Half-Life 2 and imbalanced transformation
Apparently, I am Gordon from Half-Life 2 in this scene. Dr. Kleiner is with me in a half-destroyed room. There are big holes in the wall and debris on the floor, as well as a bridge made of metal grating and a pulley mechanism attached to it, which can be drawn in/out from within this room to pass over to another building, like in Half-Life 2: Episode One. He tells me to do something with suit batteries, and I jokingly think that it's weird that the level designers did this, when in the original Half-Life 2 game, they used car batteries.

Scene change. I am in the same room of my home where the 3rd dream, 19.07.2021 ended, and am myself again. I am tending to my water snails which are in a jar between many plant pots. Then, I have a fake memory where my mother apparently blew into something which resembles a fallen-off flower blossom, which can apparently transform you into whatever you are currently thinking about when you blow into it, but apparently, she gave it to me but I threw it away for some reason. Now, I want it again, so I look for another one and find one I think resembles it. I know it could be poisonous, so I am a bit anxious, but I blow into it to see if it would work. Instead of doing what I hoped for, it blew up into poisonous plant sap.

Scene change. The previous scene transitions by me running backwards into another room of sorts which is hard to describe. It is dark and there is another metal grating bridge, and apparently, if you fall down, you fall into the bathroom of my home from the ceiling. I sit on a duplicate of the sink in my bathroom. Apparently, blowing into the blossom did do something, but it does not work because it's apparently unbalancing the forces, or something, so bad things will happen because of that.

Waking up from that was really weird. For a few minutes, I couldn't remember where and who I was and had great difficulty to notice that the dream didn't really happen.

Another Harry Potter-related dream
There's something related to dumbledore. He might have warned me of something. The dream is set in a sort of town-ish location. It's rather rural, with only a few small densely populated areas and lots of hills so big that they're borderline mountains. I recall this having been the location from another dream from a long time ago. I seem to go from hill to hill for no particular reason. There is something rather concerning and sinister going on in the background, and it invokes a feeling of dread within me. Somebody else warns me again, and I think it has to do with the fact that I am quite visible on top of those hills. At some point, there might be something that really does suggest I should have heeded that warning, but I don't remember. Sometimes the dream also seemed to be a video game, but that wasn't consistent.

I guess constantly watching Harry Potter nearly every day has infested my dreams. But I guess I should try to use that as a dream sign, since it's been in nearly every dream for the whole week now.

Dragon dream
I transform into a dragon at some point, it seems like an ability I have in the dream. I was getting mad at somebody. It was sort of in this like special bar like area, that seems to be becoming a recurring location. There are some of my friends there, I think.

Sadly I don't remember having any sensation of my form in the dream, which would've helped in shapeshifting in a lucid dream.

Also, I have been totally forgetting to use my mantra so that I'd get lucid; it works nearly every time, but my memory is horrible.

School has also been destroying my recall. I know I remembered more of the dream in the morning, but firstly, I don't want my parents to see what dreams I have, idk why but it's embarrassing, and on school days I can't get myself out of bed so I wouldn't even have time to write down the dream.

Me and my cats running from demons at school
Someone I don't remember has brought me to school, and I trust him but he's involved in some magic ordeal. He might have
brought me there since he thinks I'll be safe there for a while. I am supposed to do my homework, which I do. I also seem to
have brought my cats and am supposed to take care of one other cat which I don't know. They all just jump on the window
sill and watch the outside world as I continue to do work. But then there is something, I think it's an animal which is
possessed, suddenly starts banging on the window, slowly breaking it, but for a few seconds I don't really notice. But then I
do notice and quickly push the cats off the sill and tell them to follow me, which, surprisingly, works on all of them. I run into
the wrong direction, and then quickly turn around. I push the cats a little to hurry them and run out the door into some sort
of teacher hall. It's only about 3-5 meters long and there's a room at the end and on both sides, both right in the middle of
the two side walls. A woman comes up to me and looks at me with a confused expression. Suddenly the plot changes a bit, and I simply don't know where I have to be, but I am still running from a demon. She says that she doesn't know, in a sort of "You should know that yourself..." undertone.

I just noticed that I have a recall streak, which is pretty cool.
The school is also a recurring location. I'm excited to map it out once I get to have consistent lucids.

Tornado
I am outside with my father, on the way back to our home. We're already very close, just about 100 meters away from it. We see my mother for some reason doing something in an empty store, placing science equipment onto the counter in front of the window. My father says something which makes me suspicious that they might be gifting me the store as a workspace. While advancing closer to our home, I start debating in my mind if this could actually happen, which is quickly interrupted by my father telling me to look somewhere.

I look where he looks and we see a very, very dark cloud with lots of lightning. At first, we were both happy about this, but then, we suddenly see a very quick tornado zoom by, seemingly in random, chaotic patterns. We try to go back to my mother, but we apparently overshoot the target and end up in a shopping district about 600 meters from our home. I notice this and tell my father, so we turn around and again try to get to her. We go back a bit, then turn around again, before then again turning around. I asked my father which store she was in again, as I had forgotten because of my bad memory. My father said he doesn't know and we walk towards the house again. We then overshoot the target once again and end up in what was apparently a room in our flat. We're then suddenly at ground level in the house again, standing in front of the staircase to the higher floors and my father states something along the lines that we can't go outside again. I also knew it was too late to try to warn my mother.

A while later, my mother comes through the door, seemingly not having noticed the storm, nor the tornado. I come to my mother, suddenly standing a bit further outside, and tell her that there was a tornado here, before seeing it zoom by again, making me correct myself and making me point to it. She sarcastically states that that's absolutely amazing and we go inside.

Sudden (semi-)lucidity
I am standing in the bathroom, my mother ominously standing in the back of the room, behind the toilet. She seems to look up outside the skylight. She appears to say something which I don't remember but was just as creepy as the way that she was standing there. Suddenly, I become (semi-?)lucid and run over to my room right next to the bathroom. I pushed my chair to my computer table, before trying to change random things on my face to see if I could do it. It didn't work, and I tried remembering lucid dreaming articles about dream control. I then recalled you could, for example, drink something and imagine it was a potion that would change something. I felt a bit afraid of that because I wasn't entirely sure if this really was a dream. On my computer, a DreamViews page was opened, but before I could check it out, I woke up.

Short false awakening
I "woke up", looking outside the window to the clouds. Something felt unusual, but I don't know what.

Staircase
I am on the staircase to my home. There're some changes, and it resembles an older dream from the design. I walk up the narrow staircase, having to go through strange doors leading to homes, as well as things like hospitals. The first room I had gone through was empty and had no people in it, the second had a doctor talking through a procedure with the son of a woman who seemed to be a neighbor in the previous version of the dream. I listened to the conversation a bit, before trying to exit the room to continue up the stairs. I woke up before I could continue walking.

I'm not sure if the presumably lucid dream was actually that or just something else that I could mix up in retrospect. I seemed to be consciously in the dream, but I somehow didn't even think too much about anything else than what I had programmed into myself as what I first want to try to get a feel for lucid dreams, I didn't really think. Is that what a semi-lucid dream is?

I was at my old middle school but I have a recurring dream of the old office. And this now abandoned closed school.the office was a convenience store in my dream and I know one of the December challenges was to ask for a gift so I asked this DC for something and he handed me a candy bar. It wasn't technically a gift though. Because I didn't say gift. I didn't see his face. Before I fell asleep, I repeated to ask for a gift. I wasn't a super active conscious participant.

Next thing I know I'm on an elliptical...talk about health conscious insecurities. Candy bars and then the elliptical machine . I'm on this thing for a bit and don't know how I got there. It's next to the old abandoned gym. That school closed years ago.

A camper was parked outside (wha?) and I saw some really obese lady from work that I don't particularly care for carrying a huge armful of stuff. i didn't pay any mind. so I was hiding behind this camper truck to avoid her. She's not an authority, I just don't like some of the things she's done. I then changed dreams and don't remember what happened next.

I'm documenting this dream because the middle school office is recurring. There are certain places I keep dreaming about there and don't know why. The community is beautiful but the school was worn and run down and had been around since the 40s.

This is a recurring dream that I haven't had in some time.

I was being chased through a graveyard by hooded mages and some vicious dogs. It was late evening. The dogs looked like the hell hounds from Nazi Zombies or the Dawngaurd DLC for Skyrim. All black, big, bulky, insanely fast and glowing red eyes. Usually I get cornered by my perusers at a tall black, metal gate, but this time I manadged to hop over it. I ran towards a Mausoleum with a tower on top and took refuge inside. It was dark and I could still hear the barking of the dogs and someone shouting for someone to get the gate open. I climbed a ladder that led to the top of the tower. As I ascended I realised that it was now earlier in the day (Sunset) and the hooded mages and demon dogs were gone. From the top of the tower I could see a family paying respects at one of the grave stones. I climbed down the outside of the tower, excited to tell them about this strange and magical crypt that I'd discovered. I opened the tall black gate and tried to greet them but the further away from the tower I was the darker it became. The hooded mages and the beasts reappeared and were now chasing me again except they were able to continue as I'd opened the gate. The Demon dogs cornered me so I was unable to make it back into the crypt. They didn't attack however they just circled me for a while as I had my back to the fencing Then the stillness that falls on my dreams when I can either remember no more or begin to wake up came.

Quick notes on these recurring locations.
There are basically two overall settings in this dream. Both are massively large and "arcing" settings outside either end of my childhood hometown which is a small country town in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Yosemite National Park. The two settings are connected in some way(not just physical transition). The two can mostly be distinguished by the types of "out of place" locations that get mixed in, DC that I see, and % of time I spend looking down compared to being near to the ground.
The lower end is further away and mostly West South-West. The upper is closer and located between South-East and North-East. I almost never wonder outside of these areas while in these settings.

OK Dream Bit One
Outside east end of town a new plaza is constructed, could be open but I don't see any many cars and there is a line of confusing road signs all cluttered and blocking. I think I was headed to the plaza for some reason but I'm not sure why. (note: this may be representative of my waiting to hear back after a job interview.)

Dream Bit Two
Some points during dream I get areal views that transition me from specific to specific location(but I'm not flying). Outside the west end of town a long dirt road comes down a mountain side curving slowly and steep around through the sparse trees... I transition and wind up at a Large familiar river that is not near my hometown yet somehow resembles a ditch that is. (This mixture of ditch and river is pretty common but always takes a slightly different form.) Today the river was pretty full from a couple tributaries that added to it and was pouring down from a small water fall that I was looking over towards. Good feeling here today.
