Fragment:

Some garden, part of a big house. Remember being there with someone else but not sure who now; also there were some dream characters that were like old schoolmates? I remember the house vaguely, a bit like a manor and fancy glass? Gardens with low hedges.

Then I remember walking down a street, typical appearance of my native country, cobbled paths, a road in along the middle, walls painted a white colour. It was daytime, overcast? At a church entrance with my sibling T and at some point we're both waiting for dad, but eventually we go in I think. Dad had gone to a car garage?

The church was at the end of the street from before. The church was built out of big limestone blocks.

Fragment:

End of dream, dark area, maybe night time. Sort of urban? There were buildings and maybe scaffolding, wooden planking. There was this wide open hall area but it was still dark or poorly lit and it lead into a more central chamber. Maybe there was a hole in the middle of that chamber? There was a very blue light coming from below and a boss of some kind. Felt like a mix of KF and WoW and the area seemed inspired by the Sceptre of God in PoE.

Notes:

- The church from the first fragment bears some resemblance to the church we used to go to as a family when I was younger.
- I'm thinking now that it's interesting that dreams don't often feature dad, but in this case the dream featured an absence of dad. In my childhood I often felt dad was a bit absent. Besides mom, T was probably who I spent most time with from the direct family.
- The blue light has made me curious. Blue lights often have a sort of recurring/stereotypical appearance in dark areas for me if I look back through dreams. There's usually an accompanying sense of mystery.

We're at a multi-level restaurant, where you have to take a lift to get to your table. Each table has its own little balcony area, but there aren't any railings to keep guests and servers hemmed in. You just have to balance!

I'm having trouble with the lift. Our table is on one of the middle levels, but the lift wants to go to the very top or the very bottom. Eventually, I wait until the lift gets close to our level, and then jump—

My hands grasp at a chair that's bolted down on the level above (or below?) ours, and my feet kick out at the air until they find purchase on the scaffolding. I'm upside-down, and I climb steadily back to our table. I'm glad that my husband is sitting down at the table already, because he can keep the whole thing weighted down as I throw it off balance.

Vesterguard's Dream

01-10-11 Intentions were clear, rest out after the semester start up party.

“Its a race on the scaffolding”

I am at some sort of merry event. It has the feel of a carnival/sporting event/ construction celebration. At the centre of the stage is this pyramid shaped building that reminds me of seats you find and college/highschool sports stadiums.

I go running, first over the steps of this pyramid and then out on a stretch of hilly land. The weather is nice, sunny and warm. When I come back I start over again, this time with an old school friend of mine.

We are primarily running up and down the steps of the pyramid and he always seem to be a step in front of me until at one point I loose him completely. He keeps talking about how it is really important to keep up a good pace and a good pulse.

I loose him at a point towards the back of the pyramid (back defined as the shadow side, away from where the speaker and main action is going on). Here there is scaffolding surrounding the building and the running here involves finding ways to navigate this. So I use my arms a lot to swing from place to place and also run a couple of metres on a metal pole.

I'm a blood angels chaplain leading my squad on a purging of a chaos controlled city (which is odd because I play Tau XD ) Then, a huge daemon appeared in front of us. I and my squad resented the emperor and so we readily joined his side. I remember looking over my army and telling them as the sun rose behind me.

*Scene Change*

I'm now in the city with the daemon. He gives me a tour of the city before showing me the temple that's being constructed. It resembles a huge pyramid made of steel and glass, and it stands about 20 stories high. Me and the daemon are on a gantry above the pyramid and inside I can see thousands of slaves riding minecarts, building as they go. The daemon laughs at them, but I tell him I object to the use of innocent civilians as slaves.

*Scene Change*

I'm in a large town hall, with about three hundred seats in the third closest to the door. Three pillars are set in front of them, leaving two entrances either side to get into the hall beyond. I go through. On the other side there is a door at the far end of the hall. On either side of the door there are small pools. The daemon appears behind me and explains that this is like a gladiatorial arena with monsters. He laughs at my apparent doom, but in this dream I'm super strong. I. Own. Everyone.

*Scene Change*

I'm climbing across complex scaffolding built around a sphinx. A giggling Japanese girl starts taking pictures and flirting with me. I just smile and wave, smile and wave...
