    1. Archery Lessons and the Planetarium

by , 02-06-2015 at 05:58 PM (Lucid Time!)
I had signed up to do archery lessons somewhere. In order to pay for the lesson I had to help the person who owned the archery range judge the value of another peice of property they owned. It had to be worth at least $40k.

On it was this huge building. In it was this hemispherical room. The walls were covered with bookshelves curving up to the ceiling. (How the books didn't slide off of the upper shelves is beyond me.) There was also this huge bronze/golden contraption that showed the alignments of the planets in some alien solar system.

There were escalators in the building. I think one of them got broken, however.
    2. ~*Wednesday night adventures with Lalin*~

by , 12-05-2014 at 02:42 PM (Three Fold Utopian Dreams)
      Hey Dreamers,
It's been awhile... hope you all have been well. These are some dreams from Wednesday night. As usual, my own thoughts during the dream are italicized & moments of lucidity are usually specified.

American Horror Story in Ala Moana
I am wandering through the Ala Moana Shopping center at night. It's cold which is strange considering I'm in Hawaii. Snowflakes start to fall and I catch one in my hand... I say my LTP (Lucidity Trigger Phrase) as I stare at the flake melting in my palm...
Yup. I'm dreaming... no surprise there.

I continue walking towards the center of the mall. I see strange lights and shadows in some of the stores... kind of feels like a haunted house walk through... it amuses me. I reach the center of the mall and it seems like a show is about to start on the ground floor stage. I lean over the railing to get a closer look at the performers. Some of them I notice from American Horror Story and they were setting up stage with... hula dancers and magicians...?
Hmm...Interesting... this should be a good show.

I'm about to ask when the show starts but I notice something strange about the railing I'm leaning against before I can get a word out. I look down; the railing is falling away in chunks. I take a step back and realize the entire railing is made from a rotting corpse of a giant snake. My hands and shoes are covered in piles of maggots and flies. I panic slightly as I step back and almost trip but I manage to regain my mental stability.
      Argh, gross....

I grow bored waiting for the show to begin so I leave the open seating area in search of an adventure. And that’s when I hear Strong Man (from American horror story) yell
"Hey doll, where do you think you're going? We’re just getting started!" The tone of his voice wasn't very inviting.
      Pfft. kiss my ass.

I begin running back towards the Sears side of the mall. I'm not afraid but I honestly don't feel like wasting my time by having "one of those dreams" again so I'm trying move to another space without interrupting the actual dream flow and atmosphere. But I stop when I hear very familiar voice coming from behind a fake plant. It's my friend who I shall refer to as...Je Lalin...Lalin for short.

      Me:
      "Je Lalin, is that you?"
      Lalin: (panicked whisper voice)
"Shhh! Yes! Shut the fuck up! Are you crazy?!?! They’re going to kill us!"

He pulls me behind the plant and holds me by the shoulders. He's wild eyed, sweaty, and clearly disturbed by my laughing. I try to tell him I think it's a dream but he shushes me again and drags me into a store. We duck behind a rack of bras. I am completely amused by his fear... it's fricken hilarious.

      Me:
"Hey Lalin, notice anything strange about the mall?"
      Lalin:
"Okay seriously... just stop. This isn't a joke. I know you're in shock but you need to shut up while I try and figure this out..."
      Me:
"It's fucking snowing.... We're in the biggest outdoor mall in the world which happens to be on a TROPICAL ISLAND and...It’s snowing. Oh and we're being chased by fictional TV show characters..."
      Lalin:
      "what?"
      Me:
      "IT'S FUCKING SNOWING!!!!"

I grab some bras off the rack, shove them in his face, and stand up. I can hear the strongman getting closer and I try to think of a really messed up way to kill him in front of Lalin.
      Shock value.

He’s still kneeling behind the rack but I can tell he's processing what I said. He stands after a moment which was conveniently timed with strongman walking up to the front of the store. Lalin stares at strongman trying to break the glass before he grabs my face really hard and asks me if this is real... I reply
"It's a real dream, my friend." He stares at me blankly as the back of the store molds into a tunnel...
      I pull him through.

Oranges, Ski Lodge, & Pretend Make Out Sessions

The dream skips a bit; I remember building a snowman with Lalin and his brother (?) at some point. I've never met his brother IRL so I can't be sure. There was tension between them... it was odd. The dream stabilizes a bit when we're playing a game of pool inside the lodge.

On a scale of 1 to 10 my lucidity is at a 3 or 4 at best. We're playing with a young lady, early 20's, short, stocky, mixed Asian/islander. She's on the other team with another young man who looks familiar but I’m not sure why. Anyway, I notice her glaring at me a lot. I can feel her attempts to choke me with her energy. I find it rather unsettling but I ignore it. She eventually throws a knife at me after the game is done but it misses and I return fire with a half peeled orange straight at her head. Lalin and I crack up at the look on her face and she runs out of the lodge.

Eventually, Lalin and I settle onto a white couch by the fireplace of the now empty lodge. We talk about life goals, traveling, and school. Then out of nowhere he snuggles closer, locks eyes, and leans in rather seductively. I close my eyes out of uneasiness as I feel his chest press slightly against mine... I anticipate a kiss but open my eyes to his smirk about 2 inches away from my lips. He reaches for his hot cocoa just behind me on the table. I watch him lean back playfully and sip on his mug. He tries to lean in again to put it back on the table but I grab it from his hands, take a sip, and place it on the table.
      Nice try you lil' shit...

He laughs as if he's read my mind and then asks if I wanna play Make Believe Make Out. I crack up laughing and inquire as to what this game is and he responds with
"It's a game where we pretend make out...duh." I watch him playfully roll his eyes at me and my curiosity peaks. I give him a coy smile and say... "Sure but what's pretend making out?" in the most nonchalant voice I could muster but I highly doubt he noticed my efforts... because his lips were on mine before I could take a breath.

I try to protest that this isn't pretend making out in between kisses but he shushes me (again) and playfully proclaims that this is... in fact... pretend making out and we're winning the game. I can't help but laugh as he unzips my jacket and gently nuzzles his face into my cleavage... licking and kissing every inch he could reach while unclasping my bra from the back. The frustration finally gets to him and he takes off my jacket, shirt, and bra all in one fluid movement. I sigh as he pulls me onto his lap and his tongue finally reaches my nipples. He licks, nibbles, and sucks till I moan and pull his face back up to mine. I try to whisper a thousand sweet nothings to him within a kiss. My laughter's gone and I let my hands wander his body... I find something strong and throbbing just beneath his jeans for me. I unbutton, unzip, and let him out. I watch his eyes glaze over blissfully with each stroke of my hand. He whispers a thousand sweet nothings with a single kiss on my lips and the moment unfolds between us....

      Dragons & Pelicans

I am lying in a wide open field of flowers. I sit up and automatically recognize the space as my personal sanctuary. This triggers semi-solid lucidity. I smell fire. I stand and scan the tree line and see a fucking huge black dragon just chilling by my Koi pond.
      What the fuck....

      Lalin:
"Isn't she beautiful?" he yells from the bridge over the pond.
      Me:
"Yes! She’s amazing! Is... is she yours?"
      Lalin:
"Kind of... I don't own her... I'm just lucky enough to take care of her because she lets me"
      Me:
"Ah, I feel ya, buddy. She's a beauty. Look at those eyes!"

I stare into her endless emerald eyes as I cautiously join Lalin on the bridge. I ask him if he thinks she'd let me get a closer look at her and he shrugs... so of course, I go for it. I walk down the right side of the bridge and approach her slowly... she watches silently. I tell her she's the most beautiful dragon I’ve ever seen...and that's when she lowers her head, licks my entire arm, and takes off into the sky.

Lalin joins me and explains that she's showing off for me. I feel very moved by her gesture. I clap and holler as loud as I can for her. She truly is amazing. I ask Lalin what her name is, he tells me but I will keep her name to myself for the time being. We're discussing her wingspan in proportion to her body when a big glob of white liquid splatters on Lalins shoe. We look up and see a ton of pelicans flying around the sky. Lalin begins whistling to himself while wiping the pelican shit off his shoe and readying his bow and arrow...
      Uh oh... babye birdies...

Swoooossshhhhh! The first arrow flies through his bow and straight through a pelican gut. The bird begins falling from the sky but she (the dragon) swoops in and plucks the bird from his plunge to the earth before he can reach it. I can't help but clap at the team effort and Lalin explains that this is one of her favorite games they play together.
      How cool is that?!?!

I smile to myself and watch them play their game together...
I can feel the dream fading and I know I'll wake up soon. I wonder if he'll remember any of this. I want him to very much so and I sigh slightly within my wishful thinking. I look over just in time to see him smiling at me. I reach for his hand but the feel microfiber of my couch...
      I'm too late.
My eyes flutter open before I can let go of the couch in my grip.

    3. Epic Fantasy Battle.

by , 07-03-2014 at 02:17 AM (Lucid Time!)
Setup: There is some conqueror traveling across the land taking over land and calling it his own. He looks like Genghis Khan and rides around on some kind of reptilian horse creature. His army consists of:
-His sorcerer wife that can raise a skeleton army.
      -Roughly 20 human lieutenants.
-Roughly 100 large ogre-like creatures clad entirely in invincible armor that leaves only the face vulnerable.
We are the native tribe looking to defend our homeland. Everyone in the tribe has tan skin and dark hair. We have roughly 200 warriors, mostly armed with spears. We also have roughly a dozen 'leopard men' on chains. They look sort of like Tai Lung (The villain in the first Kung Fu Panda movie) if he were a bit more realistic looking. Now I am not the leader of the tribe, more like second in command, or some high ranking position close to the chief who wore a large headdress. Every warrior had two blue stripes painted under their eyes.
We are hiding in the woods on the edge of a farm field. The enemy army is marching perpendicular to us, through the field. The chief gives the signal and we release the leopard men and run in. We expected to catch them off guard, but the ogres didn't go down by our spears. (Well nobody hit the face) The ogres kill all of the leopard men in a matter of a few seconds, and knock out a few of our tribe members too.
And about 30 seconds after the chief gives the order to attack, we're all running the other way.
I run back into the woods. I get about 50 feet in and see an ogre positioned in the woods.
"Surrender! Drop your weapon!" The ogre has a deep thundering voice.
I had a bow. I was the master archer in the tribe. I drop it on the ground. The ogre steps on it, breaking it. He laughs briefly.
So me and the remaining tribe members had been taken prisoner. We waited around for some time, and we were forced to watch the conqueror's army ransack a civilian town. (Not the home of our tribe, which was supposedly in a secluded location.) He was merciless and tortured all of his prisoners, including children and the elderly. I don't really want to harp on this, but it was the WORST torture imaginable, not by a long shot, but it was pretty nasty.
Then the conqueror and the tribe chief meet. The chief gives one of those numbers about how the conqueror does not fight with honor. The conqueror gives and evil laugh and makes a deal with the chief. If they can defeat his skeleton army, then they are free to retreat to their home. That or he can just kill us all now. Given no better option, the chief decides to take the fight with the skeletons.
So the conqueror makes this setup. He puts us in a square field with a large hill in the center. He surrounds the edge of the field with his ogres disallowing anyone from escaping. Then the sorcerer comes out and throws blue fire on the ground. It burns away all of the grass in the field and skeleton warriors bust through the ground. Thousands of them. The conqueror orders them to attack.

At this point about half of the tribe turns and tries to escape. The ogres positioned on the end of the field kill about 80% of the escapees but a few manage to slip by. Okay, there is No way we are going to beat ALL of these skeletons, we're outnumbered probably 50 to 1, and that was before half of our guys tried to escape. Plus we're unarmed.
Then I got an idea. I charged at one of the skeletons, dodging the arrow he shoots as I get in close. And do an epic kick of doom to his face. He breaks down into bones and I pick up his quiver, but his bow is broken from my kick. I turn to another skeleton. He is about to fire at the chief who is fighting the conqueror. The conqueror has a katana-like sword with a magical green energy conduit going up the side. The chief has a rusty iron sword that he likely picked up from one of these skeletons.
The skeleton turns to me at the last second and fires. The arrow just glances the left side of my chest. I don't feel any pain from the wound, so I charge at him and kick him down anyway. I pick up his bow and pull the arrow out of my chest. I turn to the one of the ogres and line up a shot.

And then my dad shouts 'I'm going to work!' and wakes me up.

Fragment: I lived in Atlantis. My mom, who had left me when I was a baby had just returned. I was showing her new building around the city. For some reason, Atlantis has an art deco construction style, Kind of like New York used to be.

Fragment: I am partially lucid and climbing to the very top of a sand dune. It is covered in cacti and other exotic plantlife Sand dunes must be a new dream sign.

    4. Trying to get back to lucid dreaming:LD #91: Semi lucid adventures in ... Skyrim?

by , 06-03-2014 at 04:14 AM (Lucid Time!)
My god this dream is groggy and fragmented.

Anyways I cannot recall the exacting details of what was going on, the surroundings were very blurry in the beginning of the dream. I was in what felt like the basement of my own home, but it felt larger and more spacious (That or I had become smaller). The basement slowly began to mesh with a dungeon looking space.
There were a couple of dream characters leading me away from some supposed danger. We get to the 'upstairs' that looks like an open tundra, just like Skyrim. But strangely it still feels like my own home as well. A kind of crappy groggy mesh the dream had created. Furniture was scattered about, and the hills and valleys somewhat mimicked the shape of the rooms.
Some attacking army came upon us, composed entirely of archers. They unleashed a hail of arrows. (Hey I thought those dream characters were leading me away from danger, not twoards it.)
I see one of the 'helpful' dream characters take an arrow to the knee. ._.
The dream started to get much clearer, and became the interior of my house. The feeling of the meadow was gone, but the general of the army, some barbarian and a handful of his archers were still present.
Manei (My dream guide) appears next to me, and just seeing her makes me partially
lucid. Also something weird, she usually has really long black hair, but it was buzzed really short in this dream. The workings of my dream guide will probably never be fully understood.
Anyways, we are ducking behind the kitchen counter and the barbarians (for whatever reason) are not merely flanking us. Manei says she can execute some spell that will take away all of the soldiers, but she has nothing to deal with the general. So she does the spell.
The barbarian general approaches. He announces that he has only one arrow, but that he will make it count. He fires it and it ricochets around the room bouncing off of several objects before flying past Lia, slicing the side of her face. It looked kind of like that scene from 300 with King Xerxes. (Hangon, I thought dream guides were supposed to be immortal and unable to be injured. I saw her get punched through a concrete roof by a giant robot and she shrugged it off like it was nothing. But an arrow, Kryptonite!)
So it is at this point she tells me that I am in
factdreaming. (Oh now you tell me.) Okay, so I guess I have to fight this loser. He pulls a pair of small axes from his cuirass. I merely stand and allow him to charge me. Once he is about 10 feet away...
      FUS RO DAH!
The barbarian goes flying, smashing the front door of my house. I look out the door to see him land and tumble around in the street outside my house. I am suddenly awoken.

    5. Harry Potter and the Arrows of Fate

      by , 11-13-2013 at 07:40 PM
11-04-2013 -- [Three dreams in a row that all sort of tie together, and are kind of short, so I am listing them all as one.] Takes place around year six or so, or possibly might involve some time travel. Some of the evil Blacks (I think Cissy and Bellatrix, and perhaps Sirius' parents) have kidnapped some of the children of other magical families, and have hidden them in a couple of houses protected by a Fidelis-like charm that only allows entry based on blood relations. The spell causes the appearance of a large knocker on the door that kind of looks like a giant eye. It turns silver if you have a slight blood connection, and might be able to force your way through, or gold if you have a strong connection and easy access. If it turns neither, you aren't going to make it in!

I am trying to rescue the kids, and the first house I manage to find, the eye doesn't change, and I have no chance of getting in. But the second house, it turns silver, and the slight connection between the Potters and the Blacks allows me to force my way in through the outermost wards. I find myself inside a fenced yard, where I can see a pool, a house, and a couple of trees. For some reason, instead of having a wand and using magic, I seem to be wielding a long bow and arrows. I feel like I should know the weapon and be able to use it well, but when I try to take the one test shot I feel I can get away with before people notice I am here, it turns out I seem to be clueless. Though my shot is on target for the tree I aimed at, there is no power behind it, and it just kind of bounces off. This is not good.

I take another shot at the tree, but as I feared, I am spotted, and somebody comes running out. I take a shot at them, and they fall into the pool, an arrow sticking out of them. I am told I have to shoot the people in the house, but it is quite far away. I concentrate really hard, and it is like my vision goes telephoto, because now I can see right in a window of the house. It seems to be a bedroom, and I see a gorgeous figure just climbing out of bed in some skimpy lingerie. I think it is Narcissa. I take the shot, and manage to hit her, but she simply scrambles out of the bed and goes running off for weapons. I climb in through the window I shot out, and wander around looking for the kidnapped kids, and shooting any of the evil adults I spot. The problem is, the adults ignore me, and just keep wandering around with my arrows sticking out of them, and the kids don't seem to be worried about having been kidnapped at all.

I come across Veronica (a friend from Tarpon Springs), who is one of the kidnapped kids, and find I have accidentally shot her right through the neck, though she says it is no biggie, and not to worry about it. I head back outside to speak to the rest of my team about what I have found, and even the first person I shot is just swimming laps in the swimming pool. Talk about being ineffective!

      ---

[Woke, then fell asleep again.] Half in a bedroom, and half in a street. The kids of the Death Eaters who did the kidnapping want to be involved, too. It is the usual crowd, Draco, Pansy, Crabb, Goyle. Seems they have made some polyjuice potion to turn themselves into their parents. The problem is, they are still young enough that they don't have enough mass to stretch far enough to make the full transition. So they have their parents' looks and features, but are only about 3/4 size.

An Oriental-looking Death Eater comes along to find his son looking like a Mini-Me, and asks what's up. The son doesn't want to tell him, so just answers with the typical "nothing," and since his father doesn't believe him, he casts a powerful spell to cause ghostly images to replay the last bit of activity in the area so he can see what they were up to. By this point we are in the middle of the street, and while the ghostly images are wandering around, cars are just calmly driving around him. There must be a powerful notice-me-not charm that allows people to see there is somebody or something they have to drive around, without letting them notice how unusual the situation is, and I think it is a really cool spell!

      ---

[Woke and fell asleep another time.] I am wandering the alley behind the Hickory house, trying to think of a good way of protecting kids from the Death Eaters. For some reason, there are a lot of handicapped kids in the alley at the moment, and the Death Eaters have been concentrating on them, so I am concentrating on them as well. I come across one who has a strangely twisted mouth, like a cross between a cleft lip and really bad plastic surgery that makes for absurdly puffy lips. There is a young woman who is selling little bell earrings, off a cart because it is the only thing she can do to try and raise some money. She can only speak Japanese, so I cast a translation spell so I can speak to her.

I manage to heal her mouth, and she is very grateful. I try to rearrange the bell earrings on her cart by size and tone, so they are easily set up to try and play a tune on them, hoping that will attract more customers. Soon there are several other handicapped people near the cart, most of them Chinese, including a pair of Siamese twins. I now speak Japanese, but not Chinese. The group of Chinese speak Chinese and perhaps French. The Japanese girl speaks Japanese and French, and we are about to do a complex job of her translating for me and the Chinese in the languages none of them are especially strong in, before I kind of go D'oh! and just cast the translation spell again.

I tell the group of them that I have strong powers, and may be able to heal them, pointing out how I already healed the Japanese girl, but I cannot guarantee I can heal them, and they don't want to chance it, don't trust me, and try to go running off. I am ticked off, and chase after them, eventually casting some sort of pimple curse at one of them, trying to get them to turn around and come back, so I can try to heal them, but they are still afraid of what the Death Eaters might do to them, not realizing that if I can remove their handicaps, the DEs might not be able to identify them anymore.
    6. Combat 04/05/12

      by , 04-05-2012 at 01:50 PM
Had a dream where I entered an abandoned service station with 2 bay garage. At first I thought it was just me in there but after a minute I started hearing noises of people moving around. It was mostly dark inside.
So I'm staying in the shadows trying not to be seen by whoever. Then the garage bay doors are opened by someone, first the right one, then the left. Now I know for sure people are here, and it seems more are gathering by the minute. Opening the doors lets in more light also.

I re-position myself a bit, but dispite my best efforts, someone comes around the corner, and he has a gun. I think he sees me, so I make my presence known. It is now that I am aware that I am wearing a black ski mask over my head. He doesn't shoot me but claims "This is our territory!" As I look around, I can see just how big his gang is, and they are all armed. I understand I am to leave immediately, which I do. Cautiously and slowly I make my way past the gang members.

I am about halfway to the door, when another gang bursts in and starts a gang war with them. It is awful, bullets are flying everywhere, I don't know how I manage not getting hit. But I ignore the fighting and keep moving. The new gang sees I'm not a threat to them so they let me pass as well. I finally get outside and to safety, whew! Across the street, I look back to the place, it seems like the assulting gang lost the fight and retreated.

Looking around some more, I come across a group of DCs who are practicing archery. They seem to be ready for battle as well, so I point out to them where the gang was at. It seems I end up leading them into battle against the gang I fled from. Their first volley of arrows fall way short, so I tell them you're going to have to shoot twice as far. They are able to correct, and release a volley of arrows that go straight into the open bay doors and kills many gang members. I grab some arrows that were shot and became stuck into the ground, readying myself for melee combat. Everyone charges forward, still shooting arrows as they go. Once our group gets back inside the service station, it is a massacre for the gang. Even though I don't have a bow, I stab a gang member with 4 arrows I hold in both my hands, he dies. I believe all the DC gang members die.

I was at summer camp with my friend Michelle. I had my suitcase. We had to change for something and I wanted to go into the cabin so I could put away my clothes and use the bathroom, but I also wanted to text my boyfriend without getting my phone taken away. When it got inside, it looked like a very plain house. A couple people came in, an older woman and another teenager, and asked us what we were doing. I said I had to put my clothes away and use the bathroom.

I was outside, possibly in a gazebo in what might've been a schoolyard. I was sitting with 3 other people; two black guys and one white girl. I recognized the girl as a classmate of mine, Elodie, but I didn't recognize the two guys. Honestly I don't even remember the one's face. The other, however, was considerably hot, with a smooth chisseled face. He was smoking a cigarette. He asked me my name, and I told him my name was Dani. Then I asked him his name. He told me, but I couldn't hear him. All of a sudden I was in my old middle school's gym, at archery practice. Elodie and one maybe two other people were inside of a vending machine. Elodie was asking me to explain my shooting to her. When I mentioned about the distance, she squished herself against the glass to see. As I was waking up, I received a card, like a credit card, that would open the glass of the vending machine.
    8. November 11 - Giant Indoor Obstacle Course

      by , 11-11-2010 at 04:39 PM
I'm not quite sure how to explain the interior of this dream. It looks like a giant foyer or boiler perhaps where all the floors are that material where you can see down to the floor below you. In the middle of this wide expanse is a big hole where a set of spiraling stairs goes down an uncountable number of floors. It's very dark inside, but somehow I can still see everything that goes on. People are pressed against the walls along all the walls on every floor, as this seems to be a series of races. I'm actually involved in the first race around.

When we start, you're not allowed to stand up and run. Most of the races consists of you trying to crawl at a fast pace to every stage on your knees. I'm allowed to stand to run down the stairs to the next level, but I'm required to crawl to the next actual stage. At this point I seem to be very far ahead of everyone else. Once I reach the first stage, I stand up and have to do some tasks. I don't remember what it is other than it had something to do with archery. I continue on the course, but cannot recall what all stages I have stopped at or having gone down all the rest of the stairwells. The next thing I remember is passing the finish line, somehow on the top floor once more and I'm not at all our of breath.

My prize turns out to be a HD T.V. of some sort. I instantly turn in my dream and go to hand my prize to some little boy's father. He tries to reject the gift, but I insist that he takes it anyways, so he does. I then return to sit with my family to watch more of the races. I hear names of people I recognize being whispered, and I actually see one of my friends tumble off the side of the top floor of the foyer. I can actually perfectly see her crash several floors down, but she just gets up like she never actually fell. The races continue on, but I wake up just as a group of contestants make it down the first flight of stairs.
    9. 06/24/10 Fragmented Memories

Note: Here are a couple of non-lucid fragments I remember from the rest of the night… they really don't make a lot of sense at all and sound rather retarded, but I have been posting everything, so here they are:

      *Archery Competition*
I was in my house. I was practicing archery right there in the house. There were targets hung on the wall and there were several other people there with me, also practicing their archery skills. I was doing pretty well, hitting the target on most of my shots. I fired a few more and then realized I was out of arrows… crap. I asked someone to get me more arrows, and he came back with crap. He said he couldn't find any arrows, so he had found a bunch of junk. He handed me several pencils, a couple of knitting hooks, and an awkwardly shaped stick… um… I wasn't sure how I was supposed to practice archery with that. I put a knitting needle in my bow and fired. Of course it wasn't easily aimed. The knitting needle embedded itself in the head of another archer. He reached back and pulled it out. He looked irritatedly at me and said I should watch what I was doing before I hurt someone. A thick pus was oozing from his head wound, but he didn't notice or didn't care… Somehow I found some arrows to shoot and went back to practicing with arrows. Maybe shooting knitting needles had thrown me off, because my first arrow missed the mark majorly and stuck into our flat screen TV! I went over and pulled it out, needless to say there was a hole. I found the missing pieces and was trying to put it back together like a puzzle… would the cracks be noticed? Probably… then I would have to pay to have it replaced. Damn… I don't have that kind of money!

      *Parking Maze*
I was in a data center like in the hospitals where I used to work. In the dream, I still held a job there. I was getting off work now. I left the office and met James, my ex boyfriend, outside the office. In the dream I guess he wasn't my ex… we headed down the hall and to the elevator. This was the beginning of the weirdness… the elevator didn't go down, only up. We went up about five floors, then we had to find another elevator that would take us to the parking level. What a pain. We got to the parking garage. That, too, was confusing. I knew I had parked on the 3rd level of the parking garage, but I couldn't find stairs that led there. James and I looked endlessly. We were getting mad at each other for being lost. He said I can never find the right path… I told him we had been following his directions. He didn't have a response, and we finally found my car. Now to get out… which proved to be even harder. The parking structure was a maze of up and down ramps, dead ends, and loops that were easy to get stuck in. James said it would be quicker for him to walk. I told him to get out and do so, then. He didn't want to get out. I finally found the exit from the parking garage, but there was a giant sinkhole blocking the road. I knew there was another exit, but we would have to find that one… which promised to be a huge pain in the ass…

      *Grand Theft Yu-Gi-Oh*
I was in my car driving down the road. It was a bright sunny day, and there was not much traffic. I had time to kill before I could go home. I didn't want to get home before my mother expected me. If I did, she would have me doing chores or cleaning or doing some kind of manual labor. I didn't want to do that. I saw a collector's card shop and decided to go in. I parked and went inside. There were so many different kinds of collectable cards. Many of them were from CCG (collectable card games) such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, etc. There were cards from sets I had never heard of. I saw a few sample cards… and it looked like a deck with those would be unstoppable. All cards were guaranteed to be tournament legal (at least until they became more widely known and might be banned), extremely rare, and neigh impossible to lose with. They were also extremely expensive. I wanted them. I thought I could go to the next Yu-Gi-Oh tournament and wipe the floor with my ex boyfriend, who sometimes plays in those tournaments. I thought I could at least kick ass in the tournaments. I started slipping packs of the cards into my purse. I took quite a few, though I don't know how many. I walked out of the store. The owner of the store was trying to stop me. I was sure he had seen me steal the cards. I reached for my keys to leave… I couldn't find them. Damn! Of all the luck. They were probably buried under stolen Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The shop owner caught up with me. I was definitely busted. He handed me my keys and said I had left those inside. I thanked him, and made a note to myself that after I won a couple of tournaments I would be sure and bring money back here for that shop since the owner had been so nice.
