    1. My Sinking flat

      by , 10-17-2012 at 12:21 PM
When i had this dream i was still living in groningen, Holland which was a couple of weeks ago but now im back in NZ.
I was chilling in my flat with my flatmate, Jort, and my friends from NZ, Jazz and Nat aswell as some random asian chick whos name ive forgotten. At some point the flat (a house boat) started to sink and was suddenly surrounded by crocodiles. Next thing i remember Jort has a Skype card i can use to skype my parents, but Nat buys it off him before i could get it. Wasnt very happy with that.

      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

I was in a car with my mom and another woman. It was a grey day, probably a little drizzly. My mom and the woman were driving me somewhere, probably to the border of Holland. We drove under some small, arched stone bridge, like an arched bridge walkway in park.

As we drove to and under the arch, I realized that I really wouldn't be able to get into Holland. I didn't have a passport! I must be in Europe, I thought, if I was close enough to drive to the border of Holland. How did I even get here in the first place, without a passport?

I looked straight up to the underside of the bridge. It was rounded, like the roof of a tunnel. It may have been covered with bricks, or it may have been rough, grey stone.

When we got to the other side I saw a huge obelisk, like the Cleopatra's Needle obelisk in Central Park. But this one was so big I could barely see around the base, and I definitely couldn't see up to the top.

My mom and the woman must have been getting ready to drop me off. But I knew I couldn't go without a passport. But I was ashamed to admit to my mom that I didn't have a passport.

But finally I got up the courage to tell my mom. I was standing out on some wheelchair ramp, like I was in front of a building. When I told my mom, I actually started crying, sorrowfully, as if I was telling my mom something that had to do with some sadness or problem I'd carried with me all my life.

My mom and the woman probably walked hurriedly over to me to hug and console me.

      Dream #2

I was in a gigantic, white building with my mom. The building was something like a museum. But it felt more like some kind of big box store, like a Sam's Club. But it seemed to be humongous, as big as a convention center. The walls were white, and the ceiling may have been glass.

My mom and I were probably here with a group of people, probably including our family members. But we were separated from them. We may have been looking for them or waiting for them. In the meantime, we decided we'd check out some of the exhibits.

I went into a small room off to the right. It was kind of dim. Along the walls were the museum-style diorama wildlife displays. I walked a ways into the room, all by myself, before actually looking at any of the displays.

I turned around, toward the entrance. One of the displays to my left caught my eye. It was apparently a display of some animal like an antelope. The antelope stood in some desert-like area at night -- the background sky was painted dark blue and purple.

But beside the antelope was a long, fallen tree-limb. And writhed around this tree limb was an enormous snake. The snake must have been ten meters long! But it wasn't scaly: it was slightly furry, like a short-hair cat.

I couldn't believe my eyes. So I got closer to the display. I was kind of afraid to: I thought the snake might actually be alive. The snake's skin didn't seem to be as pronouncedly furry as I'd thought. The snake was red, with occasional large, white spots, which may have had black outlines around them.

The snake also didn't seem to have eyes, or even much of a mouth. Its head was pointed down menacingly, but it almost looked like a sock puppet.

But what seemed really to have struck me about the snake was how vividly it was posed. It seemed menacing, alive, because it had been posed in such a dynamic way.

I looked at another display (which I can't remember now). I was again struck by the dynamism of the display. I began to get the idea that this room was all about displaying animals in dynamic, "action packed" situations. This was supposed to be a draw for kids, who had lately been neglecting the parts of the museum with the animal displays.

I thought this was a bad idea. In my opinion, the display I'd just been looking at was so dynamic, you could barely see the animal. And the purpose, I thought, of these displays was so you could really get a good idea of the animal's anatomy. So sometimes a still view was better.

I walked to another display. This one was lit. But it was even more dynamic and "action packed." It was apparently showing some desert wildcat attacking its prey. But the view was some kind of absurd bird's eye view.

The view showed the cat jumping toward some unseen prey. But the cat was posed so that it was almost perpendicular to the "ground" (which, in the case, would have been the back wall, although it seemed to be tilted down somehow). So all you could really see of the cat was its head and paws.

There were also some cacti, like the big, stereotypical saguaro cacti, in the view. Their tops burst imposingly out toward the glass. They seemed more dynamic and "3D"-like than anything else in the scene. But everything in the display looked distorted and hard to see. I didn't think it was very effective.

I walked over to another display. This one was also lit. It was toward the back of the room, just around a curve in the room that went off to the left, as I faced away from the entrance.

This display barely showed an animal at all. The animal was, in fact, just a grey blur coming around the right side of a huge plant. I'd guess, from the size and color of the blur, that the animal was something like a big lemur with grey and black fur. But it may have been some kind of small wildcat.

The plant itself was maybe two or three meters tall. It may have been something like a yucca or an agave. But it was full and round, almost like a gigantic artichoke.

I walked out of the room, possibly because my mom had asked me if I was ready to go. But I didn't go with my mom. Instead I walked out to "catch up" with the friends I'd come with. I walked through a huge open space with a lot of people.

I headed into a room off to the right. The room was something like a roller skating rink. I found "my friends" there -- a few white men, maybe college students, tall, kind of big, wearing sweaters and baseball caps. The had a kind of arrogant look.

The men were all standing outside the rink, leaning against the barrier and looking toward the rink. One of the men said we were waiting for somebody to get back from somewhere. Once he got here, we'd leave.

The guy started talking about a ride in some other room. I now recalled, coming into this room, seeing in to some other room that had some kind of big amusement park-like ride in it. I may have seen a little Asian girl on the ride. It may have been something like a slide. It looked fun.

The ride now sounded so interesting to me that I asked the guy if he wouldn't mind if I went and did the ride while we were waiting for the other guy. The guy shrugged, kind of annoyed that I'd ask for permission. He said, "Do whatever you want, man. I'm not your boss."

I left the room in a hurry, ashamed for having annoyed the guy by asking his permission to do something. The room with the big ride was, I knew, off to the left. But I turned to the right, almost instinctively, to head toward the bathroom.

I passed a little dividing area that was waist high and had a swing-door near the right wall. The bathrooms were in a kind of empty space, just beyond which may have been a much bigger area like an amuseument park for little kids, possibly with some kind of ferris wheel in the center of it all.

      Dream #3

I was "at work," sitting at a desk. My old co-worker, DC, came up to me from my right. He sat a chocolate cookie on my desk and said, "Here, you want a cookie?"

I looked at the cookie. It had a thin layer of hard, white frosting on it, like is sometimes on ginger cookies. The cookie looked good, but I knew I shouldn't eat it. So I shyly told DC, "Oh, no. I can't. But thank you."

DC was kind of offended that I'd declined his offer. He laughed and said, "Oh..." as if to let me know he thought I was being pretty arrogant, and that he'd do something sooner or later to put me in my place.
    3. Death by snake bite, Seeing the stars, 2 pac and the healing non-invasive crystal

      by , 09-08-2011 at 10:47 AM
08-09-11 I am standing in a tent on field. The field is filled with dandelions and I am starting to tear up the flowers with root and I do this quite frantically. Eventually other people start joining in until there are no flowers left. However as I go along I start pulling them up less careful about getting all of the root up.

When there are almost no flowers left I start noticing that the earth is moving and that the empty holes are crippling with spiders. I don't get to dwell on this thought as the next I know I find myself under the water in the ocean near the bottom.

I look up behind me and notice a sea snake being dropped into the water by an unknown entity. I start swimming towards the top and I don't know if I am kicking through the snake(s) or not. When I get to the top I find myself close to the shore of a beautiful beach.

It is high sunshine and I am wearing a wetsuit and am carrying a surf board. I have never surfed before, but I manage to catch a pipe (don't know if this is what it is called in surfer terms) on my first ever attempt, which the person with me considers quite the achievement.

I start feeling ill and I fall off the board and find myself in a living room right next to a door out to the hallway. Behind me there is a short haired girl who grabs me around the waist. I am in a different perspective and punch my own chest to start CPR. The perspective shifts back and I shout for someone to call the hospital. Someone runs into the hallway to do this.

The girl pulls me to the floor and Shane of Weeds is standing over me to continue the CPR.

My vision starts fading to grey and I am loosing it, but I hear a voice that tells me to stay here, relax and breathe. After a while my vision starts returning to normal and as I am looking up at one of my living room plants it gradually becomes green again.

After a while longer I can sit up and I look down my leg and notice a large circle. It isn't red and the bite marks from the snake have already healed up. However now we know that we are dealing with a cobra strike and I or someone else shout out into the hallway that the person getting help should tell this.

Notes: I remember having two more dreams after this one related to it, though without the nightmare themes. However upon waking up this morning they seem to have vanished from memory.

I am in Holland and going into a shop to buy some weed. Someone is with me and I think I am the experienced one and need to show them how it is done.

I walk over to the counter and tell the guy I need the weakest most mellow product he has. He immediately walks to the hash counter and tells his associate to service me.

His associate start dishing out this pink goo onto the counter and explains that this is the most mellow he has. Then the first guy comes over and tells the associate that it wasn't what I asked for that I needed something with a bit more fly to it. He starts pouring some brownish goo onto the counter. Then the associate asks me what I am after, most mellow or something with fly and I quickly explain just mellow.

We all laugh and I think I buy some of the pink stuff.

      Skip.

Outside the shop, which looks more like a garage on the outside I run into some shady businesmen who are looking for 2 Pac. As they explain this he appears on the other side of the street wearing a long business like coat looking nothing gangster like at all.

I stop and think to myself that he is dead and that all the conspiracy theorists that predicted his return must have been right. I think to myself that either he came back in 2007 or we are actually in 2007 right now.

The reason they want to talk to him is because he has developed something and the dream shifts into a camera chasing him as he is running through a garden. In the centre of the garden is his invention. It is a crystal that emits some sort of high frequency sound/light combination. This invention has the possibility of performing any know surgery non-invasive.

However it seems like it is overloading and hence 2 Pac and his assistant are running to get to cover. All the while this crystal is pulsing emitting this crystal like sound-light combination. There is loads of colours in this pulse, which is quite sharply contrasted by the grey clouds in the sky.

I am in a Sims like situation a person is telling me that he has never seen the stars. I sort of force him to do this. He replies that he has seen them on Youtube, which I find ridiculous.

I run up on a mountain that apparently is the highest location nearby and phone him and tell him he should get up there as there is absolutely no light pollution what so ever.

Besides I am standing right next to Mount Everest and I don't think it would be particularly difficult to reach the top of that either.

      Skip.

On a beach now still with the same mission in mind though it is daytime and he will have to wait a while. Another person/Sim is there and he has the trait that he is easily burned and will have to return for sun lotion all the time.

The parents voice sort of explain that he will have to stop playing with me because of this. There are loads of other persons that assemble around me.

I follow the easily burned guy into the house, one of his arms is really red and he is whimpering. He gets sun lotion applied and there is a bar that measures his degree of burntness that goes down with applications of this lotion.

In the house I explain that he needs a hardcore lotion, maybe like one of those for babies and all of a sudden I am in a shop that sells sun lotion, after sun, sun tan amplifier and soap. Among other things the shop also sells katanas relatively cheap.

The shop is run by WakingNomad and he tries to charge me 500 dollars for little test samples in blue bottles. I am annoyed that he charges this much because I know the protection they offer to be exactly what I am looking for, but it is stupidly expensive. I mean the bottles are like the size of small shot bottles.

Swimming with the family along the shore of a nice beach in high sunshine.

With the family in a house. There are two dogs that keep jumping into the lap of my dad and uncle.

      Vesterguard's Dreams

      non-lucid - Notes - lucid

05-09-11 I am in bed and I get parts of an entity handed over to me by Silas. There are 8 parts in total and I feel like I have finally obtained the right frame of mind and personality to take on the demon.

I assemble it and am struck with terror. I notice this is how he fights and get up out of bed and defies his will. I get an image of something that looks like a T Rex. It is his will against mine and after a while I plant my feet in the ground probably somewhere in the middle of the room and just stands there and defies the demon.

Think you can describe the encounter as a stalemate, which is a hell of a lot better than me just simply giving into the utter terror it instils.

I wake up feeling the remnants of a nightmare, though I know I can manage it mentally because I defied the terror. Quite the ambivalent feeling really.

I am in a barn with a black horse. The horse is already saddled and I try to calm it down talking to it. It shifts it's attention to the wall behind it, where a black sword is hung upon the wall.

I walk past the horse and pick up the sword.

A person appears from the entrance behind the horse and tells me.

      “He can see you know”

“He tells me that you will go to him of your own free will”

Fine whatever. I follow the man outside the barn. He is wearing a cape and a cane and maybe a hat, not sure about the hat. There is someone with him, I get the feeling it is an assistant of sorts.

We are walking on a stone terrace with plenty of hedges and we sort of have to zig zag to get upwards. The caped man and his assistant is humming the humming part of “Fire coming out of the Monkey’s head” by Gorillaz. I am walking ight behind them and with a pace that would soon make me overtake them.

I am swinging the sword around and generally I don't feel afraid, though I am positive that instilling fear is the prime goal of the caped man.

Him and his assistant starts walking a bit faster and we all start drumming along. Him with his cane and me with the sword. I have no clue what his assistant is using. It sounds OK, but not great, still I am enjoying it and start laughing a bit.

We get to the top of the terrace and start walking down the side. The caped man explains that we will go out over sea and signal our return with a flare.

I pull out my wand and shoot fire out of it, a thin line of fire that lands maybe 20 metres away and cause some embers to appear. “Great I will have to remember how I did that next time I turn lucid, fire has given me a few problems before” I think to myself and keep on walking.

We get down to a docking area and as it is dark I make light appear out of my hands, still holding my wand. Increase light I think and it happens. Someone is joining us for from behind a hedge and I get the feeling that they are joining us for the journey.

I think the caped man's assistant is also making light appear out of his palms, though his is brighter than mine.

I am in Holland. I am there to meet up with Sisse, Edith and Zizika.

Edith and I are wearing the same jacket, small light brown leathery thing.

There are videos of Zizika playing in some girl band.

I meet up with them at a table and Daniel takes my coat and put it on a wall behind us. I am uncomfortable with that as it might slide down onto the other side into the garden behind it.

      skip

I am at Zizika's house and it is getting late, I am wearing varying amounts of clothes for some reason. I think it is lame of them to leave me there seeing as it is almost half six in the morning.

I get a call “Dennis, are you ready?”

Notes: The following FA might continue straight from the above dream.

I am lying in my bed and I look out the window and can see the roof of the house across the lawn. I have a suspicion that I am having a false awakening as my field of vision is still a bit blurry and incomplete, as the rooftop starts spinning. Spinning or the surroundings alternating between light and dark.

I remain still and start observing the scenario for a while, it feels too soon to try and move and jeopardise the stability of the dream. I get up as the spinning thing is wearing off and look outside and compared to the façade of just one building as normally there are two streets running down into town.

Even after this pretty clear realisation I still question if I am dreaming, as the details are quite vivid so I look at my hand and it is blurry with an extra finger. Even considering this I am a bit sceptical as I jump back and pull my feet up and prepare to go through the window feet first. I am a bit relieved when I sense my flight not failing me.

Outside the window I immediately tell the dream that I want to go to Chichén Itzá, but I can't find anyway near so I try and start spinning. Nothing really happens so I take a leap of faith and close my eyes.

At first it seems like the dream is fading as I am surrounded by lights, as if you would be looking at your eye lids, only much brighter. However I recall having pulled back a dream in a scenario like this before and I keep making swimming motions.

It works. The dream is coming back and the setting is now much much brighter. I am in a jungle and there are stone buildings and I get really excited, it definitely has a Mayan feel to it. I am standing by a white sanded shore of either a river, lake or ocean. In front of me are trees, less dense than what you would expect from a tropical forest, and an open forum like plaza.

I start flying towards this plaza and start calling out “Fellow Dreamers”. I see someone coming towards me or at least in my direction. I fly closer and over her, she looks at me she is riding on some animal and look girlish with blonde/brown hair to down below her shoulders. “Pil?” she says, which could have been “Peel” (suppose even “Pete” though that is probably stretching it as far as you can) “Pil” translated into English is “Arrow”.

I don't even think to stop and talk to her, but I don't really seem to be completely in control of this particular part of the flight either. I fly over the centre of the forum and looking down I see blue men with feline features.

“Brilliant! I defo have to speak with them” I think and, but as I start walking back towards where they were they have disappeared. The central spot has something that looks like an altar or something and I don't really fancy disturbing anything so I decide to go look for other dreamers.

I try keeping the beacon in mind, but I am not really at El Castillo and every time I try and do it I get distracted by black figures I can never really put any features to.

I fly around for a bit marvelling at the architectural wonders surrounding me. I fly past a small pyramid, waay too small to be El Castillo and carry on. There might be entities of some description at this smaller pyramid. I continue through and come to this place where a great wall with a lot of windows is surrounding an area of jungle.

This place is heavily ornamented with carved animal heads, although contrary to normal Mayan artistry it is protruding out from the walls instead of being carved into them. It doesn't make the place any less beautiful though, although I am sure I see an elephant at some point, which I find odd thinking about it when awake. At this place I ask the dream to extend itself 10 minutes.

I decide to try my luck again with the spinning, this time thinking more specifically about El Castillo. Same scenario happens I close my eyes and try and picture it or at least the shape of it. However this time although I make the same swimming motions, I don't get to the pyramid, though it might flash dimly once or twice.

Instead I am sent back to my bed and something weird happens. I hear a narrator talking about how I have now set foot in the Astral and that my physical damage is increased. Which sounds just too weird and I can't help but laugh myself and wonder if I am going be trapped here for 7-8 minutes. I can wriggle around and rotate freely within my own body and it doesn't seem like the wall I am lying next to is causing problems, though I can't see anything.

      I wake up feeling amazing.
    6. TotM, Portal Attempts, metal transformations

      by , 08-05-2011 at 12:12 PM
05-08-11 I am in holland again, I am outside and I am sleeping, though I am partially awake. There is chatter in the background and I believe they wouldn't actually wake me up, due to me having specified having an interest in dreams and sleep.

I keep waking up and looking out down towards the garage. At one point Ant comes over, I hear him before I see him and he intends on waking me up in a rather funny, but unpleasant matter. He intends to pour a glass of pickled cucumber over my face.

As he approaches I look up and laugh a bit, he doesn't seem to want to stop so I look at him, still smiling and start making some physically impossible move and tell him to lay off or “there will be violence”.

He lays off and we decide to head out. We head towards a supermarket at first and I am quickly left behind. I think about Ida who is standing a bit ahead and I think it is fair enough she doesn't want me anyways, I have little interest in her anyways. However it does spark a hint of emotional discomfort though no way near as much as usual.

As I am climbing over the wall I look down and I see a blue beetle that is best described as a mixture of a lady bug and a LEGO Duplo piece, with legs. I hear Ruth shouting to the others “He is coming I have just seen him jump”.

I notice how gracefully I jump both down the wall and past a couple of people over a pool of water. I notice my dream sign that I am capable of parcour. I become lucid.

I start looking around and fly a bit. I am in a city that seems like a crossover between Århus and Amsterdam. The rest of the crew is in a warehouse on the top floor and when I see them I start flying up towards them.

On the way up there I decide to try out some spider man stuff instead and I procede to crawling up the wall. Close up the wall is mostly redish with a lot of black to gray texture in it. The way I am stuck to the wall is remarkable in the way that I don't seem stuck as such, but it feels like my hands and feet are magnetically attached to the wall.

I start thinking if there is somethng I am supposed to do. I have decided to give the confidence issues a bit of a rest and decide to go playful. What is the TotM. Get a DC to sing and go to the chocolate factory, right.

I let go and drop to street level. I burst out in song in order to get the rest of the many DCs on the street to join me. I think I am going with “Dangerzone” off top gun, but no one seems to join in except a guy from behind me across the street and he just shouts Danger!

That won't hold up and I get a bit annoyed.

I ask to ladies walking by if they want to sing for me, but they refuse.

I think at this point the dream starts to fade and I command it to come back verbally. Things go blank and as the dream comes back it feels like I have one eye open in waking life and one in the dream world. I have felt like this before though and this time I decide to just ignore it.

I command the dream to stabilize and between that and ignoring the open eye syndrome (Coined!). I get the dream back on track. I run into a tanned guy wearing a yellow sports T-shirt with a sports bag over his shoulder.

I ask him to sing for me, but he only looks at me briefly before he turns sround, take on an arrogant attitude and tells me that he won't. Now I am getting angry so I grab hold of him place my hands on both sides of his face and looks him in the eyes. I briefly think of vampire compulsion, glamour or whatever you want to call it and start talking to him.

      He stares blankly at me.

“God damn, this is my dream and I am sick and tired of getting refused”
He reples with an astounding empty stare.
“Now you will sing to me!”
He starts singing “Happy birthday to you...”
“Yeah yeah that will do” It is boring and not my birthday, but task accomplished.
“Why do you need me to sing for you?” he asks
“Don't worry about it, you have done your part thank you”
“You keep information tight, don't you”
“As I said, this is a dream, so once you have been integrated with my consciousness again you will understand”

Now to the chocolate factory. I immediately think about doors. I have to find a door and expect the chocolate factory to be on the other side. It is getting darker, but I find a door inside a building and try and will the chocolate factory on the other side.

When I open the door I expect a portal to be there, though I only find a white canvas. I try it out and try and walk through it. It is difficult in particular my head doesn't really seem to be willing to. After a couple of minutes of faffing around inside a door that isn't a door the dream starts fading.

I pull the move I tried out before and when I come back in the dream again things have changed slightly. The scenery is darker and I am not sure what is going on. I am pretty sure I am dreaming, but I am uncertain so I pull a hand RC. Sure enough.

I was trying to open a portal to the chocolate factory, right onwards. I spot something that looks like a hotel up the road. I walk to it and prepare for the door to be a portal.

Now unfortunately the front door is made of glass, so it will be difficult imagining anything but the hotel I can see through the glass door. So I decide to walk through it and find another door I can try with.

As I open it there is no portal behind it, but a small passage way and a mirror at the end.

A mirror, that is interesting. That could be used as a portal, but first I observe my self reflection flicker in the mirror. It isn't like anything is missing, but my reflection is there one moment and gone the next flicking on and off.

I decide to hop through it and having learned from the first experience I go through head first. I manage to get my entire body fully through and then I just hover there. I start falling a bit and I figure that will work, never done portals before I don't know what to expect.

I keep falling and eventually looking up I see a door, I reach up for the handle and try and pull myself through, however I wake up just as I get the door open.

I am with some superhero crew. We are gathering some black obsidian bars, that are to be transformed into a single adamantium bar. I proclaim to someone that it is stupid to try and do that since adamantium can't be altered. I wonder if Stark can do it seeing as it is him collecting.

Notes: Third night in a row with a lucid. The technique of awakening from a night of dreaming, trying to recollect them and then go back to sleep seems to work wonders. Though I didn't have many dreams to recollect this morning the Obsidian/adamantium dream was fresher in my mind, but I have spent much time with my niece while writing down the dream, so memories have faded a bit.
