      samedi's workbook

      hey im samedi and i mainly use dilds to lucid dream and every now and then i use dream re-entry to link 3-4 lucids i aslo use affirmations to help induce lucid dreams. i have tryed doing wilds but have never gotten any resaults. im really at good the fundermentals of dream control such as rc's stabilizing the dream by useing all my sences and relaxing the stay in the dream. im good at summoning objects like guns and melee weapons but the guns dont work or they fall apart but the melee weapons act normal. im a novice level flyer 'n' i cant go vary fast and i want to fly into outer space but every time i try the sky morphs into somthing else or i wake up.my dream recall is really good cos i used to record all my dreams so now i just write down my lucids.

      Hi samedi and welcome to DILD workshop!

      Sounds like you are an accomplished lucid dreamer

      Is it possible, that your weapons are not working properly because you expect them to fail? Our dreams are driven by our thoughts and if there is just a hint of doubt, it will manifest itself. You may need to recondition your thinking and to KNOW, that your weapons will work. Can you maybe try and create a new weapon from scratch, that you will call 'the amazing weapon that never fails' or something like that and really KNOW, that this one will not fail you?

      Same goes about flying. If you already flying, I believe it will be better with more practice as you gain more confidence in your abilities. Here is an article about flying Maybe it will help.

      In 99% of my lucids, my first thought is to go to the Earth orbit, or to the Moon. Without any luck so far. Have you tried building a space ship to get there? Happy dreams

      yes thats exactly why they dont work because i always have a little doubt. next time i summon a gun i will know it work. lol i never thought about creating a spaceship to use i always try to fly into space. i might try using a wormhole cotrolled by a tv remote like in sliders.

      I like the idea about sliders. I used to watch that show. Too bad it was cancelled. Have you tried picking a specific place in space? Like the moon, or space station? Have you tried yelling out "take me to the orbit (moon, mars)? Happy dreams

      Eh, why not simply turn on the TV, change the channel to something about space and then jump inside and end up there? Flying out of earth is always difficult because people don't know what to expect but still expect something, so another thing is to try and find some videos of how a missile goes out and study it before going to sleep, that should make it easier to fly out of earth.

      i want to go to the moon and have a look around for aliens that would be cool. ive never tryed yelling take me to the moon i always try flying there . i like the tv idea ive heard of it but ive never tryed it, im going to try it next lucid .

      Sounds like you have a good foundation, DEILD chains are a good method to stay LDing.
      my dream recall is really good cos i used to record all my dreams so now i just write down my lucids.
      Ah well make sure it doesn't slip, you need to be remembering at least one dream a night.

      Anyway, it sounds like you are off to a good start, I've got some tasks for ya:
      - watch that recall, make sure it doesn't slip and if it doesn't start the DJ for all dreams again, even if it's bullet points
      - Try some awareness techniques in the day, try some MILD techniques at night and WBTB MILD
      - write your progressions here

      im trying some awareness techniques throughout the day and the mild technique at night. no lucid dream last night but i did realise that water is my dream sign. in most of my dreams theres a river or a beach or pool or random body of water. im going to add water to my mantra something like "when i see water i will know im dreaming".

      Also, RC whenever you see water, even if it's just on TV, in a magazine or in a shower. "When I see water, I realize/know I'm dreaming" is a good mantra, just make sure you say it in present tense, never future. Happy dreams

      thats a good idea gab im giong to start doing that. i had 2 lucid dreams and a 5 sec fa in between last night but i forgot my goals and in both my dreams i was being chased/followed. in the first dream i think i became lucid when i ran past a pool i stopped and did a rc then i killed the two dc's by making a gun with my hand and pointing it at them saying bang and believing they would die which they did then i lost lucidity. then in the last ld i became lucid coz i was aware i was dreaming then i tryed killing the dc that was following me with fire from my hands which didnt work so i bailed over some fences and lost lucidity shortly after. i think if i wasnt so annowed by the dc's i would have stabilised the dream and remembered my goals.

      Bah silly DCs! Next time try teleporting instead of fighting back? Open a door and expect to be in a safe place, that way you will get enough time to stabilize or work on your goals or just enjoy the dream.

      yer i should have just ignored them and stabilised then worked on my goals. i mean really what can they do there only dc's. im just really easily annoyed, i had a dog ruin a lucid one time because it was jumping at me even though i was flying about 20 meters above it.

      Ah yeah, its hard to get rid of those emotions in dreams. Well if they bother you again, try convincing them it is a dream and that they are just wasting time? Maybe that will help with stabilization and you could get some cool answers.
