    1. Smokin' with da Snoop to da Dee o' double G

      I'm in a Danish supermarket with my mom. I'm just having a bag of chips and a fanta. When we get to the payment section we see there are no line but there are a fwe other people going there aswell. So we run for it and fights them for the first spot. We get somewhat in the middle of it. It's some fat, bald guy sitting at the counter. He thinks I'm too slow at finding my money so I pick a fight with him and all different kinds of swear words flies back and forth. (btw. I speak english in my dreams usually) In the end I throw one of my chips on the ground and tells him to go fetch and I walk out of there.
      When I get to the car I see a girl sitting on the backseat. It's one of the girls we competed for front spot with in the store.
      She's actually rather cute I think to myself. But I'm not exactly in a terrific mood so I just say hello and get in the car and starts drinking my fanta.

      The girl and I are now in a spanish styled white appartment but I believe it was in California even though I've never been there. We're talking and it's getting a bit hot. She walks out on the balcony and starts taking off her top with her back turned towards me and BAAM! I shoot her :S
      Apparently I was still mad after the supermarket incident...
      I'm like "Wtf I'm gone' do?!" So I light up a homemade ciggaret, you know, the ones that look like small joints. I start walking home, which in this dream was a spanish styled house on the top of a small mountain in the middle of the city. As I'm walking and I light up the second ciggaratte I remember that I quit smoking.
      I'm like "aww daaamn I ruined it" for atleast 3 full seconds then I'm like "whatever this is niiice" My dreamself is really week willed
      I suddenly realize that Snoop Dogg lives just beneath my mountain and he is pushing weed. So I go down there.
      He also lives in a spanish styled house and the entrance is a little hole in the bottom of his wall only large enough to barely squeeze through. So i knock on the wall and look through the hole and Snoop Dogg answers: "What's your name and color"
      So I tell him my name and color and he laughs at me and goes: "White boy? really?!" he then asks if I have smoked before and tells me to describe the smell and taste. I take a deep inhale and I say in a seductive voice: "mhmm... That smell... That taste... How could anyone forget?" Snoop Dogg accepts this and the next instant I'm sitting behind his house with him and some of his friends smoking weed. I tell them that my best friend and I had written a list of things we wanna do before we're thirty. On my friends list is "smoking weed with Snoop Dogg" and I tell them I can't wait to tell him about this. They laugh and we talk a little about my list and cool stuff to do in life.

      Next morning we all got some cards. Mine was for passwords for when I wanna buy again. I see one of the other guys has a card whit a mulitple choice question about me. It's about what crime my girlfriend and I was charged with but never convicted. The correct answer was assaulting a beggar or homeless person or something like that :S

      Then I wake up.

      - I quit ciggerattes in oktober last year, hopefully smoking in a dream doesn't count towards breaking that
      - I have tried weed only three times in my life. I'm not against it but I don't seek it out.
      - I have never assaulted or shot anybody and I don't think I ever will

      I have been and still am working on my social skills and confidence lately and it's carrying over in my dreams which is really cool I'm much more charming and easy going now than just a month ago, yay! This might be a reason why I have started befriending celebritys in my dreams. Last it was Brad Pitt and George Clooney ^^
    2. The Escalator in L.A.

      California is indeed strange.

      I was driving my son to see my dad in the San Francisco Bay Area, coming from Texas. The highway stretches out in front of me with little on either side, but ahead of me is Los Angeles. The sky is clear above me but ahead dark clouds loom over the city, appearing like angry storms. I attribute this to normal California fog.

      L.A. is just a stop in California before we turn north, a place to get some food and stretch our legs. We decide to go to a multi-level shopping mall with wide open spaces and skylights that keep the place well lit.

      I don't recall all of the details but I know a food-court was present and even some of my son's friends from scouts. I know I felt odd about that seeing as we were in California.

      [B]When we headed out we had to go down an escalator and running down it caused me to become lucid. I knew it felt oddly out-of-place and looking down I decided it would be better if the escalator was sloped instead of having steps I could trip on. The escalator took on the appearance of a moving sidewalk similar to ones in airports all over the world, except with a downwards slope. (I realize as I write this that I've been on a sloped moving sidewalk before at a grocery store in Oakland)

      Reaching the end of the sloped sidewalk I knew my movement would carry me too far over and I would fall, so I picked up my feet to hover my way to the doors of the mall. I've flown many times, or floated, but never before have I done it in a fully up-right standing position while moving horizontally. It was a neat feeling, as though solid ground was beneath my feet so I had purchase yet being propelled along with no effort and no ground-contact.[/B]

      After that I went to my dad's house, used the toilet and wrapped my nude body around the backside of the toilet while lying on the floor, staring up at one of my dad's friends. Honestly that part wasn't really interesting so we'll just leave it at that. ;)
    3. Lucid Magic, Flying and Phasing

      I find myself on an errand downtown, possibly working for my last employer, visiting the State General Services building. In my dream the SGS is attached to the old Palm School Building which in real life is also state offices now. For some reason I have changed the word Palm to Psalm in the dream.

      The building is very long and my destination is in the back somewhere. I never see myself fulfilling my errand but I know I was done and headed towards the back exit at the rear of the building. I pass several open areas to come to a large room with low white carpet and shelves along two of the walls. Across from me is a counter similar to the check-in counters you see in airports close to the entry gates. The woman stationed at the counter even resembles Zoe Saldana looking much like she did in the movie The Terminal.

      To my left and slightly behind the counter is an exit door that I wanted to utilize but it is blocked by a bookcase, a clear indicator for 'no access.' I look at the woman and say, "I guess I can't go out that way, can I?" She replies, "No." as though she expected the question.

      "I have to go back to the middle of the building, don't I?"

      "Yeah." Again, the same disinterest in her reply, as though she had said it many times.

      A mental map of the building appears in my head and I can see where the exit is, about one-third the length of the building back the way I came from. I start heading in that direction when things begin to get weird.

      Walking out of the room at the end of the building I realize I'm no longer weaing my shoes, that somehow I had left them behind me when I first went into that area. Now that I've returned to where I left them I find a large cut in them as though a chain-saw had been brought down over them right in the middle.

      Leaning down to pick them up I think, "I would never leave my shoes behind in an office-building, nor would I walk around without shoes, so I must be dreaming." I smiled and felt good at the thought, but even better when I realized I could fix my shoes. "It's a dream, I can fix this."

      I closed my eyes and waved my hand over the shoes. When I opened my eyes the shoes were fixed and actually appeared brand new. What once were slightly dingy shoes are now bright white with red stripes along the sides. (I've never owned shoes with bright red stripes)

      "Ha!" I think and almost say out loud. I'm very pleased with my actions and know it's time for action. I begin putting my shoes on in preparation for walking to the door but I'm having a little difficulty slipping them on and I'm eager to do other things. It occurs to me that putting my shoes on and taking that time may cause me to lose my lucidity. I briefly close my eyes to stabilize myself and reopen them, thinking, "I don't need shoes. It's a dream."

      The first thought to next pop into my mind is to try flying. I head towards the area where the exit is and instead of using a door I walk right up to a plate glass window with the intention of going through it. Sadly I am stopped by the glass, my fingers making the familiar sound against the glass when large windows are contacted. The glass is cold...and solid.

      I step back a bit, thinking,"Hmmmm.....I know I can do this...it's my dream." I launch myself forward and go right on through the window with no effort. I don't think I broke any glass but it must not have been an important detail.

      I find myself flying over a downtown street so I climb up a bit higher to get above the buildings. I can see rooftops with people, chairs and air conditioning units on them. In the streets below cars move and I find myself marveling at the incredible detail my mind can create. Even the plants have movement, something I wasn't expecting.

      Since I'm flying I want to take it as far as I can...but where to go? The first place that pops into my head is the San Francisco Bay Area where my dad lives, a familiar locale. Sticking my hands out in front of me I zoom off like a superhero, the ground whizzing by below me like a video on super fast-forward. Only a few seconds pass before I arrive overlooking the vast area from San Jose to Richmond that makes up the Bay Area.

      As I was flying I could feel the wind against my fingertips as though I high-pressure air-hose was being applied to my skin. This was a unique sensation and unexpected, but cool, another thing I was pleased with my mind for.

      Arriving in the Bay Area I find myself in a rather featureless room with a ceiling above me and painted moldings along the top edges of the walls. I decide as long as I'm dreaming I may as well phase through the ceiling. I push my hand up and into the wood, passing through as easily as my hand into water. "Nice," I think, I want to try this more.

      I am now in the room above the previous one and I try to phase again but it doesn't work very well. I can get my hand partway through but I encounter resistance. I'm just beginning to ponder this when I wake up.


      It was a really nice and long lucid, and the level of control was really amazing. :)
    4. Reclusive Dream, Telecom Job, Falling Through Floors

      5-20-2012 -- [This is a slightly older dream, but very interesting, and somebody just reminded me of it, so I decided to post it here - Batch. I've been ignoring my dreams instead of writing them down for a couple weeks, and as often seems to happen when I do that, my mind provides me with one that seems so interesting to me that I can't help but write it down.]

      I'm over at Hewitt, a place I worked five or six years ago, but in the dream I was only fired last week. I have stopped by because I want to pick up my final paycheck. While I am there, several of the team leaders and supervisors are talking about how they are short on help, and some of them, when they see me, are hinting I might want my job back. I don't.

      Sid (actually the dispatcher at the courier company I work at in present real time) is there, and starts trying to talk me into coming back, but I don't want to. Eventually he leads me to an attractive, and somewhat stacked young lady who is kind of showing off her assets a little to try and change my mind. I enjoy looking, but I still don't want to come back to work here. I'm thinking of how hard it would be to match schedules between this job and my security job [actually I haven't worked security in over ten years.] I take a seat at her desk, and kind of cradle my head in my arms for a second or two, and when I look up, everything has changed.

      Almost all the furniture and people are gone, the carpeting has all changed from red to blue, the young lady and Sid are gone, and I find myself sitting at the desk of a young, thin, earnest-looking black guy who kind of makes me think of Carlton from Fresh Prince. I kind of gasp, and he asks what's wrong. "Where am I?" I ask. "I was sitting in a different place at a different desk, and suddenly I'm here. I know this is a dream, but usually things change slightly more slowly in a dream, so you don't realize you are dreaming."

      The guy looks at me for a moment, and then says "I don't know anything about this, maybe you better talk to our science department." He then reaches out, gives me a little push on the shoulder, and I slowly start to sink right through the floor and drop to the floor below.

      I find myself in a typical office environment, cubicles all over the place and employees wandering around. I just look confused and stupid until one of them asks if they can help me, and I mention I am looking for the science department. They tell me it is further down, and give me a push, and I start to sink through another floor.

      This happens four or five times, and the last time the guy who asks me what I need tells me the science department is the next floor down, but he's running around so much and is so busy, he forgets to push me through the floor, so I decide to do it myself. I kind of push myself down a bit, and my feet sink into the floor about an inch before it solidifies, and I find I haven't gone anywhere. Try again, same thing. Then I take a few seconds, concentrate really hard, and sink through the floor again, though only about half as fast as the times I was pushed. I also bang my shoulders on a couple of cubicles on the way down.

      The floor I now find myself on seems to have tons of computers and lots of machinery and stuff, and it all looks kind of interesting. I ask if this is the science department, and am told it is. There are a bunch of people who seem to be waiting in a line, and I kind of get in the line as well, then glance out a window. I give a small scream. Out the window I can see I am on the ground floor, and I am looking out at foothills in the distance.

      Some guy who looks a lot like James Spader walks up to me, and he seems to be in charge. He asks me why I screamed, and I mention that I was in the ground floor of a building in Florida, got pushed through the floor several times to go down a floor, and suddenly find myself on the ground floor of a building in California, and it kind of startled me.

      He says that sounds interesting, but doesn't make any sense, and asks me to explain what I am talking about. So I explain to him that I am dreaming, and start to tell him the entire dream (same one I'm typing out here for you). There are parts I get wrong. In the dream, I can't remember Hewett or the benefits job, so I refer to it as West Telecommunications, and customer service for T-Mobile (when actually West was Cricket. T-Mobile was APAC.) He is wearing a T-Mobile hat as I am explaining this to him.

      He is really busy, and keeps wandering around the entire department, talking to other people, while still urging me to tell him my story, so I talk through the whole thing and it seems to take quite a while. "... and then I glanced out the window and saw the California landscape and the foothills in the distance, and I gave a little scream of surprise. And if I keep going, this is going to get boring and repetitive, as that's when you came in and I started telling you all of this."

      He doesn't make me go on, and I ask him where I am, and he mumbles something about how I am now in a prison. This makes me angry, and I grab the nearest desk and throw it over, computers and equipment falling to the floor and breaking. I throw over another desk and another, and at first the Spader character doesn't notice, but eventually he catches on and asks me to stop. I ask if he really said I was in a prison, and he says yes, but that it is a kind of friendly one, and I keep overturning things and breaking stuff.

      We move into what almost seems to be a kind of television studio, broadcasting news or something, and as he asks me why I am doing this, I start to destroy the tv equipment. I tell him I figure if I do enough damage they'll throw me out, and he tells me it will never work. I find myself in an office with a large plate glass window looking out on the outside, and I throw a desk through it, but before I can run out the window, the James Spader character stops me. I run into another office, do the same thing, and he blocks me again.

      Soon he's wrapped around me, holding on tight, making it much more difficult for me to move, and he seems to be rubbing against me and coming on to me. I explain to him I am straight, and he lets me go and comes on to somebody else for a couple of minutes. I ask the guy his name, and he tells me it. It isn't James Spader, but whatever it is, I can't remember it. That kind of info is hard to remember in a dream if you don't already know it in real life.

      Soon I find myself looking out at the California landscape through almost a sort of viewing platform, but there doesn't seem to be any glass or anything, so I start running toward what I think is freedom, the Spader guy doesn't seem to care, and explains I can't get out that way. I suddenly hit some sort of invisible shield, which he expected, but I start to 'sink' through it just like the floors, but on a horizontal plane, which he didn't expect. Since the shield isn't stopping me like it is supposed to, other barriers are dropping, much like the barriers they drop at night to close off the individual shops in a mall when they are closing for the night. I manage to get an arm under before they drop completely, and force them back up just enough for me to squeeze under, and as I stand on the outside, free, I wake up.

      Very cool dream!
    5. Very Productive night

      It was a fitful night of sleep but a very productive one.

      D1 First Job
      There was a lot of chaotic dream imagery going on in my childhood home. By the end of it, I remember a replay of the day I went off to my first real job. It didn’t really happen like the dream, this was as if it was being reacted again. From what little I remember of the day, this dream’s reenactment had a lot more upbeat-ness to it than the real event. There were other people there as well that were not there in real life but the real participants didn’t interact with them almost as if they were extras just there to fill in the background. The overall feeling was that my mom and I were so glad that I was finally going off to a real job; we were almost giddy with happiness. I’ve been working since I was 16 and was never giddy to start any job.

      Notes: I see this as my subconscious putting on a play on this subject. My subconscious’ retelling of the event is an interesting take and one that makes me focus on my own possibly dower mindset and questioning the amount I worry. I guess that time should have been a giddy one being as big as it was but why it wasn’t is now something to think about.

      Awake, I tossed off the covers I was way too hot.

      Again, a lot of chaotic dream happenstances going on in dry outside “scrub” areas.
      I am flying around a lot in a California area. I see a nice California suburb and a nice house on a hilly street and fly in only to see the family right there behind the door and they are up to something. They are all (father/mother/20+son/16+daughter) going to rollerblade out the front door, down the street and down a very very steep street to the bottom of the hilly area where a train track was; it looked deadly but they were very happy and getting ready to go.

      As I looked down where they would go my attention followed and I was now looking at another typical California house but not in a comfortable suburb and more on its own and with large succulents growing in the front yard made of rocks and sand. This house had a retention pond next to it filled with green water. There was a road in front of the house and in the road was a dead cat with dried blood and body fluids staining the road.
      Thinking about the cat gave me a higher level of lucidity and I commanded, “back to life and all [internal] parts back the way they were” and I made a gesture with my hand to push life energy out toward and into it. Nothing happened. Still I sat waiting. Then it moved, the mound of fur got up off the blood stained area and I could see the cat’s face and its legs clearly. It staggered slightly as if it had woken from anesthesia or something, down toward the retention pond where it took a good drink. Afterward the reanimated cat walked off to my left toward the house still groggy but seemingly perfectly fine. I was happy that I had found a new dream power.

      While awake I pulled up the covers being way too cold. I tried to remember the alive cat.

      There was more chaotic activity and I flew around but I came to a vacant lot that seemed to be somewhere in a central North Carolina area with that red soil. For some reason I was looking for a link to the real physical world from here in the dream world and I thought I could find it here. I looked over the lot, there were a lot of people here milling around and I asked them but they had no idea what I was talking about. I circled the lot from the road front to the back and then back up to the road front finding nothing.
      I was pretty lucid at this point and noticed dreamers popping into this area either from other dreams or from just falling asleep, it was an interesting area, especially for a weeded empty lot.
      Then someone popped in that looked like my father when he was in his 20’s. I was a bit shocked thinking if that was really him. He stood there looking off into the distance smoking a cigarette with a lot of attitude like they used to in those old movies. I fully realized he could look however he felt, this is the dream world. I walked past him looking. Then he turned to me, I saw it really was him and we both hugged. Then I said “So, Welcome to North Carolina” and as I put my hands out encompassing the dry dirty red soiled vacant lot and street, a boy popped in right to my right with a look of complete surprise. I was annoyed with this dreamer getting in my way and pushed him out of my way with my arm. In hindsight I remember this boy back from a dream I had of looking in a mirror and I was he, a towheaded 10-year-old chubby white boy with a crew cut. I ignored the boy and walked back to the back of the lot with my father following, he was more concerned with how he felt than anything anyone else was doing. I asked a dreamer that looked like he knew something where this was but he just looked at me for a second then looked back at the rusted stove he was wresting with, with some other guys.

      I wandered around and found my way inside a department store inside an open-air mall. I was still trying to find a connection between here in the dream world and the physical world and was very aware of the dreaming world’s rules. While wandering around this place I rhetorically asked a three foot tall impressionistic statue of a T-Rex “where is this place” and it started to come to life, which shocked me! This small yellow metal impression of a T-Rex had been given some of my life by me asking it something, by my giving it my attention and this I felt sorry for since it was barely a T-Rex or anything, it was bad art that would have a life like that so I foolishly as a reflex said to it “oh sorry” which only served to give it more life! It then jumped off the shelf it was on and down to the floor very alive and becoming more so. It looked up at me like it was speaking but I heard nothing. This was uncomfortable and felt sorry for it so I walked past it to take my attention from it so it could go wherever such unintended creations went.

      I saw a sales girl behind the makeup counter and asked her my now constant question but more pointedly so that she knew what I was talking about, “where is a point of reference between the physical world and this one?” She looked at me with a sarcastic look of “are you nuts?”
      Then I see one of those cash register laser guns red lights and think that maybe the point of a common link between the two worlds is not a thing but an energy, maybe the photons can be that link.

      I woke up and was still too cold and now ached too, I felt like I had been on my back for hours.

      Okay... Two dreams I think, kind of confused on the order of things. My friend and I are being driven to Wisconsin by his Mom, and two of my teeth hurting. They look like they're rotting (random third persons in dreams are always fun) and we start driving to some house now, but the surroundings look kind of like a California Suburb. So I get off, and there's some guy who may have been Charlie Sheen on his driveway skateboarding. For some reason, in my mind I thought, wow, those skateboards are probably too thin for my feet. When I looked back, there were several unrealistically thin skateboards sitting there. I saw "Charlie Sheen" do a mediocre Ollie, and we went in. We walk in, and Charlie started using magic. I get scared for some reason and we get back in the car. Charlie looks really evil. This dream is hilariously stupid.

    7. Lucid Snow, OpheliaBlue, and a Snake In The Mud- 05262012 1st Dream

      It's not every day that someone from DreamViews appears in my dream, but this isn't the first time OpheliaBlue has shown up.

      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I’m on a backroad in California, somewhere not too far fromthe Sierras. Trees and bright green meadows line the road, a perfect place fora drive in the country. I encounter very few people.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Up ahead is a driveway that I suspect is an H.E.B., an oddthing to find in California. I pull off the road into the dirt parking lot andwork to fit my vehicle in behind some other SUV. The rear end of the vehiclesticks out onto the road a little but not as far as other nearby vehicles so Iassume it’s okay.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]The store seems less like a supermarket and more like an oldcountry store that has fallen to disrepair. There are no bright overhead lightsand the floor seems dirty. Condensation water drips from various chilleddisplays and pools on the floor, a clear slip hazard. The shelves are filledwith items but the selection is slim with little to no product competition. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Wandering through the store and carrying a hand basket Iselect a loaf of bread and a cucumber, something in a jar and some off-brandtype of soda I’ve never heard of. I seem to not be shopping for a meal butrather just picking up items as I go along and see things I am familiar with. Iremember that I need some water bottles and grab a case of Ozarka, noting thatI still have one at home under the table.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]A cashier is standing by an old-fashioned manual cashregister, his hands on the counter while he waits expectantly for someone tobuy some groceries but I just walk on past him. My belongings seem to disappearas I walk back outside. The parking lot has puddles in it and I have tojump-step to avoid them. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]The sky is a dark grey and as I look up at it snow begins tofall, light at first but quickly turning heavier. I become lucid as the snowand ice falls onto my skin, the chill of the ice almost painful as it lands onme. I just stop and stand there for a minute, looking at the ice melt, feelingthe cold penetrate into me. It’s a really neat sensation for a dream. As theice crystals hit they change from white to blue, then back to white beforemelting and dripping down the side of my arm. The blue is intriguing, and Irecognize it as a dream sign. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Wiping the water from my arm I continue on my way throughthe parking lot. My car is still sticking out onto the road and I no longerfeel so comfortable with it there. It seems too exposed to traffic, so the bestsolution is to move it further into the parking lot. I hop in and start mycar/SUV by pressing on the gas pedal, my keys seemingly forgotten, or lost.Ahead of me is a zigzag path around a red El Camino that will allow me to parkin a safer area. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I’m surprised so many cars are here; there doesn’t seem tobe many people around the grocery store or even the property. I pull into theclearing but if I stay in the position I could get blocked in a manner thatwould make it impossible to get out. I back up into a carport that I thinkbelongs to the property owner. It slopes uphill and has wooden planks set onthe ground to enable traction. A flimsy green roof covers it. It would be agreat place to park but I don’t want to make the guy mad by parking in hisspot.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]From the slight hill I’m on I can see another spot thatwould be perfect, and I pull forward into the circular drive in front of thestore. In the middle of this circle is a bar-style table, and OpheliaBlue isleaning on it and doing her homework. A pencil is held lazily in her right handwith the eraser stuck gently between her teeth. I recognize that I know herfrom DreamViews and this reinforces the lucidity from earlier.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]“You’ll never get out that way.” She says this nonchalantly.“You need to go through IRC.”[/FONT][/SIZE]

      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Dangling from Ophelia’s neck is a small pendant, a whiteoval surrounded by ribbed gold. In the center is a black circle, like the pupilin the eye, and in my mind it clearly belongs in a museum, which must mean shestole it. I’m about to ask when she takes it off and hands it to me, placing itin my hand and folding my fingers over it.[/FONT][/SIZE]

For me it seems like a good time to leave soI walk up the hill to the road, cross into the woods, and head off looking fora pine tree with an oval carved into it.       [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]The center of the forest is hard to find, and the ferns seemto be sticky. I can feel something clinging to my skin, making the tiny hairs onmy arm feel weird. They make progress slow as I step over the plants and fallenlimbs, and the odd smell of feet seems to be coming from somewhere off to myright.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]A voice inside my mind tells me to throw the pendant to findthe tree and I yank on the string to break it. The pull fails to snap the cordso I pull it over my head instead, taking one last look at it before I throwit. The black circle has hints of blue in it like speckles of fire, presumablyparticles of the sky, another recognizable sign of the dream. It’s hard to take my eyes off it but I have tolet it go.[/SIZE][/FONT]

      I had this lucid dream during a WBTB. I find the imagery interesting as it combines elements from California and my old job.

One is a black truck, theother is my silver SUV. I have no recall who the black truck belonged to, onlythat it has become my responsibility to get it to my house.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]While driving along in my SUV, I cross over a highway that Ineed to use to get home. The image is similar to one in Califoirnia near my dad’shouse, lots of trees and no businesses facing the highway. It’s almost pretty. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]After crossing over the highway I turn left to go down anaccess ramp that leads directly onto the highway. On the right side of the roadis emergency parking, and every space is outlined in blue with wheelchairmarkings painted on the road surface, indicating that each spot is designatedfor handicapped parking only.       [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I’m still quite far from home and even if I drive my SUV allthe way to my house I still have to come the whole way back to retrieve theblack truck. Pondering this, the best solution seems to be a leapfrog approachwhere I park one vehicle, go back for the other and drive it part of the waybefore stopping and doing the same thing with the other vehicle. Sure, thiswill work.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I pull over in a handicapped spot halfway down the ramp. Ihad seen a police car pass by earlier and I don’t want a ticket so I try tomake sure my vehicle is far enough down the hill from the roadway behind me tonot be seen by passing cars. I hesitantly head back to my previous location toretrieve the black truck.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]The former location seems to be a combination of a 7-11 anda former waterpark in Austin that hasn’t existed since the late 70’s. Everyoneseems to be standing around, loitering inside the store and not beingproductive in helping me obtain and move the vehicles. I get fed up with peoplestanding around with their hands in their pockets and finally ask what is goingon. It turns out that everyone is waiting on Slurpees. Something is wrong andthe people are simply waiting for their frozen drinks.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I stalk out in anger and frustration, wanting to yell attheir stupidity but knowing it won’t change anything. I manage to get the blacktruck on my own and head back over to where my silver SUV is illegally parked.[/FONT][/SIZE]

The truck seemsbig enough to be a police vehicle so I stick my hands in the air and makeswirling motions above my head with my index fingers. From my mouth I go, “Woo-woo-woo-woo!”acting like a police car pulling over someone. I seem to be utterly convincedthis charade would fool any passers-by.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I walk up to the car worrying it may be unlocked and vandalized,but to my surprise Spike (from My Little Pony) has secured the vehicle to anearby fence with a chain. However, as I begin to inspect the arrangement, Irealize he has thread the chain through the weak links in the metal fenceinstead of a nearby sturdy pole, and the tiny brass lock he has applied is noteven secured, but dangles open with the clasp far from being latched.[/FONT][/SIZE]

      I have been trying to find Link at a lake recently, and I did not find him at the lake or the bistro table; but I did find Saddam!

I’m on a high road in a vehicle,and off to my right and slightly below my elevation is a small lake, a body ofwater I can occasionally glimpse through the trees and in gaps between houses.I really want to get a better view of the lake, but every time I think I’mgoing to see it the view is obscured.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]The vehicle I’m in is headed uphill to some unknowndestination. As we climb, different lakes are visible off to my right. Ipresume that I’m seeing different lakes as I climb up the hill; each oneappears to have a different shape and different volume. Sometimes they seemquite close to my level, as though a short walk would get me to the edge of thewater. Others seem far below me, hundreds of feet below and perhaps as much asa mile distant.[/FONT][/SIZE]

While I am driving up narrowstreets occupied on both sides by houses and small businesses, the view to myright is the occasional shot of tree-covered mountains, deep blue waters, andlake-side hotels of luxury.       [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Ahead of me the road splits, and my dad, who seems to be driving,takes the road on the left. We don’t go more than 50 feet before we are stoppedby a table and chairs blocking the narrow road. A bistro with a storefront onthe road has set up a large table right in the middle of the street. The road, onlywide-enough to allow passage for one vehicle, is now impassable. I can’timagine why they would set up this table in the street, though I suspect it isfor me and my guest. Some thought crosses my mind that the restaurant waswaiting for me and some other person who has failed to show up. My concernsturn immediately back to the problem at hand.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]To our right side and slightly below us is the other fork ofthe road. My suggestion for getting past the obstacle is to back up and takethe other road, and hope it leads to the same place. Moving forward isn’tworking at all as the bistro-owner won’t move the table and the water is nowrising around the van we are in. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Someone tells me the situation is okay because the van cantake a bit of water, though I doubt their information. The water has risen upover the hood of the van and is lapping gently at the bottom of the windshield.[/FONT][/SIZE]

I look over at mydaughter and find her sleeping, her head resting upon her arm.       [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I pull out my weapon and shoot back, ducking behind the nowupturned table as projectiles fly past me. I have the impression that theprojectiles are made of Play-Doh or some other colorful substance, and I’mcertain they are non-lethal. None of the impacts around me seem to cause anydamage, confirming my suspicions.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I move swiftly around the table to chase the shooter who hasdisappeared around the corner. What had been a road is now a brick-pavedsidewalk, and below me is a 50-foot drop to the water below. I’m not far behindwhoever I’m chasing and the sidewalk dead-ends at a brick wall, the only placeto hide being a few stacks of supplies and some crates.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I run to the end and what I took to be refuse and emptycrates was actually bags of flour and various food supplies. Finally getting agood look at my attacker’s face I realize I’m chasing Saddam Hussein, and I’ve accidentallystumbled upon his hiding place. All the people searching for him throughout theworld and I find him in this little alley with his bags of flour and stockpileof supplies.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I only have a moment to realize I’m mad at him before we arefacing off, his back to a wall overhanging the water. I seize the moment andrear up with my foot, shoving him against the wall with a thump that knocks hisbreath out. Without a pause I kick at the crumbly wall next to him, sendingseveral ucubic feet of material plunging into the water below. Saddam, stillwithout breath and now nothing to hold onto, lands in the water on his face andslowly sinks into the depths, and it is clear I am seeing the last moments ofhis life. I feel little in the way of regrets.[/FONT][/SIZE]

      I got some sleep last night and I had some interesting dreams. This one was lucid, involved flying, and I remembered DreamViews and the lovely people here!

      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I have a false awakening and I’m lying in my bed at my dad’shouse in California. I find I am not in his current house but the one he hadwhen he lived in Alameda for 25 years. The bed is near the corner of the roomand to my left (while lying on my stomach) is a window, brightly lit by themorning sun. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]The window is covered by paper shades, a thin material thatrolls up just like a typical window blind. I lift it up and when my eyes adjustto the bright scene I see the ocean. It’s a beautiful scene to wake up to. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Normally I should see another house from this window, but Ifind myself looking at water instead. I decide I want some pictures to show thepeople on DreamViews, to show off how beautiful the scene I wake up to is. Ifind my camera on the table and place it near the window. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Looking closer, I realize the window is a bit dirty, and Istart rubbing the glass with my finger. It isn’t working as well as I wouldlike, and I think how I hate this effect in dreams. I appear to be aware thatI’m dreaming but I can’t control anything yet. I continue cleaning the glass asbest as I can, hoping to make a nice clean spot for my camera lens. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Noting that some of the dirt is on the outside of the windowwhere I can’t clean, I give up and place my camera near the window. I move thecenter-point around, trying to get the camera to focus properly and adjustexposure, cursing myself for not bringing my film camera. The scene finallyresolves into focus, and I notice that I’m looking out at the bay, not theocean. In the background of the picture, across the water, is a large greymountain that doesn’t normally appear anywhere in the Bay Area.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I stare at the mountain for a minute, trying to figure outhow it got there. It’s not like a normal mountain, covered with trees orsnow-capped. Instead it’s almost smooth, as though it was covered with slopedglaciers. Fracture lines are visible in what appears to be ice, though I havenever before seen a glacier so dull.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I take a couple pictures of this scene and decide I would ratherhave some pictures from the beach, so I get up and walk out of the house. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Normally I would have to walk a few blocks and make someturns to even see water from his house, let alone get anywhere near a beach. Onthis day, however, an alley ran right along the side of the house which ledstraight to the water. I really wanted to fly to the beach and get therefaster, but normal flight didn’t fit in with my desire to swim, so Icompromised and flew on an air mattress. Like most of my flying dreams I movedas though I was in water, lying on the air mattress and pushing my handsagainst the air to move forward. I knew I was dreaming for sure but I had nodesire to change anything.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I flew past many houses and a couple of apartment buildingsas well, and as I came over a slight rise in the landscape I could finally seewater ahead of me. It was a pretty scene, and I tried taking pictures here butthe view wasn’t as open as I would like, and people kept interfering with myview of the water. I knew waiting would work out better.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Arriving at the beach I floated on through a cave in therock to a beach cove that had the most beautiful ocean access. The cove waswide, surrounded by rock except for the cave behind me, and had a nice sandybeach that any surfer would be proud of. The rock walls behind me shaded thecove from the early sun, and a number of families had set up their belongingsin the protected sides of the cove to avoid the wind. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I floated along the length of the beach and just took in theview for a minute. I remembered while I was there in the first place and tookout my camera, fixing my view on a distant buoy perhaps a half-mile out. Ittook my camera a while to focus but this time I was happy to not have anymountains in my view, just the beautiful ocean with some small white caps. Icouldn’t have been happier, and I thought about how great the pictures would bewhen I showed everyone on DV.[/FONT][/SIZE]

      I was woken up early Sunday morning by my son calling from camp, so my dream recall isn't what I would have liked. Still, I remember this fragment.

      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Surrounded by farmland I find I am in California, nearbyrolling hills leading to tall mountains in the distance. The air is warm in thevalley, a perfect place to grow green crops and tall grasses, and thesnow-capped mountains make a perfect backdrop for the warm haze I can see oversome of the fields. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Behind me is the Mann-Westgate theater, perched on a hillbehind another theater, newer and bigger than the Mann. Though this theater isgone in real life it appears just as I remember it, apart from the hillside andthe location in this California valley. [/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Following along with the theme of movies, I begin searchingfor signs of one that was recently made. Someone had told me that Godzilla 5had been made right where I was standing, and I began seeking signs of themovie production. I couldn’t even imagine who would ever want to make fiveGodzilla movies, let alone go see them.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3] I kept thinkingGodzilla but for some reason the image in my mind was King Kong, the gorillathat went wild in New York. He had lost some of his size, and was now not morethan about 7 feet tall. While still strong, he didn’t appear anywhere near asmenacing.[/SIZE][/FONT]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I looked to my right, past the motel I had been staying in,down the dirt road that ran adjacent to the motel parking lot. I was lookingfor the red X marks that indicated filming locations, and I immediately spottedone on the light pole a few feet from me. In my mind it seemed like the rightthing for the crew to do, mark each camera spot with an X.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]I knew that another mark would be found inside the theaterso I headed up the hill and on inside the building. A movie was showing in thetheater, and lots of people were in attendance. It didn’t seem to matter that Ihadn’t bought a ticket.[/FONT][/SIZE]
      [SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Five rows from the front, in the third seat, was the ape Ihad been stalking. I still thought of him as Godzilla, though he clearly wasnot a menace to anyone, and no one seemed upset that a gorilla was sitting inthe theater. He seemed peaceful also, sitting in the chair with a box ofpopcorn in his lap. He took occasional bites while watching the movie. Heignored me.[/FONT][/SIZE]

      I had this dream where I had to pose as someone else for a year. This kid had one more year of college baseball left, and he would be going to the majors. I don't remember the guys name, or the guy who set me up for the job, but I was amazed during most of the dream, no even noticed it wasn't him. Then finally I walked up to a mirror and saw why. I was someone else entirely. I guess I was that guy.

      Time started winding down, and eventually the guy who hired me to do it showed up. I think we met in some secret room in an airport. He was with this other guy who was going to fill in for some other persons life, but we had a little bit of time to chit chat. The guy used the term "closing out" when referring to filling in for someone. He talked about some of intricacies of people in the past, like how they held things, and it compared it to holding a baseball. He said knowing a person's habits is like knowing exactly how much pounds of press that person puts in each finger in order to imitate it.

      He was telling me that the thumb and pinky were the most important fingers, and sometimes he'd just stop, and talk about another former job he had. The other guy talked to me, and he said he was going to show for someones award ceremony, and stay there until the entire event ended. Apparently the guy he was "closing out" for didn't know how to dance.

      I even asked him about doing another job in the future, and he said "we'll contact you if we need yah kid". And we all went our separate ways. I saw J sitting on a long bench with some other people, and sat down next to him and started talking. He was asking me what I have i been up to, and I told him that I just spent the past year being someone else. This other guy leaned forward from his bench, and looked directly at me. He had this look of intrigue and anger on his face and spoke. "What did you say you did!?". I looked at him, and noticed that the man was actually the father of the guy I replace. I quickly corrected myself and said "nah, I'm kidding, it was just a dream where I was someone else". The father leaned back, and demanded that I tell him about this "dream" I had. And I started giving away parts of the details.

      Some random DC came up to me and interrupted me by telling some jokes, and I woke up.
    13. crashing planes and bomb

      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

      I was travelling with a group of people, probably in a big van or a bus. It was daytime, and we seemed to be going along a desert highway or a road in a desert town. The road seemed wide, and there was always a lot of space on either side of the road. There may have been some small hills, as well as occasional houses or other buildings. Everything seemed to glimmer with heat convection.

      I watched a commercial airliner pass our vehicle. The plane was huge. It seemed to me that it was way too close to the ground, and that its angle was too steep. It would make sense if the plane were landing. But there didn't seem to be any airport in sight. I thought that the plane was going to crash or crash land.

      Not long after that I saw another plane, this one going over the horizon, possibly in something like a barrel roll. I keep waiting, even kind of flinching, for the explosions from the two planes.

      The people in the vehicle may have started talking about planes crashing. As they did I saw another passenger airliner seeming to crash over the horizon in front of us. This one had all the markings of a commercial airliner and was white, but it was shaped like a blimp. It may have already been on fire.

      We were now at the top of some mesa, looking down over a reddish-brown landscape. The area was supposed to be a big city, I think. But I didn't see any buildings.

      The woman who was in charge of our group had stopped the bus here and gone off to get some kind of instructions or directions. I and another man stood out beside the bus, looking down over the mesa.

      Suddenly a bomb seemed to go off down below. It must have been a big bomb, but I somehow knew it had been strapped to a suicide bomber. The bomb had no explosion, noo fire or light. There were just three concentric rings of dust that rippled out from the cednter of the "blast."

      The rings of dust themselves didn't seem very huge, but they managed to reach us. With the first and second rings, the air temperature became progressively hotter. I then got afraid. I knew how these bombs worked. They were some kind of nuclear bomb. Each ring was a layer of fallout. And the third ring was the worst.

      I cringed in anticipation of the third ring. When it hit us, it shook us pretty hard. The air was full of dust and debris. Then the ring passed us. I knew that we had been so far away from the blast that the radioactive effects would not harm us. But it was now obvious that there were a lot of people all over the place committing terrorist activities.

      The woman came back to the bus. Her instructions were regarding the terrorist activities. Apparently the people in the bus had been assigned to deal with these terrorists.

      One of the men reasoned that since the events occurred in the desert, that we were going to be focusing our work on the west coast. He thought this meant we would be working in California.

      I saw the man's face close up. He was kind of pale, with a short, red beard and red hair. He said, "I never wanted to make too big a deal about California, even though I really like it, cause that's where I come from. But I'm glad we'll get to be going there. Don't you think we'll have to work there?"
    14. Fallout: Ventura

      So this dream starts out in Ventura, the town I was born in. Me and my family is watching a news report showing heated debate about something. One side is arguing about using nuclear weapons more extensively, after developing a particle that destroys radiation, the Rwanda particle (not sure why I picked Rwanda). Somehow things escalate so quickly that one side ends up nuking Los Angeles. my family ends up getting into a vault type bunker, and live for ten years in it, until we get a GLaDOS type voice telling us that radiation levels are minimal. we head up, and somehow all of california is a wasteland, like Fallout. Anyway, my dad is killed by the monsters, who look a bit like the Zerg and only attack at night, and I become the head of the family. Somehow we can just drop down guns and building materials from the sky, and manage to hold them off. I use the days to work on the upgrading the shack, and teaching two people, whose faces I never see in the dream, how to play a saxophone and a tuba. For some reason the guy playing the tuba is in a granary, and the woman's saxophone looks like a trumpet... anyway, i finally send for a huge vehicle to get us all out, and we make it back to Arizona, where there is a huge area set up for refugees, that happens to be in my high school, which makes me suspect that the blast affected about half of AZ, since I live in the center... Anyways, I end up causing the entire evil corp, who was apparently run by GLaDOS mixed with Rosie, to revolt against her, and give me a piece of paper, somehow worth a million dollars... I also steal a pretty rock, as its a gemstone mining corp... So this robot starts living with me and the veteran soldier, and we found out it can manufacture water and Rwanda particles using any sort of matter. It then proceeds to switch the soldiers Rwanda needle with arsenic, killing him. The robot splits in half revealing a blood spattered iron maiden, and that's where i woke up.
    15. Visions of the future and an encounter with a very mysterious women

      non dream - lucid - non lucid

      I occasionally have dreams where I feel I am in the future.
      For some reason in these dreams, I'm usually in LA California, even though I've never been to the US in waking life.
      There is no actual indication that I am indeed in LA though, I just know I am.
      This dream was extremely vivid, I haven't had such a vivid dream since I started being busy with school.


      I wake up in my king size bed in my house in LA.
      It has white pillows and white sheets and it feels very smooth.
      The sun is shining through the extremely big window in front the bed.
      The room is very bright.
      I feel refreshed and get up. I'm only wearing boxers.
      I go to the window and take a look.
      The view is absolutely amazing, my house is on top of a hill, I can see all the way to the ocean from here.
      I go into the bathroom and freshen up.
      The bathroom is very big, and very modern and colorful.
      I see myself in the mirror, I look good, I look happy.
      (and slightly older than I do now)

      I leave my bedroom and go check on my pets.
      I have quite a few parrots in a very big outdoor cage.
      The door of a room leads directly into the cage, I go inside.
      The cage basically consist of a whole room with a grid instead of a wall on one side.
      There is sand on the ground and a lot of different plants for the parrots to sit on.
      I can feel a fresh breeze coming in through the grid, it feels good.
      I play with the parrots a bit and go downstairs.

      Here I enter another room which I have transformed into a habitat for my lizards.
      I own about a dozen bearded dragons, and they are happy to have such a big room all for themselves.
      I don't stay in the room for too long, the heat and the bright lights needed for the dragons makes me dizzy quickly.

      I walk inside the kitchen / living room to grab a drink.
      The room is extremely big. This house is a true mansion.
      I feel like I really belong here, I absolutely love this house.
      I grab a drink of orange juice and exit the room to go outside.
      I am now in front of the pool drinking the juice.
      The pool is quite natural looking, it looks a bit like a spring feeding into a pond.

      There are a few beach chairs in front of the pool, and a bar where I keep a lot of drinks.
      I often have guests over, and the bar is a huge success.
      I decide to just lie down on a chair and chill for a bit.
      As I approach the chair I see a girl already lying there.
      She's my girlfriend, we live together.
      She has long orange/red hair, green eyes and a few freckles around her nose, wearing a white bikini with a red flower drawn on it.
      She's so lovely... so beautiful. I am so happy that she's my girlfriend. I am going to marry this women one day... I love her so much.
      She makes me a sign to join her on the chair and turns her back to me.
      I join her and hold her in my arms.

      Her hair is my face, it smells very nice... a bit like lavender.

      "Good morning sweetheart, how are you?"
      "Great! How are you?"
      "I feel absolutely amazing, like life is too good to be real."
      "Like a dream?"
      "Yes, like..."


      I'll be damned. I am dreaming!
      I feel sad at first, I wish this was real, but then I realize how amazingly vivid this dream is.
      I look at my "girlfriend", realizing I don't even know her name.
      I can see the pores on her skin.
      I can feel the heat of her body and of the sun.
      I can hear the small waterfall in the pool.
      I can smell her, even still taste the remainders of orange juice in my mouth.

      Wow, this feels so real!
      But what does this mean? Why do I dream about a future in California so often.

      "Are you... real?"

      I immediately realize that this was a stupid question.

      "Of course I am, Hyu."

      I think about trying to unsummon her, to see if she's real, but it feels wrong and I decide not to.

      "Is this my future?"
      "..."
      "You're not going to tell me, are you?"
      "It might be your future, it might not be."
      "How so?"
      "Everything is possible, after all destiny is governed by chaos."
      "Even the slightest change will change the course of history, no-one can look into the future, we can only look into the past."

      Well... she isn't a normal DC alright...

      "So all future is uncertain because of the chaos theory?"
      "Yes, but even though it is, time is relative."
      "Future present and past, they're all the same."

      I don't understand what she means.

      "But how can the past depend on the future?"
      "If this is the future, then by seeing this you will inevitable change your past and destroy this future by doing so."
      "That is why you cannot see into the future. That is why destiny is chaos."

      How true... I'm impressed that I can think this clearly even though I'm dreaming.
      It must be because the dream is so vivid.

      "Who are you...?"
      "A girlfriend... a wife?"
      "..."
      "I am what can be, and as such, I am chaos."
      "You are quite mysterious aren't you?"

      She turns towards me and looks me in the eyes.

      "Just the way you like it."

      Her eyes immediately remind me of Yuya's.
      They are different but they also have that infinite detail.
      I don't think that this women is Yuya, but they have something in common, I can feel it.

      "Tell me your name."
      "That I cannot, because my name is a secret."
      "Why?"
      "Because it changes everything."
      "It does?"
      "Everything does, every bit of information, regardless of how benign it may seem changes your whole of reality."
      "Why am I allowed to talk to you at all then?"

      She smiles.

      "Of course talking to me changes everything."
      "Every dream changes everything, everything you experience will change you for all eternity."

      "Then why can I not know your name?"
      "I told you, it's a secret."
      "But why?"
      "Because I am keeping it one."
      "Your curiosity is truly endless Hyu. And that's how it should be, that is how it needs to be."
      "I love you Hyu."

      Saying that she loves me overwhelms me with emotions.
      I am not sure what to say, but I do love this women.
      The feeling is so strong that it is only barely bearable.
      She closes her eyes.

      "Now kiss me."

      I close my eyes and kiss her.
      The feeling of love is so very strong that I don't even realize that the dream is slipping away.
      I just want to hold her, for all eternity.


      Then I understand that I've woken up and open my eyes.
      I can still feel the heat of her body.
      Oh how I wish she was with me, here in my bed.
      But I don't feel sad that she's gone, I still experience this feeling of loving someone.
      I know that it will probably last until the end of the day.
