My mom has packed up her bags and she's putting them into an old, sleek pewter station wagon. I watch her back out of the driveway and I wave awkwardly, a signal she might have took to mean hold on, but she didn't stop. Then she is back in the house with me and I'm ask her where and why she's going. She said she won a trip to Cancun from Kal on the radio. I quickly look up Kal and the Cancun prize on the web and couldn't find anything.

Then the whole house turns into a large electronic palace with giant domed screens for walls. My computer becomes my control pad and I pick the scene for the house to bring alive. There's a scene with people breaking a bunch of ceramic dishes, there's a whirlpool scene. My mom has to run through all these tests which try to capture her but she always breaks free.

She tries explaining that she just needs to escape and she holds up a small, useless objects. She says I need to get away from shit like this - I think it's a plastic crawfish in her hand. I don't believe her excuse and say that's it's the responsibility she's running away from.
