    1. LOLTemplars: Pyramid Dream

by , 08-09-2011 at 05:19 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
I am at the Temple of Nothing. I am big dwarf with white skin and dark red hair wearing iron armor. I survey the scene from the landing pad. There are portals all around. Hundreds of dreamers are pouring into the city. Some of Moon Orcs fuck with them as they tumble in, asking them for license and registration, or attacking or hugging them when they arrive.

Suddenly, a small army of remote viewers arrive riding on hoverscooters. They tell me not to move, then shoot lasers at me. Shields up! I fly off the temple, slicing through the fabric of time and space with my great axe, and leap into it pulling the remote viewers with me into a White Void. There we battle. I feel like Neo, invincible. Then, I realize they are all just puppets of...? They disappear.

I am back at the pyramid (The Temple of Nothing.) I feel strange. I cough up dark energy. My symbiote leaps off my back rolling around, a shapeless blob, eating it up. Raven hands me a glass of pomegranate juice. MoSh is standing next to me. He looks like a Druid with glasses. He says some ancient incantation, and sacred geometry flies out of his palms, and creates and energy matrix around the City.

      missing time

Atras rides up on winged indigo wolf. "You like my dragon?" he asks me.
"Well... it looks more like a..." The beast transforms to a little dragon, and grins at me. "Oh! A shapeshifting steed!" He flies off.

    2. Firecat

by , 08-09-2011 at 03:05 AM (The Nomad Chronicles)
I am FIRECAT, a flaming lion-man, with astral tentacles swirling about my chakras. I am standing on The Temple of Nothing, In the City of Nowhere, in the Land of Nod, on the Green Moon.

I am ensrouded in sacred energy. I look over the city. Everything is beautiful and amazing. I see hundreds of dreamers pouring into the city through portals.

Atras rides up to me on an indigo wolf.

He looks at me and smiles. He dismounts and stands next to me. He asks me if everything he sees is real. I roar, and make the dream ripple. He laughs and asks where Raven is. She turns a corner. She is holding a cute little cat. It's Shadow. Shadow jumps into my arms. I pet her, then she jumps down, and makes figure eights around Raven's ankles.

Raven smiles at Atras, do you want to have an adventure with us?

Atras says YES! then he disappears.

Raven shrugs as she makes a portal, and we jump in.

    3. Montulu in Nowhere

by , 07-19-2011 at 06:26 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
MONTULU, THE GREAT DESTROYER OF NOTHING!

I am Montulu, the Great Destroyer of Nothing. I am a giant monster inside my Temple of Nothing on the Green Moon. I grow a beacon out of my head, a beautiful green and gold light. “I AM THE GREAT MONTULU, DESTROYER OF NOTHING. I SUMMON THEE!”
I shoot a dark energy beam to earth to draw dreamers to me.
I see many. I morph into Juargawn, my cat beast self, and am a little angelic and demonic. Atras waves his arms and runs to me. “Hey man. I think I did it? Did I? Is this real? Is this a dream?”
      “What do you think?”
“Well everything looks real,” he says doing a nose pinch RC.
“No... wait- I am dreaming. What are you doing in my dream? Is this a shared dream? Is this your dream? Are we in Mexico? Are you an alien? Why do all the people look like animals and aliens and superheroes? Why does that guy look like a talking plant? I am so confused! What is going on? This is amazing! Am a dreaming?” he says looking at his hands. He skin begins to change to a sky blue. “Oh my god!” he disappears.
Windhover appears standing next to me. We are leaning on staffs looking out at all the people. She is wearing a thick white robe with light green on the inside. She has a white wooden staff with leaves growing out of it. She seems tall and very ancient, like an elf queen that has lived for thousands of years, and has very slow emotional changes.
“How long do you think it will take, until we realize we are always dreaming, Nomad?”
“Lifetimes, probably, but at that point, we’ll finally have evolved into full awareness of the fourth and fifth dimensions, and we can exist in all five simultaneously in complete harmony.”
      “Hm.. that makes sense.”
She suddenly morphs into a tall woman that looks half Asian and half white wearing a business suit. She sits down at a desk and starts drawing. I create some holograms which dance across the desk. “What is that?” I ask.
“Oh, it’s my visual DJ. I keep this in my dreams to help me remember things I want to draw.”
“What’s this?” she asks, referring to the holograms.
      “That’s me, that’s MoSh, that’s Raven, that’s you, that’s Xaphor.... look...”
She looks at the holograms and claps her hands.
      “How silly and amusing!”
“Oh, pardon me, I said that in Korean, and yet... I perceive you understood me?”
      “Yes.”
      “Really?”
“That is how things work in dreams. I am allied with an entity that translates all languages. I take the Babelfish from my ear, and it morphs into a fairy. She divides herself in two, one green, and one red. The red one flies to Windhover, and flies around her head.
“Hello, Fairy! I am waking up. Bye Nomad!”
I bow to her as she fades.
Raven flies down on a broom. “Hey Nomad? What are you doing? I was at Hogwarts. My students, some of them have greatly accelerated and are teaching me things. They have learned how to dimensional travel.”
      “That is amazing.”
“Oh, I went to Denn, kicked some orc ass, then I told them, hey, be cool, why don’t we have some brownies and red wine with the humans and such. I infected them with a love virus. It was awesome.”
      We high five and laugh.
“So is this shared dream project thing... oh, look at all the dreamers!”
There are many people below running around like ants. Some are building things, some are battling.
“Hey, you!” I shout. “All of you!” They look up at me. “You are all dreaming!”
Most of them do RC’s, and a lot of them wake up. A few of them run up the pyramid. I see Loaf standing in the corner looking up at the sky in silence.
Atras runs up the pyramid, and speaks to me out of breath.
“Oh my God, Nomad, I did the go back to bed thing. I re-entered. Did I remember the dream though?”
“I don’t know. Did you write it down?”
“No? I don’t know.” Atras smacks his head.
‘Why don’t you relax and enjoy the dream?”
Atras sits down and looks at the dreamscape. Flying cars and flying saucers flit about over the jungle canopy as the sun sets on the City of Nowhere.
“It is pretty amazing,” Atras says.
I smile and walk to Loaf. “I like this world. The other wold sucks. It’s a piece of shit.”
“I know how you feel,” I say.
Raven stands next to us, and we silently share healing energy as the sun goes down, and the earth rises.
    4. Shared Dream: Atras, MrIrony, WakingNomad : INTERNATIONAL ONEIRONAUT SHARED DREAM PROJECT

      by , 07-09-2011 at 08:58 PM
-THIS IS THE PROJECT'S NUMBER 2 ATTEMPT

      Atras's Dream

      ATRAS' Dream

I only remember dream fragments, I didn't write down much because I was frustrated that I had a really short lucid dream again. I remember that I was
playing Legend of Zelda (weird because I have only played that game once.) And I remember my character being in an open field and I was trying to become lucid by going into the game or something. I then was a part of the game and became lucid. There was someone else with me in the field, I dont know who it was. I didn't care because I was stabilizing. Once I finished stabilizing I decided to open a portal to the Mayan Temple. I said "When I say go, a portal will open to Chichen-Itza and take me to it...go!" The portal took me to chichen-itza. I saw the pyramid and I saw a couple people but then I woke up.

I tried chaining my lucid dream but it didn’t work.

      MrIrony's Dream

Dream1: I was with my classmate and we were playing The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, Master quest (A.K.A harder) version. We were in the forest temple and I got into the boss room, but I didn't see anything there. Then I remembered that in this version the bosses of this temple and Shadow temple have switched places. I didn't want to fight it, so I turned the console off and tried again. I can't remember much after this, but I went around a field, (In the game.) met someone who claimed we were sharing a dream (No lucidity.) and were in DV the rest of the dream where our shared dream was confirmed. (Don't know who it was.)

      Nomad's Dream (excerpt)

We are back on the surface of the Grey Moon. “To the Green Moon!” I shout exultantly. “To the Green Moon!” shouts Selene, laughing, and I open a portal to the Green Moon. The portal opens above the Temple of Nowhere, and we float down, glowing. People point at us as we descend. I see the Black Sun Beacon is beaming a dark rainbow bridge to Urth. Right now, it’s on Mexico. Hukif shows up. “Hey, Nomad, want to fight?”
“Not right now, brother. I am am waiting for some dreamers.”
“Ok. Good. I hope they outnumber us, then we can fight them together.”
      “Maybe,” I laugh.
Three people come around the corner of the temple.
“Hey, we were looking for you!” pichulick says. “I found these other two dreamers here... “ he looks down at his hands as his dream body becomes unstable.
“Try spinning,” I say. He spins and disappears. “Doh!”
He appears above my head and falls on me.
“I came back to this dream! Re-enter win check!” he says, making a check mark motion. I do not recognize the other two dreamers. We walk to the corner of the Temple of Nothing, and Atras is sitting there, staring at earth. He looks like a pale blue archeopteryx-type creature, but also humanoid.
“I hope it works I hope it works I hope it works...” I hear him chant.
“This is a dream this is a dream this is a dream...” I chant.
“This is a dream this is a dream this is a dream...” he says with me. He looks at his hands. “Pale bluish... bird hands with feathers... yeah, perfectly normal. No! Perfectly abnormal! This is a dream.” Atras stands up.
“I remember my dreams,” I say to Atras.
“Yes! Oh MY GOD HOW AM I GOING TO REMEMBER THIS?” Atras shouts.
“Calm down. Breathe.” Atras does a nose pinch RC.
“I am breathing nothing!” he shouts triumphantly. “You are real!” He runs to me, and rubs his forehead on mine, and kisses me on the nose. He runs around kissing everyone on the cheek as he grabs their faces, except Hukif who telekinetically repels him.
Suddenly, about 300 dreamers tumble up the dark rainbow road, and float down on and all around the pyramid. They all have some dark energy dust on them, like moth dust... Ah, it’s from my wings. I create a giant ball of pomegranate juice floating in the air, and then divide it into smaller spheres, which I float out to all the dreamers.
“YOU ARE ALL DREAMING!” I shout. “PLEASE REMAIN CALM. TAKE A DEEP BREATH. YOU ARE BREATHING NOTHING. THIS IS A DREAM!” Most of the dreamers disappear as they wake up. A few of them reappear a few seconds later as they re-enter. Some of the other ones begin wandering around touching things, eating fruits from the trees, drinking water from the streams. Other ones shout exultantly and fly off into space.
There is a young man who I do not recognize. His language sounds Arabic, or some older language, such as Sanskrit. “I have found you. I have been watching you, and I feel everything is so true, just as you say. You see, I am a Sufi Knight. We are an ancient sacred order of Moon People, who guard the portals to other dimensions. We guard the way to the Inner Earth, or at least one way. The Templar Knights are nothing more than Sun Worshipers, well, on the surface. Their true god is evil, or Harm. They believe Harm is necessary to achieve their means. Evil, death, gives them power. So, Mr. Black Sun, what are you trying to say here?”
I suddenly do not trust this man, and I grab him with astral tentacles, and fling him into the sky. “That is my brother!” Selene shouts at me.
      “MoSh?” No... not him.
The Sufi Knight morphs into a Naga, a winged serpent and roars at me. I leap into the sky, and bite his neck, ripping him apart, and his jaws close around my throat... we die...
We are before some type of counsel of gods. They give us instructions which I cannot translate into English. We nod, then bow on one knee. The gods send us back to where we just were. We merge in the wormhole, and come out above the Temple, a great winged jaguar serpent man. We are shimmering with every color. Energy pours out of us, and everything blooms. We de-merge, and fall to the ground slowly, our default selves.
“What the fuck just happened, brother?” the Sufi Knight says to me.
      “I don’t know.”

    5. The Cool Factor

by , 07-06-2011 at 06:59 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
      Brainwave: Delta, Deep Dream State

I roll out of bed, and stand up. There are a circle of angels standing around me. They seem annoyed. “Dreamer, you violated-”
I see they are all actually demons. I laugh. They are now more annoyed I saw through their guise. “Hello, henchmen!” I grin.
“We are not your henchmen!” they pout.
“Well, I am about to go on some awesome dream adventures. You can come if you want. Or you can wander around in your gay angel costumes.”
      “You’re gay.”
“You’re gay-ER! Bye!” I open a portal to the Moon. One of the demons grabs my ankle, and I have trail of them going to the Moon. In the wormhole, the Wyrm looks at me curiously, and I just laugh. We land on the landing pad on the Temple of Nowhere. I become a demonic cat god.
“Tonight, my brothers, we roll up on some dreamers, and make those mofos have nightmares. They want it, to become lucid.”
“Oh, they will be lucid all right,” one demon says, and cracks his knuckles.
“They will not forget any nightmare I give!” says another.
“And, they will have no dream control. I love deceiving people!” says another.
“Wait... you are the three main dream demons that tormented me as a child!”
      “Yes!” They grin.
I roar, and instantly teleport all of us to The Battle Pyramid.
I become my Demon Self, Deathgawn.

I am nine feet tall, with skin like charcoal, and a black hole on my chest. I summon a flaming morning star, and crack it like a whip. I energize my energy shield that Selene gave me, but I form it into an armor instead of a sphere. I energize my boots. The Battle Pyramid increases in size by 1000 to accommodate my power. I energize my energy gauntlets. I pound one into the ground like a jackhammer, creating a mild earthquake. Dust fall on us, and the demons lose their footing.
“You can’t power up before battle! This isn’t Dragon Ball Z!”
They rush at me, but I just project my energy shield out from me, in a sphere, and they bounce off. My witchblade forms over my body. I float up off the ground, and magnetic mecharmor attaches to me. I summon a small iron shield, and the other armor forms over it.
One of the demons teleports into my energy shield behind me. I grab him, and throw him forward as I shrink the shield, and it burns him like acid. He screams, and teleports to the other side.
The other demons just look at me.
I grow in size as I grow six arms more arms. I summon the Moonblade, the Budgie Sword, the Witchblade. Four more empty hands. Shotgun. Machine gun. Two more arms. These arms have dragon tattoos on them my baby dragon pets, Skyfire and Hydro. The dragons come to life, and rest on my shoulders. Jo, my astral pet, my war beast growls off my forearm and rests on my hand. In the other hand, I summon the Flaming Sword of the archangel, Michael. The winged angel helm appears on my head, and burns into my scalp.
“You cannot wield the power of angels, brother!” the demons shout.
The helm burns into my flesh, but I ignore the pain. Suddenly, I can see... I see with the eyes of angels. I have finally discovered the purpose of this helmet! to summon the sword of Michael, to see with Angel Sight. I see the demons now, glowing orange. I see demons crawling all over the inside of the pyramid. Thousands of them. Thousands pretending to be three. Me against an invisible demon army. I like these odds. I crack the morning star like a whip, and cold blue electric fire shoots out of the iron ball. I throw the giant Budgie Sword, and the parakeets which make up the sword become a flock of thousands, which of course the demons laugh at, until each parakeet becomes a tiny blue blade, spinning faster and faster, bouncing off the inside walls of the pyramids, slicing through their bodies. I throw the Moonblade, and it goes out and comes back to me like a boomerang. Moonlight slices through them like butter. I lay down fire with my machine gun. The bullets split into ten pieces right before they hit. Fuck yeah. Then, I realize the bullets are covered with infectious nanomachines. Even fuckier yeah! The demons rush at me, but I blow them away with my shotty, which is somehow cybernetic steampunk cyborg beast. My dragons fly off my shoulders, and float through the air, in lazy figure 8's, burning and shooting ice bullets through the demons. They leap up on the the dragons, but slip off like water off a duck’s back.
Jo leaps into the fray, and bites demons on their throats, and whips them into the air like a terrier killing rats. Now there are four swarms of demons around each of us. I call my allies to me. I hit the Atom button on my belt, and the four of us shrink to microscopic size. I ride on Jo’s back, and one dragon lands on each arm. I merge with all three, so now I am an eight legged lion man dogdemon centaur beast with two dragon arms, one blue, one gold. My bat wings grow out of my back. I can hear the demons say, “Where did he go?” My energy, then witchblade, then mecha armor forms over me.
I go back to regular size.
“Shit! You are cheating!” they complain.
I shoot my dragons at them. The dragons fly out and spin, shooting ice bullets and fire everywhere. I ride into the fray, and rip the demons bodies’ apart. Selene appears, and opens a myriad of portals. I multiply myself. One Nomad for each demon. I rip them all apart, and summon the Mjolnir. I smash them to bits with the Hammer of Thor, and pull the portals closer to the bits. There is a woman flying around with a vaccuum cleaner, sucking the rest up. Then I realize it is Stephanie, the Biodome AI, looking out for me. All the demons are gone.
I sit down on the floor of the Battle Pyramid in exhaustion, then teleport back to the Temple. Sarnox comes out with pomegranate juice wine. I take a deep draught, then toss the goblet away. “Mahalo, brother.”
Skyfire and Rainstorm/Hydro appear in front of me. They smile, and I make it rain on them. They fly to the horizon of the jungle canopy. Jo appears next to me, and I pet him as he purrs like tiny rumbling earthquake.
      “Uh, Sarnox?”
      “Yes, m’lord?”
      “Dude, don’t call me that.”
      “Isn’t it annoying?”
      “Yes.”
      “My apologies, Your Grace.”
      “Dude!”
      “What?”
“What am I supposed to do next?”
“Well, you were going to give nightmares-”
“Oh right... boring...” I open a couple portals and toss some scary silvery bugs down the wormholes. “Ok, next?”
      “The beacon.”
      “The beacon is lit.”
“No it’s not. You turned it off.”
      “Why did I do that?”
      “You said it wasn’t fair.”
“I don’t care what I said! Turn it back on.”
“You turn it on! You’re the god here.”
“I am the god of Nothing!”
“And we are in the Temple of Nothing, asshole!”
      “FINE!”
I teleport to the top of the pyramid, and it opens up. I slam a golden staff into a contraption, and a beautiful gold and green light beams down to Urth.
      Sarnox teleports next to me.
      “Is this fair?” he says.
“Well, dog, these kids are supposed to meet at this other pyramid on Earth, but they are probably going to end up here.”
      “Why?”
      “The Cool Factor.”
      “Explain.”
“Well, the Temple of Nothing is pretty badass. When that Atras dude said for them to meet at a ziggurat, he may have had no idea that we fucking live here, dude! HAHAHAHA!”
“So, he accidentally suggested for these people to-”
I see dreamers flying up the beam of light. They land on the landing pad near us. There are eight of them. Five of which instantly disappear. They were vague anyway. I could tell they were losing the dream. Oh well.
“See what you did!” Sarnox accuses. “They got confused because of your stupid beacon, and they came here instead, and woke up because they don’t know how to bilocate yet. DUDE.”
“No, they are just learning. Just stop! There are three right here. Let’s talk to them. Hey guys, look at your hands. Stabilize the dream.”
They all begin talking at once. By their language I can tell one is an American, one is French Canadian, and one is Eastern European. I turn on my Babelfish.
The European guy disappears as he wakes up. The French Canadian dude says, “Ah, you are Nomad? You are the cat!” he laughs. “Cat and dog!” he says, pointing at Sarnox. The American guy says, “Hey, hey, it’s me, Atras. I made it! Is this the pyramid thing! Yes! Where are we? Who are you? Nomad? Is this aliens? Are we aliens? Holy shit! Are we on the Moon? Holy shit!”
“Calm down, breathe. I turn them around, and show them the Land of Nod.
The Canadian guy screams, “OH MARY OH JESUS!” in French and wakes up.
I notice Atras dream body quavers for a second at this.
“He’s okay, just be calm, and breathe.”
      “Okay, sir.”
      “Please don’t call me that.”
Atras laughs. “This dream, is amazing.”
“This is your dream," I tell Atras.
      “Wait, isn’t this your dream?”
      “This is just... dream.”
      “We are pure energy.”
      “Yes,” I say.
“We don’t need air to breathe.”
      “No.”
“We are invincible, aren’t we?” Atras says.
      “Yes.”
He flies into the air, transforming into an angel consumed in orange flame.
“I AM INVINCIBLE!” he shouts exultantly, and light beams of a thousand colors shoot out from his center. He laughs exuberantly, and disappears.
“DUDE THAT WAS FUCKING COOL!” I shout, and turn to Sarnox as we HI-5.
