4/11/14* Not a high-level LD but my previous one launched me too high that it took me a while to find my way back and break my dry streak. I thought dry streaks of more than several days were in the rear view mirror. This was my longest in 9 months! I got over confident and complacent among other things. I started to get my recall back up to respectable levels over the last few days and noticed my awareness was up before my LD early this morning. I also had a 2am and 1:30am bedtime last Friday and Saturday night that didn't help. During the dry spell I had a "false" lucid about a week ago where I was in a room with a group of other people and I was trying to do telekinesis and saying to the others "see it is not working" before floating up in the air and saying oh wow, at least that is working...but not a lick of self awareness...it was as if I treated the whole affair as real life in which I can do these things...dreaming of lucid dreaming powers with no true realization that I was dreaming and that I can make the TK work if I really want to.

In dream WILD (DILD) or DEILD: I am laying on the couch and the TV is on, my wife and nephew are nearby also. I can see that my eldest nephew is coming around to get the remote and change my "boring show" and I retrieve it. I vibration is felt in the room like when our surround sound system hits a low note and my nephew looks scared. I get the impression that he is scared because he experiences vibrations at night and I tell him that vibrations are nothing to be scared of, that they are just a sign of entering or exiting sleep and if you maintain that thought through them you can have a lucid dream! I start to feel the very type of vibrations that I am talking about and realize that I am dreaming and basically am exiting one dream and have the chance to enter another and I take my own advice to heart. (I had repeated a mantra several times at WBTB that I would recognize vibrations since that had worked off and on in the past.) Various images like HI's come into view and I treat them as HI's but in hindsight they may have been all part of the same dream...either way I was resolved to remain patient having recently read someone describe two types of vibrations, mild and heavy, with the former only being signs of heading into sleep but not necessarily directly into the dream...these vibrations were kind of in between but on the stronger end of the spectrum. A lot of the images were nice scenery and the last one was like a peep hole that grew and grew until I was inside an apartment with a man and a topless blond woman (maybe influenced by Scarlett incubation, looked a little like her). They both look at me like, haha, he showed up at an opportune time, catching you topless and all. She stands there with her hand on her him in a sassy pose knowing that I am liking what I am seeing. I decide to ignore the guy and pretend like he isn't there and I know that usually makes a DC disappear and make my way over to her but unfortunately I seemed to be at the end of REM and probably could have easily exited REM at the time of the vibrations if I hadn't been paying attention to them.

I had a couple of normal dreams with no awareness and a couple with some awareness including an interesting one that was along an underground river/sewer system (no smell, just creepy in spots) and one of 3 people were being fired or sent home early. I had to inspect the system on my own (not my job IWL!) and at first I start off in a canoe but later I am in the water and thinking about how they said it is 7 feet deep in spots. As I travel along I think to myself "I hope I don't run into any bodies in the water" and shortly after see an odd looking skull, must be an animal skull but it looks alien. The water gets shallow in spots and I am horizontal floating on my stomach and can feel a soft-sandy-like surface just below the water before waking up.

I remember being in some kind of camp, somewhat like a summer camp type thing. There are several small cabins with large bay windows, and all the comforts inside (large TVs, Refridgerators, munchies, etc). Two of my close friends are there, G and P, as well as my girlfriend, S, I'll call them for the purposes of anonymity. We decide we're going to go hiking, though for some reason I get the impression that we're doing it against the rules. After quite a while of hiking, G starts suggesting that we head back rather than get in trouble when they realize we're gone. We ignore him for the most part, and continue hiking

After a while, we come across some kind of racetrack. I can't remember for the life of me what races on the track, but I believe it's a kind of animal, or maybe robots. There is a lead car which is a medium sized remote control car with big, grippy, offroad tires for driving in the mud. It's supposed to run around the track, making the racers chase it. Like the rabbit at greyhound tracks The car veers off of the track when we get close, and drives off into the woods. There are semi well traveled paths throughout the woods, and we stick to those throughout our adventure. We continue to follow the car for quite some time, and it eventually emerges from the woods on the outskirts of the park/property. We realize that we are way far from where we are supposed to be, so we pick up the car and head back towards camp.

We approach the camp on a ridge overlooking the entire site. Everyone has chosen their cabins and campsites already, and we are disappointed and annoyed that we are stuck with whatever is leftover. The car is gone now for some reason There are miniature 'stargates' at each campsite and cabin, and we've got a 4' 'stargate' with us now. To get down to the campsite from where we are, we must get down a 2 level cliff type thing. There is the level we are on, then about a 6 foot drop, sloped slightly, then a ledge of about 4 feet wide, then another 10 foot drop after that. I suggest that we use our small 'stargate' as a sled and slide down the hill. G points out the huge "Keep Off" sign on the top of the hill, directly blocking where we would need to slide down. I try to convince him that it is a dream, and it doesn't matter. Major missed dreamsign lol I point out the stargates around the camp and ask him if that makes any sense. He replies 'no' but he still doesn't want to risk it. I say whatever, and slide down the the first part on my butt, using the sign to propel me faster like on a slide at a playground. I land with a hard thump. The mud is harder than it looks. It hurt my butt, but I told everyone that I was okay, and to come on down. Then, not looking forward to the higher fall, I slid down that as well. I landed on my feet this time, looked back, and we were all at the bottom.

We started looking around the camp, presumably trying to find an empty campsite or cabin. P is hanging with some friends of his in a cabin with humongous bay windows, we can see they're having a good time and don't want to interrupt. Unable to find anything, we head back to the visitors center, and crash on the couch in the lobby. All three of us laying on the couch together. Not fun. An old friend of mine's mom came in and offered us blankets, we told her no thanks, and she left. It WAS really hot and humid. I start playing around with my gf, S, and I roll back and forth, annoying G. I end up falling off the couch, and we all had a good laugh about it.

Not a particularly exciting dream, but it was pretty long, detailed, and with all the fragments I've been having lately, it's nice to have a bit of a plot.

My dream started where it left off with the Scooby gang except now Daphne, Fred and Shaggy +me are on the same side of the door as Velma &Scooby in the basement/cellar of the grocery store. I joked to Daphne about the danger-prone business. I said: "Daphne with all these danger-prone incidents in these dreams of mine, I could easily qualify for a honurary member of the Blake family." Daphne (and the others, and I ) just laughed then Daphne said "We will do that after the 'Mystery, Inc' gang finds the monster for today." I than asked them what monster they were after this time. They had forgotten. Than I started to talk about what I knew about Scooby-Doo shows (mostly about how Daphne's role had some development over the years). Somehow when I was talking I got up and sat on a pinic table. I noticed when I was half-done talking when I notice the Scooby gang were in their "frightened" poses.

The "dream camera" than switched perspectives so I could see what the gang was seeing (except through nobody's eyes) and there was Frankstien's monster coming out of nowhere behind the pinic table which I am on.

So I took a remote out of my back pocket (I have no idea how the remote got there) and pressed "pause" on it so I could finish talking.

I just finished talking and was just about to press "play' when two things happen:

1) a voice over saying "What will happen next time in Anne's Dream?"
2) Next Time Contuined............. on the "dream screen".
