    1. !st lucid dream (8/31/11)

      by , 09-17-2011 at 04:39 PM
I remember waking up in my bed.I did 2 reality checks and it worked. i knew i was dreaming. I remember trying to go outside. i was at the door and rushing to put my shoes on. i knew that if i didnt hurry up my mom was going to call me. i guess that was mistake number 1. the fact that i considered my dream mom my real mom. so as soon as i grabbed the handle to leave my mom called me. i went to go see what she wanted. mistake number 2. that was the ball buster. thats when i went back to my nd. therefore it didnt really feel like a lucid:(:?
    2. Highway Driving

by , 08-26-2011 at 04:15 PM (Enter the mind of Ladendais)
      Lucid
      Non-lucid

My memory picks up whilst I am driving in an odd area, not familiar to me. The streets are fairly crowded and it appears that I am in a large city, simply without the big buildings. I find myself driving behind an older lady while going down the on ramp that allows you to enter the highway. For no reason, I decided to do a nose plug reality check and it had worked. I was now on the highway, and I was aware that I was in a dream. I then jumped through the back of my car and landed on the highway. I see multiple cars coming toward me, and I simply walk right through them and they continue on down the road. I look up and to my left and I see a bunch of large advertisement signs scattered across the view of the city that I am able to see at the time. For whatever reason, I decide not to go into the city, and I then attempt to jump inside of passing cars as they are heading toward me. I soon find that this is not working, so I turn and run behind a car at an amazing speed. I just jump right through the back of a car, and I am now sitting in the back while the driver and the passenger are starring at me with a confused look on their faces. I don't notice who the driver of the vehicle is, but the passenger is a girl and we do a few things, then I awake from my dream.
    3. Some Really Short LDs

      by , 08-09-2011 at 10:53 PM (Burke's Nightly Escapades)
Last night (this morning) i had 3 different lucids, but each one lasted only like 5 seconds probably because i was stupid and did no stabilzation on 2 of them

Dream 1: I was sitting on my couch already lucid. I looked around, noticed i was in what seemed like my living room, but there were no doors. I noticed the TV was on, but before i could see what was on, I woke up.

Dream 2: I was laying in my bed, not really doing anything, and did a random reality check. I plugged my nose and tried to breath in.At first it seemed like i could breath, but when i tried it a second time, it didn't work. Then, i checked my hands. All fingers, no deformities, so i figured maybe i wasn't dreaming. Just to be 100% sure, i plugged my nose again and tried to breath. This time i was sure i was dreaming. However, my eyes started to close. I rubbed my hands to try to stabalize the dream, and it seemed to work. Then I tried to slowly open my eyes so that i wouldn't wake up, but unfortunately, it didn't work and i woke up.

Dream 3: I had just done a DEILD and was pretty sure i was in a dream. I plugged my nose, and i could breath! but before i could even think of what to do or even stablize the dream, it started to fade and I woke up. Damn, not having any luck today

    4. Angry Reality Check

      by , 08-07-2011 at 08:47 PM (I Have a Problem)
      Date: 05-21-11
      Length: 3 Minutes
      Vividness: 6/10

I was walking along a snow covered path with the Mexican guy with long hair from my P.E. class. He was talking about how he had a group of people sitting at a table, and he saw one of them do a reality check. He said that he walked over to him and asked him if he was dreaming. He told me that the guy said he gets angry whenever he does a reality check.
At this point, the guy I'm walking with begins to run towards a little shack not too far away. I start running as well.
      "He gets angry?" I asked.
And he kind of laughs and says yes. The guy in my P.E. class walks into the shack and grabs some tissues. He brings it to his face and says, "I love it when the bogies run down my face".
This weirds me out a little, but I make nothing of it. We walk out the other side of the shack and walk around a corner where a bunch of Mexican girls are standing. They looked at me kind of weird, as though I don't belong, and then I woke up.

    5. Fragments for July 11 2011

by , 07-13-2011 at 03:53 AM (Sailing the Noosphere)
Ah, horrible recall last few days finally broken.

      1. My friend P.M. is renting a camper from a couple of Russian guys. He drives me to it, but when we arrive it's really a dump. He brushes it off and says he has something more important to show me. He's apparently invented a time machine! The dream transitions to a futuristic room, containing a machine with five chambers. In one chamber, a man in Renaissance garb is sent to his native time. In another, an alien that looks like a dolphin is sent into the future. Yet another chamber contains a single banana, which is sent somewhere unknown. I crack a smile at that absurdity. Finally, two quarreling lovers are sent somewhere. I false awaken and start to dream journal about it, then actually awaken (big failed RC, and screw you subconscious).

      2. I'm a journalist, currently skulking around an abandoned African city. I go through the corridors and stairways of a dark factory, looking for the focus stone of a changeling child.
    6. Winter Flight and Fragments for July 8 2011

by , 07-09-2011 at 06:13 PM (Sailing the Noosphere)
      1. I forget under what circumstances it happens, but I do the nose pinch reality check and realize that I'm dreaming. I do the standard hand rub to stabilize, then see a window to the side of me. I have nothing better in mind, so I jump through it with ease and emerge on the other side into a winter scene. I start to fly and surge upwards through a cloud of snow. I realize that it's really rather cold, so I focus and summon a pair of gray wool pants. They appear in my hands with proper texture, and when I put them on they feel very soft and warm. I think about going into space, and as I look around I see a balloon ship. I fly over to it and fire up its engines, continuing to rise all the time. I try to change my clothes into a spacesuit, but I feel myself losing control...

I false awaken, and emerge into a scene where my mom and I are baking, with flour strewn everywhere. I ask nonchalantly if she was in the previous dream, and she responds that she's skilled enough to manage her own control. I talk excitedly about the concept of shared dreaming, admitting that it's probably "metaphysical bullshit."

      2. I'm with some girl in a room that seems almost like a temple. Around a central altar, where we both are laying, are twelve pillars that correspond to the signs of the zodiac. She is initially very aggressive and defiant, but I calm her down and it seems like we go through a relationship in superfast motion with stages informed by zodiac signs.

      3. I'm playing a game of hide and seek (using parkour to maneuver) on the Havana map of Call of Duty. My team has my brother and a couple of professional wrestlers, while my mom's team has her old friends. I eventually manage to track their last team member down and deliver the tag in a room from my own house.
    7. First Lucid

      by , 07-02-2011 at 01:29 AM
      Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid

I was going down Aberdeen Drive and a give way sign beamed down to my left. I instantly knew I was dreaming, and decided to do some RC's. I looked at a window in a van to look at my reflection and it was normal. Then I went like 50m down the road, and asked a man which had 2 watches, one on each arm, one digital and one analogue, for the time. It was 10:15, and I asked him 3 more times, but the time stayed the same. I was confused that my RC's didn't work so my dream faded.

This was my first Lucid Dream, so I thought RC's work every time etc etc. That's why it faded at the end.
    8. I had My First 5 second Lucid dream.

      by , 06-24-2011 at 08:03 PM
In the dream I basically got up out of my bed, walked over into the living room. but we had just rearranged the furniture that night and I noticed it wasn't in the right spot, so I went hmm. I did the reality check where you put your hand through your other hand. I looked down and I'm like.... oh..... thats not right. and then I woke up

    9. Fragments for June 21 2011

by , 06-23-2011 at 05:27 AM (Sailing the Noosphere)
      1. Playing D&D, which transitions from a traditional fantasy universe to a Western, and then into a LARP Western. I walk into a bar, where I meet a girl named Alice Smith, who's crying over some form that requires the sheriff's signature. I take up her case, and as I converse with her I read through a book of frontier law (failed RC). I eventually go get the sheriff's signature, but as I'm coming back to give her the form, I see a wanted poster for Alice as a Canadian spy. Disgusted, I leave, and meet up with the rest of my party in a nearby arcade. I notice a bunch of college friends at a restaurant table close to the arcade, but I don't go to meet them.

      2. I come across two very attractive women on the porch swing at the front of my old house. They are disdainful of me, but after a bit James Bond falls from the roof onto the porch in front of them, completely naked. They start cooing over his manliness, and this is so ridiculous I sort of wake up. I almost manage a semi-lucidity and insert myself into James Bond's body, but this is more of vivid daydream level of reality instead of true lucid sensation. I can't honestly count it as lucid, especially with poor recall as to subsequent events.

    10. A Cabin in the Stratosphere

      by , 06-17-2011 at 08:27 PM
I don't remember what signaled my dream state to me. I believe I was standing outside on the patio of this cabin like thing which was on the side of a huge cliff. Looking over the edge, I could not even see the bottom, only a thick layer of clouds. I think that is what made me initially suspicious. I walk inside and theres a nude girl who I think kind of looked like a girl from one of my classes.I walk up behind her and give her really nice ass a good grab. I remember wanting to bang her, but it didn't happen and I can't remember why.

So I go into my room, still a little unsure if I was dreaming or not. I think back to the last thing I had been doing. Unfortunately I recall going to sleep in a cabin, perhaps a memory from a prior dream. I look at this cabin and think it is much bigger then the cabin I recall falling asleep in and decide I probably am dreaming. I begin searching for something. I can't remember what it was, but there was something I wanted, and in a dream when you want to create an object, you don't try making it poof out of thin air with your mind. You simply just search for it until eventually you find it. I remember searching through all the things in my room until I found something. I don't remember what it was, but after finding it I decided I didn't really need it. I walk over to the light switch and flip it because in dreams they aren't suppose to work. When I flip it off, the lights turn off, however when I flip it a bunch really fast, the lights do not keep up with my flipping, but remain off entirely. That is, until I flip them on because I actually want light. It seems that lights do work in my dreams as long as I truly desire the light to change. The fact that it did work, however, kind of threw me off. I look around at the room and laugh because this room looks so different from my real room that it was obvious I was dreaming.

So I went back outside onto the patio and was trying to figure out what I should do. I begin telling my parents that we are dreaming and they argue with me and tell me this is real, which starts to make me question whether I am dreaming again. I look over the edge of the porch and feel the urge to just leap off and solve the mystery once and for all. I decide that the risk is a little too big, and that jumping off would probably ruin my dream anyways, and decide not to. I then see a candle and I decide I'm going to move it with my mind. I don't focus on it and tell it to move, I simply believe that it is going to move. I keep telling myself that it's going to, and then sure enough, it inches towards me. The rest of my dream, however, starts to become really unstable and blurry. I decide to stop trying since I'd already moved it a little bit and I was risking losing my dream to do so.

I then decide I want to fly, I try a little bit, and manage to do something weird. I just can't seem to get my mind off of whether I am dreaming or not, to the point where I am annoyed and want to test it once and for all. I begin trying to wake up. There are times in my dreams where I feel like I can feel my real eyes. I try opening them, some times they start to a little but then close back up. It's very difficult for me to do, probably because I'm in a state of sleep paralysis. I spend awhile trying to open my eyes, but with no success. It seems all I can think about now is escaping this dream. I feel trapped in it, like there is no way out. I start to worry that this has become my reality and decide to try a different technique. I begin spinning in a circle, because doing so usually causes you to teleport to another dream. I spin in a circle, and am actually finding it difficult to do so. For some reason it is hard for me to get up my speed. Nonetheless I think I finally accomplished waking myself up, or at least removing myself from that dream. I'm not sure when I woke up because I think I went right back to bed when I did.

    11. Hockey Dream (First one I ever remembered)

      by , 06-05-2011 at 09:51 AM
      Tonight I dreamt about hockey.
It all started off on the hockey field, mostly on our part of the field. So my team was defending.
I was the only one there, the other members in the team weren't close enough to help me defend.
So, I was defending by myself, and I was already in a crappy situation, but when I looked down to my hands, I was holding a pencil!
And I actually managed to defend with the pencil! So I took over the ball, and went to offence solo style.
Still using the pencil, I was running, but running was incredibly hard, I felt sort of disabled. Yet eventually I convinced my mind to make me run,
I ran faster and faster, flying past everyone (Even members of my team, I didn't pass the ball at all, and I scored!
Then I was tired and I just walked off the field, and strangely enough I noticed half of my team followed me...
It was kinda cool, they saw me as a leader
After like 10 minutes of relaxing, I felt like it was time to get back into the game and score again.
I ran onto the field (Struggling to run yet again) but I took control over the ball again, running was a lot easier this time!
      I noticed I didn't have a pencil anymore, but a playing card!
I kinda bent it, shoved it half under the ball, and sort of shot it, but like in a curving motion, going up and falling down again.
And it was a horrible shot, but I scored yet again!
I felt awesome, and from there I don't remember anything from the hockey part.

The next thing I remember is me being in my backyard, at the pond.
I remember thinking about the hockey match, and being like, how could that have possibly been real? Am I dreaming? I was really hoping I was, because I have been trying to lucid dream for a while. And it's not been working out so far.
I did a reality check, but it failed. I pressed the fingers of my right hand into the palm of my left hand, not really expecting it to work I guess.
And it failed. So I was very disapointed. From there my dream also ends.

    12. (Before today's lucid dream) A step in the right direction...

      , 04-15-2011 at 06:44 PM (Desperation Happiness)
After watching a Glee/Skins (UK) outdoor concert there was a mass of people gathered. At least one hundred people were dancing in formation amazingly. We asked a guy what was going on and he just swore at us then said it'd cost 5 bucks and laughed. I told him very matter-of-factly that was the worst joke I ever heard and asked if it was really necessary to swear at us. He got pissed! He surrounded me with 3 of his friends and at this time I'm lying down like in bed. I imagine fighting the 3 guys and do. Then I 'wake up' but it's not quite a false-awakening because I don't remember ever thinking I was asleep, just, the next thing I know I'm walking down the stairs of my house.

The front door is open and I check the screen door to see if it's locked by opening it, it wasn't locked. I wonder why it was open. Is someone inside the house? The TV is on, some weird anime is playing where the wise man/narrator keeps repeating "He sleeps and he sleeps and he sleeps" over and over, like some kind of gag-joke". I should've realized then, that was a BIG clue as to what was going on. Some of the lights were on throughout the house. The backdoor into the kitchen was open too and wind blows in through the screen. I am SO confused at this point, what's going on here? Why did I go to bed and leave the house like this? At this moment everything gets incredibly vivid and reality is kicked up a notch. That's when I start to wonder, 'maybe this is a dream!'. I try to move some tumbleweed stuff that blew in from the door with my mind. I got it to move one way, then the other so I'm pretty sure it wasn't just the wind. Just then my phone rings in waking life and I wake up.

Waking up felt like a teleportation of consciousness from the dream body to the one that was lying in my bed, newly awaken.

This dream is notable for being the first one where I was actually confused by things in the dream. Even though I didn't reality check for a long time, all of my lucid dreams so far have not involved RCs. Usually I just become lucid like a light switch has turned on. So I think this dream was a step in the right direction.
    13. First (Fully) Lucid dream!!!

, 03-19-2011 at 11:46 AM (My Nighttime Experiences)
I had a few dreams earlier which i recall but this is the lucid dream.

      Key: Non Lucid Lucid

I was sitting in a folding chair with 3 of my friends at the elementary school of our district. And i was listening to my iPod. I don't know what music it was or any music at all but my teacher walked in front of us and started mouthing things, i didn't hear him so when he started to walk away i pulled of my earphones and said," What?" he turned around at started mouthing something again. i pulled my earphones out again and i said, "What?" (should've become lucid taking my earphones out twice! lol) then he started to say something but he was talking really quiet and not how he really talked at all. so i reached up, did a nose pinch RC and was fully lucid!! i ran down the hall screaming," This is a dream!!" And the people just kept walking away. my arms were really heavy so i stretched them out a bit so i could run and jump easily. i walked down the hall and followed my best friend, but like 2 or three people were right on MY back following me. so i screamed, "STOP FOLLOWING ME!" and they turned around and walked away. i followed my freind for a few seconds then said," where r we going?" he didn't say anything, but you know what i heard? the scariest noise ever... it sounded like this:beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep! beep! beep!!

Then I woke up. i was sooo mad i set my alarm for 5:09 but i mustve became lucid at like 5:07 or 5:08! i slapped myself for that i was soo furious, that was my best lucid dream ever in my life!

    14. First LUCID :D

by , 03-18-2011 at 09:42 PM (The weird dreams of Appe96)
Note: I didn't control this dream.

Task of the year: Fly(x) Get lucid(X)

Dream: I was walking down the stairs of my house on my way out. My dad tells me to not be late for dinner( Or something i don't remember quiet well :/ ) My friend walks next to me. I can't see him but i know that he is there. He ask's me what time it is. I look at my watch, and see's that it spinns like h*ll.I realize's that this is a dream and does the "hand rc" just to make sure that this is a dream.

I walk outside and see's that the air are orange and it is summer and not winter. My friend dissapears and i get's a "3rd person" view of myself. I get's overexcited and my dream starts to fall down. I stabilizes the dream with a few RC's. ( I don't remember wich one's that i used.) I have forgotten what i did after that. I remember one thing, that is that i flew around my village and i wakes up.
    15. ..Is that a fairy at my window.. waving?

      by , 03-08-2011 at 06:30 AM
