    1. More Needles, Bad Smelling Alleys

      by , 10-31-2015 at 03:12 AM
Dreamed I was being sedated so people could "train" at doing it... There were people reclining in a long row with their heads wrapped in white gauze, and theur clothes were all completely white. The whole thing was very brightly lit and felt very sterile. Watched a woman - a pretty brunette with an oval face - be partially sedated and then her head was wrapped in gauze and syringes were inserted into her face really close to her eyes in a way that made me cringe. I didn't know how much of it you would feel. Then I was next... But it was some kind of ruse and they were actually planning on killing me or something. But they couldn't completely sedate me, which was a huge problem with their plan.

      That's all I remember.

Then, I just remembered a fragment of a dream i had months ago. I was walking through a city with two male acquaintances, both pretty tall. Both of them worked for Amazon as tech people. We kept walking by alleys that smelled horrible, like full dumpsters and raw sewage. At one point I lost them and had to cut through one of those horrible alleys to catch up. It was between 2 tall brown brick buildings and paved with uneven bricks, and just generally gross. I think it was kind of raining, too.

I was panicking about losing them was because they were my roommates, I had just rented the room, and I didn't know the address of the house, even though I knew it was nearby (at the end of a cul-de-sac). I had the key, but no clue where it was, and I was freaking out about never being able to find it - at least, for tonight - and having nowhere to sleep. I didn't have their phone numbers, either, so I had no way to contact them.

I came out at a place that was a border between thick downtown development and a suburb. At that point, the sky was clear and it was nice and sunny. I went up and down the street until I finally found the two of them.

I recall calling my mother because I was upset and freaking out. She sounded sympathetic but exasperated by how irresponsible I was.

The house was messy... White siding, poorly painted white door that was a little warped - the yard was passable, with green grass but not well maintained. Lots of natural lighting in the living room.

Anyway, the guys told me how to get there. After getting slightly lost, I found my way there.
    2. Dark city

      by , 07-16-2015 at 07:41 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
It was dark, cold winter night. Street lamps gave only dim and weak light. I left a tall building where people were gathered, there was probably a party. I moved through the darkness, walking down some kind of stairs and leaving roadsign that I couldn't read for some reason.

I finally reached road that is better lit, and stood near a building with walls covered with brown plates. There was a plaque with 9-13 carved on it. I thought if this is the right place, or should I got somewhere else. I decided to cross the road. I heard a couple walking through park, laughing. I thought "Wait, I should go back to the plaque."

I went back, and looked at it again. Still 9-13. I looked for the door, and found it in darkness, and moved up the dark stairwell. I finally found my room, and entered it. This was the only well lit place. I saw that I live with three another dudes, two of them I can't quite recall. The third one had short dark hair, gray sweatshirt and jeans trousers.

I sat down on a sofa, and then someone entered the room. It was a man in his late forties. He asked us if we have a TV, which we replied that don't. He said that if we want to watch TV, we should go to local meeting hall.

    3. Brandy Moves In and I Move Out

      by , 07-02-2014 at 04:39 AM
06-28-2014 -- First bit I can remember (quite incompletely) starts with me kind of wandering around in the Buena Park Mall parking lot. I am in the section of the parking lot between Penney's and Sears. I am here to meet some Disney regulars, including some from Disneyland, and some from the Adventurers Club. The only ones I can actually recognize are Bob and Virgina, but there are a bunch. Among them is a rather cute woman who I find myself developing a bit of an interest in. She indicates that they are all about to go out to dinner at one of the Disney restaurants, and I hope that I can afford to join them, and am mentally reviewing my funds, but when I look up, I find they have all started moving, and I am falling behind. I run to try and catch up, and even fly into the air slightly, but I am having a hard time catching up. I chase them around the back of Sears, and over to the La Palma side of the parking lot, before I eventually give up, and just decide to start heading for home, a bit disappointed.

So I start to walk toward home, and soon am in the part of the parking lot between May Company and the May Company Auto Center, right on Dale. I seem to be sort of rearranging a couple of cars, and trying to figure out how to get mine out and drive it home. Unfortunately, Draco Malfoy is standing there insulting me and making fun of me. Even worse, he is doing this while leaning on my shoulder and hovering over me in an overly friendly manner that is just very, very weird.

I get home to a house which is a really strange cross between the Hickory house, the house on Pageant, and the Amidon house, a place I just moved back into a day or so ago. I find that another new roommate moved in this afternoon. It is a strange cross between Cheryl and Brandy, and as soon as I show up she starts bothering me for a favor. She wants me to take the day off work (or more), find a way to get the gas I need, and drive her to somewhere like Miami or Jacksonville, and I can't believe her gall. But it gets worse. She wasn't asking me to drive her to Jacksonville, Florida, but something like Jacksonville MO, or some place several states away like that. I tell her "No ... just ... no!"

I need to go to the bathroom, but I find that the toilets in all three bathrooms are stopped up with crap, stinky and overflowing. Disgusting. And all three of them were fine, yesterday. I figure I will go to get something to eat, but when I reach the kitchen, I find that all my food is missing from the freezer. Some of it is on the stove, but it has mostly already been eaten. Meanwhile, Brandy is crying and complaining because in one of the bathroom mishaps, she ruined the binding on one of her books. I control my temper and offer her a book I have that includes information on how to fix damaged bindings, but she doesn't want to spend any energy repairing it, she just wants to complain about it.

At this point I just want to go to the bathroom and take a shower, but now that Brandy is living here, I don't know if I even feel safe using the bathroom ... I'm afraid I might catch an STD. Meanwhile, as I am making my way into the bathroom and undressing for my shower, somebody manages to force their way into the bathroom. It is a woman who almost looks like a bag lady and her young, spoiled son. I discover the reason Brandy was trying so hard to get me to drive her somewhere was so that I would not discover that she had invited a couple more people to share her room with her. It is the lady and her son that have ruined all the bathrooms and eaten all my food.

I am trying to explain to her that she can't just invite extra people into the place to live with her, while trying not to give too much offense to the lady and her kid, but to be honest, sparing their feelings is not among my top priorities at this time. Brandy's response is that she ask the owner when he gets home. I try to explain that the owner doesn't live here, but it turns out the landlord (who is cross between the guy from the Pageant house and Larry) is not the owner, and the actual owner does live here. I tell Brandy I will probably move out, because this all just isn't ok. Just about that time, the owner and the landlord show up, and while Brandy is badgering the owner about her friend and the kid, the landlord pulls me off to the side to lecture me about paying my rent on time, and warning me that the rent has gone up $10 a week since I last lived here. I wave it off. $85 instead of $75 a week is no big deal ... but what is a big deal is Brandy living here, so I start to explain that I will be moving out again.
    4. Who Wants to Marry a Gay Millionaire?

      by , 06-11-2014 at 07:49 PM
04-26-2014 -- Odd one, with several parts. It starts with me seeming to remember a dream I once had, that involved walking through the snow in Southern California, and I seem to be telling my sister about it. It was a fairly interesting dream, but not supremely so, and "I recall that it started right ... here." Here being the parking lot of the place my sister is currently working, and I explain how I was here to pick up a package (in the dream) to courier it somewhere, and I spotted all the snow, and started off to walk through it for a bit. [Might have tied into the dream where I ran into the 10th and 11th Doctors in a bar, dressing up like pirates, here.]

As I continue to tell my sister about the dream, I follow her into her work place (which somewhat resembles the 3M Dental warehouse). There's tight security, but she has no problem getting me in. We are wandering through the office area, me still telling her about the dream. We soon find ourselves standing in front of a strange cross between a vending machine and a weird sort of robotic Santa Claus giving out candy, and for some reason we are trying to empty the thing out, taking all the candy. Most of it we are just putting into a basket that everybody can take it from, but as we get close to finishing it off, I do keep a few bits for myself, including a couple of small bags of M&Ms, and what I think was a white chocolate version of a Willy Wonka Scrunch bar, a thing that has never actually existed. For some reason I am putting them in my pockets, even though I know they will melt there.

Melody has wandered off to talk to some of her co-workers, and as I was almost finished with my dream, this annoys me. I wait a little bit, but just when I am about to be able to tell her the ending, she wanders off to talk to more people, and I decide I have had enough, and I am just going to leave. I head to the exit, wondering if security is going to give me issues for leaving without her being with me, but they just wave me through. Soon I find myself out in the parking lot, looking for my white car. Problem is, it isn't where I left it, and I am walking back and forth through the parking lot looking for it, until I begin to worry that it might have been stolen. Also there seem to be some toughs approaching me, and I am thinking things are about to get painful.

Then suddenly the scene changes, and I am in a house where I seem to be sharing a room with either Ron D. or perhaps Chris (Kevin) W. For some reason we are literally sharing the same bedroom, and I find myself preparing to take my old wicker laundry basket out to do a load, but I have to make sure I gather up all my clothes, and none of his. Very strange, especially since the scene just changes again, for no reason.

I am now sitting in a bar, along the right side of the bar. There are tons of people around, and we seem to be filming an odd sort of cross between a game show and a reality show. There is a very cute English blonde (I think it is the blonde I saw in the latest Star Trek film last night, Alice Eve) who has to decide which of two gay men (both already in a relationship with another guy) she is going to marry. We're all in this bar where she and her friends interact with these two guys to decide which one she will choose. First it seems like the show is being hosted by George Takei, but it may eventually switch to being hosted by Drew Carey.

I don't really approve of the whole thing, so I am pretty much just sitting quietly, staying out of the way, but Alice is wearing a really mini mini skirt which is riding up further and further to show her stocking tops, and then eventually even her bush, while a large group of somewhat large and unattractive black ladies are standing around berating her and calling her a slut. I am just enjoying the show. Eventually the gay couple who were sitting at my part of the bar have wandered off, and there is nobody on that side any more, so I decide to move to the left side of the bar and take a seat, but as I do so, everybody is telling me I can't, and to go away, so I move back to the right side of the bar, just to find there are a couple about to take my seat there. I explain it is my seat and I need it, and have to tell them about the filming before they will go away. But eventually they do, and I have my seat back, and find myself talking to the boy friend of one of the gay men who Alice has to choose from, and we are both agreeing this is very stupid.
    5. A Blast from the Past

      by , 06-30-2012 at 01:51 AM
I can remember being back at my old classroom in Math class. I was seating as the teacher was organizing the stuff and everyone else was preparing to get ready to graduate from the school. I am seating there watching my teacher packing up some books while she talks to another teacher. Being here again made me feel so happy. I thought of Abby during this part. I think it was because I just got braces the day before. The teacher then dismissed us and now we were able to leave the class and leave the school. As soon as I left the classroom, I noticed how bright the sun was again and I saw so many people walking out of their classrooms. It was a ghetto city, so I was cautious of what or who was able to attack me. I followed the long crowd through the hallway right next to the classroom I just left. I followed until I saw an empty open space and walked in to it. I decided to help a few teachers help pack their things. But as soon as I entered one classroom, they were already receiving help. So, I decided to go home now. On my way home, I seemed to have super natural powers. I had the power to move as fast as I could. I was moving so fast I felt like Wesker from Resident Evil 5. As soon as I finally reached the school parking lot, I moved extra fast. Most people didn't even pay attention to how fast I was though. After a couple of minutes of running, the scenario changed and now, I was a different character of this dream. I was now a girl living up to her dreams of being successful in her life. I watched as her life slowly started to change from a bad one to a really good one. At the end of her success, I was in a jungle just watching as she took a high jump off a high ledge and landed on another one below her.
    6. Apparently my subconscious likes him too...

      by , 04-30-2011 at 08:27 AM
Finally a positive DJ entry from me.

So recently I've been getting into online dating. Just a few meet-ups more than dates w/ guys, not much to say successfully in that department BUT a few weeks ago I decided to join one of the large ones with all those compatibility questions so it seems like I'm getting more SERIOUS. My first match on that service messaged me and it's not been a few weeks of constant texting. I'm meeting him tomorrow, and the dream I had last night relates to that.

In my dream, it starts out with me in my roommates at my apartment at night. I get a call from this match saying he's outside. I know that in the real world I'm supposed to meet him at the restaurant, which confuses me why he's here and knows where I live but I blissfully head outside to meet him anyways. He's in the parking lot walking towards my building and smiles when he sees me. Suddenly there's all these friends of mine surrounding us. I suddenly hear a plan in my head that all of these friends of mine and this match are all going out to a mall together.

We get to the mall and it's mostly empty. Apparently we're there pretty late but nobody's closing the stores. Most of the mall store-wise is empty too, there's empty stores, and big blocked off stores that say things like "coming soon" and such, but there is a pawn shop store so we all go in there and take a look around. Inside the pawn shop, there's a few people in my life I recognize, including a past crush. My heart sank seeing him, but in a sinking way of "oh geez he's seeing me with another guy, idk how I feel about that." I tell my match about him and tell him to move away and ignore him, and he was successfully ignored. We get up to the register and check out some trinkets that I can't remember now what they were. I'm now realizing my body language with this guy: super duper close. I have one arm around his back and the other against his chest in a "you just saved me, my hero!" kind of pose, and it feels AWESOME. I look around and people notice the attraction between us. The guy behind the counter even winks at us.

We all then head for a food court, where there's a lot more people and a ton of long rectangular chairs. The match guy and me head for a buffet and grab out food, realizing all of my friends have gone elsewhere to get food. There's an open almost empty section of tables we sit in waiting for the rest of my friends to join us but they never show up. Match guy and I are on our own.

After this it's more like a montage of us roaming around a mostly empty mall, all smiley and happy and the whole timing in general just slows down. Like I'm completely happy and whole and just enjoying his company. So yeah, before this dream I knew this guy is super awesome, but now that I've had a dream with him and how I feel, I guess I can say that my subconscious likes him too.

And if I have any more dreams about this guy I'll post em, but I don't want this to be a gossip journal all about this one guy and updates on him and me and all that jazz. I'm just focusing on the dreams if I have any more.

    7. Nightmare: Extremely Realistic Alternate Life

      by , 03-04-2011 at 11:45 PM
The following dream I had on 5-hours sleep. This would have been my 3rd REM cycle which means this dream may have been over 45-minutes long. It was extremely, extremely, realistic. To the point that when I woke up I felt I had not been home in days or weeks. The visual quality, in complete honesty, was more vivid than real life. I say this because in real life our eyelashes block our view and veins in our eyes can make some lighting conditions slightly blurry. I have 10/20 vision so this was not a product of wearing or needing glasses or contacts.

I woke up. My long time friend Lynn was massaging my right hand as I did. She didn't look completely sober and she seemed very bleary and passionate about giving me this hand massage. I felt uneasy, because I have a jealous girlfriend and I was wondering how I let myself alone with Lynn in a room.

Sitting in the room on a chair a few feet from my bed was an earthy/hippy looking guy in his mid 20's with rusty blond hair and beard. Lynn was saying something to me about working my energies or something. She eventually got off my bed and headed out the door. The guy sitting there laughingly told me about how Lynn had pulled a similar stunt and acted really weird to someone else recently in attempt to practice her Chinese medicine.

I did not recognize the room I was in. It was beige, metallic, somewhat cramped and had no windows. I felt confused as to where I was or how I got there. The guy started making small talk (which I don't recall and) I wasn't paying much attention, as I had a sinking feeling I was some how terribly lost.

The guy suggested I go into the living room with him, so I got out of bed and followed him. The living room looked shabby and unimpressive. We sat down on a brownish colored sofa and continued to talk as I desperately tried to orient myself. Soon afterward, one by one, all my "roommates" came home. There must have been at least ten other people I appeared to be living with. I didn't know who any of them were, but they all seemed very familiar with me.

They all sat around talking to each other about various things. (This part of the dream could have easily lasted 10-minutes by itself.) I sort of made excuses for myself for not knowing what the hell was going on. I just woke up. I didn't feel too hot. But eventually admitted, "I have no idea who any of you are!" They laughed it off, and implied I had done too many drugs or something the night before. I started to become terrified of the possibility I had a massive case of amnesia. I hid it, but inside the fear was swelling up strongly.

Then, Sabrina, a girl I haven't seen in many, many years walked in with a big smile. She looked thinner and healthy and I stood up to greet her. I somewhat shouted for joy. "Sabrina! Now you I know!" Everyone laughed. At this point I said "Now I don't know if I'm dreaming or not." I was so relieved to see another person I knew, the fear level dropped and I could pretend to fit in a little. (This part of the dream could have lasted another 10-minutes.)

Eventually my girlfriend walked in and it looked like she had just got off work. She looked sweet and very calm like she had a good day. When I saw her I felt desperate to take her aside and confide in her how lost and uncertain I felt. She told me "Lets go up to our apartment." I felt relieved, because I thought we all lived in that small unit together and I couldn't understand why I would ever choose to live that way.

We walked into the halls which were also metallic and had dark worn-out atmosphere difficult to put into words. The place looked futuristic but extremely old like something from the movie Bladerunner. I followed my girlfriend up flights of stairs like a lost puppy. She remained calm and not alarmed. On the way up the stairs I asked her "Can we go back to my home? I just want to know that it's still real." She laughed it off and we walked to our apartment door.

At this point I turned around and saw a crazed looking man was following closely behind me. I opened our door, which sealed like the door of a submarine and had a bright red glowing light above the thick black metallic peep hole. I seemed to know how to open it perfectly well and I shoved her in the door, followed, then double locked ourselves in. Checking the locks from inside, they seemed loose.

Our door entered close to the kitchen. The place looked even darker, more cramped, and less inviting than the first apartment. I was starting to become very, very, uncomfortable again. Our apartment was divided into three floors. The basement level I never went to, but it was nearly pitch black save for a few red LED's on the walls. I followed her upstairs to our bedroom area. There laying on a chair was a very pale girl with shorts on sitting on a chair half dazed.

I was alarmed, but my GF explained that was only our roommate. I told her I couldn't take this place any more and asked if we could go for a walk outside. She agreed, and we left through a side door and went outside where there was only an empty parking lot, and gray looking forest. We walked into the forest and I started to feel dizzy. (The dream started to destabilize.) Horror struck again...

I put my arm around her for balance and asked "Am I mentally retarded now? Did I have some sort of accident?" She only just slightly smiled and looked at me. --Then I woke up.

I want to emphasize, when I woke up I felt I hadn't seen my bedroom in at least 2-3 days. I felt like a stranger to my own life, and I noticed that my real room was not as visually intense as my dream room.

This dream falls into a common category of my dreams: Bizarre Apartment

    9. If only I had these problems

by , 12-11-2010 at 03:07 PM (Way of the Lizard)
Last night's dreams were all about wish fulfillment: found a job, had a car (in which my MIA glasses turned up), it wasn't snowing, and some random chick offered me blow on the street (not that I'd take her up on it, but it was nice of her to ask). The last thing that happened was I was walking home from work--imagine, working walking distance away!--and this young woman I vaguely remember from a cafe/bar where I used to hang out was on her way to buy some blow and offered me a bump, which I declined. As I cut across a bar parking lot, my cousin forcibly ejected two douchey-looking fellows and suggested I take their shit, which I also declined. I arrived home to find that my two roommates (fictional) had thrown a party without telling me, which was annoying because I had a double the next day at work, but I saw a rather random friend of mine there, and started talking to him.

All in all, a lot of odd supporting characters these days: people I never spent much time with and don't think about to my knowledge, just popping up.
    10. Three dreams - February 25th, 2008

by , 02-25-2008 at 06:00 AM (Visions in the Dark)
      1) This dream took place in the front yard of my parent's house. The entire yard was covered by a thinck layer of snow and slithering through the snow was a giant python that could hear me running around on the surface. The giant snake kept lashing out at where it could hear me moving around and trying to pull me under. There was some relation of the giant snake to one of my brothers but I cannot remember what now.

      2) Second dream took place in a wintery scene as well, but not one that I recognize. I was following a soldier armed with an AK47. He was escorting me through the area because I was looking for something and was determined not to leave until I found it. I cannot remember why I nneded an army escort. We came across a lake and along the shore I found my cat Zrinyi half frozen to death on the water's edge. I picked her up and put her inside my jacket to keep her warm and told the army dude that I was ready to go now. We started walking away back the way we came. I cannot remember any more of this dream.

      3) Third dream starts of in a small grocery store or something. I am wandering around, not really interested in buying anything. I walk towards the check out and notice an opening to a much larger grocery store to the left. I go in it and everything is labelled "Food Basics." I eventually wander out of the big grocery and outside, where a long wooded boardwalk follows a beach/ocean shoreline to a bunch of buildings in the distance. The sun is beginning to set and it is starting to grow cold. I start towards the buildings and I pass a group of young pre-teen boys on the boardwalk, who start throwing rocks, debris and insults at me. I try to ignore them and keep walking. There are other people on the boardwalk but I cannot see any details and everyone is cast in shadow.

The bunch of buildings are three storeys and are college campus apartments. It is never revealed in the dream for what I am attending college though I think that it is summer holidays or something. I share one with four people and we are constantly fighting over space. I do not remember any details of my roommates but there was two young men and two young women. All three of us young women shared the second floor while one of the boys lived in the spacious third floor and the other slept on the couch on the first floor. All the the amenities of our apartment was on the first floor. I cannot remember why exactly but the young man living in the third floor offered to switch rooms so I could have his room. I accepted but this made the other women extremely jealous and they completely turned against me and did everything they could to turn the guys against me.

At some point I leave the apartment to go to the grocery store and as I am walking I come across the group of boys who threw things at me earlier. They threaten to throw large rocks and what looks like hunks of concrete at me but instead I challenge them to see who can throw the farthest and they agree. I suddenly have a vision of one of the boys (in a hat) accidently throwing a hunk of concrete and severely hurting one of his friends (in a blue shirt) by hitting him in the face. Just as the hat boy is about to throw his projectile I grab his blue shirt friend by the collar and pull him out of the way. Sure enough hat boy lets go of the hunk of concrete too early and it lands where blue shirt boy was just standing. There is a bit more to this dream but I cannot remember any of it.
