    1. Excessive Craziness X 3

      by , 01-31-2013 at 04:54 PM
      What a morning of dreams!
It started off with me meeting up with a guy I really liked. He looked like Peter Schilling who sang "Major Tom" in the 80's - cute, but a little creepy. He seemed interested and asked if I could help him. He had a white tee shirt he wanted to decorate in a Monty Python style. He grabbed my right wrist and slit it vertically with a razor blade. It started bleeding profusely, so I wiped the blood on the shirt. Oh, I thought, this is the killer rabbit tee shirt! Then when the bleeding had all but stopped, this guy caught my left wrist and slit it! Again, I wiped the blood on the shirt. I was scared now because I didn't know who the razor blade had been used on previously, and I wondered if I was contracting HIV doing this. The guy kept fingering the razor blade and sticking his own fingers. I wondered if he was healthy. Not mentally, I assumed, but I still liked him. We went to a drug store and while in line at the pharmacy, I gave him a big hug. He winced and said I shouldn't do that, his ribs on his left side were very tender.

Next dream, I was back at my childhood home. I was getting it on with a young Chris Tucker in the living room. Then I went to my room and closed the door. Suddenly my family barged in wearing hoods. Kind of freaky. I had not put my turtleneck back on yet, and I wondered if my mother would figure out what I'd been up to in the living room. She didn't seem to notice though, and she didn't say anything.

Next dream, I left the house to go to the store. As I drove down the street, my car shrank so small I could barely fit in it. I made it to the store though and went inside. Everyone was really friendly, saying hello, good to see me etc, and then as I walked up to the counter in the back, I realized to my horror that I was not wearing any pants. I had my pants with me, so I took them out and tried to figure the most discreet way of putting them on. I sat down in the floor and then thought how dirty it probably was, and I was in my underwear! So I stood and leaned against the counter, slipped the pants over my feet, and finally got them up with much struggle. I wondered why no one had said anything about me wandering pantsless through the store.

    2. Nightmare & Crazy Fun

      by , 07-09-2012 at 03:34 PM
I started off this dream sequence with a nightmare. It began with my driving somewhere and finding horses and donkeys that had escaped from their paddock running alongside the road. Then I dreamed I was back at my parents' house. My aunt was sitting on the couch; my mother was in the kitchen. My mother was angry with me over I know not what and wasn't speaking. It may have been that she thought I let the horses and donkeys out while opening the gate, but they were already loose when I came along. My aunt was trying to help us straighten things out. It wasn't working. My mother was washing dishes and threw a plate at me. She missed and it hit the wall behind me. That made me so angry I grabbed a plate and threw it at her. It flew like a frisbee though, completely missing her and landing on one of the eyes of the stove. My mother was furious and nodded her head as if to say, "Okay, you wanna go there? I'll go there." She grabbed a butcher knife out of the sink and started slowly walking towards me. I freaked out and ran to my old room. I slammed the door and locked it tight. I was looking for the key to the deadbolt lock on the window when I thought maybe I should break the window with a chair. I figured that would be too noisy, and she would realize I was escaping, so I went for the key instead and that's where I woke up. (Hope I made it!)

It was just before 4am. Night Ranger's "Sister Christian" video came on TV, and that helped me relax. Eventually I went back to sleep and had the second dream.

In this dream, I was going shopping with two friends from work - EP & KJ. We went to Macy's where they were supposed to be having some super-fantastic, invitation-only sale. We didn't have any invitiations, so my friends wanted me to help them sneak in. I had worked there previously, so they thought I knew all the entrnaces and exits and secrets ways through the back of the store. I told them I didn't, that there wasn't anything secret to it, but they were determined. In the parking lot, we saw a red Porsche that someone had left the passenger door open on, and there was a baby in a car seat crying. My friends paid it no mind and drug me to the back of the store. There were a bunch of doors, and they wanted to know which one would get them into the secret sale. I honestly told them that I didn't know. They tried several doors but found them locked. There was one large freight door, and someone else in the crowd tried that one and got it open. My friends went running into the store, and I followed them. We all went down a dimly lit hallway, then into a fitting room and came out in the store. We split up and went our own ways to shop. I found something I wanted and went to check out. While I was checking out, I asked the salesclerk about the baby in the Porsche. She said that the Porsche was Michael Jackson's car (he was still alive in the dream) and that the child "was not his son". Ha, ha. She then said that whoever inquired about the baby got to keep the car. Apparently I was the first, so the clerk handed me the key to the car. I took my purchase and headed back to the parking lot. I found my friends on the sidewalk outside ready to go. They headed to the other side of the parking lot where we had parked, but I headed to the Porsche. I couldn't wait to drive over and stop in front of them! The key opened the driver's door, and I sat down in the Porsche. The baby was crying and crying. I didn't know what to do with the baby. I couldn't keep it. I patted his cheeks and tried to comfort him, but he just kept crying. And that my friends, is where the dream ended.

    3. Nighttime Visitor

      by , 06-26-2012 at 03:58 PM
This is a strange one. I dreamed that my husband and I were having some work done on the back of our house. He had hired two guys to do most of the work. One of them was an older, short and kind of stocky man from Mexico. He apparently had a crush on me and liked to follow me around. Nighttime came, and my husband and I were getting ready for bed. The workers were supposed to have left much earlier. I was turning out the lights in the kitchen when I saw someone move outside the window. I shut off the lights immediately and ran to hide in the front part of the house. It looked like the worker with the crush, but why was he there so late? Suddenly, I heard footsteps. He had gotten in the house somehow! I hid in a small bed and covered myself with blankets. Surely he couldn't see me or know I was there in the dark. The footsteps got closer and closer and louder. Finally, I could tell he was in the room with me. I was near panic. I was could tell he was close by, and I was afraid he would try to restrain me. My heart was pounding. I wanted to scream so my husband could hear me, but no sound would come out. He kissed my ear instead.

I woke up immediately from this dream and sat up in bed. To my horror, there was someone standing beside my bed! I thought it was a home invasion. I jumped so hard and grabbed my husband with both arms. For once, he did not wake up. The figure looked like a tall and rather thin young man. He jumped back when I moved and appeared to be rather cowed, as if he had not meant to frighten me. We stared at each other for what seemed like a long while. It was dark, but I could see his form, just not his face. Then he faded away like mist. It was about 2:30 am. My heart pounded for awhile after this. My chest hurt like I was going to have a heart attack.

Perhaps my brain was slow to regain consciousness and my dream was pasted over reality somehow? If this was so, then why did the man change from how he looked in the dream? Why was I able to stare at him for so long? Or he could have been a ghostly visitor perhaps, and my brain made up the dream as a result of his visit?
    4. My Subconscious Speaks

      by , 05-10-2012 at 01:42 PM
Fantastic dream this morning! I’m SO glad I was able to finish it. I think this dream came straight from my subconscious. It concerns something I’ve been working on in my personal life, and this dream is sort of like my graduation, I’d say!

I dreamed that I was back at home with my parents and brother. The house was different than it really is, something like three stories. I was there on the sly to retrieve something (though I don’t know what it was) and get out unseen. My brother’s window was open, but I couldn’t get to it without being seen, so I decided to hide in the thickets under the pine trees and wait until nightfall. For some reason, my parents decided to walk around outside. I tried to stay hidden as best I could. I thought about jumping the fence, but there was no way I could do that without drawing attention to myself. So I kept still. Eventually, they found me anyway. (Side note: I do not have a good relationship with my family, in fact I don’t have one at all.) My dad was carrying some kind of stick, maybe a walking stick. Since I was bent down hiding in the bushes, my dad jabbed me in the back with the stick and pushed me face down on the ground like an intruder. It hurt. So I jumped up and decided to make a run for it. By this time, my mother had picked up a stick tried to swordfight me with it. I reached and grabbed a stick of my own and fought back. We parried for awhile, but I was easily able to overcome the weak fight she put up. I ran past her and jumped in my brother’s window. He was not in his room, but I found the object (a small silver thing) I was looking for and ran up the stairs to my parents’ room on the third floor (in the waking world it’s all one floor). I opened their bedroom window which faced the tops of the pine trees and thought about jumping into a pine, which my cat did one time, but then I remembered I could fly! So I stepped onto the window frame and jumped! I was flying! I flew right over the pine trees circled around flying from the backyard to the front and then down the road. I was careful to keep a good altitude. Fortunately that didn’t seem too hard. I was soaring over treetops and electrical lines. It was wonderful and beautiful! I could see birds and other animals. The clouds were fluffy and pink. The sun was shining. It was late afternoon. And I was thinking as I left my family, “They didn’t even know I could fly!” I love flying; it feels so good!
