      Dreihundert's Workbook

Hello folks, I am called Drei... And I've been keeping a dream journal for around a month now. I've been with Dreamviews for about the same time.

I have finally decided to keep a work-book in this group.

I suppose we need to have a starting point. When I began to study lucid dreaming, I was more interested in the idea of dreaming alone than excited about eventually achieving lucidity.

However, that doesn't go to say that I'm not interested in improving my lucid dreaming skills.

Since beginning my studies in dreaming, I have increased dream recall significantly.

Most days I don't remember my dreams, but I have recently been getting fragments and memory of having long and vivid dreams, but not being able to recall the details. This is better than remembering nothing, like I used to.

But anyway. I will keep this thread updated.

      Welcome welcome.
Oh very nice that recall is improving, good luck!
Are you doing anything right now to induce lucidity, or just enjoying the ride and waiting for recall to go up?

I've been working on recall lately.

I've been going through a dry-spell at the moment.

I don't work on lucidity as much as most folks do. I'm trying to focus on building stable dreams and good recall.

Welcome to the workshop! You are our first citizen from United federation of planets. Although, I consider myself an honorary one.

Ok, so lets work on your recall. I would suggest to write in your dream journal everything. Even if all you remember is one word or just a felling. Write an affirmation: "I have good memory and my recall is getting better every day" and believe it. This will let your mind know, that dreaming and remembering your dreams is important to you and will help you achieve both.

Here are some techniques to start practicing now, together with working on your recall:

      1. mantras - please read this tuturial
      2. daytime awareness technique - SAT this tutorial also talks about DILD - the technique we are concentrating on in this workshop, and about reality checks
Live long and prosper. Happy dreams

Hm, Today I experienced my first true Lucid Dream... I realized I was dreaming and took over the dream. It was excellent.

I'm remembering multiple dreams, but I've noticed myself waking up with one dream memorized, then passing out after thinking about it for a minute, then having two more dreams.

Odd, but recall is improving slightly nonetheless

I'll begin to use your tips, Gab, and see what I can come up with. Lately I've been having some trouble with recall because of the fact that I don't use an alarm clock at the moment. I tend to wake up, remember dreams, and pass out and forget them.

Last night I used an alarm clock and had good recall, so that's something I'm bringing back into my dreaming regiment. I've also been slacking at the MILD. Lol. . Just a dry spell really.
