    1. First LD!

      by , 02-05-2017 at 02:01 PM
All of my regular dreams are written in a notebook and I don't want to also type them, so I will have just a few here. Especially the LD.

      In my parents' back yard.
It was not winter, I remember the green grass and leafy trees like in summer.
I do not remember what triggered me to do a RC in the dream, but I pinched my nose and could still breathe, so I realized I was awake in my dream. The first thing I knew I wanted to try was to fly. I jumped up and flew around the yard, then over to the park.

I eventually joined another dream adventure, but still chose to fly while the other DC were running. And they didn't think it was odd that I was flying. I was in the role of the helper or rescuer, since I could fly, I guess.

      D1:
I only remember fragments of this dream. I went outside with some friends.

      D2:
I dreamt that I was with my brother and my cousin and we were on one of the 'Fire Emblem'-Stages from SSB4. I still have this image in my head of seeing me in third-person-view when I noticed that I WAS DREAMING (1st LD)!!!! BUT then I wanted to rub my hands to know how it feels and the moment my hands touched I was kicked out and woke up. I WAS SO UPSET! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN AMAZING DREAM!
    3. my first ld

This is an easy one for me because I could also feel in it. (Feel is used in terms of pressure and not like hot, cold, or pain for this dream.)

I was about 6(irl) when I had my first LD. I went to bed like normal but I woke up again. The first thing I saw was my intestines wrapped around the other end of the spike that I was impaled on. It was to dark to see much of anything else but I could hear other things around me. I could make out what looked like other people on them also. This would not have been that bad but I could feel myself slipping farther down the spike and I could feel my intestines getting caught/ pulled out. I decided to try to climb off of it. As I started to climb I noticed that my hands felt wet and I could smell the blood. I almost made it to the top when I lost my grip and fell farther down the spike. I had to pull myself together to climb back up again. It was harder climbing down once I got off and when I touched the ground I woke up.

    4. College Life 2/20/14

      by , 02-22-2014 at 11:36 PM
So I am in this big city going to some kind of school or college, wierd cuz I'm 14. I'm in this apartment which is in like kind of a forest only 2 blocks away from the school/college. My apartment is almost exactly like my room except for some subtle changes. I walked to class. I can't remember the content of the class, only walking to it. I think that this is where the rem cycle ended. I walk back and see my neighbors at the apartment, one of which is an old man wearing black, and the other is a young girl(my age?). For some odd reason, he tells me" she is a strong one". Not thinking anything of it I go upstairs to my room and play skyrim for a while,( which I haven't played in months.) then I go back to class. After I come I see my brothers car in the drive and get excited. I walk inside where he greets me. Then my nephew( who is like 19 and his girlfriend walks in. Another couple that I Don't recognize come in the door behind them. Then my neighbors come downstairs and the phone rings. I pick it up and it says," It's where you don't want to look. It's in the corner of your eye." Suddenly everyone runs down into the basement except for the old man. I look closely at his face. Very wrinkled and pale. Then he pours this potion that eats away at ur skin like acid on his hand and then touches me. After he goes downstairs, I go upstairs looking for something to cut my arm off so it didn't spread. But then I notice my xbox was on. I then did a reality check and realized I was dreaming. Of course, with my beginners luck, I got too excited and before I could do anything before I woke myself up.

    5. A taste of lucidity

      by , 09-24-2012 at 02:14 PM (Nivv's lucid dreams)
      25th April 2012

I seem to recall something to do with washing my hair prematurely. I am looking at myself in the mirror and find I have very long hair. I move it about. Now I am in geography class, thinking about my long hair. Others do not notice. The class ends. Now, all of a sudden, I question all this and realize I am dreaming. I look at my hands but in the excitement wake myself, with SP for a few seconds. Except for one instant I remember from early childhood, this could be my first time lucid. I haven't added it to my LD count however as it only lasted 5 seconds at most and was very unstable.

    6. First full LD- vivid clarity

      NON-DREAM · NOTES · DREAM · LUCID ·

I have just moved to a new town, where my family and I have moved into a drab, grey apartment. I went next door to visit the neighbors, and to offer to babysit to earn some pocket money.
For some reason, I realised I was dreaming (Light switch failure?) and suddenly the world around me burst into colour, green paint lining the room and cyan skies above. Everything was so vibrant and vivid. I spin around to increase clarity as the scene changes and I jump out the window.
I attempt to fly, but fail and freefall to the ground. I land with little impact, by an abandoned warehouse by a lime green field and try to materialise a broom. One appears, but I cannot fly.

I give up and head out across the fields into town. I see hordes of civilians rushing somewhere, and I want to find out why so I run with superspeed to catch up. I gain tunnel vision and everyone else around me are blurs in slow motion. I join the crowd and run ahead to the front where a little brunette girl names pandora is dancing, skipping and selling her charms as the villagers follow behind her. I'm not too impressed and I hold out my hand with the intent to create some charms. Suddenly I feel as if weighted objects are tumbling out of my hand and into my hand, as long, lime and rose green tubes charms appear in my hand, almost jumbled masses before they form into charms.
I try to create something else, but black liquid oil pours into my hands and a bystander claims that it is liquid chakra.
      ----

I am in a comfy, rustic log cabin with a roaring fire and musky green sofas. Some of my friends are there. I tell Skye that she is dreaming andshe looks shocked, mutters "oh crap" and fades away. Kyra doesn't believe me, even after I grow an extra arm and can see myself in the third person, almost ghostly.
I grow bored and soon find the world fading so i spin and walk into a grey room with machinery. Wake.
    7. First lucid dream!!! Gta plus two false awakings

      by , 01-10-2012 at 09:00 PM
I stayed up reallly late last night and convinced my dad to let me skip school. "Perfect wild oppriantunty," I thought. I dont rember entering sp or anything, just waking up in grand theft auto then realsiseing i dont have gta anymore. I MUST BE DREAMING!!. I almost failed waking myself up, but then i rembered the hand reality check. 6 fingers SWEET! Me and my dad drove around shooting people when we entered a grand canyon area. He was telling me how some people where after us when they pulled up behind us and started shooting. I duck behind the sheat when a bullet hit me, but it didnt hurt. What a weird sensation. We find a cop car burryied in rocks when i wake up in the dream world, outside of grand theft auto. I woke up for real shortly after this. My first LD was amazing and will not be eaisly forgotten.
    8. My first Lucid Dream

      by , 12-09-2011 at 11:35 PM
This happend quite a while ago but I still remember the lucid part of the dream. I was looking at Freddy Krueger and I thought to myself "This is my dream, I can do what I want!" I then tried to use a Kamehameha wave on him but it didn't form and a few moments later I woke up, I assume because he killed me shortly after. I don't know if this would actually be considered lucid, because the only reason I knew I was dreaming is because Freddy was there...dream within a dream? I dunno.

    9. Exploration 01: Before I Was a Lucid Dreamer

      by , 10-02-2011 at 04:11 AM
Dream journals make me uncomfortable. Anytime I've ever tried to write down my dreams, and I've tried a lot, it always seems to diminish the true importance of the dream. I'm sure everyone here has experienced this. So, until I get comfortable enough to start putting my dreams on here, I'm going to write a few entries about my experience with lucid dreaming. This is kind of important anyway, because in order to understand any dreams I post, you kind of have to know my dreams have evolved.

Before I could lucid dream, I had a lot of nightmares. The very first dream I remember having (I think I was about four) was a nightmare:

I walked into a dark cave. In its belly was a massive snake with glowing red eyes, who (of course) could talk.

From then on, my dreams mainly consisted of nightmares. Some of them are slightly hilarious looking back:

A group of teenage boys with tattoos watched and laughed as a fried chicken leg chased me down and tried to eat me.

And some of them are still seriously disturbing:

I was laying in my bed (I was probably five at this point) playing with my favorite Lamb Chop doll. (This doll existed in real life.) It was one of those toys that had the pull-string on the back which you could pull and it would say something like "I love you!" or "Let's be friends!". In the dream, I was pulling on this string, giggling with delight when the doll said "There's a man at your window". I looked up and there was the dark silhouette of a man standing right outside.

But this was nothing compared to what would come later. When I was about six, my parents got me some bunk beds. I didn't have any siblings, so I got to have the bunk bed all to myself. (I would like to clarify, because I definitely don't want anyone to get the wrong impression, that my parents were very poor and I was definitely not given everything I wanted. This was just one of those special presents my parents saved up for.) Being a kid, I was excited to sleep on the top bunk. So I did, for several weeks. Until one day I finally decided to sleep on the bottom bunk. That night I had a dream that topped them all:

I was in a field of burning debris. Looking back, it resembled what we suspect a nuclear fallout would look like. I am running for my life, because I am being chased by a panther. I always instinctively knew it was a panther, even though I was too afraid to stop running or to look back.

Being a superstitious child, I refused to sleep on the bottom bunk again for a long time. Sometimes I would try to be brave (at the behest of my parents) and I would sleep on the bottom bunk again, only to have the same exact dream as before. I was convinced that there was something unlucky about sleeping on the bottom bunk. I realize now that I was actually beginning to control my dreams without realizing it. I had convinced myself that sleeping on the bottom bunk would give me this dream, and it did.

Then one day I overheard my dad telling my mother that he heard something interesting on the radio. If you are having a dream that you are being chased by something, you should simply turn around and ask the thing that is chasing you why it is chasing you in the first place! My parents laughed about this and said something along the lines of "What idiots! You can't just do that in a dream!". But that night, I crept into the bottom bunk without telling my parents (I didn't want to make a big deal of it) and this is what I dreamt:

I was back in the field of debris being chased by the panther. But this time I stopped running immediately and turned around to face the panther. She was beautiful. She stopped immediately and sat down, looking at me curiously. I asked her why she was chasing me. She smiled and said "Ah, you listened to your parents. Good," and sleekly ran away.

I immediately woke up. I can't even begin to explain my excitement. I'm sure I told my parents what happened, but I'm pretty sure they just patted me on the head and told me to go play outside or something. But everything about my life changed from that night. I had a secret super power.

Lucid - Semi Lucid - Not Lucid

      First LD WooHoo !!
      DILD

So it all started out as a flying dream. Setting was above a local shopping center parking lot... the way I was flying was to kind of like the way a kite works. It's how I used to fly in my dreams as a child before I knew what LD was. So I basically will myself into the air and float up and catch the wind... faster flying usually starts after Ive bin up for a bit but sometimes its an instant take off. Anyway this time I was using a something like a nozzle from garden hose to kind of redirect air flow lols.

After a little while other people were flying too and I was quite high up and showing off a little. Then my uncle David happened to join me and which was cool because I usually fly alone. I had never seen Dave fly and we don't see each other very often. We started to drift and lower in elevation until we touched down on a nearby hill. While we were walking back I though..(hmm we were just flying.. omg I must be dreaming..)

So then I decided to test this hypothesis.. rather than remembering to do a typical reality check however I settled on changing something in my environment.. at this time the world was fading and my focus was on Dave.. so .. I said out load "Dave, turn purple" and then he did. It happened fast but not all at once, more like if you put a drop of food coloring into water minus the swirling...anyway I got exited and woke up.

    11. My first LD

      by , 01-07-2011 at 07:43 AM
my first lucid dream happened a few years ago.

i was outside an old gym and for some reason i just said "i am dreaming" when i finished talking i felt like i was being pulled out of the dream, i hold myself onto the ground.

when the feeling stopped i began to fly, i felt something in my eye so i decided to teleport in the bathroom of my house, right in front of the mirror.

when i was there i checked my eye and find out that there was a worm inside of it!
i pulled out and i remember the feeling of that. then i woke up

that was my first lucid dream and then i stopped trying to become lucid (because of the worm)

but a few months ago i was talking to a friend of mine and we started talking about lucid dreaming, so i read a little bit more and i had 3 LD in about 5 months.

Now i'm here and i hope to increase the amount of lucid dreams.

    12. My First Lucid Dream

      by , 07-05-2010 at 08:48 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
I am so very excited to share this!
But anyways, there was also a small dream before it, and I will share that too.

      July 3-4, 2010.

I'm not sure if this one I was lucid or not, but I don't think that I was lucid.

My cousin, her friend and I came to a place with a lot of food, and I think we were supposed to feed someone. Later on, my cuz and her friend got into a fight about something stupid. I shouted, "Don't do this! You guys are supposed to be friends." My cousin's "friend" came up to me and siad, "Fine then." She put her arm around me. "let's be friends." She added. I can't remember what happpened, but they had to leave. My cousin hung her bracelet on some lady's necklace. "Remember." She said. Waved, then walked out. I somehow appeared in their car; it was littered with all sorts of junk.

      My First Lucid Dream:

(Some things in here were not mentioned, for the dream was so long)

I was sitting on the ground outside my house. I was unaware of where I was. I guess I remembered that I was at my dad's house, not my mom's. So just to be sure, I thought it was a dream, I pinched my nose, and breathed in. I'm dreaming! It was the most amazing feeling. I did a couple more, then pinched myself. I didn't feel anything!

Unlike some first LD's, mine did not end. I got excited, but I remembered to calm down. I had so many thoughts swirling around in my head of what to do next. So I just decided to walk around and examine my dreamscape. I walked to where the garage was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. There was a LOT of weird looking animals, I can't exactly explain that scene. I tried to fly; first by jumping up and flapping my arms. I went up in the air for a minute, then fell back down. I tried again, but to no avail. I just stood there for a second and watched a human bird thing pass by. I walked away and went through the front door of "my house".

Inside looked like a giant attic. It had like a brown theme to it. My mom, sister, and brother was there. I told my sister, "Guess what! I'm dreaming." She didn't really believe me. So I said, "You know you're asleep, right?" She was like, "Really?" She was just kinda sitting there in a daze. So I talked to my mother and told her that this was a dream. She wasn't very surprised though. She said something like, "Oh that's great honey."

I forgot to stabilize, so I rubbed my hands together but nothing really changed. Then I wanted to run away so I could shout "clarity now!" out loud. But I just stayed where I was and said it in my mind. After that, lines of vividness and color splashed across the dream scape. It was amazing.

Then I stepped outside. The sky was so amazingly beautiful, it was indescribable. The country of the USA was outlined in red (what was really ironic was that the 4th of July was the next day) in the sky. The sun was behind it too so that it was shining in rays. The clouds were amazing as well. All of a sudden; the world just tilted or the gravity tilted slantwards, like that new movie which I can't remember the name of. I ran inside, and everyone was wondering what was going on. Then, my brother wanted to go fishing. We "clicked" on the door Sims style and pressed "fish all week". Then we popped up in a small brown cabin. All of a sudden, the dream switched to...

I don't know how I got there, but I was still lucid. I wanted to try telekinesis. So I ran up to a girl, focused really hard, then she started floating. Then she was thrown into a pool. Then I woke up.

I really found that dream ironic; for the 4th of July feel.
I hope I have more LDs to come.
