at 08:49 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)

      Witch's House

It was raining and I was being chased down the road by a dog. I saw a house nearby that felt familiar to me. I was a little far from town and I figured the house could shelter me from the rain and protect me from the dog. As I ran towards it, I thought, "What if it's locked?" Immediately after that I had what felt like a memory. I'm not sure if these were just false memories or if they were from a long forgotten dream. What I remembered was that there was a bone in the doghouse that acted as a key to the door.

I ran to the dog house and grabbed the bone inside. It looked like the remains of a human hand. When I turned around, the dog was right in front of me. It jumped onto me and knocked me to the muddy ground. It bit my arm as I tried to protect my face. I pushed him off and ran to the porch. There were odd holes on the surface of the door. I had another memory, a vision of me putting the fingers of the hand into those holes to unlock the door. So I did exactly what I saw in the memory. I heard a click and I opened the door and went inside. I slammed the door shut and the dog ran into it. He growled and scratched at the door for a minute before running off.

I walked into the foyer and had another memory. The memory was of me walking in and greeting a woman. She seemed strange. "Why am I having these memories?" I asked myself. "Are these memories from a dream? Is this a dream?" I did my reality check where I feel the dream and it was a success.
I could feel that I was dreaming. I probably should have just left the house and done one of the things on my to-do list. I didn't leave though because I was curious about these weird memories.

The house was dark, but there was still enough light for me to look around. At the end of the foyer was a door and behind it I remembered that there was a storage room. There was also a staircase in the foyer, but something told me to avoid it. To the left was a living room and to the right was a dining room. The longer I was in the house, the more uneasy I felt. Everything around me felt sinister.

Out of nowhere I had a memory that simply told me where I was. I was in what was known as the witch's house. "Oh shit, where's the witch at?" I said quietly. I remembered that the witch was evil and she had done something horrible to me. I then heard someone opening the door behind me. I transformed my hand into a dragon hand and turned around to attack the person who walked in. I pushed her against the door and I was about to slit her throat with my claws, but I stopped. Due to the circumstances, I thought it was the witch who came in, but it was actually River, my dream guide.

"Sorry," I said as I let go of her, "I could have sworn you were someone else." She was soaking wet and trying to dry out her hair. "But I thought you could always sense who was nearby," She said. "Normally I can," I said, "but all I can sense in this place is evil." She walked into the living room and took a rest on the couch. Nothing seemed to be bothering her. "It does feel a little weird here, but I think you're over reacting," she said. "What are you doing here anyways?" I asked her. "I came in here to get out of the rain and because I saw you walk in here." She said. I think she was stalking me again, but that was the least of my worries. I decided it would better to get us somewhere safe instead of searching for my memories. "River, get up, we're going home," I said. "But we just got here," she said, "Let's take a look around." I tried to open the door, but it was stuck and I couldn't get out. So I figured I didn't really have a choice other than to look around.

I went into the living room and sat on the couch with River. I was hoping that I would remember something if I sat in the room. I wasn't able to come up with any memories though. "Are you okay? You're dripping with blood," she said. After she said that, I realized that my left arm had been bleeding since I was bitten by the dog. I then had a memory of me lying on the floor in the living room. I was bleeding and the witch was standing over me with a bloody dagger. She apparently needed my blood for something. This memory disturbed me.

River started to shake me because I wasn't paying attention. "Don't worry about it, I'm fine," I said. "Let me heal it," she said. She placed her hands over my wound and she tried to use her magic to heal me. There was only a spark of light however. "Aww, my magic isn't working here," She said. "The witch must have used an enchantment or something that prevents the use of magic," I said. River then wrapped bandages around my wound and it started to feel better.

After that, we walked back into the foyer. I was planning to search the dining room and River started to walk up the stairs. This brought back another memory. In the memory, I was being dragged up the stairs by the witch and thrown into a room. I didn't seem to have much fight left in me. The room had blood pooling on the floor and gore splattered on the walls. There was some kind of tree growing in the center. The roots and branches of the tree started moving. They were violent and began to grab me and attack me. I think the tree was carnivorous and trying to eat me.

The roots and branches grabbed my arms, legs, and head and lifted me into the air. They started pulling and were trying to tear my body apart. I didn't have enough strength to resist it. Then without thinking, I breathed fire at the tree and it started to burn. The tree dropped me back into the pool of blood. It then began to splash itself with blood in an attempt to put out the fire. I used this time to escape, though I'm not sure how.

When I came out of the memory, I realized that the tree is most likely still alive and that River might open its door. I ran up the stairs to River and she opened the door I was worried about. She looked into the room and said, "I think I'm going to be sick." A bloody root then grabbed her foot right at the moment I grabbed her. She was screaming as it tried to pull her in. I was strong enough to pull River away from it and I slammed the door shut on the root. She was safe now, but I think she passed out. I carried her down into the living room and laid her on the couch.

I figured the living room was safe enough for her to be alone, so I left to search the dining room. There wasn't really anything there worth noting except another memory it triggered. This memory was before all the violent stuff started happening. I was sitting at the table and she made me some tea. I didn't notice it at the time, but the memory showed me that she had put some sort of poison or drug in the tea. After taking a sip of the tea, I fell to the floor and nearly passed out. It explains why I didn't have much fight in me before.

I don't think there were really anymore rooms with memories tied to them left for me to explore. I decided I would go into the kitchen to see if I could find a way out. Something didn't feel right about the kitchen though. I stepped on the tile floor and immediately jumped back as a spike came out of the tile I stepped on. A spike rises out of the floor when you step on a tile. Apparently there was something worth guarding beyond the kitchen. I figured I could avoid the spikes if I ran around and jumped a lot, so I did just that.

There was a door on the other side of the kitchen and I assumed that the witch's secret was behind that door. I sensed that there was something dangerous about the door. I opened the door and I immediately rolled onto the counter to my right. The door was a trap that launched several rather large leeches at me, but I avoided them. I walked into the room and inside there was only a hole with a ladder to a basement or cellar. I didn't feel comfortable about wandering to far away from River or going down that hole alone.

I went back to the living room to check on River. She was awake now and looked a bit better. "How are you feeling?" I asked her. She looked at me and got mad and said, "You left me!" "I saved you!" I said. She was about to yell something back at me, but I heard someone outside and whispered to her to be quiet. The person came onto the porch and I started thinking of places to hide. The storage room came to mind and I quickly snuck over to it with River. We hid inside the storage room just before they came into the house.

I soon heard the voice of the witch say, "There's mud and blood on the floor. It seems we have visitors. Now where could they be hiding?" I thought River was about to panic, so I covered her mouth with my hand. The witch was inspecting the mud on the floor and muttering something about the mess we made. River was mad about me covering her mouth and she bit my hand. "Ouch, what was that for?" I asked. At that moment I thought we were pretty much caught because the witch surely would have heard that. Then River said, "I was trying to tell you that we can teleport away from here," she said. "Why did I never think of that?" I asked myself. "Hurry up and grab onto my necklace!" she said.

I grabbed onto the necklace that River was wearing and we started to glow. The witch opened the door to the storage room, but she was too late. There was a flash of light and we were teleported to the Dragonborn city on the floating islands. We were now sitting under a tree in the park, taking a moment to relax. Things finally felt peaceful. "I can't believe we made it out of that house alive," I said. "What should we do now?" she asked. "I'm going to call the police and let them take care of the problem. I'm done with that place," I said.

The dream then skipped ahead to me sitting in the back of a police van. Chris, Claire, and Kira were also sitting with me. A woman with pink hair was driving the van and a man with red hair was sitting in the passenger seat. I think the woman's name was Lola and the man's name was Rick. I assumed that they were Dragonborns. Behind the van were a few other police vehicles. We were heading back to the witch's house.

"Why do I have to come? I'm sick of that house," I said. Lola said, "You're here because you know more about the witch and the house than anyone else does. We need you for this." Rick then said, "It was also your idea to raid the house, so it makes sense for you to come along." I turned towards the others and asked, "Why are you guys here then?" "We're here to assist you obviously," Claire said. "When was the last time we went on an adventure anyways?" Chris asked. "I'm pretty sure we went on one earlier this week." I said "Well one isn't enough! We should be having more adventures!" he said. "Why isn't Krystal here?" Kira asked. "I wanted her to stay home and make sure Lucia didn't try to come with us," I said.

By the time we were done chatting, the van stopped and we were outside the house. We grabbed our weapons and exited the vehicle. We approached the house and the other police officers, who were likely also Dragonborns, followed behind us. The house appeared to be surrounding by sort of force field. The witch could be seen in the front window smiling at us. "Come out of the house with your hands up!" Rick shouted. "I don't think that's going to work," I said to him. "Well I have to say it," he said. The witch pulled out a wand and began shooting fireballs at us. We started shooting at her, but our bullets couldn't penetrate the force field. We then tried using our own elemental magic against the force field, but that was also ineffective.

The witch threw a fireball straight at me and I rolled to the left. The fireball missed and blew up the van behind me. "This isn't working, I think we should send in the SWAT team!" I yelled. Lola yelled back at me, "We are the SWAT team!" "That's just not fair," I said. Rick was over behind the doghouse calling us. He appeared to be leading the "SWAT" team. Me, Chris, Claire, Lola, and Kira gathered behind the doghouse with Rick and waited for his instructions. "You," he said pointing at me, "break down the door. I'll cover you."

I powered up and formed ball of elemental earth energy in my hands. I then charged towards the door and hit it with this ball of energy. As the door blasted apart, Rick breathed a large cloud of smoke over the area and the 6 of us rushed into the house. Me, Rick, and Lola activated our dragon sight ability so that we could see better through the smoke. I could see the witch's aura and a bunch of small gremlin-like creatures. The witch appeared to be gathering power for a spell, and the monsters were preparing to attack.

Chris, Claire, and Kira remained hidden in the smoke while me, Lola, and Rick fought the gremlins. I did a partial dragon transformation so that I would have claws, horns, wings, and a tail to fight with. The gremlins were no match for us because they couldn't see us, but we could see them. All of their attacks were completely off and our attacks were perfect. After the gremlins were dealt with, the three of us attacked the witch. Rick fired his assault rifle at her and she created a magic shield around herself to block attacks. As Rick was distracting her, I came at her from above and destroyed her shield with a blast of fury energy. Lola then rushed in from behind pinned the witch down. By the time the smoke cleared, she was arrested and the battle seemed to be over.

As Lola was handcuffing the witch, the witch seemed to have either died or fainted. Above her body appeared a sinister ethereal creature holding a scythe or sickle-like weapon. The only name that comes to mind when I think of it is reaper. We knew this reaper was going to put up a greater fight, so Rick ordered us to get into formation. I fully transformed into a dragon and Rick and Lola also performed partial transformations to grant them each claws, horns, wings, and a tail. Claire prepared bolts of lightning in her hands, Kira drew out her swords, and Chris readied his bow and arrow. Me, Rick, and Lola were in the front, Kira was in the middle, and Chris and Claire were in the back. The battle was ready to start back up again.

We all attacked the reaper at once with different weapons and magical attacks, but everything phased through it. For some reason the reaper ignored everyone in the front and went straight to Claire. It tried to attack Claire, but Chris defended her. Kira attacked the reaper with her swords right at this moment and wounded it. We learned that it needed to become tangible when attacking, which is when it would be best to attack it. After being wounded though, the reaper fled down the hole in the room beyond the kitchen.

Chris was wounded, so I told Rick, Lola, and Kira to chase after the reaper. I stayed behind to heal Chris and Claire stayed behind to yell at him. She was mad at him because he got hurt by trying to protect her. I looked at him closer and he had a large cut across his chest. I placed both hands over his wound healed him with my magic. I must be getting better at it because it only took me about a minute to heal him. I thought he would want to rest after that, but he actually wanted to keep going.

The three of us went into the room on the other side of the kitchen and jumped down the hole. The hole dropped down into a large arena where the others were fighting the reaper. They were even getting some hits in. When the reaper saw us drop in, it stopped fighting and flew to the other side of the room. On the other side of the room was a pedestal with a bowl on top. The reaper began pouring blood out of a bottle into the bowl. "Hey! That's my blood!" I shouted. It was apparently the blood the witch took from me.

The reaper lit the bowl on fire and escaped into a room beyond the arena. A great metal door then slammed shut behind it. Most likely due to the flaming blood ritual, a several dragons began rising out of the ground below us. "What did that thing just do?" Lola asked. "I think it used my blood to raise an army of undead dragons," I said. Considering that we were fighting undead dragons, the fight went pretty well.

We killed a few of them, but they were beginning to overwhelm us. As we defended ourselves from the dragons, Chris noticed a scroll on the ledge above the door. I flew up there and grabbed the scroll. I read the scroll aloud, hoping that it would make something good happen. I can't remember what the scroll said, but the spell caused the dragons to become dead again and the door opened.

There was then a sudden earthquake or explosion that knocked me off the ledge. Rick then said that me and him would be able to finish the rest of the mission. He told Lola to fly everyone out of there and to get some place safe. I wasn't sure how only the two of us would be able to handle the situation, but I trusted Rick's decision.

We ran into the next room which was some kind of magma chamber. We had to fly over the magma to get to a chamber on the other side. "Judging by the structure of this place, there's likely an entire dragon burial ground in the next chamber," Rick said. "We have to stop that thing from resurrecting all of those dragons," I said. When we reached the burial ground, the reaper was only trying to resurrect one dragon. Because of us, it didn't have time to resurrect all the dragons. The particular dragon it was trying to resurrect though appeared to be a king.

Using the same ritual as before, it brought the dragon to life. The reaper then possessed the dragon to gain full control of it. Rick fully transformed into a dragon and we prepared to fight. Rick charged towards it with flaming claws and got a few hits in, but the dragon knocked him back into the wall with its tail. The dragon then breathed fire at me. I countered it by throwing a blast of air at the flames. I summoned my crystal sword and ran through the scattered flames towards the dragon and tried to attack it. The dragon blocked my sword with its horns and knocked me back.

"Keep it busy for me, I have a plan," Rick said. He flew back into the magma chamber to do something and I got back up to face the dragon. I began building up fury energy. It breathed another wave of fire at me and I generated a energy shield around me for protection. I charged at it and continued trying to slash at it with my sword.

After a few minutes into the battle, there was huge explosion. Must have been Rick. Magma began flooding through the tunnels and into the room. When magma started flowing into the room, I unleashed a wave of fury energy at the dragon. The dragon was knocked back into the magma. It and the reaper were now gone. I knew that the whole place would be flooded soon, so I quickly started flying back out. I met up with Rick partway and he guided me towards the exit.

I don't remember anything beyond this except that we all got out alive and lived happily ever after. I hardly write in my DJ anymore, but for some reason I felt like this one needed to be written.

So a few days or so ago I started to create a tulpa of my dream guide, Krystal. Part of my reason for doing this was to see if she could help me with lucid dreaming even more in some way. I remember she talked a lot when I was half asleep during the night. I can't remember what she was saying, but I think they were mantras. I can't really confirm that, but it makes sense to me.

As far as I know, this dream started off with me being lucid. It's possible stuff happened beforehand, but I don't remember. I was walking with Krystal in the middle of nowhere. Not really sure how to describe it. There was a lot of dirt and a lot of rocks. That's about it. The time was also near sunset, so the sky was pretty at least.

As we walked we came across an area where there were many large stones. They seemed kind of organized and looked as if they used to be structures. My first impression was that we were among the ruins of some old village that had been abandoned or destroyed. As we walked among the ruins we came across what looked like an old wheat field. Oddly, there was still wheat growing. It also had a creepy scarecrow on a post in front of the wooden fence.

Unfortunately Krystal didn't seem to talk much, and for the things she did say, I have trouble remembering. Perhaps I'm just a horrible listener. However, I do remember her saying something related to the wheat field being a massive unmarked grave. She also mention something about construction. Krystal then jumped over the wooden fence and dashed into the field. I was confused at first, but I jumped over the fence too and followed her. When I caught up to her, she was pulling a leg out of the ground. She then dragged the leg back towards the scarecrow. I found an arm sticking out of the ground next to me, so I pulled it out and dragged it back to the scarecrow.

Krystal removed the straw from one of the scarecrow's legs and then shoved the human leg back in to replace it. When she did that, the leg somehow locked into place. I then did the same with the scarecrow's arm and the human arm I found. We then went back into the field to look for more body parts, but time must have skipped here or completely forgot it.

Next thing I know, the scarecrow's straw has all been replaced with human body parts except for the head. Krystal transformed her hand to give herself claws. She took a swiped at the scarecrow and cut off its head. After that, Krystal went back into the field and brought back a pumpkin. She placed the pumpkin where the scarecrow's head would be and asked me to carve it for her. I didn't feel like asking questions, so I transformed my hand to give myself claws and started carving. I decided to try to make it as scary as I could for the fun of it. I gave it glaring eyes, a smile that showed many sharp teeth, and a triangle nose.

As I was doing that, Krystal had pulled out what I would assume is a spell book. She started flipping through it and reading it as a green glow formed around the scarecrow. When she finished reading, she closed the book and the glow disappeared. She then she asked me to ignite a flame inside the pumpkin. So I pointed a finger at the pumpkin's mouth and shot a tiny fireball into it. The pumpkin's face lit up brightly and I felt compelled to just stare at it for a moment. The scarecrow's body twitched slightly, and I immediately jumped back and into a fighting stance. Right when I jumped back, the scarecrow tried to grab me, but it missed. We had apparently brought the scarecrow to life.

The scarecrow detached itself from the pole and walked over to a tree stump. There was a hatchet that had been left wedged into it. It pulled the hatchet out and turned back towards me. For some reason I wasn't thinking too clearly and wasn't sure how to react. The scarecrow then charged towards me at a super fast speed. I finally decided that it would be a good idea to transform into a dragon. Before I had the chance to transform though, he was already right in front of me. He knocked me back across the ground and into a wall. As I got back on my feet, I was kind of dazed and I wondered why Krystal wasn't helping me at all.

The scarecrow appeared in front of me, and before I could even react, he grabbed me with one hand and swung his hatchet with the other. The blade went into the right side of my neck and I felt a sharp pain. The pain at least wasn't as bad as you would expect it to be though. He then wriggled the hatchet back out and then started hacking away at my neck more furiously until it fell off. My head hit the ground and rolled a bit before the scarecrow stopped it. He picked up my head and then smiled. It seemed as though he desired a human head to go with his human body.

My vision was starting to fade when I saw Krystal appear behind him in wolf form. She attacked him and I blacked out. After a moment I heard Krystal's voice telling me to use my illumina spell. It was kind of difficult since I didn't really have a point of focus or a target for it, but I eventually formed a purple light around me. Suddenly I could see again, but it was weird because it looked as if I was wearing a jack-o-lantern over my head. That was kind of close to the truth. I tried turning my head to look around, but I couldn't. Krystal angled me to be able to look up at her. It became apparent to me that I was still just a head and Krystal was carrying me.

Krystal carried me to my body (which was oddly still standing up), and attached me to my neck. I could feel my body again and I had control. I looked around and saw the scarecrow guy lying on the ground headless. Not far from him I also found my head. After putting two and two together, I realized that I had the scarecrow's pumpkin head as my own head now. I felt kind of sick at this point and fell over. I passed out and woke up for real.

      Basic TOTM i

I was inside a gas station with a few characters from The Walking Dead. I think they were Dale, Daryl, Andrea, and Rick. The front door was boarded up and had a refrigerator blocking it. All but one of the windows were also barred up. I peeked through one of the barred windows and saw many walkers/zombies wandering the streets outside.

The four other survivors were busy gathering supplies. They were also arguing something about needing to relocate. I then looked out the unbarred window to get a better view of the area outside. I saw my mother running through the street trying to find a place to take shelter. A zombie then grabbed her and pushed her to the ground. Without thinking, I immediately opened the window and jumped out to try to help.

I ran towards my mother while weaving past other zombies trying to grab me. I transformed my right hand into a dragon hand and pierced my claws through the zombie's skull and into its brain. I pulled my claws out and pushed the zombie off my mother.
I started thinking again and I became lucid when I realized what just happened. I wouldn't be able to transform my hand if I wasn't dreaming.

My mother got back up and I guided her back towards the gas station. A zombie came at me from the left. I pulled the zombie towards ground and then stabbed it in the back of the head with my claws. My hand got stuck when I did that. I put my foot on its head and started pulling. My hand broke free and half of the zombie's head came with it. I removed the rest of the head from my claws and wiped the blood and brain stuff off on my pants. It was probably one of the most disgusting things I've experienced in a dream, but I didn't really feel like it was a good moment for vomiting.

Another zombie was standing in front of the gas station window. I knocked it to the ground and quickly stabbed it in the head. I then told my mother to go through the window first. Several zombies were already around us and I had to kick and punch them to keep them back. When my mother got through, I quickly crawled into the window. I felt a zombie grab my leg when I was half way through. I tried to kick it away and managed to keep it from getting a bite out of me. A second zombie came by though and bit my right leg. It then ripped out a chunk of my flesh and I screamed in pain. I immediately grew a dragon tail and swiped both of their heads with my tail blade.

My first thought was, "I'm going to turn into one of them". I looked at my arms and I saw my skin was already turning gray. I still tried to crawl through the window though, but I was stuck. I wasn't exactly in the mood to be eaten alive, so I decided it would be best to kill myself. I summoned a gun directly into my hand. I pointed it at my head and said, "Time to wake up." I then pulled the trigger, heard the gun shot, and everything went dark.

Although it went dark and dream seemed to have ended, I wasn't awake. I could still feel that I was dreaming. "Everything ended, but I'm not awake? What do I do now?" I thought. My vision soon came back and I found myself lying in my bed. My bedroom looked a lot different though. I really felt like crap and I had a massive head ache. I placed my hand on my head and felt bandages wrapped around it. As I did this, I noticed that my arms and hands were really gray like a dead person. Apparently I somehow survived the shot to the head, someone saved me, and I hadn't completely turned into a zombie yet.

I heard people from outside the room saying something about currently treating my wound and the infection. It seems that the disease that makes you a zombie could be cured with medicine they were giving me. I felt like I should get up and take a look around. When I got out of bed I immediately leaned against the wall. It hurt to move my right leg. I looked down and noticed that there were stitches where I was bitten. I also felt very dizzy and my headache got worse after standing up. I questioned whether the headache was from the infection or from the bullet. I slowly made my way across the room towards the door. There was a mirror on the wall next to the door and I looked into it. I was wearing a hospital gown and really did look like a dead guy. It spooked me a little.

When I opened the door I saw one of my dream guides, the old man, sitting on a chair talking to my mother. He was apparently the one who gave me the medicine. We talked about something but I can't remember what. I noticed that the stairs were blocked off by a bunch of furniture, so we were pretty much safe on the second floor. I heard the sound of a truck driving out back. I looked over in that direction and noticed that the wall was missing. I think it collapsed.

I walked over there and saw Chris driving a blue truck around the field like a maniac. I think he was intentionally trying to piss off the zombies. I'm not sure if it was the dream or the medicine, but I definitely wasn't in the right state of mind in this part of the dream. I looked at Chris and gave him a double thumbs up. I then looked down and saw a few zombies below trying to figure out how to climb up. One of them jumped and managed to at least grab my leg. I fell and struggled to hang on to the ledge as the zombie pulled me.

One of them tried to bite my foot. I kicked it and yelled, "Hey! Fuck off zombies!" A couple other zombies came by and started trying to grab my feet. I then started yelling, "Ninja kick, ninja kick, ninja kick!" as I kicked them away. Chris noticed that I was having zombie problems, so he drove through the fence and over the zombies. He crashed the truck into the house and I fell into the back of the truck. He then shifted into reverse and drove back into the field. I think I woke up after this.
    4. Illumina Spell, Some Upsetting Dream (March 8, 2012)

by , 05-06-2012 at 03:40 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)

      Illumina Spell

I don't remember the first half of this dream really. Only the later half. I was walking down Main Street in Loudonville with a group of random teenagers. We were carrying sleeping bags and backpacks full of random stuff. I think we were preparing for a camping trip. We walked down to the end of Main Street and stopped at a store for camping supplies. It was dark and empty, so we assumed they were closed. We really needed stuff though.

I became lucid at this point for no reason I can see. "Wait, guys, I think I'm dreaming." I said. They then started cheering for me and congratulated me for becoming lucid. "Yeah! Now things are going to get fun!" One of them yelled. Even though I was lucid, I was still focused on getting camping supplies. "How about we get supplies, leave money, and leave?" I asked. "It's too dark in there. We wouldn't be able to see a thing." One of them said. "Anyone here have a light spell?" I asked. "Oh! Let me try!" One said. He then made some weird motions and held out his hand, but nothing happened. "No dude, you need to say something for it to work." Another boy said. He then held out his hand and said "Lumos". It didn't work either.

Everyone's attention shifted to me now. They seemed to think that it would be up to me figure out the spell. After hearing lumos, I thought more about Harry Potter. "Someone give me a wand." I said. "What makes you think I have one?" A boy asked. "Because dream characters have everything." I said. He groaned and pulled a wand out from his backpack. I took the wand and flicked it while saying, "Lumos". Nothing happened. I then tried charging up magic in the wand this time. When I flicked it I said "Illumina" instead for some reason. When I did that, I got a brief spark. It started to irritated me at this point and I went into fury mode for a brief moment. I focused the fury energy into my wand. I pointed it up into the air and shouted, "Illumina!" I bright purple ball of light appeared at the tip of the wand and it was a success.

Everyone congratulated me on figuring out how to cast the spell. We then walked into the store together to get supplies. The story was pretty well lit now. I was looking inside some fridge for food to bring I think. Inside I found two tiny people dancing or something like that. The dream faded away at this point and I woke up.

      Some Upsetting Dream

I don't remember much of this dream anymore. I was inside a car with my parents and sister on a road trip. I remember they mentioned something about going to Nevada. I remember the mood was very negative for me, but they were all pretty content. I noticed that my dogs weren't in the vehicle with us. They almost always go on our road trips. "Where are the dogs?" I asked them. "We had to leave them behind, so we killed them." My sister said. This really upset me and I got in a huge argument with them that I can't really remember.

I remember somewhere in the argument someone said, "What are you so upset about? It's just a dream."
I became lucid at this point, but I wasn't aware enough to think things clearly. It's also hard to think clearly when you're getting really emotional. At one point my sister finally said something that pushed me over the edge. I can't remember what she said. I went into fury mode and pretty much lost control of myself because I was so pissed. I transformed my hand into a dragon hand and put my hand in the Star Wars force choke position. A purple ring of energy then formed around her neck and I started choking her. When she passed out I regained control of myself and stopped. I decided to wake myself up from the dream because it wasn't going down a nice road.

    5. Tunnel of Spiders, Flying Over Stormreach, A Lucid Contract (February 17, 2012)

by , 02-19-2012 at 07:53 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)

Once again I didn't daydream about anything in particular. I just wanted to become lucid. That may have influenced the last dream. It's also possible that I may have had spiders on my mind at one point.

      Tunnel of Spiders

I'm really not sure how to describe this dreamscape. I guess it was sort of like a Colorado dessert with all of the giant rocks and crap. I was walking around the lower area of a mountain with Claire. We were walking along a set of railroad tracks for some time just talking about something. It was probably something important that I really wanted to know. Somewhere in this I either became lucid because of the conversation or because I remembered Claire is a dream guide.

The tracks led towards a tunnel that was blocked by some really tough spider webs. There was a small cave to our left with a huge brown spider standing in it. Not really huge, but it was like bigger than my foot. It just sat there watching our every move.

Claire pointed her sword at it and said, "Go kill it."
      "What? Why?" I asked.
"Those webs won't disappear unless it dies." She said.
"Why do I have to do it though?" I asked her.
      "Because you're dragonborn!" She yelled.
"There is no way I'm dealing with anymore dream spiders!" I shouted.

As I said this the spider from the cave behind me started running towards me. My danger sense alerted me and I started running from it. I kept running in circles as it kept trying to bite my ass. Claire nearly killed me a few times while trying to slash it with her sword. Eventually the spider did jump on me. I grabbed it and threw it on the ground before it could bite me. Claire then stabbed it with her sword repeatedly until the spider stopped twitching. I crawled onto the ground and curled into a ball.

"I hate spiders, I hate spiders, I hate spiders..." I kept repeating.
"Don't be such a baby." Claire said.
"It tried to eat me!" I screamed.
"Get off the ground already. We have a job to do." She ordered me.

As I got up, I heard a rumbling sound. I looked down the tracks and saw a train coming. The train slowed down until it stopped in front of the tunnel. Chris stuck his head out the window and waved to us. Apparently he was driving the train.

"All aboard!" Chris yelled to us.
"What's with the train?" I asked him.
"You want to make it through the tunnel alive don't you?" He asked me.

Claire climbed the ladder onto the top of the train and I followed her. Once I reached the top, the train blew its whistle and started moving again. As It moved towards the tunnel I saw hundreds and hundreds of those giant brown spiders along the tunnel ways.

"Oh F***..." I said staring at all of them.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine." Claire said trying to build my confidence.
"Nope, I'm out of here." I said walking back towards the caboose.

Claire grabbed my hand and pulled me back. She then forced me into a battle stance as the train went into the tunnel. Claire started charging her lightning magic in her one hand to create a light source. I could now see thousands of spiders swarming around the tunnel. A few of them tried jumping at Claire, but she slashed them with her sword. A few of them jumped at me and I just slapped them away. My heart was racing and I couldn't really think clearly out of fear. 10 or more of them soon surrounded me in my confusion. Claire then jumped between me and them and started defending me. Each time one tried to jump at me she would rush in and slash it with her sword.

"Calm down, I won't let anything bad happen to you." Claire told me.
      "Okay." I said.

Seeing her slash spiders to pieces and saying that to me calmed me down some. I could still only punch and slap spiders though. I wasn't thinking about using any of my powers. Claire did a really awesome move with her lightning. She threw a ball of lightning at some spiders and it exploded into bunch of lightning bolts that killed many spiders.I looked at Claire and saw that she was getting exhausted. An extra big one snuck behind her an jumped at her. She turned around and tried to slash it, but she was too late. It held her down and started clawing at her (these spiders had claws).

This really angered me and I gave myself dragon hands. I gripped the spider's stomach with my claws and lifted it off of Claire. I ripped the spider's stomach open and threw it off of the train. Claires blood seemed to have attracted hundreds of other spiders who were previously docile. I tried to get Claire back up, but she could barely move. As the spiders moved closer I realized it was up to me to protect her this time.

I stood above Claire and created a shield of fire around us. It burned every spider that touched it, but they were starting to overpower it. I was really starting to struggle to keep the shield up. Claire then started to wake up a little.

      "Release your fury..." She said.
      "What?" I asked confused.
"Do it." She said before passing out again.

I really started to get angrier at this point and sort of understood what she meant. My whole body started glowing with a purple energy and my fire shield grew more poweful. I slowly let this power build up inside me. When it was full, I let out a powerful draconic roar and shot the flames out in both directions. I felt much more calm and relaxed after releasing my fury. Unfortunately this was a really long tunnel and there was another wave of spiders coming. I looked down at Claire to see how she was doing. She was more awake now and she took a drink of what looked like a healing potion. Her cuts started to heal and she sat up. She wasn't capable of standing anymore though, so I still had to fight alone.

I suddenly remembered Neji from Naruto using the 16 triagrams 128 palm thing on over a hundred spiders. I decided to mimic this with my fire element. I charged fire magic into my hands and got into the stance. All of the spiders started swarming in towards me. I rappidly hit all of them with my fire hands while circling around Claire. My main goal until we got out of the tunnel was to protect her. A bunch of them then jumped at me from all angles. I spun around and created a wave of fire in all directions to kill them. After all of this the train finally exited the tunnel. After getting a good distance away from the tunnel, Chris stopped the train.

I carried Claire on my back and climbed down the ladder. I walked to the front of the train to see what all of this trouble was worth. In the distance from the mountain I could see a bunch of floating islands. They were hidden in the clouds and had a bunch of dragons flying around them. I got too excited after this and woke up.

      Flying Over Stormreach

A pretty short lucid dream (because I forgot most of it). I had just grown dragon wings and was flying above the ocean. I was flying towards Stormreach's harbor off in the distance. I flew over the city and was amazed by it. Some general guy then started yelling at me something about having to go one a mission with a bunch of other soldiers. I just ignored him and went looking for some friends to quest with instead. I flew over a gate and landed in a street. I saw a horse carriage running full speed down the street at some guy who wasn't paying attention. For some reason I recognized this guy as Colton/Coolb3rt. I jumped in and grabbed Colton. I used my shadow magic to turn both of us into shadows so that we would phase through the carriage. I know a lot more happened in this dream, but I just can't seem to remember.

      A Lucid Contract

I was in a school like place called the "Lucid Academy". I most likely became lucid due to the name of the place. For the most part it looked like a normal highschool, but you would see kids practicing magic, summoning things, and flying all over the place. I was walking down the hall and talking to Chris about something before we bumped into some girl. She looked completely confused about everything that was happening.

"Where am I? What's happening here?" She asked.
      "You're dreaming." I told her.
      "I am?"
"This is the Lucid Academy." Chris told her.
"I don't want to lucid dream!" She yelled.
"What? Why wouldn't you want to lucid dream?" Chris asked.
      "Because it's scary!" She said.
"Okay, let's get this straight. In a lucid dream you can do ANYTHING you want!" I said.
"Yeah, it's really fun." Chris said.

Chris then summoned a large piece of paper. He mentioned something about signing a "lucid contract" and training the girl. Oddly he wasn't going to sign it, but wanted me and the girl to sign it. He handed me the blank paper and a marker to sign. I handed it back to Chris and he examined it as if he was checking to see if it was legitimate. I watched the girl write her name on it. It was hard for me to read, but I think it was either Carly or Molly written on it. She handed it back to Chris and he examined it again.

"Alright, it's official! You will make her become lucid every night from now on." Chris said.
      "Wait what?" I asked confused.
"Oh you didn't know?" Chris asked me.
There was a long pause before I asked the girl, "So are you lucid yet?"

She just sat there motionless wiith a blank expressionless stare. I waved my hand in front of her face to try to get her attention. With no response I could only assume she woke up or something.

"I don't do that everytime I wake up do I?" I asked Chris.

He laughed, but didn't give me a clear response. I spent the last minute of the dream trying to get the girl's attention.

    6. Uncontrollable Fury (February 8, 2012)

by , 02-09-2012 at 01:54 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)

      Uncontrollable Fury

I don't really remember the beginning of this dream. I do remember seeing a man standing inside a pond with a baby. Something about it didn't seem right, so I started walking over to the pond. I then saw him hold the baby under the water trying to drown it. I ran into the pond as fast as I could and punched the guy in the face. I brought the baby back to the surface and somehow got it to breathe again.

"What the hell were you trying to do???" I asked the man.
"That is the child of the enemy. He should be killed!" The man said.
"That's not his fault!" I exclaimed
"He'll grow up to be a monster. Give him to me." He demanded.
      "No." I told him.

He was about to take the baby from me by force, but I just punched him in the face again. I kind of knocked him out and left him floating on the water. I walked over to a house and left the child on a rocking chair. I then heard the sound of an animal crying in pain followed by laughter. That combination did not sound one bit right. I followed the sounds to back of the house. On the other side of the house I saw 3 men surrounding a dog. The dog was covered in cuts and bruises and it looked like it hadn't eaten in days. Two of the men were holding down the dog and beating it while the other guy was taking pictures of them.

It completely sickened me to watch this and my anger started rising quickly.
I somehow becaame lucid at this moment and decided I would go over there and beat some sense into those guys. Before I could even take my first step towards them the dog they were beating had died. They kicked it a few more times before tossing it to the side. I then saw them bring my dog out of the house and hold him down. One of them pulled out a pair of scissors and started cutting my dog's nose up. This pushed my anger far beyond its limits.

I transformed into a dragon and started growling. I actually found this scary because I completely stopped acting human. When the man was about to stick the scissors in my dog's eye I let out my most powerful draconic roar. It knocked them all to the ground and used time control to close the distance before they could get back up. The one with the camera did man age to get back up though and he attempted to run into the woods. He only made a few steps before I stabbed my claws right into his back. I used my earth element to smash him into the ground with as much force as powerful. I then started biting and clawing at him.

As I was doing this, the man with the scissors tried to sneak up from behind me and stab me. I saw this coming with my danger sense though and cut the man's stomach with my tail blade. When I turned to face him he tried to stab me again. I shoved my claws straight through his arm and he dropped his scissors in pain. I forced him to the ground with my claws still in his arm. I then started biting and pulling at his arm until it was completely ripped off. I finished him off by slashing my claws through his throat.

The last man pulled out a hand gun and shot me in the side. It knocked me to the ground and hurt like hell, but I didn't care at all. I got right back up and slowly started walking towards him. He tried firing another shot, but this time a purple spark appeared a few inches in front of me. The bullet seemed to have bounced off of this energy. He tried firing a few more shots at me, but the same thing happened whenever a bullet got near. I soon cornered the man against the house and started growling again. He stumbled to the ground and I pierced his chest with my claws to be sure he wouldn't crawl away. I then looked directly into his eyes and released a red energy (fear) into his mind. He started screaming in fear until he passed out a few seconds later. I ended it when I jumped up into the air and smashed his head with a tail strike.

I was now in some sort of killing frenzy. I was looking all around me for anything to kill. I started roaring and took out many trees with my draconic roar. It wasn't until I saw my dog lying on the ground in pain that I finally calmed down. I came back into control of myself and undid my dragon form. I walked over to my dog and used my healing magic on him before waking up.

When I woke up, I still had much anger inside me. So much in fact, that I had to punch my wall. My hand still hurts...

    7. War On Shadow Men, Space Fragment (January 29, 2012)

by , 02-06-2012 at 02:00 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)

      War On Shadow Men

When I woke up in the middle of the night I tried daydreaming as I fell back to sleep. I seem to daydream about odd things in the middle of the night. I sort of daydreamed that there was a game menu in front of me and it asked, "How many lucids do you want?" I scrolled down the menu and selected "3 lucids with action".

This dream started off with me and about 10 other soldiers running through a forest. It felt a lot like I was playing MAG. We were running towards a wooden building on the other side of the forest. Two really short guys in black robes (shadow men) jumped out from behind the trees. They had machine guns and I ducked down behind a nearby as they started firing. I pulled out a frag grenade and threw it over the rock at them. They made a very funny high pitched "ugh!" sound when they blew up. Sadly we were down to only about 7 guys after the fight. I threw a smoke grenade in front of the building as we ran towards it. More shadow appeared at the same time and tried to block out path. I dropped on the ground and shot a couple with my assault rifle and they made that funny noise again. I quickly got up, ran through the smoke, and opened the door.

I walked in with 2 other guys who were apparently all that was left. We walked down the dimly lit hallway of what looked like a hospital. As we walked into the lobby a shadow man popped his head up from behind a desk and a few more came from the hallway on the other side of the room. They started shooting at us with assault rifles and killed the guy to right of me. Narrowly dodging bullets, I quickly ran to the left corner of the room behind a wall of pipes sticking out of the wall. I'm not sure what happened to the other guy. I threw a poison gas grenade towards the hallway to stop more shadow men from getting into the room. I then looked threw the scope and shot the two shadow men that were running towards me. When the other two shadow men behind the desk stopped firing at me I threw my last frag grenade at them. When it exploded they flew up in the air in a cartoony way and made that funny sound again. There was another shadow man, but he ran down a hallway before I could kill him.

I walked around the lobby for a moment trying to take in what had just happened. The light then started to flicker and the colors in the room dulled. It looked like a place in a horror movie now. I found one of my guys lying on the ground in a pool of blood. I checked to see if he was alive, but he wasn't. I put my gun down on the ground and took his assault rifle because it had a silencer and flashlight.
I became lucid at this point for some reason that I can't remember. I suddenly got a suspicous feeling from a dark closet on the right side of the room. I took a step towards it, but then hesitated. I turned my gun's flashlight on and pointed it at the closet. I slowly walked towards it before a shadow man jumped out with a knife. I shot it in the stomach with a few bullets though and it fell onto its back.

I turned off my flashlight and walked towards the hall all stealthy like. I peaked out around the corner and saw a dark blur fly across the hall. Right as I saw this the flickering light in the hall suddenly went out. It was nearly pitch black now and I was really scared. I took a few deep breaths and turned my flashlight back on. I slowly walked into a small bathroom on the left. I shined my light around the room and everything seemed normal, but then I felt like looking in the mirror. When I looked in the mirror I saw an eerie (not sexy) shadow move behind the shower curtain. I quickly turned towards the shadow with my heart pounding like crazy. I motioned as if it was going to open the curtain, but instead it sort of evaporated. I gathered up some courage and quickly ran to the shower and opened the curtains myself. The second I opened it I fired a few shots at the tub, but there was nothing there. I then heard the echo of a little girl's laugh. I turned back towards the door way and saw a trail of blood leading from the tub down the hall.

I followed the blood trail down the hall and started to give into the pressure. I kicked open a door to the right and started firing my gun, but there was nothing there. I thought I saw a shadow from under the door to the left and did the same. I then sat down for a moment and tried to calm myself down. I took in a few deep breaths and reminded myself it's just a dream. I then picked up a wet sponge on the ground and repeatedly squeezed like a stress ball. I reloaded my gun and walked down the hall. I had more courage this time as I walked, but I had that weird feeling in me again that told me there was something bad at the end. My heart started pounding as I reached the door at the end of the hall. I opened the door and I know something happened, but I can't remember what.

      Space Fragment

I'm just going to give a short explanation of this one because it confused me. I was lucid and I was floating in space next to earth with the elf. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were standing on an asteroid and gave me a quest to destroy a space station. Sure, why not? So then we fly over to the space station and I shoot a fireball at it and the elf shoots a lightning bolt at it. It blew up and a bunch of gold coins came out.

    8. Escape Boat, Escape Train, Escape Plane (January 27, 2012)

by , 01-28-2012 at 04:02 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)

      Escape Boat

Before this dream started, I was testing day dream awareness. I was day dreaming about odd things because my mind wasn't fully awake. I day dreamed that I was swimming in the ocea after a cruise ship. Just to make a key point, I was climbed onto the ship by a really long ladder. Now onto the dream.

I was sneaking around a facility (of what kind I do not know) with the elf. I was wearing a backpack that must have been full of a lot of stuff because it was heavy. I was also carrying a couple bottles of Gatorade and some granola bars in my left arm. It seemed that we were looking for supplies and anything useful. She opened a chest in the corner of the room and started digging through a bunch of junk. I think she even tossed out a rubber chicken as she was digging. Inside the chest she found a large old book, a compas, a couple sacks of something, a can of gasoline, and a familiar looking blue crystal. She put the book, compas, and crystal in her satchel bag. She tied a string around the gas can and put it around her other shoulder. She carried the sacks of what I think was fruit in her left arm.

"I think we have enough supplies now." She said.
"Agreed. How do we get out of here again." I said looking around confused.
"That ladder over there." She said pointing behind me.

She walked past me and started climbing the ladder. I followed right behind her, but she somehow got to the top in like 10 seconds. It took me a while to climb the ladder because of how heavy my backpack was.
About half way up the ladder I suddenly became lucid because climbing the ladder seemed familiar to me. It may just be coincidence, but I think my day dream might have been successfully helped me become lucid in a way.

"Guess who's lucid!" I shouted happily as I neared the top.
"That's nice. Just hurry up." She said as she grabbed my hand.
"Grouch..." I said as I climbed to the top.

We started walking through a dimly lit metal hall that felt kind of sci-fi. I started to get a weird feeling as I followed her. It felt like something was about to happen and I think she felt it too.

She stopped and said, "Be careful, I think there's a trap ahead."
"Doubt it." I said trying to be positive.

She slowly started walking forward. Then out of know where I heard a streaking sound and saw blood splatter from her stomach. She fell to the ground and lied there motionless.

"Holy crap!" I said as I ran over to her.
I lifted her head and asked her, "Are you okay? Can you move?"

She could only moan in pain. I looked down and saw a huge gash in her stomach. 100 thoughts went through my mind at once for what I could do to save her. Then the thought of simply healing her wound came to mind.

"Okay, don't worry, I think I can heal you." I said to her.
I held out my hands and spoke to myself, "Just focus the magic in my hands..."
"I'm ready!" I shouted once my hands started to glow white.

I then placed my hands over her wound and released the energy into her body. She glowed brightly for a moment. I shielded my eyes and when I looked back her wound was completely healed. She opened her eyes and slowly stood back up. She was alive now, but it looked like she barely had enough energy to stand.

"Awesome! I can heal people now!" I congratulated myself.
"Just hurry up." She said stumbling to through the hall.
"What? No thank you?" I said catching up to her.

The hall led outside. I could see that it was the middle of the night and there was an ocean outside. At the end of the hall was a ladder that went down 10 feet. The elf started climbing down the ladder slowly, but I just jumped straight down. I sat there for a minute or so waiting for her to climb all the way down. We then walked over to a motor boat sitting next the docks.

"Be very careful, or they'll spot us." She whispered.
      "I know, I know." I said.
"Take the supplies and put them on the boat while I fill it with gas." She told me.

She grabbed a bunch of bags that were sitting next to the boat and handed them to me. She then tossed the two sacks of fruit and her satchel on top of that. I quickly lost my balance and I stumbled back. I fell onto the boat and tipped it over and all of the supplies were in the water.

"You idiot!" She yelled at me.
"Don't worry! I'll get the stuff back!"
"Don't forget to bring back my bag!" She yelled as I started swimming.

I turned the boat back rightside up so she could fill it with gas. Then I started swimming around the harbor gathering the stuff I lost and putting it back in the boat. Right when I thought I had everything I remembered her satchel. I looked around for it, but I couldn't find it. Then I thought about the possibility of it sinking. I dove underwater to look for it, but it was too dark to see. I then remembered that she stuck a blue crystal inside the bag. It seems that crystals glow when I get near them, so I thought it might glow if I put a lot of focus on it. Luckily it worked, and I saw the bag glowing bright blue between two rocks. I grabbed it and brought it back to the boat.

By the time I got there the elf had already finished filling the boat with gas. She was sitting in the drivers seat ready to get going. I climbed into the boat and we drove away. The dream ended right about here.

      Escape Train

Me and the elf were sitting in a very large dimly lit room with a bunch of train tracks. We were in another facility again and trying to escape again. We planned to escape by train, but we needed a train first and to change the direction of the tracks. We walked through a door with a light above it. The room we walked into had a series of ladders that we needed to climb. It was kind of like if Donkey Kong was made 3D. We climbed the first ladder onto a platform. When we climbed up to it there were a few scorpions on the ground.

      "Ahh! Scorpions!" I screamed.
"What do we do?" She asked me.
"Kick them! Kick them!" I said as I stomped on one and kicked it.

Once the scorpions were dead we climbed up the second ladder.
As I climbed the second ladder I became lucid in the same way I did in the last dream.

"Ladders? Again? What the hell?" I thought out loud.
"Deal with it." The elf told me.

We climbed to the second platform and kicked a few more scorpions before climbing to the third. On the third platform there was another door with a light above it. I tried to open it, but it was locked. I was about to think of a way to pick the lock before the elf charged into it. I think it was a bit much to have to break it open, but it worked. We walked into a well lit control room. There were too large windows on each side looked over too different train stations.

"Go get the train while I guard the door." She said.
"Okay, but what levers do I pull and what buttons do I press?" I asked her.
"I don't know. Just pull all of the levers." She said kicking a scorpion.

I walked over to the left window that overlooked our train station. There seemed to be something in the way that was blurring the glass. I pressed a red button to the right of it and the blurry glass slid out of the way. I still could barely see anything though because of how dark it was in there. So I pressed another button to the right of the window and the lights in the station turned on.

"Hey! They told me lights don't work in dreams!" I said.
"Hurry up. You're wasting time." She ordered me.

I saw a rope hanging above me and I pulled down on it. A train then appeared on one of the tracks in the station. I then saw about 10 red levers below the window. I flipped them all down and as I did that the tracks started to straighten themselves out.

"I did it!" I shouted in excitement.
"Good. Now let's get out of here."
"Wait. There's something wrong." I said starting to get a horrid feeling.
"What did you do this time?" She asked me.
"It feels like there's something down there..." I said trying to find it through the windows.
"Just go already." She ordered me.

We ran past the scorpions and jumped straight down the ground floor. When we walked out the door into the station we were both shocked by what we saw. There was some sort of monster in the station. It was 7 feet tall, had purple flesh, and a sword like claw on each hand. He took a couple of steps towards us and licked the blood off his blade. We took a couple steps back in terror of what we were seeing.

"Look out!" She yelled as he lunged towards us.

He tried to swipe us both with his two blades, but we both rolled out of the way. Although I really really really didn't want to fight this thing, I morphed into a black dragon.

"Get to the train!" I told her as I lunged at the monster.

I gripped with my back claws and started shredding it with my front claws and teeth. The elf then tried running past the monster towards the train. The monster quickly knocked me off of him and turned towards the elf as she ran by. He motioned to take a swipe at her and I slowed down time. I quickly ran between them and attempted to block the attack with arm. The good news was he wasn't able to slice off her head. The bad news is cut my arm really bad and it hurt. I fell to the floor as the elf stood at the back of the train. As the monster was about to take a final stab at me the elf fired a lightning bolt at it. I got up and ran towards the train as fast as I could while the monster chased after me. Once I got inside she pressed a button that closed a strong metalic door. The last thing I remember before waking up was the monster banging on the door, but failing to break it down.

      Escape Plane

I can't remember the whole dream. I was on a plane trying to escape again from I don't know what. The seats were oddly arranged like a movie theater and there were a lot of fancy people on board. Then I saw two men and a woman from the back row run towards the cockpit. It looked pretty suspicious to me, so I followed them. When I ran in, the two men had their guns pointed at the pilots. I became lucid at this moment. The woman noticed me and pointed her gun at me.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked.
"What does it look like? We're hijacking this plane!" She told me.
      "Why?" I asked.
"Because we're terrorists! That's what we do!" She said.

I was about to ask her another question, but she was getting a bit annoyed with me and shot me in the head.
The next thing I know, I'm sitting back in same seat I was before. The only difference now was that I seemed to be the only passenger.

"Woah, weird lucid day dream." I thought to myself.
      "Waaaiiit a minute...
I wasn't day dreaming! That was a real dream! And this is still a dream!" I yelled out loud.

I then got curious about where everyone was and walked into the cockpit. The terrorists were there again and the two men in the group were trying to fly the plane.

"Hello again." The woman said to me.
"Where are the pilots...?" I asked loking around.
"Over there." She said pointing her gun at two dead bodies in the corner.
"Oh jeez..." I said looking at the bodies.

I walked over to the two men flying the plane. They were doing a pretty crappy job. The radar showed that we were approaching the landing zone.

"There's no way you can land this thing without crashing it." I told them.
"Just wait and see!" She said.
"We're starting to descend." One of the men said.

I walked back into the passenger area and sat down. I tried thinking of a way for me to survive this situation. The only reasonable thing I could come up with was jump out. I saw the emergency exit door and opened it. I waited until we were very close to the ground before I jumped out. I did a roll when I hit the ground in an attempt to lessen the damage on me. Hitting a road at over 100mph is still gonna hurt though and I flew all over the place like a ragdoll. When I finally came to a stop I was on my back. I looked over to see the plane crash into another plane on the ground and explode.

"Holy crap! This freaking hurts!" I yelled before I woke up.

    9. 1 Lucid, 3 Dreams (December 18, 2011)

by , 12-20-2011 at 03:48 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)

I had a dream character appear as a buddy in all my dreams. I don't think he ever said his name, but I named him Chris and he responded to it.

      Nightmare Tunnel

I was running through some place we called a "nightmare tunnel" with a dream buddy. The walls of the tunnel were odd swirling shades of yellow. We were running along a bridge/platform from zombies. A trap door then opened in our path and I fell in. I was in a dark room now and I walked down the hall towards the light.

Now I was in an arena like room with high walls that prevented me from getting back to Chris. Suddenly vents opened and thousands of spiders poured out of them.
As they surrounded me I suddenly realized that if it was a "nightmare tunnel" then that means I'm in a dream. I slowed down time and did a high jump before they could start crawling on me. While I was in the air a few of them tried jumping at me from the walls. I teleported out of the way to a wall with out spiders and then leaped over the arena to get out.

I found myself alongside Chris again and now running from zombies, ghosts, swordsmen, and spiders. The bridge suddenly ended and below was just a bottomless pit. Chris turned around to face the monsters and prepared to fight them. I decided to take the easy way out and push him off the bridge. I then jumped down into the pit myself.

I saw a bright flash of light and I found myself laying in a field. I got up off the ground and found Chris. I explained to him that it was a dream and we could do anything. So we both got the idea to play around with the low gravity. We did a few jumps and flips before quickly becoming bored with that.

"There's nothing to do in this field." Chris said.
"Sure there is!" I said as I summoned a slinky.
"What are you going to do with that?" He asked.
      "You'll see."

I placed it between my hands and then magically expanded it to the size of a house. We then jumped on top of the slinky and I made it fly high in the air. I then added some spins and spirals to the flight to make it fun. Once we got past the clouds I decided to let the slinky fall and jump off. I was now happily free falling through the sky. I completely forgot about the landing part though and I hit the ground hard. I immediately got right back up full of energy.

"Ouch, that hurt a little." I said with my hand over my side.
"You just fell 1000 feet and you're okay with that?" Chris asked me surprised.
"Ha ha, if this was real life that would be a broken rib." I said laughing.

Sadly the dream started to fade away at this point. More things may have happened, but I can't remember.

      A Grim Future

I was inside an old rundown building. It was abandoned and looked like no one had lived there in years. Chris from the last dream was by my side again and was exploring with me. As we moved around the house I started to notice that it looked a lot like my home. We were on the second floor but didn't find anything interesting. I fallowed Chris down the stairs and into one of the larger rooms. I recognized it as my living room and realized that it was my home. I then shined my flash light near the couch. In the light I saw the two dead bodies of my parents.

"What the hell is happening here?" I thought out loud.
"You time traveled, remember?" Chris answered.
"How far did I go?" I asked him.
"About a few years I think." He said.

Through out the house I found more dead bodies of family members. I also found several animal bodies of pets I've had through my life. I woke up shortly after.

      The Honor Code

I was in the living room of a very nice house. That's all I can really it say, it was fancified. I found Chris sleeping on the floor.

"Chris, get off the floor." I said.
"I was sleeping" He said annoyed.
"Look outside." I said while pointing to the window.

We walked to the window and looked outside. The ground was covered in a thick layer of snow and there were gray clouds covering the sky. We looked to see a caravan sinking into a pond and a many people drowning. Medieval soldiers soon arrived and worked hard to get them out of the water.

"Shouldn't we go help them?" I asked.
"Not unless we're in the army." He said.
"Seriously? We can't help people unless we're soldiers?" I asked in disappointment.
"I heard they're offering a 3 day trial period. That should be long enough for us." He said.
"Well then let's go!" I said excitedly.

I turned away from the window and saw a man of about my age in the living room. Looking at his clothes I could tell he was associated with the military but only a squire. He was messing with a few statues and antiques in the room.

"Can I help you?" I asked him.

I startled him and he dropped the small vase he was holding. We both looked at it as it fell to the ground and shattered. He looked up and smiled sheepishly.

"It's not mine but you're paying for it." I told the squire.
"I was sent to help you find the barracks." He said.
"Okay..." I said expecting him to explain more.
"We must go there for you to sign the honor code." Chris explained.
      "Lead the way." I said.

We walked outside into the snowy weather and the squire pulled out a map. I tried reading it, but I couldn't make sense out of it. He pointed down the road leading to the village and we followed him. Unfortunately the dream kind of skipped straight past the village and into the barracks.

The squire pulled a golden tablet out from a desk drawer. He motioned me forward and handed me a quill. He started rambling a bunch of nonsense that I kind of ignored until he mentioned magic.

"This golden tablet is the honor code. It is magical device that will decide if you're with or with out honor. Just sign right here." He instructed me.

I took the quill and signed the tablet, but it was more like random scribbles. I then stepped aside so Chris could sign. Neither of us blew up or anything so I figured we passed. The squire then scribbled something on a scroll and said we passed.

The next thing I know I'm at a fair with rides and stuff in chainmail armor. I knew my job was to watch for crime and keep peace at the event. Despite this, I walked up and down the street trying to find Chris.

"Chris! Where are you?!" I shouted into the crowd of people.
"Right here." He said as he walked up to me.
"Where the hell did you go?" I asked.
      "Rollercoaster." He replied.
"I see you also got cotton candy..." I said staring at the bag of pink fluff strapped to his side.
      "Want some?" He asked.
      "Yup!" I said happily.

So we spent the rest of the dream just sitting on a bench and eating cotton candy. As with all cotton candy, it was tasty.

It was a bright sunny day and I was riding a rubber raft in the ocean. My sister and a weasel were also in the raft with me. I saw Chris in the water working hard to push the raft.

"Why did we bring a weasel?" I asked Chris.
      "New dream law." He said.
"And it's a law because...?" I asked confused.
"There's been a lot of dragon sightings around here lately. Everyone is now ordered to have a weasel at sea. It will protect us from the dragon." He explained to me.

I then saw a large white dragon leap out of the water nearby. It wasn't aggressive and it swam away. I noticed that me and my sister were wearing colorful electronic knee and elbow pads. I read the screen on my elbow pad (impossible in real life) and it showed 1000 points. I figured this referred to power points and could be used for defensive abilities and magical attacks. I placed my elbow on my sister's knee and gave her half of my points to add to her defenses. Thanks to our training from the last dream, me and Chris knew much more about fighting dragons than her and I was worried that the dragon could still attack. It appeared a few times, but luckily we never got in a fight.

We started to approach an island with slides and swing sets. It looked exactly like the playground I usually visit in dreams except it was surrounded by water and sandy. We got off the raft and stepped onto the beach. Unfortunately Chris said he had more rafts to deliver. The whole island was essentially the playing field of a game. There were many children there wearing colored knee and elbow pads like us. I noticed many of my family members sitting on the beach, but I didn't bother to greet them. I kid then ran by me at a super speed and smacked my elbow with his elbow.

      "Ha Ha!" he taunted.
"Fricking pointjacker!" I yelled at him.

He had taken 35 points or so from me. I couldn't ask my sister for any of my points back because I felt that would be dishonorable. I also knew she would need them more because these guys were hardcore. I wasn't interested in taking power points from other kids either as that was like stealing money to me. I just wanted to play around like I usually do on the playground.

I saw a wooden toy intended for climbing on past the swing sets. As I walked over there I stayed close to the swing sets where these gamers were too busy swinging. I got too close though and took a foot to the face and fell to the ground. I turned onto my back and saw a fat kid get off the swing in front of me. I stood up to face him eye to eye (sadly I was a foot shorter in this dream). It was the kid that accidentally kicked me in the face.

"You tryin' to steal my points?" He said in an attempt to intimidate me.
      "No." I said firmly.
"I thinks you are." He said smugly.
      "Just passing by." I said.

I had already started walking towards the wooden toy again before he could get out another word. I wasn't in the mood for dealing people like him. So I started climbing multiple platforms and layers inside the structure. I stopped when I heard footsteps coming from the ground below me. I snuck to a position where I could remain hidden and observe. I saw the same kid from before wandering around below trying to find me. I jumped down and tackled him to the ground. I held him down until I had absorbed all of his power points.

"Please go away now." I said irritated.
"Mommy!!!" He cried and ran off.
      "Finally." I said to myself.

I walked over to my family sitting on the beach and just looked out into the ocean. The dream faded away after this.

Chris seems to be a much better dream character than most. He just makes things more fun. Unfortunately I didn't take his hints that I was dreaming. I hope to see him in more of my dreams.

      Arrow to the Knee

It was the middle of the night and there was a full moon surrounded with a yellow haze. The first thing I can remember was being an ant and I was being chased. I was being chased by another larger ant who was pissed about something I did. I ran through the jungle like environment of the grass field. I felt compelled to follow the direction of the yellow moon. I eventually came across an ant size house and recognized it as home. I ran inside and locked the door to keep the other ant away.

Suddenly I was human again, but didn't take any notice to the change. I looked up and saw my mother and another man standing next to her.
"Who the hell are you?" I asked the man confused.
"I'm your step father. Don't you remember?" He explained.
      "I don't have a step father." I said.

We continued to argue it for a little while. Somewhere along the way we got mad at each other and both pulled out bows and arrows. We then ran around the house shooting each other, but mostly missing. I used to be a dreamer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee. In other words, he shot me in the knee and I woke up.

I was in my grandma's living room with my sister and we were just standing around doing nothing. Then I felt the urge to look towards the hallway. On the ceiling I noticed a large black scorpion slowly lowering itself from a string of web. I jumped back shocked because there aren't supposed to be scorpions in Ohio and I don't like them. I sprinted through the hallway to find my grandmother. When I found her she was in the kitchen standing at the sink and making a salad.
"There's a really freaking huge scorpion over there!" I yelled to her.
      "Scorpion?" She said confused.
      "Waaaaiiit! I forgot my sister!"

I ran back down the hallway and had to duck real low because the scorpion was half way down to the floor already. When I got to the living room, I didn't have to say anything to get her to follow me. As I ran back to the kitchen I saw my grandma with a huge bucket of water. She placed it in the hallway and then grabbed a hose connected to the sink. It seemed that she was prepared.

The scorpion had lowered itself to the ground and multiple baby scorpions came from behind it. The larger scorpion charged first and tried to leap over the bucket of water. My grandma shot it with the hose and knocked the scorpion into the bucket. She then continued to spray it and kick the bucket over like a boss.

Many baby scorpions then swarmed around the bucket as they were sprayed with water. A small red scorpion managed to sneak by onto a shelf to my right. It jumped onto me and stung my arm. I grabbed it and smashed it against the counter. I started to feel a severe burning where I was stung, but I could only ignore it. I then took a glass full of water and started splashing the scorpions with it. It was surprisingly effective.

When all the scorpions were dead we all sat down at the table to rest. "Anyone get stung?" I asked. I looked at them and noticed they had stingers straight through their hands. I then brought my hand to my face and saw at least 7 long green stingers piercing through my right hand. I rested my hand on the table and made a plan to pull the stingers out. My hand was starting to shake and burn from the poison and it felt horrible. I managed to pull one of the two needles out of my index finger. It was too painful for me to continue and I woke up.

      You Drive

It was the middle of the day and I was driving an awesome looking yellow car. My dad was sitting in the passenger seat and instructing me. Suddenly the car started picking up speed beyond my control. We were roaring through the city at impossible speeds and I struggled to avoid running into everything. It was at this moment that I suddenly remembered I hate driving and told my dad to drive. So we somehow managed to switch seats while moving at 300mph. Then my dad decided that I should be the one driving and we switched seats again. We kept switching back and forth a few more times until it was actually funny. As I was driving, a giant wave of water came pouring through the city. I motioned to try to steer away from it, but it was too late. The wave smashed through the windshield and the force of it snapped my neck. Needless to say, I died and woke up.

      Booster Shots

So I was just riding along on a school bus and everything was fairly normal. Then a man in the front got out of his seat and announced that it was booster shot day. So everyone including me got in a line. I'm not afraid of needles so I had nothing to worry about. Then I saw the man give the kid in front of me a shot through the anal wall. He then motioned me to come forward, but I slowly stepped back.
"Now don't make this any harder than it needs to be." he said as he move closer.
"That's not how you give a booster shot!" I yelled at him as I moved further away.
"Kid, I don't have time for this." He said losing his patience.

I took the shot away from him and ran to the back of the bus. I started swinging it through the air like a knife or sword. "Stay back! Don't come any closer!" I said defensively. I then saw the bus driver turn his head and look at me. Shockingly it was an alien head. The aliens head then stretched all the way in front of me as he was still driving.
"What seems to be the problem here?" he asked me.
"He wants to stick a needle up my ass!" I shouted, as I pointed to the man.
"Well then let him." He said calmly.
      "Hell no!" I exclaimed.

I then stood behind the stone column in the back of the bus. I started swinging my needle around defensively as they moved in closer. Luckily I woke up before anything bad happened.

Sometimes I wonder why I insist on living when I'm in the dream world.

      Drawing Practice

It was a false awakening and I had emerged from my parents' bedroom in the afternoon. I was planning on going downstairs into the living room to draw pictures. On my way a woman in an assassin's clothing kicked open the bathroom door and ran down stairs. Although it was never mentioned, I can only refer to her as a goddess. I continued to walk down the stairs and went into the living room. In there the goddess from before was throwing daggers at another goddess wearing white robes. Despite the daggers and light magic flying all over the room, I made my way to the couch where my notebook was. As I was about to start drawing, the white goddess threw the dark one onto my table and it exploded. I then decided to move to the kitchen where I could draw in peace. I drew multiple small objects and then a sketch of a picture of a war general. The picture didn't look like anything fancy or describable. I think the battle managed to find its way into the kitchen and woke me up.

      Slap Me Awake

This dream was a short false awakening and a nightmare. It was the middle of the night/early morning and I had awakened to a man jumping into my bed. He got on top of me and held me down. He started slapping me and punching me while speaking insane gibberish. I woke up after about 20 hits or so.

      Slap Me Awake II

Same deal as the last dream. A man in dark clothing jumped on top of me as I was sleeping and beat the crap out of me. After just a few hits I suddenly remembered it happening before and became lucid. At this point I took a little more control over the situation and tried pushing the man away. I managed to keep him far way enough so he couldn't attack me. I tried to handle it subtlety by trying to make him dissapear. When I attempted this he gave me a wide eyed stare that seemed to pierce through me. His eyes seemed to be saying "I'm not going anywhere." Between his horrifying stare and the shock of my dream control not working I woke up.

For a few seconds I was in a state of fear after waking. Fear quickly turned into anger because I had allowed it to succeed twice. As I was falling asleep again, I wanted it to try scaring me again.

Slap Me Awake III: The Revenge

It was the same as the last time. Creepy man jumped in my bed and started to attack me. He only got in a couple hits this time before I became lucid once more. This time I decided to do it the old way. I pushed him away from me and kicked him off of my bed and onto the floor. I knelt down, gripped him by the chest, and threw him straight through my bedroom wall. I then opened my bedroom door and walked over towards his body. As he tried to get up, I jumped on top of him and started punching him as he did to me. I then dragged his nearly unconscious body back into my room. Thanks to dream physics, I was able to cram his whole body into my dresser drawer. I woke up shortly after. I had woken up happy and almost laughing at my triumph. Nightmare conquered.

      Horse Racing Peter Griffon

It was a pretty short and blurry dream. In the dream I was a black pony on top of a brown horse (big difference). To the left of me was Peter Griffon on top of a similar looking horse. That funny race music started to play and a gun shot went off. I don't really remember much of the race except that I barely won. I tried to a give a thumbs up but then I realized pony's don't have thumbs. Sadly they only have hooves.

      Horrible Shoes

Yet another false awakening. I came out of my grandma's bedroom in the middle of the day this time. I sat down with my family to watch some show on tv. In the show there were 3 detectives or police officers and they were discussing a crime. All of the sudden Man 1 took a notice to Man 2's shoes. He said they looked horrible even though they weren't that bad. Then Man 3 pulled out his revolver and shot Man 2 in the foot. Crime against fashion? I was then asked if I wanted to go to Walmart. I didn't have anything better to do, so I agreed. I woke up before I even got out the door though.

    12. Dark Magic in the Park and Fragment (May 1, 2011, Dream 1)

by , 05-03-2011 at 03:33 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      General Text Dream Lucid Awake

I could remember 3 dreams and 1 fragment this night. My dreams also didn't skip around scenes that much. Sadly the the first one is kind of a nightmare. I can at least laugh at it a little now though.

      Dark Magic in the Park

The first dream of the night started with me standing on the sidewalk. In front of me was a large metal gate to the park. The dream started out pretty peaceful and normal (if you can call it that). I walked through the gate and I noticed a rhino and a lion standing at the side of the gate. "Hi Bull. Hi Tigger." I said to them casually. "Have fun at the park!" Bull told me.

The park was mostly just a large open area of grass. There were also some trees, a few benches, some people, and a lot of squirrels running around. As I walked into the center of the park, I noticed a small hill with stone steps leading up to the top. When I reached the top of the hill, I saw quite a few people in red ceremonial robes, making a circle around a large rock. I think there were about 8-10 of them. As I approached them, they sensed my presence, and one man shouted, "Quick! Cast the spell now!"

The sky dimmed a little, the rock started to glow, and I can only describe the feeling of it as evil. I ran back and ducked down behind the hill. There was a Japanese lady hiding behind the hill too. She was trying to protect a little girl. I realized that there were other people at the park in danger other than myself. I climbed back over the hill and yelled, "Stop the ritual!" As soon as I said this, one of the women in the group stared at me blankly. She reached out her hand towards me. She whispered, "Die..." A lightning bolt crashed down right in front of me. The blast sent me flying back to the bottom of the hill.

The wind started to pick up, I could hear thunder, and there was lightning flashing in the sky. I heard one of the women in the group scream, "It's too powerful!" Another woman shouted, "We lost control of the spell!" I got back up and looked back over the hill again. "Uh oh..." Said one of the men in the group. I think I even heard one say, "lol wut?" I saw another flash in the sky and I made time slow down. A lightning bolt was slowly coming down right at the stone. I dived back down over the hill. I then heard an explosion fallowed by screams. So now the cultists were dead and they left us with storm of chaos. I looked back at the lady and little girl from earlier, but a orange lightning bolt hit the lady. She was able to protect the little girl, but she was erased from existance. I then decided to grab the girl and get away from the park.

I started to run to the other side of the park, but orange lightning bolts were landing behind me and creating mini nuclear explosions. "Faster! Faster!" I started to say to myself to boost speed. The squirrels from earlier had red eyes now, and they started to bite at my legs. "Ow! Ow! Damn it! Ouch!" I continued to run though and then they were all killed by lightning bolt. This made me pick up speed and scream like a girl... "Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!" I approached the gate, but Bull and Tigger had red eyes and blocked my exit. "BULL!" (lol dream pun?) Even though there was a rhino and an oversized lion blocking the way I ran towards them anyways. I don't remember what happened from that point on.

I was standing on the street with another Japanese woman. She was a news reporter, and I was told she was deaf. Although I was told she was deaf, in the dream I couldn't hear anything. She started to interview me. I was somehow able to guess what she was saying even though I was deaf. Sadly she was speaking Japanese and it was too fast for me to translate.

I remember waking up after the fragment. I rolled over and wrote down a few notes about the dream in my journal. Thinking about the dream and the fragment started to confuse me so I just went back to sleep.

      My Thoughts on this Dream

Ok so the rhino's name was Bull and the lion's name was Tigger? I guess those can be linked somehow...

What can we learn from this? Lightning and explosions hurt, little furry creatures can never be trusted, and evil cultists are stupid.

A question also just came to mind. How did the cultists get away with dark magic, in a public park, and in the middle of the day?

    13. First Lucid (7 Years Old, Dream Chain)

I decided to go ahead and put my first lucid dream into my dream journal. I also added the dreams that led up to this lucid. These dreams happened over 3 days when I was 7 years old.

In the first dream I had, I was standing out on my school's playground. The sky started to turn red. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up at the sky. I remember there being a large cloud over us, and I think it was skull shaped. There was a sense dread and impending doom. Everyone was looking up at the sky horrified. (They looked kind of funny staring at the sky with their jaws dropped actually. ) I went back inside the school and I walked up to the library on the 3rd floor. There was another kid there staring out the window with a book. I asked, "Why is the sky red?" He responded dramatically, "The world coming to an end!"

I woke up shortly after that. I thought this dream was kind of weird and creepy, but I didn't pay much attention to it until the next day.

In the second dream, it was a continuation from the last dream, but it took place on the day after the sky turned red. The sky was still red this day with the large cloud in the sky. I started my dream in front of my school. I didn't see anyone around the school or on the playground, so I went inside thinking that I was late. I entered a hallway, but it was dark, empty, and a mess inside. There was still no one in sight, no noise, and no sign of life. Desks and chairs were knocked over in the hallway, there was rubble on the floor, the wall was half destroyed, and the floor was cracked. At this point I was really starting to feal fear because I felt like the last guy in the world, I was scared of whatever destroyed everything, and I remembered the kid from the last dream saying that the world was coming to an end. Despite my fear, I continued down the hallway to find my classroom.

My dream ended and I woke up right before I would have entered my classroom. This dream felt more realistic than the last one and it was scarier for me. I even watched the sky half of the day wondering if it would turn red.

The third and final dream continued right about where the last one left off. It started with me sitting in the dark room at my desk. There was still no living thing in sight. I again started to wonder where everyone was for a few seconds. As I was thinking about this, the lights flashed on and all my classmates and my teacher seemed to flash into view with the light. They just walked around the room and worked on a project as if they had been there the whole time. I got up from my desk and asked my teacher, "Where did everyone go?" Everyone just turned and glared at me with angry expressions on there face. As they focused on me, their eyes started to glow red. In my mind all I could think was they wanted to chase me and kill me. And of course, they started to chase me out the door.

I ran back out into the hallway and then out to the playground. As I ran up the hill on the playground, I stared up at the sky and noticed it was still red and had the large cloud. I remembered this from the past 2 dreams and said to myself, "Wait! I'm dreaming!" I stopped at the top of the hill and turned to face the mob. I wanted to wake myself up before the mob could get to the top of the hill. Without giving it much thought, I started screaming, "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" As I said this, pictured my real body hidden behind the red sky until I could feel it. I then tried to kick my legs and lift my arms. This required a lot of effort though. As I tried to lift my arms and legs, it felt like someone was pulling them back down. When the mob was about half way up the hill, the dream faded away.

My eyes opened and I was punching and kicking the air with ease. I was sweating and my heart was racing, but I knew I was now sitting safely in bed. I soon got really excited after that because I never had a dream where I knew I was dreaming before. As I started to get more dreams like this, I called them "super dreams" because it felt like a different side of me took over and played as a super hero. They were mostly triggered by nightmares, and this new part of me was like a self defense mechanism against nightmares. It wasn't until I was 13 that I learned there was a name for these dreams and they didn't have to be related to nightmares.

      My Thoughts on these Dreams

Aside from the apocalypse aspect of it, that was awesome! A couple "super dreams" later, and I learned that I didn't have to run from nightmares. I could fight them! Always felt awesome. This is one of my favorite dream chains even though it was a continuous nightmare.

I think the reason why whenever I try to wake myself up and something pulls me down is because of sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis isn't my best friend when trying to get away from a mob.
