    1. Halloooo!

Wellp, I'm back. Again. Yeah, I feel really bad that I've been gone for so long! I've finally decided to try to get back into LDing. It's funny, because, the other night, I was looking at HowToLucid because I just randomly wanted to get back into the subject. The next day, one of my really good friends asked me if I'd hears of Lucid dreaming and then we talked about it for the rest of the day ^^

Aaaaannnyways, I actually recorded my dream!
      Here it is!

      6~14~16
My dad and I went to a school. For some reason we felt like attacking random people, and I ended up doing it. With a.... marker...? Yeah, I thought that was strange, too. But, anyways, I 'attacked' about a dozen people with an Expo Dry Erase marker. I remember attacking an older girl who I recognize from WL, and have always wanted to befriend. I felt really sorry. I also remember that, in that dream, I explored town and traveled on a public bus. Later, the dream shifted into an almost post-apocalyptic setting. I remember having to hide from my math teacher so I could steal resources/weapons from her. I collected quite a few weapons, and I stored them in a Resident Evil 4 style inventory, where I 'tetrised' things around (although I only remember storing a random sniper rifle). Then I think I woke up and attempted a WILD, but drifted into a nonlucid dream. In this dream, I remember running a shop. Well, it wasn't much of a shop, but I was in one of those barber shop-type buildings. A whole bunch of kids from my school (more specifically, boys) came in and out of the building but literally all they did was sit down. I remember recognizing a guy I share all my classes with IWL. The only thing I really did was wipe off the doorknob, but for some reason it had the same feeling as my previous dreams.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #216: Through the Roof

It’s some time after 4 AM and I’m wandering around downstairs, badly wanting to get some sleep to have a lucid dream. Somehow, Wife’s still awake watching something on her computer and I’m worrying that she really needs to get to sleep. “Well, I’m heading up,” I hint.

“Good night,” she says, still staring at the computer.

I head upstairs into the master bedroom. It’s dark, but there’s enough light that I can clearly see Wife curled up in bed. Wife downstairs and Wife upstairs?
Dream! Since I’m in the bedroom, I get the sense that I’m supposed to start the lucid in the OBE style and “roll out of my body”. But I’m standing. How would I even do that?

Instead I decide to just float up through the ceiling, phasing out of the house and into the void. I thrash about a bit in the darkness and do a half-assed summon. Something that feels like a dry erase marker pops into my left hand, so I jam the end into my mouth and start chewing on it. With my right hand I make awkward swimming motions and imagine that I’m making forward progress.

After a bit of swimming, the void lifts and now I’m standing in my bathroom, all of the lights blazing. The bathroom looks mostly like it does in waking life apart from the fact that the mirrors are a little fogged up and have these odd creases in them. I can see my double in the mirror, making chewing motions with his mouth but he has no dry erase marker in his mouth. I grin and my double grins back, his mouth still shaped like he’s got the dry erase in it.

I dash around the room for a bit, keeping my eye on the mirror and my double does the same. I remember my intent to summon Dreamer. I reach behind me and try the summon, remembering my tip to Xanous to “try to just feel the person’s hand as if it’s already there”. To my complete embarrassment, this doesn’t work at all.

I try again and it’s not working. I become paranoid and wonder if it’s because I’m trying to summon in front of mirrors. I realize this is stupid but decide to try getting out of the room to see if that helps. As I’m walking to my left, I get this sense that I’m stumbling forward and
      the dream ends.

On her facebook, it said sleep with and it said my name and. Then i remember being on this computer and I heard my family laughing, they called me and then i went to see what was up, they were all laughing at the TV while drawing mustaches on the characters on tv, it was actually pretty funny, I remember it vividly
All my dreams mostly take place during night time, I should do most of my ADA and RCs there.
    4. Dried-up Permanent Marker

      I don't remember much
I was talking with a friend, I don't remember who, and they were using a black marker on a page, pressing really hard. I took it and wrote with it but it was too dried up. I started pressing really hard and it made the awful squeaking noise and feeling in my hand and I shivered in disgust as I would do IRL.
I remembered that ^^^ because someone at school was using a highlighter, and when I remembered, I thought it was from the day before. I had to really think and check that it was a dream that I remembered.

      Next dream
I met up with my friend James who I haven't seen for a while. I saw his sister and said "Hey!" and she ignored me, so I yelled out and she said "Oh hi Kevin!"
      The end :3

    5. Book Shorts

by , 06-24-2010 at 01:35 AM (Mespia's DJ of Doom)
I was sitting in my room, on a couch covered with a blue plastic-like material. I was chatting with a relative of mine, and there were a few markers lying around. This unknown relative uncapped a marker and made a small dot with it on the couch. It was either green or blue.

"I dare you to test out one of the markers, too," she said.

"Ok," I responded. I picked up a red marker and made a small dot on the couch. Suddenly, my relative leaped up.

"You wrote on the couch! I'm telling Dad!" She ran out of the room, still threatening to get me in trouble.

I didn't mind, considering she made a mark too and how much trouble could I get in for this offense, anyway? Then I thought of something. I licked my finger and rubbed it on the dot. It disappeared. That's right, I thought. This is Crayola washable marker.

I finished cleaning up the couch and grabbed this pair of silk shorts I've slept with ever since I was a baby. I wandered out of the room, not really sure where I was going. My bra was annoying me. I pulled it on more comfortably over and over again. My mom walked in in front of me.

"Is your bra annoying you? You should really get a new one. Why don't you go shopping tomorrow?" She said.

"Ok," I replied, happy that I wasn't in trouble for the marker dots. I wandered off again, still holding the shorts.

I sat down after a while, and talked to my little sister and her friend. I didn't know her friend, she was completely fictional. She was about about eleven years old, same as my sister. She had reddish hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail, freckles, and glasses. She and my sister started making fun of me for something, and I got really upset. I walked away into what was probably a dining room.

I sat down on the floor, looking down at the silk shorts. There were all sorts of words on it, like a book. This seemed completely normal to me, I actually "remembered" it being like that before. I was a bit bored, and I didn't know what to do, but then I remembered the shorts. I could read those to pass the time!

Looking at them more closely, I saw that the words formed a rather long table of contents. Apparently, the "book" included all sorts of topics, from merits to how to host a graduation party. Some of the sections had the word "new" next to them in big letters (presumably because they were newly added to the book). Here, I had a bit of a nagging feeling. Sure, my shorts had always had words on them , but I didn't remember parts of the table of contents. Last time I checked, half the stuff hadn't been on it. I dismissed it, though, deciding that I just hadn't paid enough attention.

I decided to start reading, but then I realized that these shorts only had the table of contents on them. I'd have to get another pair if I wanted the actual content of the book. This annoyed me, because I never remembered having another pair of shorts like that. Then I woke up.
