    1. What's Real DILD

by , 01-25-2019 at 09:16 AM (Inner World حلم Gamma Waves)
Dream starts out with some anime characters fighting and meeting up in some odd looking land. But then things started zooming up and I was no longer in third person. I found myself in a room that look like a restroom yet unfamiliar to me. That's when thing started looking more and more real and I became lucid. I look in the mirror and was pondering the realization that I was dreaming. As I am doing this I eventually start to wake up from thinking about it too much.

    2. Too Real to Forget

      by , 05-23-2016 at 01:36 PM
Last night I had a dream that was so real it freaked me out. So I went to bed at a normal time, but in my dream I woke up as if it were the next day already. The only problem was, I wasn't in my room or even my bed anymore, I was in my ex boyfriend's house in his bed watching him and his friend play xbox. When I realized that I was there and that we had broken up I got really confused and started freaking out in the dream. Both of them looked at me and thought I was just being crazy and they told me to go back to sleep. So I went back to his bed and went back to sleep, hoping I could escape. When I woke up again, I was in his friends bed at his friends house. I got up because I thought something felt weird and when I looked at the bed I saw my ex cuddling another girl, his friend next to the girl, and I was all alone staring. I tried to walk away but there was an invisible barrier keeping me in the room. The two boys woke up and started yelling at me to leave but I couldn't because of the barrier. I'm not quite sure what happened but I blacked out in the dream and then woke up for real in my own bed.

This was super strange because we broke up 7 months ago and haven't actually seen each other in about 5 months. The break up ended badly which is strange why I'd be hanging out with them after that. I'm not sure what to make of the dream but it's haunting me and I'm hoping someone can help.
    3. Another DILD (HOORAY)

      by , 10-08-2015 at 04:20 AM (Dimension X)
I'm beginning to get the hang of this, I think...!

This was a short one, but while I was in the dream, it still felt like I had a sense of time. I think this was the first DILD I've had where I felt like I was actually there, as if I used the WILD technique.

I'm not sure when, but I became lucid for no apparent reason in the dream. There was no obvious trigger that made it happen... But nevertheless, I was with my dad outside a store at night and I remember him leaving me at the store, but then I was hiding and I saw him get out of the truck and walk somewhere. I tried to stay hidden behind a fence as I watched him walk into a house.

This dream was a lot longer than it may seem here, though...

Does anyone have any tips for the DILD technique, other than the really obvious ones?

by , 12-05-2013 at 12:26 PM (In the real life)
      Hello everybody!
I started my very own dream journal just a couple of weeks ago and since pretty much everything i wrote in it was written right after i wake up, it's all scrambled and barely readable. So to give my dream recall a boost i'm going to post my dreams here too, edited and in the proper sequence. I hope you enjoy the life story of my other reality! : )

    5. Very realistic Lucid Dream

      by , 06-19-2013 at 08:00 PM (TheSpiderSilva's Dream Journal)
Last night, I had what was probably the most real looking lucid dream I've ever had. This was pretty much the only time where I couldn't control things very easily though, so that was kind of disappointing.

Still, the dream itself was pretty cool. I'll explain it to you:

The setting was my house, but it was facing the opposite direction that it normally does. It was also in a different area... it was on an enormous grassy field with a few trees here and there. It was actually pretty beautiful.

Off in the distance, there was a huge pyramid. It looked like an Egyptian pyramid, though it was different because the top of it was rectangular, and it had strange symbols written on it. It was weird that I could see the symbols, because it was probably several miles away.

Closer to where I was, there were dinosaurs grazing. I saw some triceratops, hadrosaurs, and a tyrannosaurus came charging towards them. I wish I would have ran over and interacted with them, I don't know why I didn't. I also should have went to the pyramid.

I decided to run, and I got to where I was doing 50 mph or more, so I decided to try and jump and fly. I tried several times to fly but I couldn't get it (weird because I've actually flown before in dreams and didn't have much trouble).

In this dream, I couldn't control much of anything. The only thing I did was pull the ground apart and then close it back up.

Also, I don't remember seeing any people in the dream, but I did hear some murmuring about how I was an "Aztec God".

This dream ended after a few minutes, and I was in another dream (though I thought I was awake), and I was actually telling my DCs about the lucid dream I just had. I forget what they said, but I think one of them said that lucid dreaming was stupid or something like that, lol.

And also, I'm getting a lot better at initiating lucid dreams!
    6. Boxing Head Nap

      Level of Lucidity: 7
      Level of Clarity: 9
      Level of Realism: 7
(levels based 0-10, 0-5 being low - good 5-10 being great - extreme)

I am laying down taking a nap because I am a bit tired. I can't really call this a full on lucid dream, because I never FULLY hit the dream state, I am in the void. I am having powerful visualizations of standing in a boxing ring. I keep using the MILD technique to remind myself that I am now in a dream and becoming lucid. I look to my left and notice that there's a black guy with a small afro and beard. He looks like the kind of guy you'd expect to find at the gym back in the 80's.

He looked similar to Michael Dokes, but with slightly shorter, curlier hair, and an 80's style mustache.

      Family trick?-michael_dokes-530x3171-530x317.jpg

He's standing in place, and punching the air, alternating between fists that move forward. I continue with my mnemonics, saying "I am now lucid in my dream". I find that by looking to my left, the dream state becomes more stable. I begin to alternate looking left and right. I look left just as the boxer punches with his left fist, I look right just as he punches with his right fist. We are in sync.

I turn slightly to my right, and the boxer walks up behind me, and begins to do his punching exercise with my head in between his arms. His fists pump one after another past my face, and I remember my All Day Awareness mental training. I begin to notice the small breeze of wind that hits my face as his fist flies past. I begin to look left when his left fist moves forward, then right with his right fist. We get in sync again.

This lasts for about 3 minutes, as I continue my mnemonics, slowly forgetting to continue them here and there.

I was unconscious to the world around me in the waking state, but my grandfather walked into the room and said something, which woke me. I awoke feeling extremely refreshed, but at the same time wanting to go back to sleep.

I stayed up because I had things to do.

(levels based 0-10, 0-5 being low - good 5-10 being great - extreme)

I was in LA (My home city) and was just finishing smoking a blunt... of tobacco. I was sitting at my computer playing Battlefield 3. I heard some people outside of my apartment looking at an apartment to lease and I knew it was late, perhaps 4 in the morning. I looked out of the window and there was a large family comprised of two parents, an uncle, and about 6 kids. Two of which were girls close to my age (18). One of them saw me looking out of the window and climbed up to the balcony to see me. She sat at my desk and I told her that I had been smoking. She doesn't seem to care. I put my hands on her knees and we are about to engage in sexual activity when she begins to pull away and talk, but it's still a heated kind of conversation. We then started making out etc. After we did that for a bit, her family walks out and she has to leave with them. I think her father saw us kissing, he was very mad and I ran out of the apartment and the complex was no longer my own, it is now like a Motel 6 on the exterior. The balconies were all different, and so were the colors, and every apartment had a window AC, just like at Motel 6's. I run into the last room on the end towards the street because the door is open and explained what's happening to my neighbor. I go and hide in the back which was a closet with a shower in it, and there was no door. When I think it's safe I stick my head out to thank the tenant but the family is walking past the window and the dad sees me. He comes inside and walks to where I am with his daughter and says some things to me but I can't make out what they are. All I understood was that he was angry. I talked to him for a bit, and before long we are friends. He knows I only wish the best and wouldn't simply take advantage of his daughter. The next thing I know we are on a fancy boat on a very futuristic beach, but there is no sand, instead there are huge mile high skyscrapers, and the waves were crashing into the base of them. In between 2 of the skyscrapers there's a sort of boating dock. The boat I was on was like a speedboat that would pull a tube behind it. Me and the girl are sitting in the front of the boat and one of her sisters was out swimming in the sea. Then suddenly she found some other boat and is doing something with it. She started it then pulled it behind our boat and tethered it to our boat.

That's all I remember, I forgot the dream upon awakening, but remembered about an hour and a half later, after I got out of the shower.

    8. Board Game Online

by , 10-26-2012 at 01:56 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
Last night, I dreamt that I was going to play Board Game Online with my friend Geoff. I don't remember what his username was, but it was all in caps and had the word "REAL" in it. For some reason, each of us was represented on-screen by a Vocaloid shimeji; I had Rin, and he had Kaito.

I think I also had another dream about trying to read something in Korean.
    9. Some time about a Year ago...

      by , 09-25-2012 at 10:27 AM
I am 14 now and This is a dream I had about 1 year ago and it's still clear as day in ly min. I think it might mean something...
      >>> In this dream I am about 15-16 years<<<
      - I was standing on the concrete slab in my backyard. My dogs weren't there, which was odd.it was a warm summers' night and I was looking at the stars. There was no moon on that night. I was staring at the empty space where the moon usually was. The next thing I know, there was a baby in my arms. I can't remember exactly what she looked like. Then there was a voice, it said "She is yours raise her. I will be back for her soon."
I was scared and confused. I did't interprete what he was saying.
The next thing I remember, I was at school, holding her, infront of my textiles classroom, on the school balconies, and people would pass me, asking 'who is that? is it yours? I don't remember you being pregnant!'
I would answer "She's mine, but I'm still a virgin." and smile. I couldn't control what I did or said.
I don't know how long this went for. But then I was in bed, with the baby girl next to my pillow. I was staring at her thinking `When I wake up, She'll still be there."- >ENDOFDREAM<
At this point, I woke up and looked around, near my pillow, under the covers, near my bed. She wasn't there. The whole time, I had known it was a dream but didn't want to accept it. The whole day, I wondered if I'd see her again.

That is a dream I had approximately slightly over a year ago, but I remember it as clear as day, I haven't forgotten anything since the moment I woke up. it was as if it was dream which had huge bits taken out. But it is exactly what I recalled the moment I woke up. Do mind, that I almost NEVER have dreams. But whenever I do, they will mean something. that I know, but i dont know what this one means... I do not remeber the baby girl's name or how she looks, or who's voice it was. but I REALLY need to know what it means!!
    10. Inception just got real

      by , 06-29-2012 at 02:46 AM (TheSpiderSilva's Dream Journal)
I don't remember much from last night's dream.

In my dream, I was in my grandma's house, in a room, sleeping on the floor. I was sleeping in my dream. I didn't know I was dreaming at the time, so I thought I was just sleeping. Then, someone came in my room, and tried to wake me up. I was partially awake (in my dream), so I was like "No, Vanessa, go away."

That's weird, because I don't know any Vanessa's. I know a ton of people, but no Vanessa's, and the person in my dream looked similar to someone that I know, but with different colored hair, and eyes.

      Just weird.
    11. Petting My Dog

by , 06-04-2012 at 04:27 AM (RommiH's Dream Journal (entries are not dated correctly. i am slowly transferring my DJ from my computer, to the one on DV))
I am supposed to meet dad and sis at home. I am at grandparents near the gate it dark and I on bike. I start to ride home. In the dark I am scared. I think about my fears. Mine is running puppies over. I nearly cry.. A big flash of light happens when I think this. Then I take right to my house. I bump into someone who might be dangerous. He walks in my direction. I keep riding home (almost there in front I can see it) I start to worry what he will do.. But he begins to walk away in another direction and im like oh ok Then he runs to my house and jumps the gate. I get off the bike and go in after him I yell at him. He goes in then jumps back out and is gone. Now I am in the front stone area.
I somehow realize I am dreaming… I think wow that was easy and then I start to think hmmm time to see just how real the dream world is. I touch the ground it is hard and feels 100 % authentic. I walk move it is all real. But I know it’s a dream. Then I go to derby I hold her feel her. The dream gets more stable during all this and more real. Derby feels real. I start to doubt whether this is a dream. I jump and see if I can float I cant. But I do fall a bit slow. Then I try to jump a table, which should be hard in waking life I land on to p of it not making it over. I then conclude that this was not a dream and I feel foolish and very tired. I wake up into a bed (not real one) then I fully wake up.

    12. My Subconcious

      by , 12-01-2011 at 11:26 PM
When people talk about having dreams, I fail to relate. By this I mean that they talk about fantastical things happening to them. Things like flying, or the earth being destroyed or something beyond unrealistic. Personally, my dreams are quite nearly the opposite. My dreams are basically memories being replayed or even edited.

I don't necessarily dream lucidly, no, I can only react in those memories, as I would in real life. Now that might sound rather dull, but I assure you that it's much more exciting than any lucid dream I've ever heard described.

When I say my dreams are edited I mean that it has fragments of memories folded, mixed, and smashed together to make something amazing.
For example, one of my favorite dreams to date is the one where me, my girlfriend (Redisreddish), and four others I know are in a skyscraper trying to fight off a horde of zombies.
Now that may sound crazy unreal, but it was too real. I have this weird thing where I can feel everything that's happening to me in dream. But the reason for this is due to the fact that everything I feel I've felt at some point in my life.
Other times the dreams are nightmares beyond comprehension. There have been times where I start out in the dream as me laying on a beach holding my girl and having a romantic moment (NOT SEXUAL!!!) and I feel knives entering my entire body.
People that lucid dream told me to just wake myself up, but you can't wake up from a memory!
At any rate, that's how I have dreams. If anyone reads this (but that I highly doubt) ask me more about my dreams if it interests you. I would also like to know if anyone else out there shares this kind of dreaming.
I'm also on facebook as Wes Hemenway.
    13. 23/04/11 Dream 6 Restaurant

by , 04-24-2011 at 07:29 AM (Lunar Chronicles)
I was very rich and I was hanging out with some of my friends. We were at an Italian restaurant. The people who worked there greatly respected me. I sat down and started to eat with a small child and a girl who i don't know in RL. After we had finished eating, some other people I know (not friends) came and sat with us. The guy squeezed himself in between me and the girl (in RL he is quite dodge with the girls :/). The girl and I were talking about lots of things. I remember that she had long blonde hair and green eyes. The little kid at the table refused to eat her food. When I looked across the road I saw a woman shouting at her two little girls for not wanting to share a Hell Butterfly, she then took the butterfly broke it in half and gave one piece each to the girls.

Awarness and logical thinking: super high
I was going fast as hell on sliding in the snow on some mattress and crashed right into a building without hurting myself. I then realized it was a dream and was now inside some building that had marine inspired interior. I had full awareness, it felt just like in real life. I touched the wall with my hand and was amazed how real it was. I walked around for a very short while before waking up
