I would go with right before going to sleep to get your mind more "in the zone." I believe the theta stage is where most lucid dreaming and REM sleep occurs. By playing binaurals (though I prefer isochronics), the brain is already in the dreaming sort of frequency, and may lead to longer, more vivid dreams, and may also help to attain lucidity. Dunno about playing them as you sleep, though. |
