    1. Big Yellow Caterpillar

      by , 01-15-2019 at 07:32 AM
Morning of January 14, 2019. Monday.

Dream #: 19,019-02. Reading time (optimized): 2 min.

Zsuzsanna and I are on the back porch of our present home on W Street seemingly before dawn though there is enough light to discern images. My perception is extraordinarily vivid though I am not aware I am dreaming. She is to my left (our sleeping orientation). We are sitting and facing south toward our backyard. There is a big table (that does not exist in reality) that fills most of the space of our porch to the right of the back door (when facing the back of our house).

I notice two features, both of which are yellow and black and about two feet apart, their heads facing toward the backyard. The closest to me looks like a soft toy. It is an elongated bee. The other one has a similar appearance but changes over time. I ask Zsuzsanna if it is an animal.

      “That’s just fuzz,” she says.

Making an effort to discern the farthest feature more clearly, I see it is a big yellow and black caterpillar as long as my forearm and with long hairs. I gaze at it in wonder and soon realize I am dreaming, but I eventually wake without attempting to take control.

One of the only statements I have ever read in any public source that held any truth regarding dreams is: “Similarly, he (Herbert Silberer) has shown that the conclusions of some dreams or some divisions in their content merely signify the dreamer’s own perception of his sleeping and waking.” (This is one of the only factors of dreams with established validity.) It goes on to say, “in persons who are gifted philosophically and accustomed to introspection it may become very evident.” (It was evident to me when I was very young, yet many people never realize it and consequently, pursue “interpretation.”)

This dream renders the same processes in the same order as tens of thousands of previous examples since early childhood (and it is very similar in content to many others) but holds the interconsciousness thread that features Zsuzsanna, an additional emerging consciousness precursor. “That’s just fuzz” means I am not yet fully discerning enigmatic space (and aware I am dreaming). Porches are “bridges” in enigmatic space and represent liminal space in waking life as being a “bridge” between one’s house and the outside.

The final emerging consciousness factor is the big yellow caterpillar. It correlates with vestibular system dynamics. Yellow is only discernible in a dream in becoming more aware of my dream self and simultaneously closer to my conscious self identity. A caterpillar is a precursor to flight as a butterfly. The bee is a soft toy here (a pillow association and thus a dream state indicator). Bees typically represent the increased neural activity of the waking process.

The soft toy and the caterpillar are dual autosymbolism. (Dreams are not symbolic in the conventional sense.) They are on my left because they are precursors rather than active anticipation of the process. (I most often sleep on my left side.)

    2. Speedy Metamorphosis

      by , 07-01-2016 at 01:01 PM
Morning of July 1, 2016. Friday.

My wife Zsuzsanna and family as we are now are living back on Stadcor Street in Brisbane. Our youngest son first notices a caterpillar which moves quite fast. I tell people not to touch it as it has long hairs (though I honestly am not certain if it is poisonous in this way). It seems to crawl unnaturally fast at times but is not really a threat; only a curiosity. It is somewhat of a deep blue color.

Eventually, it seems to make a cocoon after we have it in a large rectangular plastic tub full of dirt. We are out on the back porch, seemingly early in the morning. As I watch, the cocoon moves rapidly over its body like a transparent skin. There is interest concerning when it will become a moth or butterfly. Almost as soon as the cocoon is formed the caterpillar changes as the “skin” now disappears and it becomes a large moth that flies upward. It is almost like a small bird.

This is a curious and more direct waking transition utilizing the typical consciousness displacement flight symbol in leaving the dream state. A cocoon can be seen as a dream sign (analogous to the sheet or blanket that covers the sleeping dreamer) as, additionally in this case, a moth is attracted to moonlight. A caterpillar, especially in a cocoon, is a waking precursor that implies the liminal space on a more subdued level. The moth has a crescent moon design on its wings, which indicates the dream state itself (moon induction) as now waning in relationship to the circadian rhythms and biological nature of the dream state and dream stability and continuity. As I wake while we stand on the back porch, while watching the moth fly up and away, our youngest son is to my right and I am facing the outer wall of the bedroom where Zsuzsanna and I had slept while living at that house (dream sign and waking reference).

    3. Of Caterpillars and Beaded Curtains

      by , 11-14-2015 at 09:59 AM
Morning of November 14, 2015. Saturday.

I am not sure of the setting. There is a generic one-storey house I think, with a front porch. In this first part of my dream, I am outside on a bed and looking at the front of the house from the right of it. There are large tree branches coming out of the house from an area that had seemingly been a vent (above the porch) as well as from a couple windows. The tree probably takes up a lot of space inside the house but I do not go in. (The later room setting does not seem like a part of this house, though it is possible it is implied to be - there is no tree visible at that point though.) There is also a tree just outside the house. I get the impression of one of our cats (Franco) moving in the branches of both trees.

I am recording something important on a cassette recorder feature (while lying on my side on my bed outside the house), some sort of singing or chanting from an unknown source. The voices are feminine and possibly related to spiritual growth or empowerment. I have slight difficulty (but not that annoying as I do not become angry) with the portable stereo’s cassette player relative to the record and play buttons, which must both be pressed at the same time with the same speed and pressure. There is a “pause” button between “record” and “play”, “record” being the last in the row and it is a bit problematic (counter-intuitive) to use as such. This is not a typical cassette player design (of the few different layouts I have used in real life), yet the highly illogical nature of the layout does not trigger lucidity. I accidentally press rewind a couple times, but it does not matter as long as I eventually record the sounds, since they apparently repeat anyway (though I am not sure how long they will continue). During this time there is something about interesting magazines (relating to either science-fiction or satire or both) coming out of nowhere, possibly based on particular sound patterns. This makes me more optimistic and cheerful for whatever reason.

Later, after being with my wife for a time, my dream shifts to me seemingly being a teenager again, possibly around sixteen. I am in a room with my mother though cannot be certain of the setting’s location (as it seems only vaguely reminiscent of the southwest room in Cubitis though also vaguely reminds me of a motel room my family stayed in on our way to Florida when I was six years old and she was surprised by an unlikely tarantula on the wall). There are a few large green spiny caterpillars crawling about (mostly on the wall), a couple much longer than they would be in reality. These are supposedly the most venomous in the world and are called “Slaughterhead” caterpillars (of which I have absolutely no memory of ever having heard this term before). (In real life, it was “puss caterpillars” or wooly slugs we had to put up with - also called “saddle socks” by a few locals but that name cannot be found on the Internet and is possibly wrong as one local ridiculously called oleander caterpillars “centipedes" and warned my mother about them - my father had been stung by a puss caterpillar by accidentally putting his forearm down on one on a table in June 1978, but amazingly rode out the pain and did not want to go to the hospital.)

After a time, there is a caterpillar on me, near my shoulder. My mother bravely takes it off without being stung (as if she was used to doing this - though she did check me for ticks when we lived in Chipmunk Coulee). Later, one crawls on her and she takes it off. Another one, nearly a foot long, is crawling on her side, but my dream shifts to where my gaze is fixed on beaded curtains. (There is also a point where I study my mother’s facial profile and contemplate her being very old. I find it slightly disconcerting but not that emotional - with no memory she died in 2002).

I stare at the beaded curtain and notice that most of the beads are either the number three or the number four (each bead in the shape of the number I think, as the depth perception is fairly discernible), seemingly arranged randomly. I very clearly see each (of many) number three and number four figures (all identical in size - no distortion in any number or feature) in each long vertical beaded string of about a dozen hanging down across a part of the room (seemingly not in a doorway but as a room divider). (Although there are various styles of number beads in real life, I am vaguely puzzled over this feature.)
    4. #147 - Poison caterpillars / Family Guy / FA / Trippiest dream ever

      by , 11-02-2015 at 10:21 PM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)

Set up a DEILD alarm for 1:30, 3:20 and 5:10 last night, trying different alarm tones for each. I found that the 'rooster' sound woke me up but the others didn't. After kind of putting off dedicating effort into DEILD I decided last night that I'd give it a proper try, so when I woke up I actually managed to lie completely still with my eyes closed. I remember reading some advice somewhere that you should focus on a point, so I focused on the centre of my forehead. It kind of felt like meditating in a way. I decided that it was a good enough attempt for the night just knowing that I could do that if I wanted to, then I got up for a WBTB.

      Dream 1 - Poison caterpillars
This dream was pretty interesting, I woke to the 3:20 DEILD alarm and tried cementing it to memory which I found a bit easier than I would if I had moved around. I was in a room at night time, my friend John was here too and we seemed to be in a survival kind of scenario. We had to go to sleep for the night so we each had our own floor mattress and bedding. I lay down to go to sleep but at some point in the night a friend from back home called Fraser showed up. He was the guy we were trying to survive against. He placed these caterpillar-worms on us that were tiny at first (~1cm long), but soon grew to be maybe 7cm long. They poison you just by touch and have these alternating purple to green bands along their body. I remember one crawling on me and thinking that the touch of it was stinging. Fraser came in and took the grown up caterpillars, like it was supposed to be every ones goal to get them (like a quest item?). I was pretending to be dead I think so he wouldn't notice I was still alive despite being poisoned.

      Dream fragment - anime artist?
I remember a group of people on a sunny day walking down a pathway by the road and they were somehow related to anime/manga. Possibly the artists who make it

      Dream 2 - Family guy
I remember having a dream where I think I might have been Bryan from Family Guy. The dream was telling the story of how Stewy and Bryan met and how they came to become a part of the Griffin family. Apparently Stewy was adopted alongside Bryan it seems. I think I (Bryan, who at the time I called Mike because I forgot his actual name) went to a one-off job. I met Stewy there who I seemed to hit it off really well with, we ended up become tight comrades and somehow headed off on a journey together in a car (feels like third person during this so I don't think I'm Bryan anymore). They end up getting adopted into the Griffin family which I find weird because I thought Stewy was born as a Griffin.

FA - I seemed to remember writing 'Stewy and Mike' into my phone so I could recall the dream later, but when I woke up later on and I looked at my phone... there was nothing! Dun dun dun!

Dream 3 - Trippiest Dream Ever
I'm lying in bed in the middle of the night surfing the internet on my phone. It's the first time looking at a screen in a dream where it isn't actually in 'full screen'. I think I come across some music website. Basically it has an artistic anime-style kind of epic drawing. The whole background has this intense vividness to it, which was hued in a surreal purple colour. It has this anime girl that looks like she's jumped forward and reaching out for something with a smile. The art style really impressed me and caught my eye. The website plays music, but for some reason I was too quick to click on the next link and skipped to a new page. Damn. I backspace and head to the previous window. Huh? The background has changed?? It's now a new drawing in the same epic style, a different girl (different clothes, face, haircut, etc) with a different colour hue (possibly orange this time). I refresh the page -- it changes again. Now it's like a steel grey. I think the girl on this one might have had a short fringe with silvery hair. Wow this is all pretty cool, but I really wanted to see the one from the first page. I keep refreshing a couple more times cycling through the art, some of which comes up multiple times. I end up talking to the person who apparently makes it all, the artist herself. I'm not sure how we're communicating, it's like she's communicating through the screen. I'm also sitting at my desk with my laptop in front of me instead of being on my iPhone. I can't remember what we were talking about, possibly about who she is and how she may or may not be the artist? Shit gets crazy as we talk though. Like... absolutely chaotic. She shows me the art on her website and it's no longer static. Some of which is video clips but they flash past my eyes so fast. One clip is from Bakemonogatari (an anime) as a hint, suggesting that she is the artist who draws it (which in my head explains why her art is so amazing). But it just gets so crazy because it's all so vivid and fast, the next part there's an image of an anime girl who mimics the artists words. Her movements come in a strobe-like fashion, the screen flickers rapidly, her face appearing to tilt right while her smile broadens into this insane toothy grin with wide eyes. What the f*ck is going on? Everything is so colourful and vivid with so much change in the lighting. Orange, green, blue, purple, black, white. It's quite beautiful. Next scene she sends me porn which I try to ignore, then realize that it's still open on my browser. I have to close it down manually. I open up a screen which shows all my active apps and try delete it, only to find that there's an endless stream of porn videos open on my phone/laptop. How the hell did this happen?? If someone saw this they'd think I was a pervert. There's just too much and I don't even know what happens but I wake up, realizing that I'm now in my room for real. It was just so realistic though.

On my 20th day of no PMO using the Brainbuddy app. Safe to say that it definitely affected my last dream O_O. My dream recall improved last night too (the 2 nights before my exam yesterday were below my average by quite a bit). From today onwards I have a lot of spare time until I head back to the North Island. I'll be dedicating a lot more time to my dream practices I think from now on (i.e. ADA, DEILD, meditation, + other related stuff like reading ETWOLD)
    5. The Macaroni and Spaghetti Mystery - Solved?

      by , 08-04-2015 at 11:51 AM
Afternoon of August 4, 2015. Tuesday.

I will open this entry with a recent very vivid and somewhat disturbing dream (on some levels).

      “Spaghetti Brain”

Morning of August 2, 2015. Sunday.

I am in my present home on W Street and I notice my youngest son sleeping on his left side on the floor. His head is encased in a glass aquarium filled with water. As I look more closely, I notice that the area where his hair would normally be is fleshy (though somewhat hollow) and that there are strands of (cooked) “living spaghetti” moving about in the water (somewhat worm-like) as if related to some sort of breathing function. At times, though, the “spaghetti” is much sparser and this seems cause for concern. I also see a small piece of macaroni at times (mostly above where his ears would otherwise be), which vaguely reminds me of some sort of tiny worm. He does not seem to be in distress though I still worry about whether or not this is normal. I seem more concerned when there is the least spaghetti “swimming” about and moving down and through some sort of organic structure near his neck. As vivid and surreal (and bizarre) this imagery is, I do not become lucid at any point. I continue to have deep concern about his well-being, but there does not seem to actually be anything wrong. I get the impression that there is not as much active “spaghetti” because he is in a deep sleep.

My above dream probably relates to seeing myself in the form of my son and puzzling about the nature of consciousness and still not becoming lucid in this case. It also correctly shows the nature of my consciousness in sleep (spaghetti becoming sparser in there being less critical thinking on hand).

“‘Eat me…eat me…’ and animated birds” (July 6, 1985) caught me in sleep paralysis which is normally pleasant, though this was not. A box of Kraft macaroni and cheese “dances” and rattles in the air near my head and screams “eat me eat me eat me” as I try to cover my head with my pillow. I have updated this entry with my interpretation, so am linking this particular one in this entry.

“Tornado Encounter” (November 24, 2014) has the tornado turning my old neighborhood in La Crosse into large strands of cooked spaghetti (rather than the expected debris of wood and glass and such). It also replaces the one block of Loomis Street with a bridge (not that elevated), the only time a dream has created this alteration of the setting. There is an additional concept that ties in with the Disney animated movie “Lady and the Tramp”. Even though I had updated “Tornado Encounter” fairly recently, there is still more in the decoding. The scene causes me to think of when the two dogs end up kissing accidentally due to both picking up and sucking in the same strand of spaghetti (a scene I saw numerous times as a child in television commercials). So, in knowing that a tornado is the bottom half of the Merkaba and that spaghetti is related to extensions of mental energies, this dream is showing me that I need to “pick up the strand of spaghetti” and wake up to be with my soulmate (as the “old neighborhood” is gone) so I can kiss her and not wander about in dreams so much other than when becoming lucid and seeking higher states and real knowledge (rather than conjecture). Now that I know what spaghetti lying about anywhere means, I am thus prepared.

“The Legend of Tony Karoni” (June 27, 1976), though not related to a pasta theme, does include the surname “Karoni”, naturally causing me to think of macaroni (as well as “mac” being another word for a man whose name is unknown). There also seems to be some sort of play on the idea of a “spaghetti western” (though in fact, it is supposedly called a “macaroni western” primarily in Japan). “Needle’s cell” in fact, may be a deliberate play on brain cells, this dream being about a month before my surgery on my right thumb and wrist, which is related to much of how I interpreted it at the time.

“As the Worm Turns” (May 17, 2014), which was “dream of the day” on one site on Monday, August 3, 2015, also had implications of macaroni being close to the head (and even inside the brain - taking me back to someone who was making jokes about “brain worms” regarding raisins in muffins at my father’s wake and where I just sat gasping and giggling foolishly at his audacity). In this case, the supposed “killer worms”, in dying, fall out of my hair as seemingly uncooked elbow macaroni (in a very vivid perspective). This also relates to my own conscious energy not being in my dream as I am not lucid. The potential though unacknowledged and uncontrolled “mental energies” are the worms in this case and become macaroni prior to my waking since I had not used the energies for apex lucidity. The likely play on “showing your feathers” in this dream is probably sarcasm from the Source (or a wayward orphaned tulpa) based on the line "stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni”.

Additionally, the “Tornadopillar” dream (April 3, 1982) brings to mind a dream, “The Great 'God’ Worm” (April 4, 1992) where the Merkaba is huge (appearing, in fact, as the total essence of god) and appears as a giant albino glass-like earthworm, “spinning” into my forehead like a tornado force after spending time with my wife-to-be at the top of a truncated staircase (which also seemed to be in a “divine” portmanteau setting including restaurant and observatory).

In conclusion, macaroni and spaghetti represent the energies of the human brain. The link to caterpillars and earthworms is also relevant due to their visual similarities. The difference is that caterpillars “ascend” in becoming butterflies (“lower” mental energies into ascension with soulmate union) and in contrast, the earthworm can be either microcosm or macrocosm (in either digging deep or “digging as high as possible” in the “god-like” Palouse earthworm form - or great white worm, which unfortunately is associated with the devil in some schools of thought).

There. I am glad I got this all sorted out. Thank you for reading.
    6. Mr. Kite is a Feathered Caterpillar

      by , 04-03-2015 at 10:03 AM
Morning of April 3, 2015. Friday.

I am in an unfamiliar outdoor area without many features. I am unsure of the implied time period. Apparently, it may be the 1960s, as I see young versions of the Beatles walking around though I do not interact with them. I get a sense of their innovation. I also reflect on how my best friend Toby and I could have seen them in concert in our teenage years if we had made more of an effort, which does not make sense as they had broken up as a band by then. I still feel cheerfully nostalgic. Even though I seem to be physically present, some of the events look quirky as if with film effects, including when the Beatles are walking and the frame rate seems altered. It might be implied to be footage from or for “A Hard Day’s Night” from 1964. Later however, the implications distort into also being linked to “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”, which is from a later time period (1967).

At a later point, I am listening to “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite” on a pair of headphones while sitting outside near a table. It is a very long fictional version, probably about eight minutes or more, and has random parts here and there vaguely similar to parts of “Revolution Number Nine”. The music has less instrumentation in some parts (as if one more instrument is dropping out of the recording every few measures) but at one point sounds a lot like the real version of the song.

What intrigues me is vivid but incorrect audio of certain parts of the music. For example, near the last section, instead of the melodic flourish over the circus-like organ cacophony just prior to the return to the verse, it is the Dixieland air horn sound (as from the car on “The Dukes of Hazzard”). I hear this in the left channel. It makes me feel very cheerful.

Also, during this time, I watch Mr. Kite, which is a black-and-white caterpillar made up of a long series of miniature “war bonnets” of mostly black feathers, each tiny “war bonnet” directly behind the other. It moves about on the table, seeming to be moving in time to the music; undulating rhythmically and turning about left and right, defining a narrow oval path; a surreal event.

Update (same day): Yet again, a dream occurs that had imagery seemingly influenced by something Zsuzsanna had seen and thought about, something that I could not possibly have known about. In this case, it was specifically a caterpillar that she thought looked as if it had feathers coming out of its body, which she had seen on a children’s DVD (checked out by her for our two-year-old daughter) the night before. (I did not see it prior to my dream.)

    7. Big Green Snake to Little Green Caterpillar

      by , 04-24-2014 at 10:24 AM
Morning of April 24, 2014. Thursday.

I become semi-lucidly aware of my common water induction stage (though semi-lucidity of which does not continue viably), but the swimming pool I perceive seems only about half the depth it should be. (Thus, a precursor of water lowering waking symbolism is already present.) I notice that one of my dumbbells, with weights, is at the bottom of the pool. The water is clear.

I sense that other people are around, a few looking in my direction, yet I do not see them. I find myself handling a large green viper. I am wary but I do not feel as if I am in immediate danger. Unseen people seem to come closer to my apparent public performance. Eventually, I look at my hand and see only a small green caterpillar crawling on the back of it. I am puzzled, trying to recall what it originally was that I was holding.

As a caterpillar is associated with butterflies and moths, it is probably a precursor to vestibular system correlation (including in cases where the ear “flutters”), offset from what started as RAS modulation (the snake, which is the most common biological form of the waking alert factor as RAS modulation). Non-lucid dream control came into the sequence as it often has in previous dreams. I had non-lucidly transformed the RAS modulation factor as well as the potential vestibular system correlation.

    8. manchester lucid

      by , 11-17-2012 at 06:32 AM
incredibly clear lucid last night. im at this swimming pool/shopping complex in manchester with a mate (MF). we walk into a part of it we are not supposed to and security pull us back. after a quick search they give us back our stuff. suddenly i notice im missing my clothes. i grab a towel and jump in a lift. my mate starts laughing at me then when he jumps out the lift he realises he is naked too. we look at each other and go ahhh it must be a dream.

were in this square in town and there are amazing old architectural buildings around. i float around a bit then decide to go for that swim. then we are on bikes and searching round the outside of the complex/ there is some kind of animal park there, with fenced of paths to walk down with horses and stuff a bit like a petting zoo. there is a little pile of puppies on the ground and they look like some of them are badgers.

my mate swerves to avoid another biker and his bike flies of down this ravine. luckily he manages to bounce himself off a tree to avoid falling. when he gets to his bike he whacks it golf style and somehow manages to land it right next to me.

inside the complex is a 1st story room with large glass windos each side. there are 2 similar buildings across each street on each side. as the swimming complex starts to close, people start to file into this room for some after hours activities. it soon becomes clear that its some kind of swinger club as people start displaying themselves to each other across the street. i have a little look but then decide its not for me right now and make my exit.

back in the shopping part and i have this weird link to a repetitive past dream. i am trying to buy this weird tv, which is portrait shaped, makes lots of weird noises and lights, and best of all comes with this egg which grows into an amazing worm/caterpillar type thing which eventually becomes some amazing bug. kind of like the screaming bug on simpsons without the screams. the tv and bug are from a dream where i am living at college in this row of chalet type houses.

i meet wayne rooneys brother when i decide that i will have to order the tv later. i tell him that im here with wayne? for some reason... wayne turns up and has a bit of a fight with his near identical little bro. i try to leave the complex to get my car but the entrance foyer is starting to get rammed with people heading up to the swinger area. lots of my friends are their. also there is this one guy from school who i go up to and ask him his name. his says yes thats me and i just call him a massive cunt then walk away. also Si C is there with mates as i try and squeeze past them. Fi is also there and i chat to her briefly.

i finally make it out of the complex and ask a guard what is the best way to the car park. i go round the back and side of the building and remember that we are parked in this sandy area. i drive around it and eventually we come to a track which leads to a beach. people have left loads of stuff on it like kids bikes so i have to drive very slowly and carefully as they move them for me and i weave inbetween them with just my foot on the brake which only slows the car down but never quite stops it. as i pull into the beach i drive over this black guys wallet/phone or something. i hope that the soft sand will make sure they are not broken, but as it seems he hasnt noticed i try and just get away with it sneakily... cant remember much else for now

Tight Seating, School Bus, Code Lyoko Monster Fight, Sensui & Beach?, Promise, Caterpillar (Non-lucid)

Dream 1: Tight Seating in Restaurant

It was afternoon time in this dream most likely, and I'm in a restaurant that doesn't have many lights on because the sunlight provides enough of it.

I try to find a seat somewhere, but most are occupied, so I end up taking a whole tour around the section of seats in the restaurant until I found one. There was a male who looked like a guy named Julio I used to know in High School.

He and some other familiar people that I know I met, but just can't get their facial patterns. As I'm sitting near the empty seat, I find it really hard to try and get through the tight space, but from my perspective it looked like I was going to be able to sit down with no problems.

But as I'm trying to sit, my chest is being pushed from this short space, and for some odd reason, instead of getting out of this space, I continue to go deeper and deeper in this limited space.

It seems that I ignore this, but I'm still feeling the pressure from sitting from such a tight seating area, and I'm probably talking to Julio about something.

      Dream 2: In School Bus

I believe I'm sitting inside of a High School Bus with my friend Rudy in waking life, and we're talking about a few things that I can't really remember. As the bus stops to let people who live in the area come out, Rudy has to get off from this stop.

I asked him if he has to get off from this area, and he probably says yes or something like that. And since I was probably sitting on the left side of the seat we're in, I get up to let him pass and exit the bus, and then I went back to sitting down.

Then after a few people pass to exit the bus, I decided to leave it as well to go somewhere. I get out of the bus, go to the front of it, and then slowly walked to make sure there weren't any vehicles passing by because the bus was blocking my side view.

Everything is safe, and I proceeded to go forward, I don't know where I'm going, but I see my friend Rudy still walking somewhere in my direction behind me. As I'm going to make a turn, Rudy tells me "Take care, Brandon," or something along those lines.

I reply back and said, "See ya later, Rudy." Then he makes a turn to go wherever he's going and the dream fades after a while.

Dream 3: Code Lyoko Monster Fight

It seems I'm walking with the main group of characters from Code Lyoko, and apparently, Odd is sick, so he can't really go to some field trip to some restaurant or something. There's this contest to where if you can hold a certain food without eating it for a certain time, you would get a free meal from the restaurant.

Then the dream shifts to where Jeremy is checking an alert message popping up from his computer. I assume it's X.A.N.A., who probably activated a tower. (X.A.N.A. multi-agent program that the group has to fight against in the actual series)

But it seems to be a false alarm because Jeremy isn't really picking up anything from X.A.N.A.'s end. So everything is okay for now, until ANOTHER alert message shows up, which is enough for us to go into Lyoko and find the activated tower.

Apparently, Jeremy did something to mess up something, which gave X.A.N.A. an advantage to set out an attack, and Ulrich is slightly bothered by Jeremy's recklessness I believe, because he made the situation more dangerous than it should've been.

Jeremy responds that he's going to try and fix the problem the best way he can.

The dream shifts to where I'm in Lyoko with Ulrich, and probably Odd and Yumi, but what I was doing at the time was a little bit too tense to check on the others. I'm top of a ramp, and I see Ulrich using his motor vehicle to build up speed to ascend towards the fairly huge monster in front of us.

And it also seems that we're in the Forest Sector, but it seems that the same ramp was the only type of ground surface we could rely on, so the Sector was probably close to being eliminated.

(Which means X.A.N.A. most likely controlled Aelita by brain washing her with one of his monsters (The Skipazoa to be precise, but I didn't see the monster) to enter 'Code: XANA' instead of 'Code: Lyoko' that she normally inputs to deactivate the tower and make a return to the past before X.A.N.A's plan at the time is done).

He uses that acceleration to land somewhere on top of the monster and stab it. The Monster looks like some elongated mechanical bug. I just know that its top region was light silver or gray, and it had some weird looking dark blue oval orb on it's head.

It definitely looks like a product that X.A.N.A. would make to fight off against the Lyoko Warriors.

I'm on a vehicle as well, but things are in first perspective, so I can't really identify what it is, and I start to accelerate down the same light green ramp, and as I'm going up towards the boss, I use something to stab him and hold on to that object (probably a sword just like Ulrich's weaponry).

It seems this new monster isn't really taking too much damage from my thrust to its body, despite going really fast from a ramp to create deadly amount of force. Then I notice something weird, there's a screw contained in one of its body's lower regions.

I decide to go near this area, and I don't know how I'm still holding on to the monster, but I am, because if I let go, I'll probably be destroyed completely if I fall into the Digital Sea. I unscrew the screw, and it drops the lower region of the monster's body to the Digital Sea, and we finally destroy it.

Dream 4: Shinobu Sensui and Alaskan Beach features?

Yuske from Yu Yu Hakusho is running along some character that looks like Itsuki, who is behind him. The situation seems to be intense, because a yellow light is rotating fast and constantly as if an alarm has been triggered.

(You know how you watch movies and hear the alarm sound off and the whole place is glowing with red light with loud noises? Yeah, it was like that, except that it's glowlng yellow and sometimes orange).

As they are running, one of them said, "Your penis is this big." The other replies, "Shut up!" while still hanging on to the process of saying "up" for a few seconds.

They manage to get out of the exit, and it's like seeing the white light getting closer and closer as you're trying to rush away from the darkness. When we get out (and I mean we because I'm in spectator mode in this dream), it's dark outside.

The dark sky had an attractive vibe to it. It had a dark voilet type of setting, and as I'm recalling this, it felt like I was getting closer and closer to the shared dreaming location that Kaomea, Alyzarin, and myself agreed on.
(But instead of being highly suggestible and speculate on the wonder of that possibility, I'll just continue on to the dream)

I believe the surface we are standing on is white sand, which again, I don't want to be highly suggestible, this sand did carry on features of the shared dreaming location for me, Kaomea, and Alyzarin. It felt like the Alaskan beach, but it was so vast, and I mean VAST, it's just that I didn't think about it much because of it being a non-lucid experience.

In front of the two characters is Shinobu Sensui in his younger days before he had the traumatizing experience in the actual series that caused him to split his whole personality to cope with the fact that the Humans he thought he was helping to save from the demons are in fact are just as or are even more horrible than them.

I'm including that because the look on his face, it was so innocent, his face was like a naive child who had the skills of a cold-blooded killer. You could say that seeing him, it's as if his countenance was completely filled with the idealistic ambition of a black and white view on what is right and wrong, just like he was in the series.

It seems that the Kazuya side to human must be at its early phase. (Sensui had Multiple Personalities Disorder, but it wasn't so much of a chaos since the individual sides came out independently to conform to the given situation, so Kazuya most likely came out because he's the side that is completely sadistic and the cruelest out of all that deals with the bloody and digusting acts).

Kazuya is talking in his accent just like in the show, which sounded like a Biker Punk in a way, like how Yusuke described him in the English dub. Kazuya is talking about random things like "Help to make me?" and then he starts snickering.

I didn't realize this, but when he said that, I realize he was basically saying things right from what he actually said in the series.

Then I see a huge blast come out of nowhere, and it has to be Yusuke's Spirit Gun coming at us. From what I assumed in the dream, Yusuke probably teleported so fast to shoot from afar, and then teleported back to where we were, or maybe it was really just a random blast of energy coming out of nowhere.

Sensui dodges the attack since it seemed to be directed only towards him. Then I see Yusuke in his demon form looking up, saying he wants to build a community????

The dream fades before I see Yusuke walk a few times towards this vast environment that had some features of the Alaskan beach Kaomea set up for us.

Also, a fragment that happened somewhere along in this dream for sure was me actually being Sensui, and I'm riding a bicycle along with a few people at night, but that's all I remember for that.

      Dream 5: You Promised me....

The dream starts out where I'm in a hallway. It seems I'm in a school related dream, and in front of me is a dead end with a door to a classroom. There were more doors on the side of where I am, and there are a few people waiting for a class to be over with.

While they're busy standing around, I think I get a little impatient, and I knock on the door. I move back a little, and I see the door open slowly. For some odd reason, I'm afraid of who is going to come out.

The person is wearing a gray hoodie, and they have the hoodie over their face, but the fact that I was so afraid because the person looked pissed that I turned my back to the group of people waiting near the dead end.

One of them smiles at me like they wanted to say that I probably shouldn't have knocked the door. And I felt like someone was going to tell the person that I knocked on the door, but I make the silent NO! expression to them.

After a little while, the people in the same classroom I knocked the door from come out. While they are coming out, I go in, and I see a female in front of me. She looked a lot like Ashely from the tennis team I was in at a High School. Let's call her "Ashley H." for the sake of being private about her being.

It seems Ashley H was passing up slips, or pieces of paper for students coming inside the classroom. She's really close to me, and I gaze at her cuteness for a little while. Then to the right of me is a girl that I knew from Middle School.

She was the type of girl that had an insanely big ass for her small figure, along with perky breasts as well. She had fairly big lips, but not too big to where it become a distraction, in fact, she had red lipstick on them.

Before I had the chance gaze her red and enticing lips, I feel in the back of my mind a person coming out of another door. I believe he is talking to someone, but I can't pick out who. He told the person,

"You promised that you would let me fuck her mouth."

I was a bit bothered by this because as he was saying this, I was looking at the girl to the right of me with the insane body ratio. I was looking at her red lips, and only looking at them. I saw the creases on her mouth, and it was as if they were going to pull me into a vortex or something.

When I finally broke free from looking at her lips, I walked around a bit trying to find a seat. I saw a person who looked like James that I had in AP Government in High School, along with a bunch of random people.

He's looking up at me, but just glancing and going back to what he was doing, and I try to find somewhere to sit.

I think I do find a vacant seat, and that's all I remember unfortunately.

Dream 6: Caterpillar and Old Man Screaming

All I remember for this dream is that I was walking around somewhere, and one area was off limits for me because whenever I stood near this area, the dream resets.

It almost felt like someone was pushing me back.

I think another part of that happened after was me observing a preserved jar of some type of Caterpillar. I expected it to be still since it was contained in a gel type material, but I saw it moving a little bit, as if it was trying to swim in it.

Then another dream shift is where some guy is pissed off at something, and he bends his back as if he's going to do a long and loud, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" voice.

I know I had more experiences, but I just forgot them. But I guess my recall is getting okay now, better than not remembering anything at all I suppose, so I should be grateful that my mind is being nice to me like always in remembering these things, even when waking life does bother me from getting them down quickly.

Focusing on emotions, and other senses, like Kaomea told me, helps a lot, and I think I'm getting used to it now to the point that I could go more and more into the dream, and really think about everything mentally to where I can associate so many things from only a few fragments that can extend.

Again, this is one of many reasons why I find Kaomea a suitable partner for Shared Dreaming along with Alyssa as well.

And I might as well focus on all things that I can since when I do meet them, or at least one of them at a time, I can capture the emotions we experience to where we won't have a warped recall, like how Kaomea helped me go through a parking garage, but I felt hazed out because I thought it was something else, and we actually ended up having a non-lucid (for me) shared dream together .

(Apparently, that seems to happen a lot when people don't try to match up REM stages), but it amazes me that when I think a dream is random, when Kaomea or Alyssa finds something similar to that, it makes me believe both in dream telepathy and the dream plane itself.

Either I try so much to become aware about myself that I end up knowing how certain people will feel in their dreams, I guess it's just an ability I should take advantage of, because it'll sure to have positive results in the long run.

    10. Metamorphosis

      , 06-26-2011 at 05:10 PM (Hyu's Adventures)
My dream recall is still quite bad, but from time to time I still have a vivid lucid fortunately.

      I wake up.
I'm in bed at my parents place, and immediately I notice that something feels completely off.
I get up and investigate my surroundings.
Most of my stuff is missing. I used to have a tv here, and an old computer I turned into a fileserver.
All of that, including my desk, all of it is gone.
Everything feels sort of dull and grey, like I'm not really aware.

Awareness? I wonder if I'm dreaming.
      Yes! I must be!
I rub my hands. Weird, doing so feels very vivid and intense, why is everything so grey?
I decide it is not the dream that is not vivid/stable, but that my room isn't lit properly.
I open the window of my room wanting to jump out.

What is this? Everything is so green. I am in a tropical forest.
What is my parents house doing in a tropical forest?
I jump down to investigate further.
There are small lakes everywhere and the air is very fresh.
I follow one of the lakes enjoying the nice air, feeling the wind on my skin and looking at the sun rays shining through the leaves of the trees covering the sky.
Somehow I feel attracted to a specific location not far away.

Once I get there I find a caterpillar on a big leaf.
It is very colorful and excited.
Why do I know it is excited? I can clearly feel it.
I approach it and look at it very closely.
It's moving to the edge of the leaf and lets itself hang down from the edge.

It quickly transforms into a chrysalis.
How interesting, will I see it transform into a butterfly?
I can feel excitement yet again. But it is not my excitement, it is the one of the caterpillar.
It becomes clear to me that I can somehow feel what the caterpillar is feeling.
It is afraid. Afraid because it knows it's whole body is about to be turned upside down, all it's organs rearranged.
But this feeling is completely overwhelmed by the excitement of becoming a butterfly, and being able to fly.

As it's body starts transforming, the soon to be butterfly is starting to dream.
It dreams about being a butterfly and flying through the skies.
It is no longer worried, just extremely excited.
At some point I think about telling it to control its excitement, or else it might wake up.
But then I realize I wouldn't know how to do that.

The butterfly wakes up, knowing that the metamorphosis is completed.
It emerges from the chrysalis and spreads its wings.
They are very beautiful, with very strong tones of orange red and yellow.
Even though the butterfly is so excited to fly, it has to wait until its wings are hardened.

Once they are, the butterfly takes off and flies high off into the sky.
It immediately knows how to fly and how to be a butterfly, even though it was a caterpillar all its life.

I think this is gonna be one of my favorite dreams…I was Alice from “Alice in Wonderland” (I love that movie at ANY age I will be ) I was trapped in a little white room that was getting smaller and smaller by the second, or maybe I was getting bigger… Then I saw the little white rabbit. “Im going to be late late late!” He said “Oh my, Alice, you really must hurry.” He grabbed my finger and led me to a large door that I hadn’t noticed (wow, how sad I never saw the giant white door in front of my face) I walked out the door into a magical world that I cant even describe on paper. It wasn’t even like the movie. It was absolutely beautiful (sorry getting off track) So the bunny told me that we need to get to the “Magical Clock of Time” (that narrows the clock of time to EVERY clock in the world) So he took me to the clock because in order for me to get back I had to pass through the door that was conveniently located on the number 6 on the “Magical Clock of Time” I ran to that door, hoping it was unlocked. I opened the door and looked inside. There were things floating around inside (just like in the beginning of Alice in Wonderland) I stepped in and carefully floated to the bottom. I wasn’t home yet though… Where was I? I looked to the corner and noticed a bundle of leaves. They were curled around something. Was that smoke coming out of that? “Umm, excuse me?” I said. I hoped I wasn’t talking to myself. “Hello Alice” It was the huge blue and green caterpillar (what’s his name?) “Err, yes, I want to go home.” I said. “I know” He blew smoke into my face. Eww…. I hate smoke it gives me a headache (DON’T SMOKE PPL! IF YOU SMOKE I DON’T LIKE YOU HAHA!!!) (ok that was immature but still, point made.) “Can you help me?” I asked him. “Yes” He said, blowing more smoke in my face. “Stick your tongue out and count to 5 while standing on one foot with your finger in your ear.” (Ok? Haha) I did it. I opened my eyes and I was magically in my room. I pinched myself and realized I was actually awake. BTW I still don’t know the caterpillars name, does anyone know what it was? Oh, did the bunny have a name too? I don’t remember…
    12. Tornadopillar

      by , 04-03-1982 at 10:03 AM
Morning of April 3, 1982. Saturday.

I am in La Crosse, Wisconsin on the south side of town and west of the main library. There are a number of other people around, mostly unknown. There is a tornado coming in our direction (from the southwest), or so it seems for several minutes. I can hear the train-like rumbling sounds (like with a real tornado but which may be caused by real environmental noise such as louder traffic while sleeping). I am with some friends and we and the other people are eventually running everywhere, though mostly north.

All of a sudden, there is a strange screeching sound (again, possibly caused by real-life environmental sounds intruding into my dream without waking me, such as a vehicle’s brakes squealing). We look back and it turns out to have been an enormous caterpillar spinning a cocoon and was not a tornado. Everything is quiet now that the caterpillar has entered this stage and is vertically oriented within the giant cocoon, apparently sleeping and not threatening in any way. Additionally, I get the impression that it was not actually chasing us. We just happened to originally be in the area it was coincidentally moving towards during the faux chase. Eventually, I become semi-lucid and personally indulge in sensual pleasures in an offset scenario until I choose to wake.

Resupplemented for a clearer and more detailed explanation on Saturday, 2 December 2017.

There are really two levels to this dream, a natural (biological) ordinary meaning and a spiritual meaning if one is so inclined. On the natural level, a tornado is a factor of RAS and inner ear dynamics as precursory waking symbolism, an extreme augmentation analogous to potential dizziness in real life. In this case, that aspect is validated by a second inner ear dynamic, the potential butterfly flight symbol, which is “frozen” and thus as a result, triggering lucidity against the subdued RAS factor (similar to the “frozen” bird silhouettes in more recent apex lucidity dreams). On one level of course, this dream was at least partly influenced by “Mothra” (a 1961 movie).

Spiritually, tornadoes represent the powerful bottom half of the Merkaba (even in my earliest childhood dreams) and, due to the “raw force” of a tornado, relate to personal dream state alchemy. (In certain trance states of deep meditation, I vividly experience the Merkaba by touching my wife Zsuzsanna on the shoulder, the Merkaba of which appears as two blue tornadoes uniting, rotating in opposite directions, with extraordinarily vivid impressions which I can only describe as seeing hundreds of different wedding ceremonies of different cultures and eras.) The transition from tornado to caterpillar-in-cocoon implies a waiting stage prior to changing into a butterfly (a type of personal ascension or implying the state of readiness for meeting my “dream girl” in real life).

Susan R (the only person other than Zsuzsanna of whom I could ever sense as existing on other levels) and Zsuzsanna (before I knew she was a real person) drew identical vertically-oriented anthropomorphic caterpillars in a top hat (as if one had been traced over the other with even the same stray line) as a part of an otherwise dissimilar story. (One of my relatives was scared and angered by seeing this as most ordinary people do not like the unexplained, though over time, changed their way of thinking and was eventually glad I had found my “dream girl” after so many precise clues over so many years.)

“The caterpillar makes an appearance in a few other places outside ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’, such as 'American McGee’s Alice’ and the novel 'The Looking-Glass Wars’; in both of these spin-offs he plays the role of an oracle.”
