    1. 8 Sep: Creepy village with weird rules

      non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid FA / AP

Running away and hiding from something or someone. I arrive at this small village on a hill, near a river, that I used to often dream about. Some lady stops the car and offers me a ride. I accept. She then proceeds to talk to me as if we're familiar to each other but I don't feel like we are. Until she says we met years ago in a summer camp, in this place and we used to swim on the river. Then I feel like I have been rude and say sorry, but I still don't remember. Then notice she has a kid in the car, so I say hi to the kid. I need to do some shopping, so she takes me on to a local supermarket. Then it gets weirder. Everybody looks at me like I am a foreigner. Then at the cashier, I am surprised that a jar of olives I picked up is over 50€. I tell the cashier to please put it back as I am not taking it and he goes ballistic. Says he won't, that it is the shop policy that anything you bring to the cashier, you have to pay and take with you. I refuse and say that's insane. My so-called friend actually says I should because it is like this around here and nobody breaks the rule, it's the law. So I just drop everything I was going to buy and walk away not buying anything. They say if I don't pay for it all and take it with me, they will call the police. I am increasingly befuddled and decide to just run away before the cops come.
    2. Bobby Carlyle is a crook

by , 08-11-2014 at 08:15 AM (Lucid Lucy's Dream Explorations)
Non-lucid dream, but still pretty.. ..interesting. Prelude: I've had a crush on Robert Carlyle since I was about 13 (he would have been 38 at the time) and have only recently admitted publicly that I do.

      [Dream]
I'm in a supermarket, working as a cashier. Suddenly Robert Carlyle is brought in, in handcuffs, as he had stolen something in another store. They didn't have any room to keep him, so he was sat down right next to me. We exchanged a few looks, but he was really pissed off. I just continued my work.

      -time gap-

My work day ends and I'm told to escort Robert to prison, which I reluctantly do. Out of freaking nowhere a massive vampier vs humans fight breaks out in the prison, and I'm fighting alongside Sam Winchester (one of the main characters in "Supernatural"). The vampires have found a way to chemically freeze humans (you know, for conservation) and threaten to freeze everyone. (Funfact: they call it Vitrification) Sam and some other guy sacrifice themselves to be frozen so the rest of us have a fighting chance.

The floor in front of them turns to ice, they step on it and freeze from their shoes up to their hair. It looks incredibly painful, but we have to fight the vampires so I sneak my way up to the balcony from which the vampires were looking on. The entire floor below is now ice and I start pushing them off of the balcony and onto the frozen floor, where they freeze just like the humans.

Victorious, I stand up, turn around, and there is Robert Carlyle again, looking at me with sadness in his eyes. It hits me like a brick: he's a vampire too. A new one, I'd say, as the top of his head is missing (remember that scene at the end of KILL BILL? The one where O-ren Ishii is standing there with the very top of her head chopped off? Yeah, that's how Bobby looked.). I look back at him and shake my head. "You really need to get your head checked." I tell him. He half-smiles but it disappears soon as we both know what he has to do now..

      [end dream]

Luckily for me, nothing happened next, but that feeling of understanding and sadness is still with me.
In case anyone didn't grasp it, he was supposed to kill me at the end, as I was the only remaining non-vampire. As I lay awake afterwards, I did imagine that there was another way: conversion. If he had me converted into a vampire, we both could have lived. But in the dream, it didn't occur to either of us, apparently.

It's been quite a while, since I've updated here, so there we go.

      Date: 13 Feb

      Pre bed: 3 mel

      Wbtb: 1/3 latte

I have a non-ld at my grandma's, then another one at an unidentified place that resembles our old place, where I'm trying to ld while family members are walking around.

Mini-LD: I have a short ld that feels like a dream from scratch where I suddenly find myself in this dream scene. I examine myself in the mirror. Memory gap.

LD:Now I am at our old place and remember to do breathing exercises. This goes on for a while until the dream collapses.

LD: I'm on the street now facing this mexican looking DC, he seems quite lively and says something that's in line with what I was thinking/saying. This leads me to initially believe that he's a smart DC. I start a conversation with him, asking him about stuff of interest.

As I talk to the DC, I start noticing that the background kind of flickers (the light in the entire scene), it gradually becomes thicker with this additional layer of light. In the meantime, it seems there is nothing to be learned from this DC as he keeps on coming up with random words.

I start paying less attention to him, continue expressing my thoughts and desires. I pay more attention to what's going on, don't analyze the situation, just witness and feel this energy. The dream layer of energy and light becomes brighter and more dense, it's like I can feel the entire field of dense energy that is over everything and there's a slight hue towards the very light blue to it. It's somewhat pleasant but I totally get the feel and worry that the dream might be coming to an end, while this is happening.

I then recall my restaurant task and look around. The street is rather deserted, just warehouses and no restaurant nearby. The energy effect gradually diminishes as I concentrate on my task. I get the feeling that it might be difficult to change things in this dream, it seems realistically stable when I look at the warehouses, but then get an idea to think about McD. I think about finding a McD around and sure enough, I see the familiar M (or something close to it) over one of the places at the warehouse.

It's closed though, I can see that it's empty and the lights are off. But no problem, I instinctively cover the place with my hand and think about it being open and working/full of people. I move my hand away and it is! I head in its direction, happy about the summon. There are large pictures of burgers all over. But wait, do I really want to eat McD in a dream? I continue inside the store, which feels like some part of mall now. There's this undetermined place that kind of looks like a supermarket section or a convenience store, whatever, it is adjusting to my thoughts/expectations as I come closer.

In the end as I reach the shelves, wondering what to pick up to eat, it becomes a sushi place. I examine the food, wondering what my subcon will come up with, trying not to influence it too much. There's delicious looking sushi with red caviar and also another box that I can't recall in detail. I grab those two and head towards the cashier. Here, I want to play around some more.

There are two female DCs working there and a number of DCs queueing to pay. I go to the counter and expect to be immediately served. They direct their attention towards me and take the boxes, giving me a slight look of discontent. I feel like I don't have any money with me, but instead of summoning them, I decide it will be more fun to pretend that I am paying and everything is fine. This is exactly what what I do - after the old Chinese lady tells me the price, I make a movement to hand her some invisible banknotes which she takes and gives me back a receipt and semi-existing sort of change (a coin or so). She also hurts me a bit with her finger nail and gives me a somewhat angry look (as if she knows what I'm doing). I take the stuff and get ready to leave but the dream fades and I find myself in bed.
I briefly wait to resume, but it doesn't immediately happen, and possibly better for journaling.

    4. High School Bookstore

by , 08-23-2013 at 08:36 AM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
I was in some sort of a bookstore. I was reading a book. It's inside a Catholic school (DBTI?). The lady cashier (librarian) asked if I have a book like it, and clarified if it's mine. Not, it's not. I returned it, and she said it's overdue. I have to pay 21 pesos. I imagined it was already two weeks since I borrowed it, and I thought I was renewing it all this time. I gave her money, but she said, 'Only four [pesos]?' I took more money out of my pocket, and counted two 5 pesos and two 10 pesos, and decided it's a total of 21 pesos.

I looked around for more books, and found a lot of colorful, hard-bound books, but decided not to borrow.

I was watching a story before my eyes. An alien. I transformed into a creature. I howled.

I was in a house. B showed up and we did something like a one-arm embrace or pat, then he went somewhere in the house. R was writing and signing something on the table. He said something about ignoring B. I wondered how can I do that if we're in his house.
    5. Planes and Drums

      by , 02-07-2012 at 09:02 AM
Last night I didn't remember any dreams. This time I remember many of them, even though they seem a bit fragmented and inconsequential. They all seem to be connected but I remember having them at different times during the night.

      First
I'm going to buy airplane tickets. A friend of mine is in a line where they sell some very cheap on sale tickets. She gets one and tells me to get one as well. I wait in the line untill it I get to the cashier, but there is some crowd there and a woman cuts me of. I call my friend and tell that I won't get the ticket in time, the plane is already leaving and I have to take the next one. She is already on the plane.

      Second
I have a room in a large house, like a camping center. I'm charging my laptop in my room. As I wait I'm watching something on the laptop, can't remember what. A car pulls in on the driveway and I go out.

      Third
There is another building on the same yard. A friend of mine has a room there and it seems more cozy. I want to move there so I try to find reception.

      Fourth
Then I go to a concert. It's in a third building on the same yard. The person on the stage has a thick balloon. When she hits it with her hand it sounds like a drum. There are some small nubs on one side and tapping them makes a higher drum-like sound. The music itself sounds like a hundred jungle drums.

      Non-Lucid Part

It's a little blurry, but I remember stealing something from a slightly cluttered store. All of a sudden, a bunch of police officers were trying to beat me with sticks, so I stole a machete and started cutting them up.
Ah, I don't have anything against police officers in real life, but I am much less...reserved...in my dreams.
They were starting to alarm me in the same way I get alarmed when I'm playing a racing video game and the other racer is about a second behind me and the finish line is approximately thirty feet away. As I pushed over a rack of clothes on some other cops, I suddenly became lucid.

      Lucid Part

Suddenly feeling stupid, I looked around and saw that various customers were laughing or smirking at me. So, I cut off their heads in a vengeance. Once again, I assure you that I would not behave so heinously in real life.
I walked up to a pretty cashier, who was also grinning at me. This also pissed me off, and I slit her throat and cut off her right hand.
      ....
Right, so anyways...She continues to smirk and now I'm interested. I will never forget this woman. She had pale blue eyes and fair white skin with a pink tinge to it. Prettiest of all was the creamy blonde hair tied up in a ponytail. Seeing me eye her hair, the cashier put on a brown cap.
"Why did you...Arrgh...Well, it will displease you when I tell you you're not real and this is a dream!"
She smirked and I noticed that her hand was back in place and the neck wound was beginning to heal.
"Are we? Are we really in a dream,"she said with that same annoying smirk and heavy sarcasm in her voice.
I gazed long and hard at her and replied in a flat tone,"Yeah, we are."
She didn't respond to that and she didn't need to. I knew that she knew it was all a dream and that she was only making fun of me. I didn't bother to do any reality checks--not that I ever have to, given my personality--and decided to talk to this rather interesting DC.
      "Um, sorry about that..."
She looked at me with false innocence.
      "The cuts, moron."
"The cuts are healed, as you can see."
She held up her hand and pointed to her neck. I briefly thought it was good, because it meant the others had healed as well. My thoughts were interrupted as the woman exclaimed,"It wouldn't matter anyways, since you were the one who wanted the wounds on all of us healed. Ah, you and your odd way of looking at things."
She looked at me with a fierce intensity.
      "You know what we are."
I returned her fierce gaze, and was about to respond, but she cut me off with a wave of her fully healed hand. The sarcastic smirk back on her face, she asked if there was anything I needed.
"Uh, yes. Take off that ugly hat. Your hair is too pretty to be kept up in that."
"Not after the commotion you caused."

The next thing I know, I'm with two of my three younger siblings and I'm cussing like a sailor.
It all involves the cashier, but I get over it really quickly. I glance at the television with delight.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! I can complete my most important dream goal!"
I turn to my brother and sister and exclaim," We're gonna see if Spongebob is on, kids!"
I turn on the set and faintly realize that I have cable in my dreams. I flip through the channels and I am more and more irritated.
Would you like to know what on?
Nothing but American football games and jewelry infomercials. Though, I must admit that I was pleased that my favorite team was winning on one of the channels.
Finally, I get to a channel that is talking about a new episode of Spongebob involving Mr. Krabs. I clench my fist in triumph and turn around to give Katie and Ross the good news.
"We're watching Spongebob and I don't care that I'm too old for it!"
      I turned around and...
      ...I woke up.
Oh, believe me. I was not happy.
    7. Cashier in a convenience store

      2 Natra Sleep before bed

I remember having dreams about "soul" and "angels" through the night but couldn't remember them when I woke up during the night.

      Upon waking:
I was a cashier at a tiny, old convenience store. There was an old black man standing next to me, watching the tools in my register multiply - the 'register' was a drawer with a kitchen utensil drawer inside of it (like the one I just bought) and the tools looked like kitchen tools, peeler, bottle opener). A guy came up and handed me a $5 bill, and I wondered if I had change because there was no money in it before.

I opened the drawer to give him change, and in the 2nd slot from the right there was a stack of cash, which surprised me, and I pulled out some $1's, and noticed a $20 in the middle, I thought the guy was trying to trick me into giving him the twenty.

      The end.

      Dream
      Non Dream

I'm in a checkout line, trying to pay for my purchases, which consist of a bottle of expensive perfume, 3 packages of menthol cigarettes that I impulsively pick up, - Strange as I don't smoke, in fact I am very anti smoking - and something else of importance that I can't remember - I wish I could remember what this item was, I have a feeling it was important -. I have to split the tender, some cash and some on debit card. The man behind me is obviously irritated that it's taking so long for me to get it over with. After I am through the check out, the cashier pulls me aside and tells me in hushed tones that I should be wary of that man who was waiting to pay. She says that he was looking at my purchases in a certain way and she's fairly sure he will try to steal them.

My man is waiting for me at the other side of the checkout and we leave, walking out of the store into this kind of desolate landscape. The only thing visible is an old barn up ahead. We look back and that man is following us. We try to hurry without looking like we're afraid. The man reaches the barn before us and comes out armed with some sort of weapon, a pitch fork I think. He demands we give him the items I bought. I hand them over, feeling very irritated.
    9. airstrip town, bookstore pole climb, trashy victoria's secret, fixing shower curtain

      by , 11-30-2010 at 01:15 PM
Good morning, everybody. I remember four dreams from last night.

      Dream #1

I was in a big airplane, either in the cockpit or near it while its door was open. In the plane were just me, the pilot, and one of my male friends. The sky outside was grey and wet.

We were taxiing down a runway. We picked up speed, as if we were going to take off. But we weren't getting up enough speed, in my opinion.

I could see from outside and just above the plane. The runway we were on looked way too short for our plane to get up enough speed to take off.

We taxied around the runway roads, clockwise, trying to loop back around and hit the long runway again with a little bit of momentum so we could build up enough speed to take off.

But somehow we ended up (as if we had been travelling counterclockwise) driving the plane outside of the airstrip and onto a strip of road before a large, Victorian-style house. The house was adjacent with the chain-link fence bordering the airport.

A military man in camouflage stood beside the airplane, talking with the pilot, as if he were just standing beside the window of some bus, not a huge airplane. The military man was older, white, tanned, with shortish, square-cut, white hair.

The military man said that the town in which this airport was located was being evacuated soon, anyway. Once it was evacuated, nobody would mind us using the public streets as a runway. That way we could easily get up enough speed to take off.

The military man said, "Heck, maybe even some of the people we evacuate out of the town would like to fly some planes with you!"

Somebody, maybe I, suggested that we get "some of those little planes" (in my mind's eye I saw cone-shaped planes maybe 3-4 meters long, painted white with red triangles pointing away from the nose). The "little planes" could easily get up enough speed to take off from a small runway like this.

We drove the plane away. The military man said he'd order some of "those little planes." He may even have started talking with a younger military man about the order.

It was now night. I stood before the Victorian house, in some little niche set between the wall and the staircase up to the front door. In the niche was an old-style, wooden podium. The podium may have held a big book.

I was probably here to talk to the military man regarding the little planes. I wasn't trying to speed up the order. I was actually trying to figure out what the planes were, to see if they were the right things to use. But I figured my being here to ask about the planes would make me look impatient, and that I'd get on the military's bad side because of it, if I didn't do things the right way.

Somebody came out to talk to me. He was a younger soldier, in formal dress, even a hat (which kind of looked like a Nazi hat). He explained a few things to me about the higher-ups' names. I tried to keep it all in mind.

The man saluted me. I was so surprised that I saluted back, with tears in my eyes (for some reason). Somehow I could see the man reflected in my tears, as if the tears were the surface of sunglasses.

I was alone again. I turned to the book in a frenzy. I had just forgotten everything the man had told me. The high-up military man's name was Wellinghoff. Or was it Norris? I couldn't remember. And I couldn't remember the correct titles of all the higher-ups, either.

      Dream #2

I was in a bookstore or library. It had an old feel to it. It was all made of wood. It was open, with a ground level and probably a balcony level running along the walls. The ceilings were very high. The center of the store was mostly small, wide tables with books displayed on the. The walls were lined with shelves.

I saw, from high up, a couple of my female friends. One of them was aw woman I haven't seen since college. I decided to go say hi to them.

To get to them I began climbing down a wooden pole about 20cm in diameter. I was climbing down the pole head first for a way. Then I did some weird kind of fllip move so that I was climbing down feet first.

I ended near some small, tight, spiral staircase, for which this long pole may have served as a support column. The pole seemed to end a couple meters above the ground. I had to jump the rest of the way down. The two women were right nearby.

I slowly, flexibly reached away from the pole. I relaxedly leapt away from the pole, almost as if I were floating away from it. I landed very softly on my feet.

Thinking that the women would think I was showing off with all I had just done (I wasn't exactly sure myself how I had done it), I started talking naturally to act like nothing had happened.

I began fumbling through a couple of books and even something that looked like a mix between a woman's wallet with a tiny mirror on the front. The wallet may have been a dark blue suede, and it may have had some black and white photo of a famous actress or famous work of art on it.

      Dream #3

I was in a department store. The store looked kind of cheap and run-down. I was now at the counter, getting my stuff rung up. The person ringing me up was a woman, but I don't know if she was older or younger.

Something went wrong, and the woman needed to wait before she charged me. I decided to walk around the store some more.

Off to the left of the cash register and a little ways away was a rack of really cheap-looking lingerie. For some reason, I decided to look through it. I took a few items off the rack, as if I were either going to buy them or try them on.

At some point, I came to the conclusion that I was in a Victoria's Secret.

I looked down into a plastic tub (?) which had a few stray pairs of panties inside. I figured that if I was buying or trying on the lingerie, I'd also need to try on some panties. So I tried to pick some out.

I remember one pair of panties that was like a thong, pale yellow, with a cottony back and a sheer, net-like front with flower designs on it. Another pair was like briefs. The material was blue like denim. But it had a weird, scaly look and feel.

Just to my left was a window wall. Just beyond the wall was another rack of lingerie. A big, tall, black man in a black t-shirt and sunglasses was fingering through the lingerie. I could see that he was also looking for articles of lingerie to try on.

      Dream #4

I was in "my shower," which was a shower-only stall. It was set into the end of the narrow bathroom.

Either my shower curtain had broken or I had decided I'd needed to adjust it somehow. I took the curtain off the rod. Then I tried to put it back on.

I suddenly realized that by taking the curtain off the hook I'd screwed everything up. The curtain was actually just a gigantic plastic bag, like an enormous version of a grocery bag. The bag had been folded around the rod and against the wall (even into holes in the wall?) in so many weird ways that I likely couldn't replicate it.

I figured I'd do my best and try to re-do things. I was up on the wall, looking down on the shower curtain. I don't know how I was up there -- possibly by holding myself in place by doing the splits and holding each foot against the wall? I began working on the gigantic plastic bag.
