    1. cccxiv. Underground cult

      by , 08-05-2021 at 06:41 PM
      4th August 2021

Poor recall, didn't feel particularly motivated to write initial notes either.

      Fragment:

First I'm in some kind of hidden little place. It reminds me of a chapel. Arabesque. There's a woman and she helps me in some way? I stop some psycho in our midst from killing someone because I already knew he was going to try something, as I saw a hidden blade in his hand, but I wait until I can catch him in the act.

There's some context of a cult. Cho'Gall makes a brief appearance, we speak or maybe I eavesdrop, not sure. At some point I'm getting ready to leave and everyone is wishing me goodbye. I have a lot of things to carry, two backpacks and some other items, plus my old boots to carry in my hand because I'd put away my newer ones in the backpack by mistake. I feel pressed so decided I should swap them later on.

      (gap)

I'm outside, at the entrance to that place. It's a little secluded cove bit, with sand, water and so on. It's sort of below a bigger hotel complex that is on top of a reinforced hill. (certain aspects remind me of old home but details are gone)

At some point, I start jumping from place to place, over the water. I find some secret collectible books and think that they are quite obvious finds and that they need to try harder. At the edge of town(?) or something, there are some ancient ruins, half Greek, half Elvish. On some level, I dismiss this as part of an asset mismatch or incorrect loading (as if this was part of a game).

(another dream later on but recall was lost)

      Notes:

      - It's peculiar that Cho'Gall appeared in the dream. He's not a character I've ever had any particular attraction to but also not an unmemorable character for me. Considering his intellect in lore, I feel that his symbolic meaning may relate to brutish wisdom or some part of hidden wisdom, a concept a bit reinforced by the fact that he is a cult leader, both in this dream and during certain events in WoW lore (i.e. Cataclysm for one?).

      - There was something familiar to the architecture both of the hotel and the "hidden" chapel place, reminds me of some hotels I remember we stayed at when I was a kid.
    2. The Cove Cave with Cage...

      22nd of June, 2012

I discovered with Nooks a hidden cove beside I mountain that, when you went down into the water, had a sweet shallow-water cave leading off it. We swam into the cave and, when we emerged from the water, were suddenly involved in a film shoot involving Nicholas Cage. I had this cool DSLR video camera to film with and was looking through all the footage on it which showed all these amazingly shot, elegant, beautifully colored scenic scenes of waterfalls and rainbows. So for a little while I was the cameraman on this film which had basically no story line but involved Nick Cage in houses and other random places..

Somehow that faded and I was driving in a car with my Nana on a dirt road above the cove from before. Suddenly she swerved and the car fell into the water but became a jet-ski which we rode into the cave again. On entering, we began placing mine-cart tracks and riding along the rails while digging out the walls all Minecraft style. The cave slowly filled up with people also mining away and then Professor Snape began to make these two Barbie-type dolls have sex. I told him he was being childish and that he should be more professional.

      ------

Ahh man! There was another awesome one this morning which I forget now. I'll update this later if I remember. Watch this space!

      Edit:I remembered!!

Okay, so I was floating/swimming in this large harbour area "eating" boats and harbourside buildings. Eating basically involved me reaching out toward the object and trying to touch it which would make it slowly start disintegrating from where I touched. Even though things looked far away, I could reach them all- almost like we were missing a 3rd dimension or something. Anyway, I ate a couple of Cruise Ships and some buildings and a sea plane and then I got full from eating too many things. (lol, just writing this is making me weirded out!)
So I climbed aboard an Aircraft Carrier where I helped land some more sea planes, and then went into the cafe, which teleported me to a similar cafe in a small town. There I ordered a spring roll which I was told would take about 2 minutes to cook, so in the mean time I went and had a small party in the dining area. Now that I think about it, I think it was some kind of Uni lodging or something.

      It was strange.

    3. I Hate It When You Can't Remember a Lucid

      by , 12-09-2011 at 04:38 PM
      Dream 1
I was in the first mission of Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare where you are on a boat. I went through the mission as usual and then ran like the wind to the helicopter. I didn't jump onto the boat I just ran.

      Dream 2
I was in the Middle East it looked like Battlefield 3 and I became lucid at one point. I flew around with all my equipment. I hate it when you can't remember a dream when you go lucid.

      Dream 3
I'm in a cove with WWE wrestlers and a person starts explaining how to be accepted by Americans and how Wade Barrett is now called Barry in the US.

      Fragment
I'm in a clothes shop and there was a 50% off discount.

      Side Notes

    4. 11/17/2010 - "Blood in the Water"

      "Blood in the Water"

I was in a sunlit cove, but deep within the hull of an enormous, old ship. Also on the ship was a coven of vampires, and I vaguely remember a small number of lycans, but I'm not 100%. MJ was with me, along with a few other unfortunate humans, and we were being held in the ships bowels. Apparently, I and a few others were going to be turned, against our will. MJ and the rest were going to be completely drained, and/or eaten. This coven consisted of dozens upon dozens of vampires on board, and only a handful of us. We knew we had no chance of escape, but we were going to fight like Hell.

...It wasn't really much of a fight.

There was a long sequence of watching the vampires just rip through our numbers, brutally tearing humans limb from limb and gorging themselves on the seemingly gallons of blood that soaked the chambers and hallways. People screamed and ran for their lives. The sounds of a slaughter filled the entire vessel. I don't remember what it was, but a few of us - the last alive - figured out a way to blow up the ship. It was something of a suicide mission, but it was the only possible thing to do.

I remember the explosion. The ship's hull had been completely sealed from the sunlight, for obvious reasons. But when the ship exploded, nearly killing me and - as far as I could tell - the other survivors, all of that sunlight was unobstructed. It flowed into the void that used to be an enormous ship, while the ship, itself, was literally blown to pieces. Most of the vampires were instantly obliterated. I was thrown into the water, and remember beginning to sink. I swam toward the surface, as fast as I could, but I kept feeling someone grabbing at me, frantically, from below. It was a vampire, and there were more of them surrounding me. I paddled for the surface with my arms in a panic, kicking my feet - more to keep the pursuing hands from getting a grip, than trying to actually go upward. Luckily, when I got to the surface, I was floating in a bath of sunlight. The vampire completely stopped giving chase. Not a single one of them could swim those last few feet, to reach me. Looking down at the vampires, with my head still underwater, was an amazing sight (though creepy as all shit). The top section of the water was a layer of orange from the sun, and it just got progressively darker blue, beneath. And there were those creatures; just staring at me, descending into the darkness because they couldn't come any further. (It sticks out in my head as the most distinct visual of the dream. I may draw it, one of these days. Here is a photo manipulation, for now. )

On the surface, rescued by a blistering sun, I slung my arms over a piece of debris - exhausted. Incredibly, I had no fear of the vampires being able to reach me, and I completely relaxed, with the lower half of my body still hanging in the water. I looked around and saw no one. There was nothing but wooden planks scattered around me; remnants of the great ship, which was probably still sinking beneath me. I was sure I was the last one to make it out, though I was not surprised, since there weren't many of us left, in the beginning of the end. But I was wrong. I finally spotted another figure in the debris, hanging on for her life, just as I was. It was MJ. She and I were the only ones that had made it out alive.

I swam over to her and we just allowed ourselves to float with the current, for a moment. By this time - seemingly out of nowhere - there were other people in the cove, large boats just floating passed and around us. One would have guessed that the massive explosion had never happened, if not for the large piece of wood we were floating on. We tried to wave people over, to pick us up, but all of the boats just traveled on by, as if they didn't see us. We could see that the driver of one of the larger boats was a man with a shotgun. We called out to him to let us aboard, but he just glared at us as his boat hummed passed, not saying a word. Finally, though, we made it back to land, on our own. The atmosphere seemed to have changed again, and this was now just a massive party; people dancing and drinking in the, quite beautiful surroundings of rock and water. Instantly, our spirits were lifted. We got to partying our asses off, with the unspoken understanding that some serious 'We fucking survived!' sex was in order.

Woke up before we got that far, though.

    5. Sunken boat in the cove

by , 11-04-2006 at 06:00 AM (Visions in the Dark)

Many people are gathered on the beach when a challenge is presented to see who can swim all the way around the cove. The starting point is the beach and the finish line is the docks. All of the swimmers stop for a rest at the sand bar and some of them try to dive down to an old boat that has sunk in the deepest part of the cove. No one can seem to hold there breath long enough, though. The challenge to swim to the docks is all but forgotten as everyone is more interested in reaching the small shipwreck.

When it is my turn I am successful in reaching the sunken boat. It looks like a small wooden fishing boat and it is laying upside down in the sand. I see a small gap between the cove bottom and boat that I can slip through. I do not have any scuba gear or a flashlight but I want to get underneath the boat. The sunken boat settles into the sand as I go underneath and I become trapped just as I am starting to run out of air.

I almost panic, but quickly find that I can lift the boat through the water if I kick my legs hard enough. I push the boat up onto the sand bar for everyone to see, but the other swimmers get angry at me for disturbing a shipwreck. I am not really fazed by their attitudes because I am just happy that I did not drown. The dream ends there.
