non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

At a magical realm, where I am part of the nobility of a kingdom and I am also like Wonder Woman. We are invaded by hords of barbarians. When they strike, I am outside the fortress city with the peasants that care for the lands. Some of my warrior friends manage their way back, but I am shut down outside. I get some Japanese swords to fight, but the invaders are just too many. I realize I can't survive a fight with them all, so I opt out to dwell in the underground maze of artisans shops and their homes because there is a way to access the fortress through some underground tunnels that connect with this place.

I was looking at a hut. Generations of families lived there in isolation. The last one is a father and a son. They are fighters/hunters. Tribal type. They were summoned by the kingdom/king to fight. There's also something about having a daughter.

I'm on this rock mountain island. It's a medieval times castle and kingdom. I'm in the royalty part of the castle, I walk up to the child's table. The kings son and daughter are sitting. The boy tells me he is stevie nicks new incarnation. I try to ask him why he was, but he looks as though we are being listened to and this we can't speak of. I look forward to the adults feasting at the other table, there are see through pink cloths hanging down this room, I see stevie nicks dining with the king and queen, stevie nicks turns to me and gives me a fearful look, then suddenly I'm out side the castle, on the dark rocks, all the people of the kingdom are out here they begin to riot because they've realized something, then the king storms out with his men and orders them to get the hose and shoot us with the "water". They do and I dodge it, the water coming out is foggy white, I instantly know it is water that is very very highly concentrated with fluoride. When the people are drenched with it they severely slow down and calm down and have no motivation. They aim it at me, but then I climb the rock wall and go around it which is cliff over black sea. They try to aim it but I keep climbing around to avoid it. I climb around the whole rock wall to the other side of the kingdom, I almost fall into the black sea a few times and I almost keep losing my footing and grip. Then I hop over this brick wall, and see all the towns people all zombie like.

This was a really big dream , what you'd get here is a fragment.

So, our family is going to a hill station , in a fantasy world. Scenario changes to another one where I am besieging a city square bazaar , here people are really packed , we are waiting , for the people to get done of the preparations we need to live in the central building as our headquarters . Here we keep ordering stuff to the people. So , finally we move in the building . Father tells that he chose this because it is in the densest population areas and if we were to be attacked , it would take a lot of time for people to come and we can then escape through the secret route .
Now , the scenario changes back to my family trip. We are almost near the town we wanted to reach . We move in to a small floor in a rented house in the middle of the town , I don't know why but we're wanted by some people. I roam around the town for a while figuring out something , I come across a woman , who was my family's enemy . She chases me towards a dead end hill (note that we're not running on streets but jumping from rooftop to rooftop , there are houses with slanting roofs) . Finally , I get tired of running and I fire an energy wave at her , which makes her badly injured. At that time my mom comes and says " good that you pawned her. Now we can live in her house while she in rotting in the prison." The pixie opens a door into her house , but it is too small , so I make the door bigger by merging few cells in it. We move in , our butler takes care of all the needs .
Now the scenario changes again, this time I am a prince , my father and a king residing in one of my towns, decide to host a race . I would be on a horse and I'd be racing through the town , while behind be there are three men (hired ninja's) who would have to catch me. The winner decides the kingdoms fate, I start galloping on my horse while there are three disheveled men behind me. I take turns , trying to have them lose my track. I jumped over food stalls in the bazaar , take turns into alleyways , I see only two of them behind me. I hop over a stall , creating a jam on the alleyway , one of them breaks down , panting. I gallop my horse and make it spin in between of a fork road , it appears like i am going straight but I turn , making the second guy crash into a stall. I go to the finish line and find a crowd waiting for me just before the finish line.
Scenario changes again , this time there is a prince standing few feet from me and I am in disheveled clothing. I have the chance to win the race , just by touching the prince who is proudly addressing his victory , but then I stop , I don't do it and the prince wins the race. Scenario changes again , I am now looking at a map with 4 icons , men who are fighting for the throne , the kings didn't follow what they had said regarding the race. The prince is badly injured while his father dies , the prince runs away.

I wake up. I learn't how to change the DC i control along with subconscious flying. The dream was semi-lucid , I was like living through a story.

I was at the park entrance and there were alot of trains.

Dream 2(fragments):

I was in some kind of FPS game. There was some weird blue outdoors area, that was pretty confusing to navigate. Some parts of the area were navigated using minecarts and there were many elevation changes and obstacles. Also i was playing coop with somebody else and he knew the area better. We were fighting some huge enemies one of which was some kind of giant blue gorilla thing.

Dream 3:

There was some story about kingdoms, i was in one kingdom and there was some other kingdom. We were trying to get spirits onto our side. One was on our side already and he looked like half humanoid, half some kind of animal, and he was a sword master. We were going through palace and searching for the others. I was talking to some people of the kingdom a few times, and at one point another spirit joined us, though can't recall how he looked other than being half humanoid, half something else as well. Then there was an elevator and up in the tower part of palace we have found another spirit he was silent and looked like half-humanoid, half-eagle. Then there was some kind of quarrel between him and sword master and they were getting into trouble while i and some kingdom people were trying to stop them being so angry at each other.
Later on, i was talking to the leader about one bunny-like spirit which was in the same room as well, also we were talking about our objective, which was to dethrone the king of the other kingdom and save spirits. That bunny-like was playing around in meanwhile.
Shortly the cutscene started and i was seeing the other kingdom, then the king room. The king was ruthless type of king and he was angry about spirits, he kept them caged and stuff and he was planning the attack on the other kingdom. He also made some dude to infect the more 'evolved' version of bunny-like spirit with some kind of virus. The spirits apparently could contact with each other through some kind of room/place, to which they could teleport at any time. I was back at the palace and there was discussion about whether we should allow them to contact each other, i didn't saw why not but someone else said that it's better not to, bunny-like spirit disappeared.
Another cutscene started, showing that spirit room and two bunny-like spirits from earlier on playing with each other around the tree in center. Then back to normal, there was talk about virus and i was trying to find way to make that spirit return. Then i was talking to somebody else and we got the whole team ready to go to battle. I went out of the palace, leading them.

A kingdom. We aim to protect it. Various knights. Animals. We have to talk to them, not fight them. On the map. Collecting the 9k+ from each knight on the map. Some are being killed?

7:49 a.m.

A war. Kingdoms challenging each other. I am more of a watcher, and then I see from the first-person perspective once in a while. I see the top view of the map, of how things changed. An escapee princess and her little brother, hiding in a nearby town near the sea. The little one has abilities. He jumped down from the high cave and crawled down the rocky cliff near the sea. He was told not to show himself or they'll be found. A man 'fell' down into the murky water of the sea. (First person) The boy jumped down, for what reason? Then he found the man who fell down back on the docks. He pulled him up and left.

(Third person) The princess was asked whether it was wise to stay so close to the 'portal' where the war is most active. The portal is some sort of realm with a red sphere. It seems magic becomes powerful or weaker near it. There are two kingdoms currently fighting near it. One has a general who is highly skilled in technological warfare. He transformed his his flying ship (flying boat) into a deadly weapon that throws cannonballs and blades. I am not sure what held them back from conquering the portal completely.

A sick king or lord hiding in a kingdom, protected by an ally was found out. He was using his troops to infiltrate the nearby kingdoms, but this probably raised the alarm. A passing band saw his insignia or banner floating in the building (he's an idiot for doing that if he did), or maybe the owner was already under suspicion. (First person) When he saw the troops outside, he immediately jumped off the high wall to the other side, and looked for a place to hide. First-person. The place looked like a nice park, with trees scattered all over and nice, green grass. He was parkouring his way out. At last, he ran and ran into the dark forest, until it was night.

Light was 'chasing' me from behind, creating shadows in front of me. I felt ecstatic, wild. I jumped and rolled in the dark forest, lied down, and stared up at the moon. I howled. I was a woman. A witch. I can feel my dark, tattered dress.

(Third person) Wolves and a lion are fighting. The lion asked why the wolves are fighting them. They paused. It seems they were controlled. It was time to hit back.

I was in a ship. (First person) I am the general with technological skills. I said, it's nice to be able to use powers again. I raised a ball of energy with my left hand and threw it into the air.

I am a very rich girl, travelling around with a retinue of warriors through India, looking for lands to buy. I encounter a remote kingdom, fortified within walls, a shadow of its past glory. It is ruled by a celestial being of pale green skin who has fallen from grace and no longer is able to bring good fortune to its kingdom.
Houses are falling apart, farmers don't grow crops, artisans don't do their crafts. People seem to have given up on living. I offer to buy the kingdom and to provide the means to put people back to work. People rejoice and the green king, who is still a bit proud, but is too weak to oppose, opens his palace for us.
Things are getting better, farmers are again in the fields planting, merchants are selling fresh goods, houses being rebuilt. When suddenly we are under attack.
They had failed to tell us that some evil army (maybe from a rival kingdom, or from dark forces from another realm) was the reason of their misery, through its constant attacks and destruction of livelihoods. Me and my warriors rush up to close the gates of the kingdom. There is a sort of tunnel system around the external fortification, which they manage to break and we have to battle them while retreating through the tunnels. We finally manage to barricade the passage at some point, but we need a plan to keep going.
The siege goes on and we are sent to seek the help of an enlightened being. We go out of the kingdom through a secret path and on our quest we arrive at a village on a hill. Nobody seems to talk the same language and nobody seems willing to even talk to us strangers.
Close to a stone wall we take some rest and there is an orange tree on the other side, from where one of my warriors tries to get some fruits. A wasp stings him, but he is compassionate and spares its life. Then a bunch of wasps arise from the tree and fly towards us. We get up to run, but as they approach us, they transform into giant dark iridescent bugs and then fall on the ground in the form of rounded rectangular black magnetic stones. I receive in my mind the information that these are to be gifts to the Buddha that we are seeking. Then in the sky a path of bright constellations lits up and one that touches the top of a mountain nearby is in the shape of a Buddha. Now we have a "map" to follow. I pick up the stones and we start walking.
On our way we encounter two evil witches blocking the path. They look beautiful and they summon quite a few other goddess-looking creatures who completely seduce my men with some magic spells. Possessed by lust they forget who they are and what they are here for and engage in an orgy with these girls. Very few seem to be strong enough to escape the spell and help me going through. Then the witches unleash a storm of biblical proportions. Drops of water the size of apples and hard as rocks, fall on us, sending the rest of the men to seek cover somewhere and dispersing us. I protect my head and keep going despite the pain. Then I see a little angelic girl crying in terror, trying to protect herself under some crevice on a rock. I forget about my intent, I run to the child and take her in my arms down the mountain and back to the village. I look for her home to reunite her with parents. She never says a word, but she leads me to a house. I realize the witches managed to divert me from my mission. Can compassion have become my weakness? When the door opens, I wake up.

I had originally attempted a MILD that night but instead I got a DILD. Lucid part is the bottom half.

Hot-Rodding on a kid's bike.

Starts with me dad Jake and uncle Anthony and his three sons, my cousins. We were on a road trip to Colorado, but the car was too full so one of us had to ride a Big wheel kids bike like this one:



I rode the big wheel kids bike, they drove.

They said to meet at steak and shake and I had no clue how to get there... I drove on the road at about tire level but that thing was as fast as any car I passed! I felt this mad rush and was swerving in and out of the traffic for a bit and then I made it to steak and shake. When I got there, I saw them at the bar counter with shakes and empty food dishes. I ordered some food and a shake. Then everyone got up and said we had to go now or we will be late! So I got on my stupid kid's toy and took off. I took off and tried to figure out where I was going until the roads started getting stranger and stranger like going around and through buildings and ending unexpectedly until I was dodging people on sidewalks and jumping over stairs.
I crashed.
I looked up from my crash and my bike was destroyed due to its entire lack of durability being all plastic... I saw a tourist bike stand and I ran over to it as quick as I could to the asian behind the counter and said I NEED A BIKE HOW MUCH? He said, um thatabe about three hundred dollah. I said okay and handed it over. I grabbed a purple mountain bike and got to riding. It wasn't as fast as the big wheel lol
I then saw my group pull into a meeting hall and I parked my bike next to them. I walked inside and there was lots of people but I didn't know anyone there. After that something odd happened and then I got a video call from an unknown source.

I got a video call on my phone from a kingdom saying I was their ruler and they needed my help.

I rode the bike there and when I got off it looked like Endor in Starwars but with halo reach forge stuff in it. Everyone was referring to me as king and all said that some monsters would be attacking us someday and we would be defenseless! I promised to find a way to protect them. While I was there I looked around for something to help but got nothing and I made some new friends with different interests. One wanted to be a mage, one a warrior, and one was kinda shy and wouldn't talk that much. Before I left they gave me a black crown to wear and wear it I did!

Our kingdoms was defenseless and needed weapons. I was now on a quest to get the weapons. I went to this huge dome-like building that appeared to be a barracks of some sort and the front entrance looked like a hotel lobby. I went around some hallways and into the dome and there was some people training to fight, some practicing magic, and some floating in the middle of the stadium, talking to each other.

The site of this giant room was amazing and at that point of astonishment, I realized it was a dream.

I looked at the floating guys who looked like teachers to the people in the dome. They wore robes with symbols on them. I flew up to them and said I need weapons for my kingdom what can you give me? One of them said I was not worthy of anything here because I was weak. I said well then watch this I threw a fireball at a target on the floor below me. They laughed and said, there is nothing I can do that they don't already know from a spell book they have read before. They all raised their hands and had fire on them and then they lowered them and ignored me. I said well then what book taught you this? I raised my hands and lightning shot out around my hands and I made the sparks increase bigger and bigger until I waved them away and they were all amazed saying things like, "it cannot be" and "that's impossible" and "how can someone not trained in the arts know so much?" I then said, okay. Where are your spell books and weapons? He said I can't have them but I said you don't want to test me. He said nothing so I started launching fireballs everywhere and then all the people training started running around and fled while the teachers in the center of the dome said STOP THAT'S ENOUGH!!! Fine take them they're down their and here is our best spell book.

I flew down saw the books and some glowing weapons (must've had enchantments lol Skyrim).
After I put everything in a bottomless bag, a teacher walked up to me and said you wont destroy us will you? I actually wasn't thinking about that but then said well, this is a dream so, you don't exist. It would make no difference if I destroyed this place or not. He seemed puzzled and told his other professors what I said. I then looked back and held up my hand and it started glowing aqua colored and a ball of lightning energy constructed in my hand brightly. I threw it into the center of the arena and jumped out of the dome action movie style as it exploded and I could see people running outside.

I went back to my kingdom and encountered monsters underwater and some other monsters but I hardly remember that part it was so wierd and hard to explain. Crablike monsters, underwater ruins, and some other stuff but it was quick and not really fully memorable. I remember flying back to the kingdom afterwards.

When I got back to the kingdom, I announced I had our solution.

I left the pile of weapons and books with the people, and I gave the best weapon to my warrior friend, I gave another weapon to the other friend, and I took the best spell book to my friend that wanted to be a Mage. She freaked out and she opened it and we looked at some spells trying them out before I woke up shortly after.

Fragment:
I was in my school's computer room, but my math teacher was there to teach us. She was walking around the room, talking to every kid, and teaching them to do this weird fist pump thing.

Dream:
I was side by side with a woman I hardly knew. But supposedly, she was my leader, or something like that. We walked down a huge flight of royal stairs, still side by side, and faced a large group of people. There was someone sitting on a throne/judge-like seat (I'm guessing this was the king, or someone held in high authority). While my leader was telling the "king" something, I looked at what she was wearing and what I was wearing, too. It looked like a long green, silken dress down to the floor, with some of it trailing behind her. She had long, flowing hair; which reached down to her hips. She was very beautiful.

I now looked at what I was wearing. A light pink, silken dress, that went down to the floor as well. The sides of my light blonde hair were held back into two small braids (mainly like Legolas' hair in Lord of the Rings) and the rest went down to about my hips also. I seriously felt like Zelda.

I can't remember what all my leader said, but after that, there was blackness. Now we were outside. There were men around, supposedly preparing for battle, because some were dressed in armor. I can't remember what I was doing here, or if my leader was with me or not.

But someone was following me. Later, I found out it was a little creature, a hobbit possibly. He was short, and he looked like Sam (LOTR, not my sister). He held this dark blue stick. It looked like a small tube filled with dark blue powder. I didn't know what it was until he used it on me.

Now both of us were back in the room I started in in the dream. My leader and I, also the hobbit. I had taken it back into the room. It struggled the whole way. I was seriously thinking it was Sam, but it was not friendly.

He took out his blue stick again, and this time, pointed it at my foot. I tried to hit his hand away but for a hobbit, he was pretty strong. We struggled on the floor and my leader was reading something calmly in the corner. The hobbit pointed the blue stick at my foot again, and squeezed. Instantly, my foot starting numming, and it was painful. I smelled metal. Tasted awful. Simultaneously, I heard my leader say, "That is a freezing stick. If he keeps that up for a couple more seconds, the limb could freeze off." I slapped the stick out of his hand, and warmth started coming back into my foot. I stood up, and the hobbit ran away I think.

I walked (limped) over to the beginning of the flight of stairs we walked down in the beginning of the dream. I looked around. Tons of people were there, waiting for a report. I walked awkwardly back inside the room. My leader did a facepalm.

We walked back down the stairs to report something to the people as well as the king. I can't remember what, though.

In this dream, I took the role of god. I had complete control, yet, I wasn't lucid.
I was given an order to build a kindgdom of some sort. I instantly cleared a huge square space to build. In a way, this game is very related to Minecraft, because I play it alot. I can't remember how I built everything, but I did it really fast. The was one building that was "pre-made" by the dream. It looked alot like a building I've actually once made in-game. Next I built a huge square and shaped it in the form of a castle. The entrance was outlined in a blue rectangle. Then I built tombstones? They were small blue rectangles and resembled a graveyard. Next was a rock wall surrounding the entire building space.
I don't remember building anything else, but I do remember something strange after I finished. Everything I built looked completely different than what I remember building. That didn't bother much.
Everything went black as always and I woke up.
Again, this dream wont make sense

Just as a note: This whole dream was in anime form. I was riding in a air balloon to go visit a kingdom in the sky to visit my friend(who is also the princess of the kingdom). So I arrive and land the air balloon and when I step off, the princess comes from nowhere and jumps at me and gives me a hug and I hug her back(Although when I think back on this, isn't jumping at someone near the edge of a floating kingdom thousands of feet above the ground a bad idea? -.-'). She then grabs my hand and takes me to meet her other friends. There are 6 of them, all them are also royalty from nearby kingdoms(I was the only non-royal in the group). We hang out in the kingdom for the rest of the day(although i don't remember what we did) and tomorrow the princess wanted to go down to the city below and shop and stuff like that. The next day, I was making a dark yu-gi-oh deck(why, i have no clue. it has been awhile since i had seen anything yu-gi-oh related). Then I went off to where we were supposed to meet up. But one of the guys was blocking the door and he was with the princess. He then slammed her into and through the door(which was made out of glass and wood). She has some glass imbedded in her arms and body and was bleeding some but was otherwise ok somehow. I immediately take on the guy, but he didn't fight like a human(im guessing a demon or some screwed up experiment). He clawed at me with actual claws and when i tried grabbing him from behind, he twisted his head 180 degrees and slashed at my chest. Eventually though, I killed the guy.(I don't remember how though). I fight the rest of them, one after another as well, but I don't remember much of it at all. I do remember a butler helped me against the last of them, some girl. When it was all over, my shirt and chest had been shredded and soaked in blood but I felt fine. The princess ran to me and I held her as she cried. I do not remember a lot of the dream and some parts I just made up some stuff so it would flow better, I am not sure if what I put in those spots are accurate or not.

I had a dream last night that I was in a kingdom. The kingdom was surrounded by empty space and if you walked off the edge, you would fall into nothingness.

I first remember being a person of royal blood in the castle but I'm not sure how or to whom. For some reason there was a queen who would decide who would be king and she was going to pick this one guy who was well known in the kingdom (I was not, I had no attention from others). I went into a room with the man and the queen and before she picked him, she picked me. After that, I never saw her again in the dream, but I was given the status of king. The other man was now general and left the kingdom to fight our enemies which I heard were Orcs but I never saw any. My subjects never payed any attention to me despite the fact that I was king.

I later found a guitar that was given to me because I was now king. It had guitar hero buttons at the top (5 buttons: green red yellow blue, orange was not there) that all lit up when I pressed them (Idk why, I haven't played much guitar hero since I got a real guitar 3 years ago). The guitar had a shiny black neck, sparkling red body, and the strings on it only went from the 15th fret to the 23rd fret, the rest of the guitar neck had no strings or frets, only the 5 guitar hero buttons at the top and the strings at the bottom 9 frets. There was an amp that was an ordinary amp. It was black and about 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. I was excited about my new guitar and amp and started playing. I could only make higher pitched notes so basically all I did was fast solos. Random people in the kingdom started liking me and enjoyed my presence.


Looked like this kinda except with the guitar hero buttons I mentioned earlier and the frets.

I brought the guitar with me on my back everywhere I went. People started doing anything I said and if I wanted someone to come to me for aid with something, I would play and they would come. I am not that good at playing a guitar in real life but when I thought of a guitar solo sound in my head, my fingers played it. In the kingdom I walked around for many hours playing guitar and talking to people.

I remember one of the craziest parts of my dream was when on the side of the castle, there was a bus/RV that had about 10 people on top playing drums and trumpets and guitars and singing (it looked just like the intro to rock band 1 when they were all on the bus. I grabbed my guitar and amp and hooked it up and ran to the top of the RV and started playing with them but they all stopped and stared in amazement. I enjoyed all this fun in my kingdom but then it came to a halt.

There was a new enemy, my friend Jon who wanted me removed from the kingdom (he is one of my good friends so idk why he was the bad guy). He started making disasters in the kingdom like fires and he lied to people about me. He soon had control over all the guards and most of the people and some of whom were good friends of mine. I had 3 friends that didn't betray me who were not real people I know in real life just dream projections. I was arrested and taken to a room of the castle that had no ceiling and high castle stone walls around me with a gate. I heard an evil voice over the intercom say that I was going to be out of their way soon. I was very depressed. My kingdom was taken from me, my guitar and amp were taken, nobody believed me or trusted me, and I hadn't heard from my 3 friends for a long time. I then ran to the gate and saw another subject that used to like me and he told me to get back traitor! I told him the story of how I was being set-up and he said he still doesn't believe me. I then said, "Trust me". He then said okay I will and opened the gate. From then on anytime I told someone to trust me they did. I ran through the castle and encountered 2 more guards who I told to trust me and they did. I knew I had to get to my guitar and amp. I got to a room near the RV (the last place I remembered playing the guitar) and grabbed it in a hurry. I heard guards coming and knew I had to get away.

I ran outside and saw the RV along with the 3 friends I saw before. I started climbing up the RV and saw the guards in the distance coming through the hallways of the castle. I told my friends, hurry! Plug in the amp! They were setting up the amp when a guard grabbed my ankle just when I got to the top of the RV. He said, "you are under arrest for crimes against our kingdom!" I told him I did nothing wrong and I was innocent and then told him to trust me and he did and let go. I climbed up onto the RV and started playing as the guards started surrounding the RV. I could see Jon's face on a TV screen above the castle and he had been watching me the whole time with an evil grin until that moment. He looked at me with shock when I started my guitar soloing. Everyone stopped and stared in awe. I was back. I then told them that I was set-up by Jon and this was all a lie. They then were happy for my return to the throne and I climbed down from the RV and went into the castle to see Jon.

He was sitting on a couch in a small room watching a TV screen with a security camera view on it. He was throwing a temper tantrum and shouting "its not fair!" over and over like villains do on TV. I decided it would be fun to ride on the RV again and play guitar and shouted hey everyone, lets go back to the RV! Everyone followed (except Jon) and I climbed up on top and got ready. I saw my dad near the amp plug and told him to plug my amp into an electrical outlet on the side of the RV. He grabbed the cord and started going to the outlet and then I heard the sound of a fan (my portable heater in my room) and everything started getting brighter slowly. I knew in that moment I was waking up. I shouted to everyone that I was leaving and that I would most likely not be coming back. They all waved bye and I slowly woke up.

So much adventurous detail I can't remember was in there on the part where I was running through the halls looking for my guitar but I do not remember much of it. I had realized I was dreaming a few times and was lucid a handful of times but it lasted for 5 seconds each time and I don't remember those parts very well. (I know, I know, too much colorful text )

Johanna swings the sword furiously at her attacker. Her blonde hair, braided into a plait, sweeps through the air as she ducks his return attack. She's on the defensive, frantically blocking his sword, barely avoiding being cut. The man's face is expressionless as he forces her into a corner.

A slow clapping starts up from across the room. The attacker stills, and Johanna steps away, keeping her sword ready.

"Bravo," says the man on the other side of the room. "You've done extraordinarily well, getting this far."

"I'll kill you," she hisses back, not taking her eyes from the bodyguard, "For destroying my family."

"With that sword?" asks the prince, "I think not."

"I've fought my way through your legions," she pronounces, "Decimated them."

"Yes," says the prince, "But then, you had someone to protect, which is the purpose of your enchanted sword. Tell me, where is your brother?"

"He's dead," says Johanna, "Murdered by your men!" On the last word, a knife materializes in her other hand. She rushes the bodyguard, swipes down, slicing at his face.

Blood splatters against the wall, and Johanna clutches at her throat in surprise. She falls to the ground, aware that she's bleeding out. From the corner of her eye, she can see another man emerge from the shadows. Stupid, she thinks, should have realized he would have backup...

She's standing on a stone bridge, which spans the entirety of a mountainous valley. At the end of the bridge is a city. Blue spires reach up into the sky, and Johanna is dimly aware that she's looking at the Capitol City. This was her home, before everything. It's still peaceful. The sky is blue, and sunlight shines down, lighting up the valley and the mist with an ethereal glow. The valley is lush, full of greens and grains and enough food keep most of the kingdom from growing hungry. It's almost unbelievable, that such an awe-inspiring sight could hide such a great evil.

"I brought you back." I tell her.

Johanna turns to look at me. "Why?" Her face is blank, but I can hear the anguish in her voice.

"I don't think you understand," I say slowly, "I brought you back. Nothing you've endured has happened yet. Your family is still alive."

She's quiet for a moment, looking out over the blue lustre of the city in the distance. "What's the catch?"

I have to smile at that. "You can prevent all of this from happening," I say, "If you do exactly as I say."

I'm standing in a stone building (opulence, splendor) at the centre of the city. I know the precise moment that it happens, because it feels like a string is being cut. And just like that, destiny has been rewritten. The prince is dead, long live the prince.

A cell phone chimes in my pocket. I answer on the third ring.

"Hello, 'Father'," I say, irony in my tone. "So, when is my coronation?"
