I was leading group of friends and family to some dark castle. We moved to an entry chamber, it was really dark but I knew that there would be some traps in there. I sharpened my senses - everything turned grayish and some bats were highlighted red. We moved onward and they only flied away. Going through some square we got to a fortified village and got attacked by squads of mercenaries. They shot whole group down, only I was left. I grabbed some guns and started shooting, quickly eliminating threat.

Recalled a precognitive dream: I was in school, writing something in an electronic device - foresters' index.

      First dream

There was a zombie outbreak in a skyscraper. Soldiers were sent there to clear the area for rescuing forces. They have failed, making the army of undead even bigger. While government was trying to completely remove zombies, some agencies hired mercenaries to gather information about them, their weak points and about survivors. I was one of the mercenaries. I entered the skyscraper and took an elevator to fourth floor. According to military data, it was the floor that was heavily infested, a death trap. I took only a step inside, and was attacked. It was dark and I couldn't see it. I took a knife and stabbed the zombie in throat. The elevator was broken and couldn't move further. I took staircase up, and found a room with a survivor. It was a redhead child. Little girl was lying under a cape in her bed. I heard someone moving and shoot at that direction. It was a young redhead woman, probably little girls sister. She got hit and fallen down the staircase. I entered the room with the girl. There was a man lying on the floor. He looked like one of my pals. He was pale and stiff. I asked the girl if he's alive. She said that probably not. I shot him in the head and said "Case of death: Shot to the head" and thrown him down. I decided to secure the survivor. We talked for a while about my goals.

      Second dream

I was a black man. I was wearing a green t-shirt and blue short trousers. With a girlfriend - a black female, we were racing who will run from one point to another first. We ran through streets, alleyways and buildings, including building sites and factories. I lost two races, but won third. My girlfriend disappeared somewhere though, and I was really worried, as we had an argument some time ago.

      Wasted Earth

I was inside a crypt. I was working with an expedition to discover secrets of a forgotten civilisation. I was searching for rock slabs that covered knowledge about it's past. I've found one, and took it to one of the researchers - an old man with long, grey beard and grey hair. He told me that they received an information about placement of one of the slabs, and gave me electronical device similar to PDA.

I went out of a crypt I was inside before, and looked around. The world was highly devastated. Toxic gases filled the air, I could see green clouds on the seeimngly dark brown sky. I could breathe normally though. The soil was barren, and there were only a few oasis where any vegetation could survive. I could see distortions over the horizon, and then I've received a message from researchers that I should move quick, as a huge heat wave was coming.

I had no weapon or protective suit. My only chance was to get quickly to the place where slab was seen, and get back as quickly as I can. I moved on. The air became more dry over the time, and distortions over the horizon were getting stronger.

Going through dry river valleys and entering a plateau of barren land I looked at all the skeletons scattered around. They must've died in one sudden event. Suddenly I spotted an oasis in the distance. It covered a hill and a valley. It wasn't too big area. Seeing that heat wave was getting much stronger, I ran towards it.

I got into the oasis just in time. I saw that heat wave gathered enough strenght that soil started to burn. The anomalous heat wave haven't had any effect on the oasis though. I looked at the sky. Dark brown colour transisted smoothly with red and orange.

I sat on the ground. Looking on the PDA-like device I saw that the slab is Then I heard someone cursing at the sudden heat wave. I went there, and saw a man in blue protective suit. It was reinforced, and some mechanisms were added to make it more of a protective exoskeleton. The man wasn't wearing helmet. He had dark hair and brown eyes. I started the conversation.

      - What's going on?

      - Man!? Where have you been for past few months?

      *silence*

      - Alright then. Any other questions?

      - Where did you get that protective suit?

      - Found a few kilometres away from this oasis. It belonged to a dead mercenary.

      - Who killed the mercenary?

      - You should ask what killed him. Beasts. Horrible creatures adapted to live in this hostile environment.

      - What can you tell me about those beasts?

      - Probably there are many species of them, but we know about only a few. Example of them can be sliders. They have strong exoskeleton, and razor-sharp teeth. When chasing their prey, they slide on the ground. They are dangerous alone, and if you can meet group of them - good luck. The second beast you need to know about are bone breakers. They don't attack you, and their meat seems to be edible. You must be carefull when hunting them, as they have muscular limbs, able to break femur without using their full capabillities.

      - How can they survive in the heat?

      - Sliders dig holes and hide deep in the ground. When heat waves are over they wait for a prey to walk over the hole. Bastards can feel you coming from long distance. Bone breakers live close to caves, but they also visit oasis from time to time. Deep in the cavernous lakes they are safe from heat. You must also know about more dangerous species. Two most dangerous beasts are predators and wild horns.

      - I guess predators are the most dangerous?

      - Nope. Predators are weak, and live only in upland regions, where they can find suitable for them conditions. Their only strenght is their speed and powerful limbs. They can tear your limbs apart. Wild horns are the most dangerous beast you'll ever encounter. The mercenary belonged to a group that was attacked by one wild horn. The beast's exoskeleton is stronger than any other substance found in the Wastelands. Eyelids of the beast are protected by transparent layer of this substance when eyes need protection. Bastards can survive strongest of heat waves. When they see their prey, they shoot horns out of their backs. The rain of high speed horns made of strong, sharp substance can go through any armor. This was the only armor that was in quite good state. I had to throw away the helmet, as one of the horns hit the mercenary in the head. I have a helmet in my stuff, ready to be put on when going out of the oasis. Anyway, what are you doing here?

      - I was sent to recover a slab.

      - You mean this? I took it from dead mercenaries. Why do you need it?

      - I help researchers of forgotten civilisation. I need to give it back to them.

      - And they've sent you on suicidal mission for a slab? Nevermind, take it.

I take the slab in my hand, and put it in a backpack. I ask.

      - Why did you cursed at the heat?

      - I wanted to move on, when it stopped me from getting out of this place.

      - Why do you want to leave the oasis?

      - It's too peaeful in here, people just can't live without their problems.

*I'm surprised that I could recall such amount of dialogue. All I remembered in the morning were brief moments. By trying to recall more of the dream a few times this day, I was able to recover some lost information about the dream.*
    4. HUNK vs. The Village, I'm an Incubus Attempting to Hypnotize Women

      HUNK vs. The Village (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Another Resident Evil 4 type of dream where I'm playing the Mercenaries section, and that's because I've been playing a lot of Resident Evil Games lately. The character I'm controlling is HUNK, and he has the default costume setting with the major color being black. His goggles though didn't seem to have the red hue though, it was mostly faded out. It could be that the colors for them were shifting from black to red. And it would've been difficult to notice something like that in the dream to hopefully become lucid because of the situation he's in.

The moment HUNK (yes the name is naturally expressed in caps) steps into the village, there's already Las Plagas infected villagers that are coming after him, maybe 5-10 in frequent moderation throughout this dream. Of course, I had a sub-machine gun just like in the actual mini-game you play with him, and I also remember his neck-breaking ability that's essentially a one-hit kill.

The village was a pretty decent replication of the one in the actual RE4 game, with the mini-bell tower from the far left corner, the two houses that are about 30-80 feet apart from each other left and right, the mini-shed/barn at the beginning of the village to the left, almost everything is where they're supposed to be.

I wanted to use the neck-breaker to my advantage even though I most likely had unlimited ammo in the dream seeing as I wasn't so worried with how much was left. So I aimed for the enemies' head so that they would flinch, put their hands on the inflicted area that distracts them before I attempt the neck breaker move. It seems it worked pretty well for the first few Las Plagas victims, but then dream logic starts coming in to make things worse for me.

As I shoot the enemies in the head, as I'm trying to press the command to prompt the Neck-breaker move, it doesn't work as effectively as I thought it would. I think the Las Plagas hosts even brushed off HUNK by literally just grabbing his wrists before he could kill them. So in the mean time, I decided to just spam the unlimited ammo sub-machine gun, even though at THIS time of the dream, I now get worried about the ammo capacity. As the anxiety continues to augment, I started to notice more things, like this dream actually being timed.

Instead of the timer appearing on the top left-hand corner, it shows up on the opposite, and I noticed, at least when I quickly glanced at it, the timer was at 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Of course, with how time is interpreted in dreams, that could've been 2 pigtails and 30 Oldspice deodorant overlords from the 23-43 delta section of the Nova Universe for all I know. But I didn't bother with looking for ( ' ) or ('') near the numbers to see if it was in minutes or seconds, too much anxiety built up. I quickly made HUNK run through the village to collect some Hourglasses to extend the time like in the real game.

It was quite a challenge even finding any that should be in certain location, and then I saw a green hourglass, but I'm not so sure that I used it yet. I probably presumed at the time of the dream that it was going to give me a bonus, and I didn't want to use that until I was sure I could do a really, really, really long combo with the neck-breaker one hit move.

HUNK is moving considerably fast in this village, and the villagers themselves don't even become a problem to me anymore seeing as I was focused on extending as much time as possible (even though I could've just use willpower to create implied experiences of there being extended time). As I stroll around the village, I sensed someone completely different from the villagers, and it ends up being Krauser with a completely developed Las Plagas like arm-blade. Despite of my previous dreams with him basically just trying to instill fear into me only to probably get my attention and discuss something to me, I still didn't want to take the risk.

The reason being is that I was so driven up with putting up my defenses and focusing more on reflexes to survive the onslaught of Las Plagas victims around me that Krauser was no exception to this. He doesn't run as fast as he SHOULD though...

I started to go into spectator mode and gazed over the village to get a good estimate of how close Krauser is from me. It seems the villagers themselves don't see him as an enemy, and it seems he's personally using them as shields should we get into close encounters. I decided that in order for me to destroy as many Las Plagas hosts all in one spot, and hopefully Krauser as well, I would have to bait them into a location where it's tight-spaced. The first location that comes to my mind it to seek out the barn/mini-shed that would be located at the beginning of the village on the left. It had a ladder, which was the perfect tool for me to go on higher grounds and shoot enemies trying to climb up to me.

However, even with that, I was a bit forgetful of the fact that Krauser just might be able to jump up if he suddenly has his near-superhuman speed back again. It didn't seem Krauser showed up as much, and I end up just shooting the villagers,
but after that, my recall of this stops there.

I'm an Incubus Attempting to Hypnotize Women (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

The dreaming environment's setting is night-time, however, with how the dream scene alternating between day and night, it's hard to make out where I really started in this dream. I did know that I was an Incubus with purple skin and a vanilla or tan-brown robe wrapped around my waist and hanged all the way down to my ankles. I don't know my overall ambition in this dream, but it seems I'm just after a set of women, any that I can kind.

I heard some giggling and decided to fly around a bit and found there were able 6 or so females talking to each other. I wanted to use hypnosis, the type that isn't really what hypnosis stands for in waking life, the classical stage one where people think a person is really manipulating someone, but they're not. It was weird how I was going to manipulate their minds, an on-screen white HUD shows up in the middle and shows a list of who I want to start manipulating. Of course, I spammed for all 6 or so females, and about 4 out of the 6 managed to fall unconscious.

Problem is, those other 2 ended up being a challenge for me, and I think pretty quickly they prevented me from getting the other women. So I had no other option than to run and fly away.

Oh and they giggled at me for running away as well, guess I'm not getting pussy with being scared.

Lol, so much for dream sex.

    5. Day 6 - The Pirate King and Mercenary Queen

by , 04-18-2011 at 02:30 PM (The Sane Asylum)
I think this one is particularly awesome for some reason, except for the fact that it just seems like hilariously shitty fan-fiction. I wish I could remember it more clearly, but this is the clearest dream I can recall so far.

I start out in this sort of shanty town/tent camp where I am an assistant to the Pirate King Deadpool. Really, he's just referred to as the pirate king, because he doesn't actually have any ships. His business partner and ally (and rumored lover?) Cammy White, the Merc Queen pays him a visit, and leaves shortly after with her small troop of guards.

Sitting on a barrel, Deadpool mentions to me that he needs to repay that favor. He stands and announces to his army his intent to kill and present one thousand enemy troops, the Blue Arrows with some special conditions - that their hands and insignias go unharmed, and that ten of them are captured alive.

And so we come to a beach - the sky is dreary, and the water at a very low tide. There are dunes where the water ends at high tide, and no birds though I'm not sure why this is notable. The battle starts. I don't actually remember much about the battle itself, aside from some random office worker (a somewhat Dilbert like character) going through a rather cartoony sequence of trying to capture the ten men who were to be left alive and them escaping repeatedly. Third time's the charm though, and he gets them. One of the men captured is a midget, and Deadpool mentions we'll release him later. He then threatens one of the men who accidentally maimed one of the corpses' hands.

Back at camp, Cammy is waiting for Deadpool, and he mentions what he's done. I woke up shortly after this.

Altogether the clearest dream I've had so far. Let's hope it goes uphill from here.
    6. Chun-li's death and resurrection

by , 09-01-2009 at 01:58 AM (Visions in the Dark)
Dream starts off in an long, ancient hall with wood floors and stone pillars. One side is open to the sea and the other is a line of small alcoves. I am my Chinese dream incarnate Chun-li, and I am married to a causasian man and have to children, a girl and a boy. My mother, an elderly Chinese lady also lives with us. The boy is just a baby but the girl is about 11 or 12 I think. I am very responsive and emotional towards my family, and my whole existance revolves around fulfillling thier every need, which I am more than pleased to do. Despite our sparce, limited space we are happy, though we never go into the water because it is filled with giant and dangerous creatures that swim near the edges of the sea waiting to make a meal of anyone unfortunate enough to get to close to the edge or fall in.

My daughter and I are arguing about her aquarium full of frogs, but I cannot remember why. I trip on something and fall onto the aquarium, smashing it to peices, greatly upsetting my daughter. There is water and frogs all over the floor but I do not clean it up as my attention is drawn to my mother who has fallen to the floor as well, having had a heart attack. I wail and cry over her body as she dies. I am so overcome with grief that I collapse on my fallen mother and die too, leaving my much dependant family to fend for themselves.

The dream kind of fast forwards, but follows my husband and children. My husband is overwhelmed and unable to keep the home safe from sea creatures (which I was able to do somehow) and taking care of our children is a great burden on him. Two giant eel like sea creatures repeatedly attack the homestead, forcing my family to flee the narrow stone hall to an open plain nearby. A steep cliff juts out at the end of the hall and a great, leafless Birch Tree is at the center of semi-circle alcove in the cliff.

Some time has passed and my husband is harried and absent minded and misplaces our son, while our daughter is somehow able to freely reach the high plateau at the top of the cliff and return at will. My husband finds our son stuck in the great Birch tree but doesn't know how to get him down. As he frantically tries to figure things out, he runs into two large men, one red haired and carrying a katana, and another tanned, dark-haired, muscular man carrying a large hammer-like weapon. My husband begs the men for assistance but they at first ignore him because they are attacked by the large eel like creatures that had been harassing my family before. The eels have been stalking my family and followed them from the ancient hall, unnoticed along the sea's edge.

Despite their large size and formidable weapons, the two men are unable to defeat the creature without the help of a female companion with whom they've been travelling. They call her in from the sidelines and it turns out to me, Chun-li, even though I am supposed to be dead. I appear alive, but I am cool, calculated and stoic. I am unresponsive to my husband and daughter's cries of surprise and if I recognize the members of my family I do not show it.

I have either a long thin sword like an epee or a silver magic wand and just by waving it in the direction of the eels I can give them a horrendous electrical shock, which does not kill them, but drives them away. I am unconcerned of the baby boy stuck in the tree and leave my large male companions to deal with it while I walk away, unemotionally. My male companions soon follow and leave my shocked and perplexed family behind.

Several years have passed and my male companions and I return to the great Birch tree area by the sea's edge. My husband and children are still there, but just as before I do not acknowledge them. My son has grown up and is in his early teens, while my daughter has not aged at all for some reason. My husband also looks the same though his is thinner and more visibly frazzled. My travelling companions and I are on some sort of mission which has led us back to this area, and we briefly make an excursion to the great plains on the plateau above, where my family now lives (where I see my daughter flying a red kite but I ignore her) before having to venture back into the ancient stone hall from the beginning of the dream. My son and daughter refuse to let me out of their lives again, even though I am still unresponsive to their needs, and they follow us into the hall. Reluctantly my timid, harried husband follows.

There are several encounters with the giant eels, and though I still act stoicly, I also go out of my way several times to save my children from danger. That convinces them that I do remember them and still care somehow and they pledge never to leave my side. I do not repond to their declaration, but they are no longer bothered by my unresponsiveness.

At some point my two large male companions disappear, as does my husband. I pass through the old hall where I used to live and for the first time since "returning to life" I show some response to the environment around me, especially when we come to the alcove where my daughter's aquarium had been. The floor is still wet and there is broken glass everywhere, as if the mess was still fresh and had never been cleaned up, but where the frogs had fallen before now there are tiny stone statues in the shape of the amphibians. The frogs having turned to stone has something to do with my daughter not aging, but I don't know exactly what the connection is and neither do my children.

We travel pass the former homestead and come to a covered deck like area that is open to the sea. A final battle of sorts is fought with the giant eels but this time my children are able to help me. They have somehow acquired minature versions of the katana and hammer that my previous travelling companions carried. When the eels are dispensed and my children jumping up and down and celebrating wildly, I enter another hall that goes to what looks like a vast furniture store, though it is empty of people, dimly lit, and the furniture is all covered in dust. On a table on the far side of the store there is a bowl full of smarties and chocolate chips, which I start stuffing into my pockets. I can hear my children looking for me and for some reason this fill me with apprehension.

My children find me and ask what I am doing to which I reply nothing, even though I continue to gather candies and put them in my pocket. My children continue to watch me and the dream ends there.
