Nice and vivid dreams but no lucidity!

I'm looking out a window in my house (not my house IRL), theres a courtyard. Some police are checking out the neighbours and stuff. I keep really quiet but the next thing I know, the police are in my house and taping off an area. I turn and walk down a brightly lit corridor with an old school friend. He says to me 'Time for a fag I think' and lights up. We end up somewhere with lots of water but I forget.

Going to a birthday party for an old friend. Me and the wife stand at the door. I unroll a huge scroll. There are the details for the party on it. A couple of other people I know are on the invite but aren't with us. We go in. I'm suddenly carrying a huge big rusty black metal thing. The place looks like a gym hall. Theres a huge wooden bench down the wall, lots of people are sitting. I place the metal thing down and my wife sits. I pick up my son who is suddenly present and carry him through the hall. We end up in a cramped area. A lad I vaguely know is away to go through a glass door to a bar. He sees me and tells me hes a policeman now. His face is very lumpy. My son has now become a wee white puppy which starts to lick my face. Suddenly, I turn, my cousin is standing there in a kilt. He shakes my hand. We stand facing each other looking at each other for perhaps 30 seconds. I reckon the sheer boredom of the situation makes me wake up!!
