    1. Four Dream Fragments

by , 07-29-2013 at 07:31 PM (Casting Shadows)
[I actually thought that last night would mark the start of a memory without fragments, but I was wrong. Oh well. Normally these sorts of things only last from two to four or five days.]

      1) In this room there is a lot of brown. There are adults with us kids. What we (the kids, I don't know about the adults) were doing is rebellious, but not necessarily "bad" or "evil."
[Those were the words that I chose when I woke up this morning: "bad" and "evil." I really want to know what we were fucking up ]

      2) Krystal and I were playing a card game, or maybe even a board game (though I don't think so). I had never played it before and so Christine was trying to teach me the basic rules. She was explaining to me that whatever you were to say, you were to say it clearly because all of what you said would be actions carried out by your side. She proved this to me when she said that ice would be a way to escape. I then seen the scenario that she was talking about. A slightly boyish-looking girl was behind a layer of ice, and behind her was a blue monster that had been chasing her. The girl placed her finger onto the ice and drew a circle, which then made that portion of the ice fall to the ground. Both the girl and the monster jumped through the ice and continued their chase. When it was my turn a scene came into my head of a reddish-orange car carrying the game's cards in the back of it and hitting an electrical fence. All of the cards exploded and the scene disappeared and I was looking at Krystal again. She was disappointed about losing her cards, but she understood. "Especially since this is, what, your third time playing?"

      "Fourth," I corrected.

I was grateful that she wasn't mad at me

      3) Stan was up to something.
[Can you believe that that was supposed to be a long dream?]

      4) Hogwarts looks like your typical haunted mansion. It's on top of a cliff that is so high you cannot see the bottom, and there are four rickety bridges that lead to each of the four Houses. The rain is falling terribly here. There is a "House Switching" where some of the students are transferred to different Houses.

I take the viewpoint of Harry and I am talking to sixth-year Tom Riddle. He keeps talking about how he didn't do everything he ever did "evilly." I don't disbelieve him; in fact I think I am contemplating his words, wondering if Voldemort is truly one-hundred percent evil or if he is something else. I think that Tom was talking about the House Switching in "his day" and how he remained in Slytherin.

Anyway, Harry started crawling on one of the bridges, the one to Hufflepuff. Depending on how you stood it could have either been the one on the left or the one on the right, and I'm pretty sure from the point where I was talking to Tom it was on the left side.

Here's a point where I can't remember what happens and suddenly I (again, as Harry, who looks very Hufflepuffy) am sitting on a balcony. I only remember there being three balconies for Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, but there may have been one for Slytherin as well. Ron was still a Gryffindor but I think that Hermione had been Switched over to Ravenclaw. The three of us were talking about all of the House points we were going to collect.
    2. Park Sale, Caterpillar Parasite, Mayuge, Cocoa Song

Wow, been a while since I've posted! Definitely still dreaming, even had a few lucid dreams. Just haven't posted here. :/ BUT my recall is improving wonderfully from where I've been working on it, so now that I'm having longer dreams I thought I'd post them here.

Also, something that's really been helping is the method of loci. I have over 80 things in my memory palace, including a few things for dreaming. I'm excited to try out some more dreaming ideas with it!

Also, I'm learning Esperanto, and the last dream I had involved it. XD I love languages in dreams.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      04.04.2011

      Park Sale (Non-lucid)

A group of people and I are sitting inside somewhere listening to a woman being abused next door, and for some reason we're unable to try to do anything to stop it. We're trying to be quiet so they don't know we're there when my old school friend's little sister starts crying. I rush over to console her, but then suddenly I think I'm outside. Another girl is crying and I hurry to grab her.

Note: The abuse thing makes sense for some things in my RL.

I'm in a park and I clutch three dolls in my arms. I think that the smallest one is strangely silent, but then remember that she had some condition that made it so she didn't speak. There are people with their children on swings and such. There's a merry-go-round.

I think I jog at some point and make pregnancy breathing noises, and a woman hears and is amused. Next I'm in this area where people apparently normally read (it's one of those shelter places in parks that people can reserve), but now someone tells me they're setting up for some kind of sale (I forget what kind).

I think I fly before or after this point because I remember almost flying into a few things. A woman hands me a little box and tells me to make sure the time is set. I take the small (glass?) object out of a box and set it on the table. It says it's seven minutes until starting time.

      - I say something about the girls and someone gives them a bit of a strange look. Holly (girl from old school)? I think she was the person on the other side of the table from me.

      Caterpillar Parasite (Non-lucid)

I'm at a party or something. At the table beside mine is a glass jar of liquid (I think I briefly remember that it looks like my grandma's green bean jars) and it has stuff in it. I take it, open it and and am about to fish something out with a hooked utensil* when the girl who as sitting with the jar tells me not to put such a thing in there.

-* It feels like I did the same thing in the dream, but with a different object.

One thing leads to another and I end up throwing the liquid on her. Then apparently someone is sent to take care of the situation. I tell the girl at my table fake innocently that it was an accident. I think in my head what I'm going to say when the person gets here.

While waiting, I suddenly feel something on my back through my overalls (from RL that I'm wearing) bother me. I ask the girl to take a look.

...It's a caterpillar. The girls turns into a doctor women trying to get it out, but it slips back in. I can feel it moving around and shiver, grossed out.

      - In a later scene, me and the girl I threw the liquid on(?) are walkng by the water, 'both' of us recovered and apparently had made up.

      - In the end, there was a scene of a midget woman in her house, weak from some illness. A midget man comes to see her. She was sleeping on the couch. He helps her stand and walk.

      Cocoa Song (Non-lucid)

I'm in the back of aunt 1's car and have really got to pee. A song is distantly playing and I only realize when I'm inside that it was my iPod. A boy is there and says that he likes it. I say it's _ by _ ('Cocoa' was one of the blanks, the other word was short).

I clean some sunglasses (one was my sister's?) and take them out to aunt 1.

      - Was aunt 1's boyfriend in the car? I think my sister might have been in the dream somehow.

Note: The reason I had to pee so bad in this dream was because before this dream, I woke with a nosebleed. I went to the bathroom to get tissue and realized I had to go, but I was too tired to care and went back to sleep.

      眉毛 (Non-lucid)

Skyward view of a 'map'. Flags are drawn on it (I think it reminds me of Hetalia). At one point I see eyebrows and think of England. Another time flags are along a coast, and one reminds me of England's flag- but I already saw the eyebrows so I think that these 'must just be states' (or other nations?).

      - Scene of me spitting plain noodles into a white trash can, only to realize it has dad's stuff in it. I tell him (he's sitting nearby) and he's all, well, dad-like in his reaction. XD I think to myself that at least it was mostly on the one side, shouldn't be too hard to get it out.
