    Neighbor's House (Lucid)

    by , 02-12-2013 at 10:45 AM (690 Views)
I was in a second house of ours. I got in bed.
There was nice art around the house.

    Dream Skip

In bed, a skateboard gang was skating outside. The sliding glass window was open. They came closer, so I had to say something, but I was afraid because they could gain entry.

I said hello, and I used to skate, but they can't come in. One guy came down and walked in my room. I pretended to get a gun, then remembered my dad's old knife. I got it for real, went up to him and stabbed him.

Now I'm in my Dad's old house. I realize that I shouldn't be here because the house was actually sold, and I realize I'm dreaming. I can't leave fast enough. Remembering a discussion I had with CanisLucidius, I jump and phase through the door with ease.

I decide to go to a neighbor's and make it with her. I fly down the lawn and there are flowers in a garden on the left and right. I take them all in. What a beautiful path to the neighbor's! It was two large beds of Asiatic lilies.

I don't want to lose lucidity, so I say, "I am lucid" as I fly. I get to the neighbor's door, and with haste, I phase right through. I fly to where I know the bedroom door is. I have my father's knife. I lay it on the bed. I see everything so clearly. Her underwear, others in bed...no problem. I do what I want from the back. It isn't quite right so I pull her blue and white underwear to the side and continue.

The guy wakes up. I don't want this to ruin anything. He suspects something and moves closer. I back-hand him in the face and he stays on that side of the bed. The chick says, "Well that was something!"

I flip her over and try to put it in. She puts her fingers in to get it ready. I don't want to lose lucidity so I go ahead and put it in and start to make it with her. I see her so plainly. I touch her while I'm doing her, enjoying the way her skin feels.

    I woke up.

I don't know if SSILD worked, but that is the technique I used. I used it after waking up to use the bathroom, so it was the right time also. I then thought about what I wanted to dream about. I don't know if it was the technique or not, but it certainly worked out exactly how I wanted and better. This was the best, most controlled, most vivid, longest lucid I've possibly ever had.

    BTB now. Good night.

Congratulations on the lucid! You really are a natural with the phasing. Or, to put myself in the proper mindset, you really are good at recognizing that these walls don't actually exist. There? That better?

So did you basically go through your SSILD cycles, flop into your sleeping position, and then incubate the dream as you fell asleep? I should take another spin with dream incubation. I'm always so focused on heading off insomnia at the pass that I tend to be laser focused on just falling asleep as fast as possible. But I might be missing out on an opportunity by being so single-minded.

      Amazing! Congratulations x2!

      Thanks a lot Canis.

Yeah, I really don't believe walls and doors are solid. Thank goodness. I need SOME kind of dream powers!

I often dream what I'm thinking about when I go to bed, though it is usually sex, so as long as I can do that, I'm typically successful. It is a narrow band of success, but results in a high percentage of success. Keep in mind, I also had an outside stimulus, sufficient in strength and uniqueness that it made a big impression on me. I can't attribute this lucid to SSILD; it was simply the technique I used.

That aside, I may cycle on my back or in my sleeping position on my stomach. If I fall asleep on my back, I think there are some benefits for dreaming, but I have to be very tired to fall asleep on my back. If I fall asleep on my stomach, I'm in a comfortable position to dream.

On this night, I cycled a few times and thought about what I wanted to dream about, and it happened. If I had put just a little attention to the ToTM, I could have completed it. I flew by two gardens and was with a DC within seconds. UGH!

If you have insomnia, I don't know what to tell you. I think about things hard and it can keep me awake. If it starts to keep you awake, then quit thinking about it. Maybe you will have planted a seed of intention.

I'll work on my goals; you work on yours. We'll both succeed.

Do you mean some sort of daytime residue, like a discussion about dreaming? That kind of thing? And yeah, while I love SSILD, I figure it's good for my confidence to attribute any successes that I have to me.

That's a good way to approach it. Your phrasing, in fact, reminds me of a technique that Yuschak mentioned when discussing WILD. Basically, he recommended "seeding" a scene by envisioning it for just a moment, then relaxing and becoming completely passive. According to Yuschak, sometimes the image just fades and sometimes it will continue to change and develop on its own. He actually uses this to WILD, but the idea behind it is to avoid getting himself too awake.

      Thanks for the thoughts.

I had been talking to someone about lucid dreaming and really getting into it. I tried explaining how just knowing about it gives them a better chance, and hoped I might spark a little interest. That could have sparked my lucid instead.

Also, I think I would prefer that I could lean on SSILD rather than knowing I did it myself. SSILD would be more reliable. Then again, if I can predict I will become lucid because of a conversation or event, I can just as easily plan events and conversations. That's cool also.
