So I woke up, wrote that long DJ entry about 'Chowderland' and went to class. I came back to my dorm and was so tired I must have passed out, because I woke up on my bed, and recalled a semi-lucid dream fragment. Spoiler for For people who haven't watched soul eater (So basically everybody): These are two of the main characters. Maka (The girl) and Soul (The boy) In the anime, there are people with powers to turn into weapons. Soul turns into a scythe and Maka, who is his meister (or weilder), uses him to hunt demons. They are trying to collect these souls to make Soul into a 'Death Scythe', a weapon that can be used by the grim reaper. Anyways, I can't recall much. The characters are making their way through an urban area at night, and I think had some kind of battle. I don't really recall much of what happened, just a couple of vivid images. One of the strange things I recall was that they did not look like anime characters, they actually looked like real people. They looked a little bit different than their designs on the show, too. Soul's hair was long and laid down on his head (Kind of like my avatar picture) There was a little bit of a spike in the front going over the headband though. Maka looked different as well. Her skirt was longer and her hair was in one ponytail going down the back rather than the pigtails. Even though they looked a little strange as real people, I could definitely tell that they were the characters from the show. ... They ended up defeating whatever they were fighting and getting a demon soul. (I know this can be confusing. They are trying to get souls and there is a character named Soul. I didn't write this anime, Ok?!) So Soul is holding the soul, and I recall it illuminating him in the night. Then Maka walked over. He might have eaten it like he does on the show. ... There was this weird part where the scenario repeated itself two or three times. I can recall the soul (that was normally just a small blue energy orb with a little flame coming off the top) had become humanoid. Soul was biting it and eating it in pieces. Toward the end, Manei came into the dream and we were apparently a weapon and meister pair as well. I almost became lucid at this point. She was trying to turn into a weapon but couldn't figure out how.
I was walking down the street holding hands with my girlfriend (YW). It was on a street of the city where I work that is more or less the gate into the bad neighborhood and in waking life I feel anxious on that street. It was night time and the street was pretty deserted. We needed to get to my car. Ahead there were two homeless people; a couple. As me and my girlfriend approached them, we lost control of ourselves and walked between them. The man then fell over onto me. He was offended and thought that I had fell onto him. He then became enraged and attacked me but I fought him off and beat him. His partner was trying to take care of him as me and YW scurried away. We walked through some other settings, but all the while had an anxiety that the two were looking for me because we both lived in the same city and frequented the same area. Later I was at the home of a girl I used to date (CL). It was a college neighborhood type place. She was kind of coming and going from the scene. I think she was flirting with guys and it also emerged that she had some kind of girlfriend. I wanted to tell her the story of the homeless guy. I began to tell her when some people from the zen meditation group came. I stopped the story while they were there because it seemed wrong that I would do something like that if I'm a Buddhist. When they left, I continued my story. She is also a Buddhist but somehow she understood and was somewhat admiring of me.
a1: Found myself near my house with a friend I haven't seen in a year in his mom's truck. He's talking about how someone else had to have dental surgery on the trip? a2: Teleport to this urban enviroment with some of his friends and him, it's almost like a video game, I knew how to fly helicopters. a3: His friends start driving up a hill in these jeeps, they come up next to a roadblock and my friend pushes them off in an armored car right after I take off in a helicopter. -end- 1: Found myself in an overgrown city with a group of people. Survivors of some sort. There is a statue and my dad says we could put a mattress inside of it. 2: we were next to a little pond filled with water, the water was like jell-o, you could walk on it. I come across my sister's boyfriend and he has some needles and some pills sitting next to him. 3: My dad asks if I did any of the drugs, I say no, he doesn't believe me. -end- 4:Vines were lining the walls of everything, the road, the trees, the buildings. Weird. 1: I find myself on a hill in the snow with a man in white robes. He tells me I have to walk slowly to the statue in order to not be killed. I do so, it works. 2: He tells me I need to start garrisoning my men, war is coming. We need armor and supplies. 3: I go to a city down the hill, city guards salute me and I tell them I need iron and food. 4: I find iron. -end-
I had a dream about an urban setting. I'm looking at two people standing in front of a brick home one is on the stairs and the other is on the sidewalk. They are speaking in french and if I remembered their conversation I could've understood them. (I had been studying my french just that morning soooooo case closed.)
