    WBTB Testing #1 (6hr/10m/8mg, Galantamine)

    I haven't collected good data yet for WBTBs, so I am making another attempt at that now. Here is the go-forward schedule to test 6hr/10m. The idea is that balancing WBTBs with 3 days rest and 2 days on will help maintain sleep rhythm. I've also made it such that I will have 4 WBTB attempts from now until the end of Autumn Comp. So I've set myself up to potentially break my points record again. Time will tell on that one. This test will have Galantamine used in each WBTB, so consistency is maintained. I've also removed Choline because the pill bottle smells fishy. It always smelled, so it is possible that I had a bad batch from the start. It was probably bad judgment to use it for that reason. Either way, new tests are using Galantamine alone. Future testing will look at use/non-use of supplements and rest/wake timings and their impact on favorable lucid dreaming results.

    Goal of the test is to prove or disprove this statement: While on a consistent 8 hour sleep schedule, performing a 6hr/10m WBTB with 8Mg Galantamine will yield favorable lucid dreaming results for theshirecat.

      About date collecting
      You reminded me that I created "REM Chart". This is simple XY Graph where Y axle is delay (between dream schedule and true bed time) or sleep latency (if it is much higher that my base latency). X axle is time of sleeping.
      On the graph I put symbols. Each symbol have different meaning. And it help to estimate where my REM is starting, where I have deep sleep state

      That sounds interesting. Any chance you can drop a screenshot of it so I can see?

      Actually... yes! I dropped quality of photo but everything suppose to be readble. For some reason spoiler tag isn't working.
      Color of marks doesn't matter. And dots above (or below) marks mean quantity:
      0 dots - I wrote 1 specific case
      1 dots - I wrote 2 specific cases
      2 dots - I wrote 3 specific cases... etc.
      I use word "write" because I had much more cases but not every case is posible to write (for example I know time when I woke up but I forgot time when I went to bed) so don't mind I have small amount of marks. Most important thing is I know I have comfirmed REM around 04:45 and 07:15 Also according to this chart 15 minutes of offset isn't affecting much for REM shifting so You can treat "15' " as "0" offset

      Hey I just saw this, sorry!

      It's cool that you were able to pinpoint your REM sleep! I think the generally accepted values for good REM are 4.5hrs and 6hrs into sleep. These are probably based on 1.5hr sleep cycles. For example, 4.5hrs is 3 cycles (1.5 x 3) and 6hrs is 4 cycles (1.5 x 4).
      So your data seems to line up with that. I've had success with WBTBs after 6 hours pretty consistently, but I do want to test other timings as well. Maybe your optimal timing is within that 4:45 to 7:15 window. Nice!

      This "1.5h cycle" is very theoretical, but it is good enough for searching REM cycle. I'm using that methodology:
      -If you will wake up with fresh dream that mean you woke up right after REM;
      -If remembered dream is old you can say you woke up before REM;
      -If you woke up by yourself that mean you have shallow dream and probably you are close to REM;
      -If you woke up and you are very tired and dazed that mean you have deep sleep.

      Thanks for nice words!
