Side Notes
The night before I decided to wake up at four in the morning without an alarm, basically just to see if I can. I told myself I would wake up at four a few times before falling asleep. I woke up during the night and was completely awake. I was surprised at how easy it was. I decided to try some meditation exercise lying down. I got started for maybe a couple of minutes and drifted back to sleep. I didn't remember the dreams from the second period of sleep, but remembered those from the first pretty well. I didn't check the time when I woke up, so I don't know if it actually was four in the morning. Tonight I did the same. I woke up at four without any problem. I checked that I didn't feel sleepy. Then I just drifted to sleep. The dreams from tonight are scattered and I only remember images and ideas, nothing I can put into words. I'm certainly going to do the same tonight. I probably should get up when I wake up. I also need to check the time.
Still not much luck with recalling the dreams. However there is something I remember very well. Yesterday I emptied the trash but didn’t replace the bag. I remember seeing it replaced in a dream. In the dream I notice the bag and think that somebody else must have replaced it. In the morning I noticed that nobody had.

Another night with little or hazy memories. I had the feeling there was at least one dream with a consistent story buried there somewhere, but couldn't find a way to reach it. There was something about dreams, trying to find a technique that works with four or five test subjects.
I didn't remember any of my dreams in the morning. During the night I remember waking up and recalling something like a dream state but no story, just thoughts and assosiated images. No dreams After my meditation I did a short lying meditation and had some floating and flowing sensations.
