    1. Demon Possessed Corpses

      by , 02-10-2016 at 01:20 AM
There was a battle between humans and demon-possessed human corpses. After fighting off the demons in a few locations, me and the crowd of people I was with settled into a large house near the coast that faced an inlet. There were only a few of the demons roaming around there. I had no weapons and could not fight the demons so I would close the door of the house to keep the demons out. I was very scared of them.

I don't remember the exact moment I became lucid but I had frequently been taking trips to the locations where the demons had been conquered. I had been flying to the locations and then hovering around trying to find out what was going on with the demons, why they were invading and why there were so many of them. I eventually realized I was dreaming because of the flying and floating. Even though I realized I was dreaming, I was still caught up in the story of the dream and worried that my body was sleeping in a place where I was vulnerable to demons. I took a couple flights through the sky but mostly hovered and levitated around the house, showing the other people, including my parents. My parents did not like it, but a teenage girl did like it and was very excited to tell her mom. None of the other dream characters could fly.

Some of my flying attempts were unsuccessful and I would jump up and gently land on the floor. I had to maintain a relaxed concentration to hover or fly well. I was so excited about being able to fly because the demons in their corpse bodies could not fly so it was the perfect way to avoid them. I also thought I might use powers like shooting energy out of my hands to fight the demons. I did eventually realize that since I was dreaming there weren't really any demons, and that was kind of disappointing. At times the dream became so ordinary, just me being inside the house with the other people, that I had to convince myself that I was still dreaming. I did so my telling myself that if I weren't dreaming anymore I would have remembered waking up, and I hadn't remembered waking up, so that is how I knew I was still dreaming. Then I just looked around at how real everything looked.

I eventually lost lucidity and the dream continued until I woke up.

    2. Demon Dogs

Original entry on March 18, 2008:

So first I dreamed about this one river, and it was very very polluted, and these guys decided to go fishing. Only they found this one invisible island. At first it seemed like a really wonderful, idyllic place, and this nice old lady invited them inside.

Note: if a "nice old lady" invites you ANYWHERE, it's a good idea not to go. In fact, run really fast in the opposite direction.

Anyway, so of course they listened to her, and they went into this house and down these stairs into this, like, underground mansion thing. Which seemed really great and everything at first, but then they started to notice discrepencies in stuff that they didn't notice at first. The woman had a pet dog, like a big mastiff, only it seemed a little strange sometimes, like it couldn't quite fit entirely inside of its form. Like sometimes the walls would flicker, or there'd be stains where there shouldn't be, or the furniture or the stuff hanging in the closet would seem really weird for a second, that sort of thing. Then one of them made the mistake of looking behind the shower curtain and there were a bunch of skinned bodies hanging there. So all of the sudden the illusion fell away and they realized that they were in a structure made entirely of bones and decomposing bodies and other stuff like that, the remains of people and animals and stuff. She'd fed some of them to her "dog", which was actually this huge demonlike thing. So anyway, she turned out to be a pretty ooglay monster thing herself, and chased them. They jumped into the river and managed to get to their village. The mayor, who was a woman, and looked strangely... well, familiar... led an expedition to the island with a bunch of big tough guys, only when they got there the place was deserted and all of the bones and stuff were dried up.

Ok, dream number two, there's this really busy police office and they're trying to catch this one serial killer dude who's responsible for a bunch of really gruesome murders. But well the police office is really busy, and they're very overworked and everything. They get this call from this one woman who seems to sort of be freaking out, there's a bunch of growling and snarling in the background that sounds like really pissed off dogs, and she's asking them to send people over. The cops are like, "We're really busy and we'll send animal control, ok?" and then they hang up before she can say anything. So the woman's stranded on the bed with her two kids, and she DOES own a doberman, only it's sort of dead right now because she's being attacked by evil vicious snarling demon-babies. And one of them goes after her kid so she winds up wrestling with it and it sinks its teeth into her arm.
So the cops are looking at this newspaper clipping later on, and the headline is "Woman And Children Found Dead In Bedroom, Eaten". And they chalk it up to this serial-killer who's been going around. They just can't seem to catch the guy.
    3. Zombies and Pine Trees

Original journal entry dated April 28th, 2002:

I woke up with blood under my fingernails, and all over my blankets for that matter. I don't remember any of my dreams but I guess I must have been having more nightmares. In any case, I tore my face up but good and was hoping that nobody would notice this morning, which they didn't, which is good.

The first dream was about a city. I think it was in England. It was old, and I was in the past, maybe Puritan times, I dunno. It was somewhere cold, rocky, and misty.
There was a plague in the village, and there was always a procession of corpses being carried to the graveyard. I suppose, then, that the plague was bad, but not so bad to the point where they couldn't bury all of the bodies.
And yet, everybody was dead. Maybe not DEAD dead, but dead inside. Except that one man murdered his wife, and then the Priest came and they took away the body... one more dead person, despite the cause, didn't matter... and then, either I died or my wife died, but I can't remember which. But there was a crazy, crazy old lady in one of the more dilapidated houses, and she wielded an axe... nobody went there, and maybe she died of plague, or maybe she DIDN'T die because nobody went there. But my wife died (I was male in the dream). Or maybe I did. And they said a few prayers, and everything was washed over with gray... there was an old stone building, it was haunted... come to think of it, the whole town was haunted... and all muddy... it was miserable.

And then the other dream. My brother and mother and I were living in bare shacks high up on stilts, in the mountains. It was snowy and windy and very cold. They had wooden planks for floors, and the wind whistled through the chinks. When I looked out, I could see the tops of pine trees.
