non-lucid

I just remembered a short bit from a dream. I started a new game of Age of Empires, but instead of the normal game mode, it was something different. I started with no Town Center, 2 castles, 7 or 8 villagers, and a couple military units. I started making some units at a castle (war elephants I think), but I got distracted from the game for a moment. When I came back, the computer player was sending a bunch of troops and siege weapons, and overran me. I started a new game, and this time I started out with a bunch more military units. I was dealing with so much at once that I didn't get my villagers working right away, but I was still getting resources from something (I forget what). The computer arrived with a small army, and I sent out my troops but he killed most of them. What happened beyond that is foggy at best, but I believe it went into a totally different scenario/different dream.

Fairly short dream, but more than a fragment.

I was standing in the backyard of D's house, but it looked a little more like mine. We were talking, and he told me that he had a family hunting trip coming up soon (like they were going to go camping and hunt from there, or something). He said that he was dreading having to go, because he didn't like hunting. I remember saying something about he just had to learn to get over being bothered by it (not like me). by the side of the house next to the fence there was, appropriately, some dead small animal, and these really big bugs were buzzing around it. One in particular made a really loud strange buzzing noise. This bothered me because I had no clue what they were, so I walked towards the back of the house, and D followed. I said that I thought that hunting would be better if you used a bow instead of a gun (referring to the simple medieval-style bow, not the high-tech ones they have today). After that I remember we saw one of his cats (a black cat, though neither of his are black) lying on the small fishing boat (flipped over, aluminum flat-bottom, which would have been in my backyard); I went over to pet it, and I noticed a sprinkler was running behind the boat. That's the last I remember.

I remember this dream well, but no fragments. Clarity was average.

From where I remember, I was flying above a freeway in a small military aircraft (couldn't really determine at this point if it was a helicopter or a fighter), With some low clouds below us. There was a hostile fighter flying alongside us and I was taking potshots at it with a a handgun, through a small window on either side that slid open. When that ran out, I opened a small hatch in the floor and sat down in a lowered area to man a nose-mounted minigun (It was definitely a helicopter at this point). We flew very low, following the freeway. At this point another helicopter was after us, so I did my best to keep him off us with the minigun. After a while, when things looked clear for a moment, there was up ahead of us one of those metal frame things that go across the freeway to hold signs. There was an explosion past it, and the other helicopter was now flying over the highway coming towards us. He was pulling up to go over the signs, so my pilot told me to hang on and went UNDER the sign. Just down the road were two trucks, one small and one bigger, loaded with machine guns. I strafed them with the minigun, and we continued ahead. As we continued the area became more and more heavily forested, and after a moment we had arrived at a clearing in the woods where we landed and met up with some ground troops. I don't really remember anything after this point.
