    1. False Awakening Chain

by , 08-31-2012 at 02:05 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
I had a false awakening chain last night. It lasted for an hour; it was horrible!!!
Funny thing is that I was lucid throughout the whole thing, but I had absolutely no control. I tried to control the dream at a few points, but it didn't work.

Each false awakening was almost exactly the same. Eventually, I was able to realize how to tell if it was another false awakening. My dreams always seem to be really choppy, as if they have low FPS. However -- after about 7 false awakenings -- this stopped. Then I started trying to check by the blurriness of my surroundings. This got fixed 7 FAs later as well. Then it just keeps going and going. I don't even know how many FAs I had in that one dream. I do know this; it lasted for exactly one hour.

Eventually, I realized I could probably control the dream. After all, I had quite a lot of lucidity. I tried to take control; absolutely nothing happened. I also kept doing reality checks. At one point, I thought I was once again awake, but then while talking to a DC I said "wait a minute" and did a RC. Sure enough, still dreaming.

I tried multiple methods to wake up; none worked. So, I just decided to sit and wait out the FA. I closed my eyes, and I instantly woke up! Is that not frustrating?!

Nope! I was still dreaming. Unfortunately, I never found out about this. The dream soon faded out.

I really underestimated these FA chains. I'm quite spooked now.
    2. Terminator 3!

by , 05-23-2012 at 01:04 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
      3 Words: BEST. DREAM. EVER.

I suddenly become lucid. Not sure how or where. I decided I wanted a Terminator 3 based dream. So, I summoned the TX and the T-850. Like in the movie, the TX tries to kill me and the T-850 defends me. I don't remember much from the dream, but I remember this part very clearly:

I was in a school. I ran into a classroom and went in the closet to hide. It was completely empty, not even a shelf or a light. I could see as if there was a light, though. Unfortunately, the TX opened the door, and the first thing it saw was me. It didn't even have to look around first. It just walked in and looked straight at me as if it already knew where I was hiding. It prepared it's weapon and was about to fire it. I was afraid if I was killed the dream would end, so I teleported the T-850 to the classroom. It took full advantage and shoved the TX to the floor. I can't remember anything else, so I'm going to consider it a dream fragment.

      Again, BEST LD EVER!!!! :bravo:

If you haven't seen the movie, you should check it out!

    3. Vivid DILD

by , 05-13-2012 at 08:09 AM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
      Another DILD last night.

The first part was vivid, but the rest was an absolute blur. Probably for a good reason (My listing method was in effect somehow). Anyway, something happened that made me question if it was a dream or not. I walked away and did a nose-plug RC. I experimented with it a little, kind of fascinated. I can't remember anything else. I probably lost lucidity at some point.

    4. 3rd Lucid Dream

by , 05-07-2012 at 06:29 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
Another DILD last night. I'm getting better at this.

This time, I had much more lucidity and clarity than before. Still not enough to remember those dream commands, though.

I don't remember what made me do a reality check, but I was lucid enough to remember to stabilize the dream. I did the trick where you rub your hands together. For some reason it didn't work. I didn't notice, though.

The dream was very blurry. Can't remember anything. I remember stabilizing the dream and flying. That's all. I don't even remember doing a reality check.

All I need to do is become lucid enough to remember the "More lucidity!" dream command. Then I'll be fine. D:

    5. So Close......

by , 05-06-2012 at 02:04 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
Last night, I dreamed of looking at a digital clock. It said something like 27:89. As soon as I was about to do a RC to verify, I woke up.

There wasn't a rush of excitement, or any emotion at all, and I woke up too abruptly to try and stabilize the dream. Very frustrating.

Usually, I discover that I'm entering a dream WAY too early (I wake up abruptly and remember hearing music and/or people talking), and the rush of emotion (not sure which emotion for some reason) is enough to INSTANTLY wake me up. This case was different. I was absolutely emotionless, yet I woke up as soon as I moved my dream hand (I was about to do the nose-plug RC). I didn't move my real hand, so that can't be what woke me up. I think this dream occurred merely to taunt me.

    6. Lucid Dream?

by , 05-04-2012 at 07:16 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
I just remembered having a lucid dream. Not sure if it was last night or not. It's VERY blurry. I can barely remember anything.

All I can remember was me struggling to summon something/someone. I think it had something to do with a swimming pool.

    7. First lucid dream!!!!!!!!!!!

by , 04-26-2012 at 02:42 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
Holy crap, I just had my first lucid dream!!!!

I focused on this dreamk for a good 45 minutes or so, and I managed to recall plenty of information. I'm still going to consider this a dream fragment though. I was barely lucid during this dream. In fact, I wasn't even lucid enough to remember the "more lucidity" dream command.

It turns out I did a reality check in a dream. I tried to stabilize the dream, but it didn't work at all. The only thing I thought to do was fly. I would've done a LOT more, but I was barely even lucid at all.

I flew for a short while, but I mostly focused on "Swimming in mid-air". I swam through the air as if it was water. This was really cool, and it was the most vivid part of the dream.

I never did anything other than flying, sadly.

I was only slightly lucid. In fact, so slightly that I still wonder if it was actually a lucid dream or not. I don't really care. This was my first taste of lucid dreaming, and I'm just speechless!

This happened last night when I was trying a new method of attaining lucidity. I'll post it here when I find it. http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/activa...cidity-130989/

(I also remember talking to a DC at one point. That's three goals completed in one lucid dream!)
