    1. Duel of the Fates

      by , 07-16-2019 at 02:32 AM
I'm viewing a movie scene where Darth Vader is facing a single file line of Jedi. Some filter is applied to the scene so that the one red saber of Vader is now blue and all others appear red. A fight ensues similar in appearance to the Vader scene in Rogue One where he is cutting people down only this time they are Jedi. The last one in line puts up a relatively good fight and knocks Vader's helmet off. When they both go to use the force, the resulting shockwave affects the nearby shielded gantries separating the vacuum of space from the interior and everything begins to be sucked out. I'm now in the scene, running with a few people back up to some main area where other people are at. We begin to worry about the reduced air and it gets harder to breathe.

    2. Awesome Concert

      by , 07-12-2019 at 11:43 PM
I woke up early in the morning and went back to bed attempting to MILD again. Instead of a lucid dream, I was put into several smaller dreams, most with a very vivid piece to them.

I'm on a road trip to a brew fest on a bus with many people. The bus gets parked and we have most of the day to do whatever. I feel bad because the same people who brought the bus to carry everyone in were also the ones who brought some kind of house for everyone to stay in. I tell myself that I will buy some groceries so I'm contributing something. Someone mentions that they just saw one of the coolest concerts ever and I'm suddenly in a sky camera view in a stadium with the concert. It's a group consisting of 3 DJ's or mixers similar to Swedish House Mafia or Glitch Mob as well as an entire orchestra. The two groups mix perfectly together with an occasional solo from a single violin or cello that is accented by the beat still being given by the DJ's. I'm surprised that the instrumentalists can keep up with the beat of the song. Then they start to play covers of Star Wars music which is also cool.

In another dream, it feels like I have a movie view for some of it and first person view in others. I'm watching Anna Kendrick and a few of her friends walk into a prom reception which is a super fancy locale surrounded entirely by a pool. They have to walk through the pool, about knee deep , to get into the reception. Once inside., the lighting is super cool because everything appears in gray scale except for the decorations hanging from the ceiling and the centerpieces on all the tables which are vibrant colors.

Fragment 1 - With F in hotel or cabin - clearly feels like a form of temporary escape or travel-like lodging. There are layers that we're stacking in order to block this one segment of the house, we try to rearrange them in several different ways. For some reason we don't want to go outside, there's a deep sense of fear. The colors white and black are prominent.

Fragment 2 - In big field helping my dad move something (folding wooden ladder-like structure like an attic pull-down door, but huge. Dad loads it into back of vehicle, I'm laying my body on/across the top of it (several stories up) to "support it". We're driving across a daylit green field. Suddenly he's at the top with me. I see a roach and tell him, it turns out to be a scorpion, he squishes it and it oozes black ichor. Important colors - green, blue, black, wood-brown.

Fragment 3 - Nighttime, in hotel that is based off an elongated version of my apartment block; I'm walking around the outer perimiter and can see in to people's windows clearly. I round the corner and enter the hallway to a seemingly endless hallway of doors. I get spooked by the fact that they're all closed and think about the connection between doorways and expectation and become lucid.

Lucid 1 - I enter the door and see a strange sight - my hairdresser from childhood to the beginning of college, in an all-white small square room. She's a stocky woman with short dyed-red hair in her trademark white and red-dotted shirt and matching shorts. She's standing in the right-backmost corner, facing the wall. To her right there's a black trash can on the floor with her head in it, looking at me. I approach her and say her name, then wake. Important colors - black, white, and red.

Dream 1 - F and I go to an after-hours college professor's dinner. She's rumored to be a murderer or seductress; this is connected to fragments 1 and 3, maybe she's what we were fearing? Here I see several of my high school friends, and we jab at each other for not staying in touch. The woman enters the room and we are all on guard. I can't remember if she killed anyone. Maybe we played a board game or discussed a book. The room was distinct, a deep red.

Note - all of my dreams were extremely emotional and marked by color.
    4. Last Month's Tasks of the Month

      by , 05-11-2016 at 10:40 PM
I've gotten a little behind again. I've been having some pretty interesting dreams, but I haven't written most of them down, so they are pretty much gone now.

I do remember a lucid dream I had a few days ago. I did two of the Tasks of the Month...from last month. I hadn't gotten on and read the new tasks yet, so in my mind I was still thinking of the tasks I never completed last month.

      Dream:

I don't remember what I was doing. I may have been flying or standing on something high. I suddenly knew I was dreaming so I swooped down flying and immediately thought about completing the tasks of the month that I had been wanting to do, which were to drain the color out of something and to eat something inedible.

I landed next to a table that reminded me a little of my dad's model train table when I was little. I saw a lot of plastic items on the table. I wasn't sure what they were, but that didn't matter--I was going to drain their color. I started by focusing on this smooth rounds red thing. In just a few seconds it had faded to grey. I had known this would be easy.

I then focused on a yellow item. Then blue. Each time willing them to lose their color. I was satisfied by that point.

I then decided to look for something inedible to eat. I saw a small empty soda can, the kind that is about half as tall as the regular ones. I stuffed the whole thing in my mouth. I was glad it was not the full sized can. It took some work to crush it with my teeth. I got it condensed down quite flat...as if I had stepped on it. I kept chewing. I wondered if it would ever get small enough for me to swallow it. I was pretty sure that was required to be able to count it.

At this point I noticed the dream fading. I couldn't let that happen. I'm not sure what I did but the dream came back. I still had the can in my mouth. I continued to chew. I was happy to notice that is was finally dissolving. I felt the metal pieces in my mouth get smaller and smaller until they were gone.

I may have been talking to someone next. I think I was telling them how I am good at changing things in my dreams. I had out my left arm. I said that I would make it big. I watched it grow until it was cartoonishly large. Next I made it skinny until it almost looked like a stick figure arm.

I felt satisfied at my accomplishments.

      And that's all I remember.
    5. Minor Difference DILD

by , 11-10-2015 at 08:58 PM (Inner World حلم Gamma Waves)
I found myself in my father room and for some reason I was already semi lucid. I felt like I knew it was a dream, so I got up and open the door to the living room. Once I saw that one side of the sky from the windows were blue and one the other side was orange which indicated the sun. I agree that I am in a dream. I made my vision zoom in on the walls to see if everything look like it would in waking life. The difference was that the color of this wall was orange while it is suppose to be brown.

I decided to check the garage and see what look different there. Once I open the garage door what I notice first was that there were to air bags lift all the way up to the ceiling. I didn't find here to be much of a change. I then lost focus of the fact of being in a dream and became non-lucid. Soon after having a false awakening, I wake up in my father room with a person telling me did I have a lucid dream? I said barely, he then stated could've been a false awakening. I didn't understand that he was trying to tell me I had a false awakening and that I am still dreaming.

I wake up not long after this. Lucidity Time: 55 seconds
    6. Balloon and Mantra (WILD + FAs)

      by , 04-22-2015 at 07:21 PM
Ritual: WTB 2:30am, woke up to work from 5:30 to 6:30am, realized I'd drunk too much coffee before bedtime and have trouble going back to sleep. I figure as long as I'm insomniac, might as well try for LD and take some L-theanine and alpha-GPC. I try counting but have trouble focusing, realize I need more motivation so resolve on a task. I had been thinking earlier about the use of mantras for getting lucid, and I've had trouble deciding on one so I thought I should ask a DC.

WILD, "Balloon and Mantra": Since it seemed to initiate directly from the waking state, I guess this was a WILD though there was no distinct experience of transition, at least in the way I usually experience it (shifting into dream while continuing to perceive that I am lying in bed). At the beginning it felt more like hypnagogic imagery that I was playing around with, but gradually acquired more solidity and focus. (Or maybe that's the "normal" way people do it, haha.)

I'm on top of a building, playing catch with two other girls. We're throwing a ball around between us counter-clockwise. The girl to my left spikes the ball to make it hard for me to catch, so I retaliate by throwing it right back at her when she's not expecting it, instead of continuing to pass to the other girl. She says it's not fair because she wasn't paying attention. I retort that I did it because of the way she was playing.

The game becomes more leisurely and the ball becomes a balloon. I sit down and I'm practicing moving it telekinetically. The balloon is making the kind of strange echoing sounds that you hear when handling real balloons, only strongly magnified. I'm impressed with the way my mind can conjure that unusual but distinctive sound which I probably haven't heard in years. Although the sound component of the dream is impressively vivid, the visuals are terrible. The whole scene is in grainy black and white, and the balloon is white too, which makes it very hard to see against the sky when I bounce it up into the air. At one point I launch it away from me and lose sight of it altogether. When I go to summon it back, instead of the balloon returning to my hand, my right hand is contorted with a strange sensation, like it's being squeezed.

Around this time, everything switches over to bright color, brilliant blues and pinks. It happens as suddenly as turning on a light, and makes everything look much more vivid and cheerful. I figure this is REM switching on more fully, and comment to one of the DCs, "Hey, color just kicked in!" I notice that instead of the two girls, there are now at least a dozen of them, and they seem to be having a dance party. I hear a bouncy pop song playing in the background.

I get up and wander through the group, then suddenly I remember the task I had designated as I went to sleep. I approach a girl at random. She's dressed very unusually and elaborately, probably day residue from a Chinese painting I was looking at in WBTB, and I'm doubtful about whether she will be able to help, but figure it can't hurt to ask.

      Exploding match?-tangyin_poem-red-leaf_sm.jpg

"I'm looking for a lucid dream mantra," I begin, then think I should explain more clearly what I mean. "Something that—"

"Who is your mantra?" she interrupts. It's such an odd question that I stop and look more closely at her. Her face is pretty but blank.

"That was my question," I reply, then wait to see if she'll have anything more helpful to offer.

"Who is your mantra?" she repeats, in exactly the same tone and words, like a broken record.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out," I insist. This is going nowhere. Reaching back with two hands I grasp the edges of a cloth, as though it were a scarf I were wearing around my neck, and draw it over both our heads. Now the two of us are alone in the dark, face to face, with just a bit of the background peeping through under the edges of the cloth behind her. Although I had performed the gesture instinctively, my intention was to blot out the distractions so I could try to communicate with the girl more effectively. A more rational course would have been to find someone else to ask, or ask the dream directly, but I got too caught up in my determination to try to make her understand. My approach was not helpful, however, as this deconstruction of most of the dream environment makes me lose traction and wake up.

FAs: I had gotten up and was nearly ready for work. I went to use the bathroom before leaving and stood there dumbfounded: everything else looked normal, but the toilet was gone! I recognized immediately what this must mean. "You've got to be freakin' kidding me," I said aloud. Usually I would be delighted to realize I was still dreaming, but this time I already felt like I'd invested a lot of time in getting ready for my day, and now I would have to do it all over again, so I was actually annoyed.

My lucid awareness must have been pathetically low, because instead of doing something cool with the dream or thinking of one of my many fallback tasks, I stood there until I had successfully conjured the toilet back into place, because I still wanted to use it! Then I noticed that the clarity of the dream was waning and in an attempt to restore focus, told myself: "Open your eyes." But I accidentally opened my real eyes, waking up! It was a fail on so many levels.

I wanted to get back to the dream state so again I tried to play along with hypnagogic visuals. I had an image of a three medieval-looking riders in a wooded hillside. There was a male, a female, and one other. I was loping after them in the form of a wolf. The scene felt stronger and more stable than the usual hypnagogic imagery, but less tangible than a fully manifested dream. I realized that I instinctively knew the names of the man and the woman. (I suspect the indistinct third was their servant or page.)

After I had nearly caught up with the riders, I worried that if they noticed me in wolf form they might shoot me with an arrow, so I transformed into a woman (nude, I noticed) and caught their attention. They turned around one exclaimed, "A forest sprite!"

I "woke up" (I might have even had a vague sense at the time that it was not a real waking, since it still felt too "thin" for a proper dream) and tried to write down their names on my computer. The man's came so easily that it left no trace in memory, but the woman's name took me a lot of effort to type correctly, and I kept making mistakes and having to fix them. On the bright side, this meant that I still remembered it clearly when I woke up for real later. Her name was "Gwynrse," which I took to be Welsh.

    7. Backyard Hotel

      by , 11-27-2014 at 06:05 AM (The Kestrel's Dreams)
      November 22, 2014

I was at home, and my mom had taken a trip of some sort. It was indefinite in length, and apparently when it's just dad, we just drink a lot of beer?

I was walking out in the backyard, and found out my parents had bought the field behind the house and built a hotel on the land. From the outside it appeared to be just a huge concrete cube or something. Rather ugly in general.

But when I went inside, I was blown away at the exotic beauty of the whole place. It was wide-open but also cramped in a very colorful way. I walked around the first floor, and was fascinated with all of it. The dining area was all sort of carved or shaped out of natural clay and then painted and textured with bright colors. The stools were in all different shapes and sizes. No two tables were the same. There were also quite a few mirrors all around the building.

At some point I had to go to the bathroom. It was a largish room with separate little rooms for stalls, and low-lit. It was co-Ed. When I was in my stall, there was a knock on the door and a face popped over the top, they told me and everyone else in the stalls to stand up for some sort of game/bonding experience...

After I managed to get out of that situation, I was sitting in my backyard watching a sky-writer that was hired for the opening of the hotel. But apparently the sky-writer was in a bad mood, because he was writing out peoples' deppest, darkest secrets.

    8. 10-5-14 "You're the epitome of idiocy."

      by , 10-09-2014 at 05:44 PM
There was this huge mansion where all the lamps were alive and worked as household servants. The color of their lampshades determined their status in the household. The darker the color, the higher the position. One had a light-blue-colored shade, and she found a big tub full of black dye. Needless to say, she was soon very important.

A highbrow British terrorist hijacked an airplane and threw the pilot overboard. As he flew away, he muttered under his breath, "Who did that guy think he was? You, sir, are the epitome of idiocy".

I am standing next to Egberto Gismonti , who is seated in front of our piano . The room is dark but we can see each other . He is improvising , playing melodies and chords . With each phrase or expression , he is creating a pure luminous rectangle of color , of great beauty , and these rectangles are assembled in front of us in the air . The colors express the feeling and 'vibration' for want of a better word , of the musical chords . All the rectangles appear to be of Golden Section proportions . We are both just very happy to experience this creation and do not need to speak .

    11. Pizza World Takes Over, Quad Ride With Family, Woman in Skirt

by , 08-30-2013 at 12:31 PM (The Redeeming Dreamer)
      8/30/2013, 10:20-6:59

I meditated twice before going to sleep. I wrote down some stuff that happened in my day journal. I did a mantra before falling asleep in bed, "I remember my dreams." Last, I also woke up at 3:55, and stayed up for 3 minutes till 3:58.I ended up with two pretty vivid dreams and one dream fragment.

      Dream 1:

There was a pizza world and a color world floating through space. The color world had red, blue, green, and yellow "yarn" sown onto it. There was also a basement somewhere else in space (the basement of the universe? ). The controllers of these two worlds, and a few of their associates, were in this basement. It seemed as though the pizza world leader had the color world leader in chains attached to the ceiling. There was a single light bulb that kept swinging and was the only light source in the basement (might have been earthquakes or basement shaking?).

The pizza world leader was interrogating the color world leader like a lawyer, with
his hands behind his back, palm in palm. Every time the color world leader answered a question wrong, water was spilled on his face and the pizza world grew bigger. The pizza world leader was torturing the color world leader. This went on for a while until the pizza world took over the color world. The dream eventually ends with a bunch of pizza on the "camera".

      Dream 2:

I remember going on a quad ride with my family. We used the two quads, and managed to fit four people on them. We went up into the woods, on some path. There were a few ditches and mountains and stuff. Eventually the path we were on ended, and we started heading back. I then fell off one of the quads, probably my brother, J's. I was then going to go on Dad's because J kept going and didn't stop for me. I was fine with that because J drives like a madman. Mom got off Dad's quad and said she'd walk.

We kept going till we found J's quad trapped in a ditch. He tried to get out of it backwards, but flipped the quad over as we passed! The dream ends there.

      Dream 3:

I remember looking at a Caucasian blonde girl. She had a cute skirt on, and her shirt might have been white (possibly Catholic school uniform?). She had no panties on, and was lifting her skirt up. I almost got to see her vagina, then the dream ends .

    12. 9th June 2013 Intense WILD entry, Changing wing colors

by , 06-09-2013 at 12:00 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
Dream recall from today's nap, haven't had intense entry into WILD like that before, haha, fits that i recently had talk in chat about not experiencing much vibrations.

I am in my bed, after a while everything starts shaking and i have dream feeling, i just go with it and shaking becomes even more intense, like an earthquake, so intense that it throws me into air and almost off the bed, making me open eyes. I take control of the situation and stop them. I am in my room, looks pretty close to my room in waking life. I go to balcony, rub hands and jump off, i feel wings and start the flight, i look around and notice that i can actually see base of my wings this time, i easily change color of them a few times, stopping at black. Then i fly near some building and about to go with summoning, but dream fades out and i wake up.
    13. A Night of Human Pachinko - My first recollected, semilucid dream.

      by , 12-26-2012 at 08:13 PM
I fell asleep last night peacefully after Christmas dinner, after all family went home expecting little to occur other than to attain rest and respite from my Girlfriend's absence, who is on a trip to Indiana now(which is very far from our home city of Albuquerque). As I slowly dosed off, I couldn't really remember or realize I was in any dream till I woke up at 7 AM today, took my dog out to use the restroom, then came back in and got in bed. It was then, once I lost consciousness, my first semi-lucid dream occurred...

I'm sitting in a rather abstract living room that gives off an aura of being similar to one of my good friend's living rooms. I'm sitting on a couch awkwardly positioned in front of a large screen television, playing a Super Mario game with children with no easily recognizable identity. Having fun at first I slowly realize that I don't actually have controller in hand, and that every child there is slowly disappearing. Not concerned, I continue to (somehow) play the game regardless until no one is in the room playing with me. At this point, a person with a face walks in, though it isn't a face I necessarily recognize. She's a women, seemingly in her late twenties to early thirties. She gives me the impression of being a family relation, though one I've not encountered before. She begins questioning me about what I'm doing. In response I attempt to explain Super Mario from the perspective of someone trying to get her to play along with me, seeing as all other players have disappeared. I get around half way finished doing this when suddenly I seem to have teleported into the TV, yet Super Mario isn't what's on display anymore. Instead, I'm greeted with the sight of a face-less -shapeless crowd-like entity, looking on into an arena in which I, and many others are standing, wearing color coated clothing (Though I can't recall the colors now, I know they varied from groups of people and were all similar to single color unitards). Some men were stuffed into very tightly fitting hamster-balls, requiring them to curl up into a tight human ball in order to fit. Then suddenly a burst of joy came from the crowd as one of the human balls were loaded up into the first section of a strange device. It glowed red, and appeared to have the aesthetic of an old treasure chest, if that same treasure chest had been imported to the TRON universe, and then re-styled graphically to fit in with a rather cartoonish color pallet, just like the rest of this dream now. However, as they pressed a trigger to launch the first person fourth into a now revealed massive ball-rollercoaster, the machine stopped functioning. A loud yell called over to me over an announcement speaker, informing me that it was my duty to fix the machine. Knowing not what to do, I ran over, jumped on top of the machine, hunched over like a spider to retain balance, and stomped on it. It worked. The human-hamster-ball was catapulted fourth with great speed and power, shooting down tracks as if on an oil-slick. Then suddenly, bam, smacks right into the second non-functioning part of the ride. Exactly like the red chest, this new chest only differed in the sense that it glowed yellow. Fixing it in the same manor I fixed the red one, the hamsterballman was launched once more from red to yellow, this time flowing through yellow and somehow speeding up like crazy, even blasting through a loop in the track without losing any momentum. Then in a third instance of failure, he smashed into both a wall and a third chest, this one green, at the same time. Backtracking all the way through the strange game-track, I ran over to the green chest, mounted and stomped on it, noticeably needing to do more than previous to get the chest to function. However, it was fixed, just like all the rest. Looking back down to the beginning of the track, I saw that the hamsterballman's hamsterball had broken. He was slowly fading away, everyone panicking, yet another man preparing to get into a light turquoise hamsterball. Rushing down to the scene, I warned the light blue hamsterball man of his fate. I suddenly felt a friend-like bond to this man, despite not truly knowing his face. I remember he had a goatee, and dual pony tails. He had dirty blonde hair, and a freckled dirty face, that if anything else, reminds me of a genderbent pippy long-stocking. He simply nodded in response to my warnings however, got into his ball, and was loaded by the others into the machine. He was launched. Red catapulted him to yellow, yellow launched him through the loop at higher speed, he hit green and was seemingly bound to the wall with a strange green oily substance that let out a strange syrup-like smack as he ran up the wall. He then made it to the cat walk, where I remember faintly a light purple door awaiting him on the rafters. Yet unfortunately I don't know what became of this man, seeing as I woke up shortly after that, and began writing this.
    14. Mutants

      'twas interesting

I step into my school in a dark green suit
which would normally as that's my regular wear but I don't own a green suit
and I come across a figure in a hoodie whose face was to dark under the shadow to see. He was starting to approached me and his eyes glowed orange as he stepped closer, his eyes started to grow brighter and glowing orange claws sprung forth from is hands. He started to dash about 6 ft away from me when a larger figure came out of nowhere and blindsided the poor orange fellow. This man's eye's emanated a neon blue color
There's more but I feel like this is enough for anyone to get the jist of the dream, this wasn't lucid, but, it was interesting...
    15. Bleeding Love

by , 04-09-2012 at 02:30 PM (Adventures in Dreamland)
A group of four people are gathered to do some sort of competition. Beside me stands a guy much taller and muscular than I am, a woman with long hair that seems to be about my age (20ish), and a gothic loli (meaning that she was indeed a loli, wearing gothic lolita clothing.)
We are given shots in our arms, which are then wrapped with white gauze. The girl that is around my age looks over at me, seeing a pool of red building up on the gauze. She asks me if I'm okay, pointing it out to me. I tell her that I'm fine and that I didn't feel anything, then the instructors explain that the color of the 'bleeding' represents the thing that we desire most. Somehow, I know immediately that mine is love. I look at the others, but I don't remember what their colors were.
I don't remember very much of this dream, but I do know that the 'contest' (There were no losers. I think that at least two of us won.) supposedly spanned over days. The big muscular guy went off by himself, as did I for a bit. It didn't take long for me to team up with the girls, though, and my desire was fulfilled when I fell in love with the loli girl.
I also vaguely remember going out into the fields to find the muscular guy, and that part of the competition required us to run dungeons.

I remember swimming in the water, but I have some sort of thing to help me do it. I don't really remember what it was. Hell, it could have been a boat. There was some sort of pet that I had. I'm thinking it was a Tofu.

My Little Pony toys at McDonalds drive-through. I remember getting really frustrated at them cause they were making a big deal out of whether I asked for a boy or a girl toy, not even bothering to ask me.

MaximumRevolver and I are walking around a bookstore, looking for some girl. We never find her.
