Dream journal entry 5/4/16

Just trying to get my latest most vivid dream down before I forget..I dreamt that I was living in a tower block and my gf was there but she had gone off to another floor to visit an old friend (her ex I do believe) I think she was trying to get weed from him possibly. For some reason I had access to either the intercom or one of thier phones like I Was using it to bug them and was listening in to thier conversation about guns and drugs so pretty serious!
Fast forward to another part of my dream where I'm at some kind of mixed Muslim/ Catholic wedding and the priest is joking about the differences between the two faiths saying in Catholicism Israel is recognised but not in Islam I was spying on people using thier phones as transmitters bugs here btw and had got some important info from the discarded phone of a Muslim attendee.

Fast forward again and I'm outside a flat (another tower block) and it is painted blue with like the golden stars of the European flag on it aswell as some crude anti semitic graffiti of Nazi symbols and the phrase 'kill the Jews'..skip forward again and there are some Muslim youths chasing another none Muslim white youth on the street but he manages to evade them and they turn thier attention to some Muslim women who are carrying assault rifles. It was about here that I had to wake needing the toilet and eager to make my first dream journal entry since October 2012 a full 3 and a half years ago!

Wow can't believe it's been nearly a year since I last updated my dream journal here..Anyhow, thought I'd share some dream fragments from the night\morning before last.
The first I recall is a venomous spider landing on my shoulder and me panicking & not being able to get it off before it went to bite me.. Before I could though I'd woke myself up crying out in anguish! Now I think what had happened here is my girlfriend had got up before me, opened the bedroom door and let the cat in who jumped up on the bed & pawed my shoulder which I mistook for a spider in my dream state! I can't remember when I last had a reality dream merger like that so found it interesting.
Also I dreamt of these puppies that myself and an old friend had, they weren't just normal puppies though as they hatched from eggs and started off tiny things as big as your finger..Can't recall if that fragment occurred before or after the spider one but I'm erring towards before as it was more like a proper dream, more vivid but also mildlky lucid in that I was acutely aware of the absurdity of these egg hatched puppies yet loved them just the same and they either grew really quickly or time skipped on to a point in the dream when they'd grown to a more normal puppy size!
The next next dream fragment I recall was to do with my job where in reality new health & safety rules have prevented us from being able to empty our own workstation waste bins into the bailers machine..now in my dream we'd found a loophole by making big cardboard walls around the bailer (so it looked like a big cardboard castle!) That's all I recall from that one, also can't recollect which order this fragment occurred :/
Finally the final dream fragment I recall from that one night involved yet another animal, this time a horse. I had ran up some stairs like the kind you find on a bridge going over a train track..I was escaping this white horse that was chasing me and it somehow managed to climb the stairs after me, I'd fallen on my arse and there was no room to roll left or right so I had to get up or be trampled by this horse but I awoke before that could happen!
Anyway thought I'd share this eventful nights dreaming to kick start my journal after nearly a year off recording my dreams, good luck to anyone attempting to interpret any of the dream signs mentioned here

All I can remember is that I had gone to this library to use their computers & the librarian was saying to me why can't I use my home computer & I said because I got easily distracted with social networking & would focus better in a library (I assume I was a student). There was only 25 minutes left before it closed & so she let me in and said to get some headphones hanging on the wall. Not sure what significance the headphones were!

Dreamt I was designing a bathroom for my late Uncle with my Dad, we're arguing on finer details like whether to have swing doors. Uncle argues against because he wants a mini telly to watch football on while shaving! Skips to going to a Social club we used to go to with my Dad, As we go in past the foyer there's this rude boy there who I make a smart comment at that he's trying to be cool.
Then as we enter the main bar I see loads of old faces sat together including people I don't really associate with any-more & who were from different parts of town & didn't really know each other.

On bed with unknown girl we're play-fighting, becomes sexual, turns nightmarish, I pull out what seems like a piece of wheat from under my skin, then like a live woodlice comes out followed by more causing me to wake up screaming.

In a car, drive past some girl with a guy. her scarf gets caught in the back tires & comes off, she chases with the guy to retrieve it. The guy comes up by the side of the car aggressively like he's going to attack me. By this point I'm aware I'm dreaming so quickly realise I can fend him off by opening the door and hitting him with it, which I do while shouting at him to 'fuck off'.
I end up at a house somewhere with an unknown driver & we're sharpening stakes to battle our pursuers which is when I realise they're vampires.
For this partially lucid dream I used no techniques except for getting up earlier than usual at around half 6am then going for a nap from about half 1pm until 3pm. This seems to be an affective dream/lucis dream inducing technique for me I.E WBTB.

Two goats pulling a cart break free & rush at me & Mum in the front garden. She tries to close the gate and get the cats in, I wait until she's past the porch door & shut it just in time as goat rushes & butts into the door.

The dream was literally what it says in the subject title, some yoga practitioners and navy guys won an award for doing some kind of chant/mantra correctly. Very hazy recollection of this one.

Thai weed shaped into Olympic rings, smoked one with old friend, felt stoned in dream. Lost them and accused him of nicking 'em & he was laughing. Outdoor toilet which was basically a step leading onto an open sewer..

I was next to this bear sat on a chair (sounds like the beginning of a nursery rhyme I know!) and behind him was like a cabinet with different herbs on each shelf. I was following some instructions to get the ingredients from among these herbs to make bear soup to cure this poorly bear as it was sick and kept slumping forward on the chair. I kept having to prop it up so it didn't fall off!

Think that I'm in Wales in a camper van or caravan with living with some guys & girls, some of which I recognised from when I lived out there. General theme was a rave/outdoor festival being organised. Someone I knew from my hometown where I live now was involved in the plans. And I remember him saying he'd been to the council & got permission & had a poster with some potential acts listed. Money seemed to be a theme too & someone I knew was also trying to get a cheque card from the bank but struggling to.
At one point I was in bed with three girls, one I recognised from the past and another who layed on me saying 'tell me all about it', but I didn't know what to say!
The dream then got really dark & it was like I watching a horror film where this guy finds his family hung in the attic (this was around the time that I first saw the film 'Sinister' so anyone who's seen it will understand!).

I've been very slack on here lately but am going to try to catch up on some dream journal entries that I've been logging into my phone with the intention of writing here.
I unfortunately haven't recorded the dates of these dreams but am just going to type them up in the order they appear in my phone.

Bristol/Jaguar dream

At a friends in Bristol (despite never having been there but having friends there!), playing with a dog in the garden a Jaguar appears, I run next door and lock out this Jaguar from the garden. Suddenly I'm in house and there's this mad bitch we can see through the window, she's going from house to house trying to smash in people's doors with a spade. She comes to the house I'm in with an accomplice. I call the police to tell them and they just hangup! Then I open the door to confront them, they try to cut my hand with a sickle but it's blunt but I vividly feel it going over the top of my hand. I wake myself up screaming 'Get Away!'.

Haven't been on here in a while because of lack of dream recall and things going on in the real world (had an operation couple of weeks ago so currently recovering/healing from that).

Went to sleep about 1am, woke up with the central heating about 6:30am

Dreamt I was on a boat with some family specifically my Mother, StepDad, Brother in law & Sister. We were out on the sea just off the coast of some holiday destination we were at. We were doing some kind of test sail before setting of on a bigger trip later. The sea started to get really rough & the water was black & dirty with waves just swelling up seriously high, as high as high rise flats.
I turned and said to my brother in law I probably wouldn't take the trip later because of the sea conditions & I was worried it would capsize the boat & we'd all drown.
When we got off the boat I was telling the same thing to a stranger as we were walking away off the beach & onto the street. I was telling him that I wouldn't go back on the boat because of dreams I'd had about water!

We seemed to get split up on the streets in a sort of market area & I lost my family. I ended up tussling with some guys but not seriously sort of play fighting. I think I was asking them for directions back to our apartment because I'd got lost. One of them was leading me the wrong way & this is what caused the tussle! They were making me follow this florescent tube light that was sort of floating before me or suspended by a translucent string. Eventually I moved it aside and broke off from them after a little play fight & some laughter then I threatened to smash up some fruit on their market stall!
Eventually I'm back in our apartment but my family have already gone on the boat trip I was so scared of going on. I feel devastated because I'm certain they'll perish, I'm crying out for my mother in despair, I'm looking around a mess of tobacco & bits of weed on the floor..I rush out to see if I can get to my family in time to stop them from going on the boat trip & save them but I forget my keys so have to go back for them..suddenly I wake up & realise I've been dreaming.

Went to sleep about 1:30am & awoke about 7:20am, took me a while to get to sleep :-/

Haven't posted for a while, my dreams seem to have calmed down alot since the first initial withdrawal after quitting weed/cigarettes over 3 months ago.
One of my new years resolutions has been to try and get to bed earlier & wake up earlier because at this time of the year there's only about 8 hours of full sunlight a day & even then it's often obscured by cloud..
Any way my dream last night involved me having moved into a room of an old female school friends who I rarely see nowadays. I was sharing this room with her son (even though she doesn't actually have a son, but two daughters in reality).
In the dream I awoke in the morning in this room there & I'd eaten a bbq chicken pizza from a packet of two the night before. I was arguing with the girl who was accusing me of stealing one of their pizzas! I was insisting it was one of mine I'd bought, think I was actually talking in my sleep a bit here too because woke my self up doing so later! I was quite annoyed & saying to her that if I was already being accused of robbing their food I was probably going to move out!
Then her son woke up and I was talking to him about Tae Kwon do I think & he put some music on an old Bush stereo that looked & functioned like one I used to have. I remember the music being quite upbeat dance like music, possibly Aphex Twin as I was remembering some of their music when I woke. Anyway then his Mother, my landlord and old school friend who I'd been arguing with the pizza about came and started telling him to get ready for school. This is pretty much all I can remember!

Went to sleep about 1:45am after watching some videos on DILD techniques and reading some wikis.

Dreamt I got stabbed in the throat by this like female assassin/ninja with a really thin slightly curved blade. For some reason I wasn't scared or in pain I must have known it was just a dream.

Dreamt I was in this band a mix of guys & girls. Wasn't clear who played what though. We had a gig somewhere & we were hanging out under this canal bridge & had left some shoes & stuff there. Drove to the gig but I'd left something important under the bridge & had to go back alone to get it as they wouldn't let me in even though I said I was with the band.
I was worried about going under this bridge in view of some chavs hanging out near by as they looked like trouble so I sort of snook down there & got what I needed & went back. Unfortunately it was too late & the gig must have been cancelled & the band descended into chaos with some of the girls smoking crack! Can't remember much else.

Woke about 6:30am to turn heating off then fell back asleep

After all this unpleasantness the dreams ended on a positive with me being with this girl getting Ice-cream from somewhere. She was getting strawberry & I decided on apple even though I'm sure they don't do apple ice cream, but they should! The lady serving us poured some apple sauce over my ice cream so goes to show ice cream makes everything better even in dreams!

Woke up normally about 10:30am
