Batistaman35's Workbook
My name is Carlos, I'm 14, and when i learned about lucid dreaming i was excited! I always thought sleeping was a waste of time, but this would allow me to live my life realistically, and the way i want it the other part of the day. Sadly, I'm quite an inpatient person, but i want to learn against that. The best way to learn for me, is a person to talk to. I always have to move, which makes WILD difficult, and often get sidetracked. So yeah, ism trying WILD, so that can work lol.

Welcome, Carlos!
I'm not gonna give you false promises, but if you really excited and if you keep up with your awareness question +RCs +mantras for at least a few weeks, you will lucid dream.
I had my first DILD on the first night, but I was extremely excited and spent day and a half straight reading posts on DV. If by any chance you are interested, and please know, you really don't need to or have to, but this is the thread that got me so excited.
tl;dr - one of our members, in his LDs he got friendly with a dream character, that he later suspected was more than just a DC. She took him visit her planet and other incredible stuff.
I love space and questions about where does it end, and why are we here, and are we alone are really intriguing me and his thread was about space travel and other stuff.
So I read his thread, while thinking "omg, this can't be real, is it possible I could do this? Travel to other planets, fly through space and perhaps learn answer to my questions?"
While I was reading it, I kept asking myself "is this a dream?", then I looked at my hands and said "Next time I'm dreaming, I look at my hands and realize I'm dreaming". I repeated this a few times every 15 min or so.
Then at night I had a dream in which I started to fly like superman (first time ever) and I got an idea that it would be a good time to have a dream. I stopped mid-air, my hands flew up infront of me(never ever before I saw any part of my body in my dream) and I realized I'm dreaming. It changed my life forever.
Here is and article about all things you need for DILD.
Start with that and please do ask your questions here or in the article. :alien:

I do drink lots of coffee too. If you can fall asleep like that, I see no problem. Sometimes it's even good, because it keeps you more aware. Good luck:alien:
