    Land of Crossroads and Memories

This is a land where many of my memories have come down multiple crossroads, contorting with each other and posing utter confusion at times when traversing through.

    1. Angry Manager

I've forgotten most of it, but I do know that my family and I were at a small store. At first, we were all looking around at the many items and food to purchase. No one was at the counter, so when my little brothers started messing with the stuff on the shelves, trouble ensued. Vanilla ice cream was everywhere. After several moments of messing around, the owner comes in... He flew into a rage! We all ran out back, except for my older brother. I went in to try and help him, but it looked like he had the situation under control. He strangled the man on the ground after he was kicking his feet violently, and then he stopped moving.

I think he died, but it was for the best. He would've killed us all, but it was thanks to my brother who faced the tyrant and brought him down. The dream faded, and I thought it was all weird.

    2. "1972, baby!"

by , 09-01-2011 at 04:51 PM (Land of Crossroads and Memories)
The first dream I had was really short from what I can remember. I was sitting in a mech, and I was getting a feel for the controls. Suddenly, I heard a beeping sound. I looked around, and then I woke up to look at my alarm clock... It was going off. A little later, I thought I should take the opportunity to try out another WILD attempt, but I somewhat fell asleep through it. I was at a relative's house, and in the computer room I remember seeing my bass guitar and my brother's guitar sitting in there. In the living room, a movie preview on some sort of sci-fi channel was playing, about a guy who was pleading innocent for something and showed a thin layer of his skin being pulled off. His teeth were perfectly straight, too.

I then was looking at YouTube comments on my phone, and there was some text in the comments telling me that I was dreaming. I text the guy back, asking how this could be a dream. His reason was very simple, saying "1972, baby!" He then proceeded to type in "Hahahahahaha!" and I did as well. I got too excited and woke up, and not even staying still could get me back in the dream. I need to relax more.
    3. Taking trash out & WILD attempt

by , 08-31-2011 at 06:56 PM (Land of Crossroads and Memories)
The first dream I remember having was that I was scrambling to take the trash out since the dump truck was on our street, currently picking up our neighbors' to the left of my house. I put them out, and I think my dad's car was backing up by the side of the road. I couldn't see the driver, and the rest of the dream I can't remember or it ended there. A little bit later after eating breakfast, I went back to bed to see if I could have an accomplished WILD. It wasn't my first time trying, so I pretty much knew the drill. After awhile, I was 'watching' a dream about myself in the past, about three years ago or something like that. My age wasn't any younger, and I was inspecting some of my dad's tools that he used to have, one of them being a black flashlight. I said something like "Dad, I remember you having this flashlight." It was dark throughout the house (the location being my current home and in my little brother's room), and he needed some light shone on something.

Across from the room occupied by us, one of my brothers woke up and looked at us, to which I told him "Go back to sleep, this is a few years ago, and you were only a baby at that time." I understood that I was watching this dream, so I tried entering it... I got too excited and woke up... I have a problem with getting too excited (happens every time I attempt a WILD), and I need to figure out a way to remain calm.

    4. Dizziness and Stairs

by , 08-30-2011 at 01:31 AM (Land of Crossroads and Memories)
This is a bit of a late entry, albeit my first dream journal entry, but nevertheless I remember some of my dream. I mainly remember traversing around the upstairs portion of a mix between my high school and college, it's main feature being a wide set of stairs that goes down to the first floor. I suddenly felt dizzy near the staircase and fell on my knees, just a few inches away from the stairs. I looked up and saw one of my previous teachers -- my Digital Electronics teacher -- and said hi to him. I had the knowledge of myself graduating, so my teacher looked a bit surprised to see me. He was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt and had khaki pants accompanied with black shoes; I then went forward and proceeded down the stairs, tumbling to the bottom...

... I then questioned the fact of not feeling any pain. At the bottom, I realized I was dreaming, but I hadn't reacted quick enough to my fading scenery. Upon waking up, I had done no attempt at a DEILD or a WILD, for the thought of doing so didn't cross my mind. In order to have stayed in my dream, I could've rubbed my hands together, or I could've stayed perfectly still when I awoke, in order to possibly enter the dream again. I didn't, though, but I must be wary of the options in the future.
