D1: Went out to eat w/ Ellen Degeneres & Portia & later went to a bar. Nothing exciting.
wbtb
D2: Mike & I were spending the evening back at Ellen's place & they wanted to watch football & Mike wasn't excited about this. Their dogs, cats & weird other animal were there. They looked like some science experiment went a wry. I had to find the remote in the cushions & ended up finding a bunch of old dry dog shit & some other old food & crumbs so I had to go wash my hands. It also smelled which made me choke on the smell & grossness but we all just laughed it off. Mike wants to leave cuz he's bored to death & it's turning into more of a pajama party for girls. Us girls were laying on this great big couch & grand ottoman which makes it into what looks like a big bed. As we are leaving we have to go down a bunch of steps & there is a lot of foliage, a guy who looks like an alcoholic homeless person asks Mike if he is here to mow the lawn. I'm having to pull Mike along because he is pissed off at the guy. Next a bunch of trash whore like women are throwing stuff at us from the balconies of the apartment complex that we are at. I get up the woman's face & push her & threaten to kick her ass because she is assaulting us. I go back up to Ellen's apartment & now there are more of these trashy ppl who are suddenly there hanging out w/ her & Portia. My alarm went off & I get woke up.
wbtb
D3: I was w/ s guys & 1 woman. We are coming up the steps & into an apartment. The guy who goes in first is the brother of the other guy. Suddenly there is a sound & the guy who went in first & had gone into a closet. His brother says "He went out the back of the closet!" And we are like "what?" And he says I know he did cuz I heard him run into my guitar. Then the dream changes & they guy now w/ us is out w/ his pet shark out in a cove. All of this dream was so bizarre & made no sense to me so I just can't explain it.

I was in a college campus doing parkour and ran to a large apartment complex. There was a pretty woman playing with a ball. We talked and that's all I can remember.

Dream 1 : I'm walking with a girl to an apartment complex and I was trying to avoid some guys but she didn't want that so we went straight. The guys stare at us and I feel very uncomfortable. We get into the apartment complex and the guys are sitting on the stairs. I go upstairs looking straight and I manage to do it without any problems. The girl gets stuck and the guys try to rape her but I run to her and save her then we run upstairs. I get out a katana (god knows from where) and I keep the girl in the back while I hold the katana close to their necks. The "leader" says that if I don't give them the girl they're going to find me later and kill me. I tell them that they can't possibly kill me. They say "challenge accepted" and then they fly away.I'm suddenly on the street that is in front of my apartment. I see people trying to kidnap her but I protect her and then we run fastly into my apartment. The girl disappears but I don't seem to care. I look outside the window, it's night and there is a guy in a tree looking straight at me(He had red eyes). I get really scared and I run into the bathroom. I start to cry and bang my head against walls, I beg to wake up. I stay still for like 3 seconds and I said: Wait, wake up? Is this a dream?! I do the "count the fingers" RC and it works so that confirms me I'm dreaming. I walk out the bathroom and I go in the apartment complex's hall. I stabilize there and I tell myself that I shouldn't wake up. The dream ends and I wake up.
Dream 2(fragment):All I remember is that I was walking down a street and I was amazed by the dream's vividness. I kept saying stuff like : Now that I'm lucid, I need to do something good in this.
4. First lucid in 2014 :D

by , 01-01-2014 at 01:48 PM
Dream 1 : (I don't know from what I got lucid)I'm in my apartment and I do some RCs and some of them don't work but the last one works(I have 6 fingers). I jump through the window and someone from inside the apartment yells : "Why did you jump?! You're going to kill yourself!"
Dream 2 : I'm in a train with a guy. The train suddenly stops and we get out of it. We're in the middle of nowhere but there's a huge pyramid like 10 meters away from us. The guy tries to repair somekind of weapon but he doesn't suceed so he just gets angry and drags me inside the pyramid. The room is really dark with the colors black and purple. There's a triangle and at the end of the lines there's one weapon. The weapons were a wand, a bow and a book. The guy picks up the book and I pick up the wand and we put them together and there is this shiny line between them. There's Kris on a bench inside the room and I yell for him to go and grab the bow. He doesn't hear because he's listening to music but I go to him and I drag him there. He stays and stares at me and that guy for like 5 seconds then he grabs the bow and then we put them together and this blue shiny portal appears. The guy with who I was in the train tells me that we need to jump in it to save Aura(?) .
Dream 3: I'm in an apartment complex with dad and there are all kinds of guys in there and dad keeps asking about my opinion on them.I go to the end of the hall and there's this guy(Dad disappeared). I ask him how old he is and he says 16. I tell him that he should pull a prank on his mom by telling her something (I don't remember what, had to do something with wine). He says ok then he knocks on the door and I run away. I sit on the stairs and wait to see how the prank goes.
Dream 4: All I remember about this is that there were maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany spiders on a high-rise building and everyone fainted.

5. Fragments: Driving Tip, Fight, Sand vs. Monster

by , 07-08-2012 at 12:32 AM
These dream fragments are not especially interesting. The monster was boring and cartoonish, but there were a few interesting elements. Once again it featured a realistic looking apartment complex.

Dream#1: I was with my GF in a wooded area. I remember she was driving some kind of Jeep. She backed out of a parking spot without looking and we narrowly avoided colliding with a black SUV driven by an older woman. I tell her: "Always look in the rear-view mirror while in reverse." I was annoyed we almost got hit but I dropped it. [She doesn't have a car in waking life --or this may have been forgotten.]

At some point shortly after this, I tell her I forgot something in my room. I don't recall what this was but I remember being worried about going to my room alone. I ran up several flights of stairs without feeling any tiredness. It felt exhilarating. I lived in a apartment complex and my room looked a bit dark. I recall grabbing a square wooden plaque, painted red, with a square gold engraved plate. Which I might have considered my cell phone?? --Things go hazy here.

In the same outdoor setting as the above fragment my GF, and we are walking down a wooded road. There are some sandy banks along the side of the roads and we are barefoot like we are heading to the beach. Oozing down the road up ahead, and heading towards us, is a beige slimy mass a little like the blob with ugly mouths and knobs that looked nose-like.

We run up the sandbars to get out of the way, and the thing changes directions to follow us. I started kicking sand onto it. It didn't seem threatened by heavy amounts of sand in its mouths and that made me start to feel nervous about being barefoot...

Dream#2: I was at a sporting event at a local gym. Not something I have done since Jr. High. I was laying on a table against the wall of the gym. (Laying on table like beds is officially a motif.) The place was packed, I don't recall what sport was being played but I recall yellow uniforms and lots of courts filled with different games. I noticed my best friend Joe making his way towards me around the crowds. I didn't react until he was about 20ft away then I jumped up to greet him.

At first things were cool. Then my GF showed him a puppy we had with us and he acted like he was going to step on it and crush it under his foot. I was outraged and lashed out. I grabbed him hard by the shirt and jacket and told him: he had no right to harm a puppy because he was in a bad mood about life. [He actually loves animals.]

6. New Apartment / Classic Doom Game / Dream Fruit (ToTM)

by , 03-20-2011 at 02:22 PM (...from the dark corners of my mind...)
DJ Log: March 20, 2011 – 7:30AM (USA Eastern)
Text color legend: · NON-DREAM · NOTES · DREAM · LUCID ·

(Note: During WBTB I was a bit hungry, so I drank a full glass of apple juice and are a PBJ sandwich. I always thought the claimed effect of these was placebo, but this may change my mind. It was extremely vivid and detailed, although I lost most of the fine details during recall and logging. ...If only I could connect a DVR to my mental image sensor...)

I am walking through the main lobby of a huge apartment building, looking for my new apartment. The main lobby is open all of the way to the fourth floor and there are large chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. As I walk down the hallway, I see that there are numbers on the doors, but they are constantly changing. I walk up a large set of stairs to the second level and walk down the hall, looking at the numbers on the doors. One side of the hall has paintings between the doors and the other side is open into the main lobby area. At the end of the hallway is a common area with a couple of chairs and a fireplace. I go up another set if stairs and arrive on the third floor. It also has a common area, but there is no fire in the fireplace. I walk down the hall, looking for my apartment.

After quite a bit of searching, I find my apartment. It has a huge main room with several smaller rooms that each have a fancy wooden door. The top half of the walls are green and the lower half is a medium wood paneling with a chair rail separating the top and bottom halves. The kitchen is very industrial looking as it is mostly stainless steel. There is a fireplace off to the side in an attached dining area. A set of double stained glass doors leads onto a large balcony that overlooks the main lobby. There is a small stairway off to the side of the balcony that leads up to the fourth floor, but the door at the top of the stairs is locked. I look through the window on the door and see that it leads into another large apartment. I turn around and go back down to my balcony.

As I come back in from the balcony, I run into a friendly middle-aged black lady that walked in from the apartment next door. She tells me that she is the apartment guide and would like to show me around the new place. She walks me all around the apartment, then shows me where the laundry room is. All of the rooms are empty except the laundry room, which has a washer and dryer in it. She sees that I don't have any furniture yet and offers me her futon to sleep for the first night. I accept her offer and follow her back to her place. I take off my shoes and sit down on her futon. She walks away for a moment, then returns with a glass of water. When I lay down, I close my eyes and transition into a different dream scene.

I an the main character in a first-person shooter game looks a lot like the classic Doom game. My health and stats are in my field of vision. I say to myself, “Wow, I'm in a video game!” I quickly become lucid and summon a keyboard so I can enter some cheat codes. I hear some shots being fired in the distance, so I enter IDKFA and my weapons repository fills up. I enter IDDQD and I feel a tingling sensation throughout my body as my health meter flashes, then expands to about three times the normal size. I select the grenade launcher and walk into the next room. There are a three characters in the room that look like the creatures from Aliens who immediately turn and start walking toward me. I fire the grenade launcher and blow one of them to pieces. I shoot the other two then run to the door on the other side of the room. I push on the door with my hand, but nothing happens. I tap the space bar on the keyboard and the door opens into another room.

This room looks like an IT closet. There are racks of servers and networking equipment all over it. I put away the grenade launcher and type something on the keyboard which morphs me into a small fly. I fly around in the room for a moment, then find a hole in the ceiling. I fly around above the ceiling tiles until I find another hole that leads me into another room. This room is very small on one side and there are cable management trays going through it. The other side of the room is about normal height and has some metal shelves against the wall. There is a fluorescent light on the ceiling that is flickering badly. I fly around the corner into another room that has a couple of empty metal shelves along one wall.

Suddenly, the door opens and a long blonde haired woman walks in. She looks straight at me and starts talking about something. Her words come out as total nonsense and I can't make out any words she is saying. Thinking it is a foreign language that I can't understand, I decide to keep exploring. I fly up into the ceiling and start looking around for another hole to fly into. Suddenly, I false-awaken back to the futon in the original dream.

I stand up from the futon and notice that I am wearing some kind of martial arts uniform. It's a thick, dark material and is formed like a sleeveless cape. It has some graphics on the front that looks like a couple of sword fighters. I look around for a bit, then reach up to rub my eyes and see that I have only 3 fingers on my right hand. This irritates me a bit, so I put my hands in my pockets, pull them out and look at them again. Now they have 4 fingers and a thumb each. I nearly lost my lucidity, but I pinch my nose and can still breathe through it, reaffirming my lucidity.

I walk out of the room into a large social area. There are several others wearing the same uniforms and they all look at me strange as I walk through to get to the bar at the other end of the room. A couple of them are practicing fighting with rubber knives. They both lunge at my throat with the rubber knives as I walk by. I extend both arms with my hands pointed upward and use telekinesis to shove them into the opposing walls as I walk between them. They both fall to the floor and quickly dissolve.

I arrive at the bar and ask the bartender for the House Special. As he mixes my drink, I look at the ceiling and see that all of the lights are off. I can barely see anything, except that there is a light switch on the bar. I flip the switch and nothing happens, so I look back at the lights and say, “Lights Now!” and a couple of the lights turn on very dimly. I repeat a couple of times and about half of the lights reach full brightness. The bartender comes back and hands me a very unusual looking drink. It's a slightly green margarita that's in a large fish bowl shaped stem glass and it has some dry ice in it. There is heavy steam bubbling out of the drink that is rolling down the glass and across the bar. I take a sip and it tastes like a green Jolly Rancher. I blow into the steam and see that there is a strawberry on a stick in the middle of the drink. I smile and remember the basic task of the month, then grab the stick and eat the strawberry. It tastes like chocolate and has a very gritty consistency. Once I swallow it, I set the stick down and look around the bar.

I look to my right and there is a younger guy who is becoming partially transparent and is looking around very nervously. A girl standing nearby tells him that he is destabilizing and he must spin if he wants to stay in the dream. He drops to the floor on his left hand and starts to push himself around in a circle with his feet, sort of like he's break dancing. After a moment, he fades back to normal and stands up again. He rubs his hands together for a bit then walks off with a smile on his face.

I finish my drink and walk back to my apartment. It appears that my furniture has showed up, but it is still in boxes and plastic overwrap. I walk back to the apartment where I slept at and look for my shoes. I find them, but the laces are untied. I try to tie them, but there are like 5 loops and at least 7 lace ends. I spend a while trying to untangle them, but the dream suddenly fades and I wake up.

When I wake up, I think to myself: What a perfect way to waste a really good lucid dream... ...tying my damn shoes...

7. Nightmare: Extremely Realistic Alternate Life

by , 03-04-2011 at 11:45 PM
The following dream I had on 5-hours sleep. This would have been my 3rd REM cycle which means this dream may have been over 45-minutes long. It was extremely, extremely, realistic. To the point that when I woke up I felt I had not been home in days or weeks. The visual quality, in complete honesty, was more vivid than real life. I say this because in real life our eyelashes block our view and veins in our eyes can make some lighting conditions slightly blurry. I have 10/20 vision so this was not a product of wearing or needing glasses or contacts.

I woke up. My long time friend Lynn was massaging my right hand as I did. She didn't look completely sober and she seemed very bleary and passionate about giving me this hand massage. I felt uneasy, because I have a jealous girlfriend and I was wondering how I let myself alone with Lynn in a room.

Sitting in the room on a chair a few feet from my bed was an earthy/hippy looking guy in his mid 20's with rusty blond hair and beard. Lynn was saying something to me about working my energies or something. She eventually got off my bed and headed out the door. The guy sitting there laughingly told me about how Lynn had pulled a similar stunt and acted really weird to someone else recently in attempt to practice her Chinese medicine.

I did not recognize the room I was in. It was beige, metallic, somewhat cramped and had no windows. I felt confused as to where I was or how I got there. The guy started making small talk (which I don't recall and) I wasn't paying much attention, as I had a sinking feeling I was some how terribly lost.

The guy suggested I go into the living room with him, so I got out of bed and followed him. The living room looked shabby and unimpressive. We sat down on a brownish colored sofa and continued to talk as I desperately tried to orient myself. Soon afterward, one by one, all my "roommates" came home. There must have been at least ten other people I appeared to be living with. I didn't know who any of them were, but they all seemed very familiar with me.

They all sat around talking to each other about various things. (This part of the dream could have easily lasted 10-minutes by itself.) I sort of made excuses for myself for not knowing what the hell was going on. I just woke up. I didn't feel too hot. But eventually admitted, "I have no idea who any of you are!" They laughed it off, and implied I had done too many drugs or something the night before. I started to become terrified of the possibility I had a massive case of amnesia. I hid it, but inside the fear was swelling up strongly.

Then, Sabrina, a girl I haven't seen in many, many years walked in with a big smile. She looked thinner and healthy and I stood up to greet her. I somewhat shouted for joy. "Sabrina! Now you I know!" Everyone laughed. At this point I said "Now I don't know if I'm dreaming or not." I was so relieved to see another person I knew, the fear level dropped and I could pretend to fit in a little. (This part of the dream could have lasted another 10-minutes.)

Eventually my girlfriend walked in and it looked like she had just got off work. She looked sweet and very calm like she had a good day. When I saw her I felt desperate to take her aside and confide in her how lost and uncertain I felt. She told me "Lets go up to our apartment." I felt relieved, because I thought we all lived in that small unit together and I couldn't understand why I would ever choose to live that way.

We walked into the halls which were also metallic and had dark worn-out atmosphere difficult to put into words. The place looked futuristic but extremely old like something from the movie Bladerunner. I followed my girlfriend up flights of stairs like a lost puppy. She remained calm and not alarmed. On the way up the stairs I asked her "Can we go back to my home? I just want to know that it's still real." She laughed it off and we walked to our apartment door.

At this point I turned around and saw a crazed looking man was following closely behind me. I opened our door, which sealed like the door of a submarine and had a bright red glowing light above the thick black metallic peep hole. I seemed to know how to open it perfectly well and I shoved her in the door, followed, then double locked ourselves in. Checking the locks from inside, they seemed loose.

Our door entered close to the kitchen. The place looked even darker, more cramped, and less inviting than the first apartment. I was starting to become very, very, uncomfortable again. Our apartment was divided into three floors. The basement level I never went to, but it was nearly pitch black save for a few red LED's on the walls. I followed her upstairs to our bedroom area. There laying on a chair was a very pale girl with shorts on sitting on a chair half dazed.

I was alarmed, but my GF explained that was only our roommate. I told her I couldn't take this place any more and asked if we could go for a walk outside. She agreed, and we left through a side door and went outside where there was only an empty parking lot, and gray looking forest. We walked into the forest and I started to feel dizzy. (The dream started to destabilize.) Horror struck again...

I put my arm around her for balance and asked "Am I mentally retarded now? Did I have some sort of accident?" She only just slightly smiled and looked at me. --Then I woke up.

I want to emphasize, when I woke up I felt I hadn't seen my bedroom in at least 2-3 days. I felt like a stranger to my own life, and I noticed that my real room was not as visually intense as my dream room.

This dream falls into a common category of my dreams: Bizarre Apartment
8. 12/19/2010 thru 12/20/2010 - Fragments

by , 12-20-2010 at 10:26 PM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
12/19/2010
Fragment:

I was on another relic hunt. This time, I was partnered up with some, really douchey 'hero.' He was a celebrity, or something, and was just so full of himself that I had to constantly restrain myself from choking the shit out of him. We were searching for precious stones and ancient jewelry, scouring through dark caves and tombs and whatnot. After all of our journeying, when we were finally able to find the treasure that we were looking for, he started acting like he was too good to even help carry any of it; saying something about how they were "just stones" and they were beneath him. I seriously just wanted to slap him.

12/20/2010
Fragment One (Lucid):

(Damnit. I completely lost a lucid dream, last night. And from what I can remember, it was a pretty good one.)
I remember walking around at night, having just realized I was dreaming. I believe I was in an apartment complex, walking down the sidewalk, with patches of grass all around. There was a little light around - kind of blue-ish, but too bright to be moonlight - and my shadow was being cast, on the large white wall of buildings, to my left. Fortunately, I do remember looking at my hands, to stabilze the dream, which I've been trying to get back into the habit of doing. I tried to think of something to do, but I couldn't remember what the tasks of the month were, and I eventually recalled WakingNomad's RPG, and my Djinn character (which is another good thing, because we had just recently talked about it, and I was able to immediately think about it, upon becoming lucid - which is sometimes rare for me). While continuing to walk, I just inhaled, clenched my fists, and felt a surge of energy swell within me. Looking at the large shadow of myself, upon the wall, I could see that I now had the wild hair of my character, and even though I don't remember looking down, but I could tell that I was no longer wearing my shirt. Having this new sense of power, being back into the body of my Djinn, I lept into the air and went flying, searching for something to do.

There is a lot, around here, that I don't remember. The dream was very long, and had something to do with mutant vampire things... I can hardly even remember what they looked like - only that they were ugly. At least one of them were being held in some kind of wooden structure, down at the base of what I believe was a flight of stairs. I know that I interacted or had a conversation with one or more of them, but don't really remember a damn thing, other than that I was lucid. I do, specifically, remember reminding myself to go back over the events of the dream, so that they would be easier to recall, when I woke up.

(I vaguely remember waking up, in the middle of the night, and being too tired to get out of bed, to write my notes down. It's just an obscure blur of a notion, but I'm pretty sure it happened.)

Fragment Two:
Something about my mom having brought home food, after I'd just eaten something that I didn't really enjoy. She said something about if I wasn't going to eat it now, I couldn't have any of it later. So, not really all that hungry anymore, I still ate whatever of it I could.
